Beyond the Gates

Last Week...

As everyone prepares for the cotillion, [Spoiler] catches Grayson stealing plasma! The Duprees get ready for Samantha’s cotillion. Jacob meets with Ren. Ashley is in a panic as Grayson prepares for the worst. Bill questions Hayley about her past. Lia puts Derek in the hot seat.

Unexpected guest show arrives at the cotillion; shots are fired at the warehouse! Grayson completes his assignment, but then all hell breaks loose at the warehouse. Samantha and Jessica make their cotillion debut while Nicole has to deal with an emergency.

The wrong person is crowned Platinum Deb; [Spoiler] dies on the operating table. Someone dies while a Platinum Deb is crowned. Vanessa questions Joey about the chaos of the evening. Tyrell and Jessica slip away for their first time together.

Fairmont Crest celebrates Easter; danger closes in on Ashley. Special guest star Jennifer Holliday sings for a friend. Nicole takes Kial to her family’s Easter brunch. Ted advises Carlton. Anita puts Anastasia in her place. Hayley feels like an outsider in a sea of Duprees. Grayson receives a threat. Naomi and Jacob find a way to connect.

Despite being apart on their wedding anniversary, Jacob and Naomi are together in their minds. Naomi and Jacob spend their anniversary apart—both remembering their love story from first date to wedding vows. Izaiah helps his brother out while Naomi leans on Ashley, Dani, and Bill.

Last Week...

Brooke confronts Katie, and Donna’s kicked out. The Forresters reel from the reveal that Hope is Katie’s “visionary.” Over at Spencer, spirits are running high as Team Logan celebrates their big win. Well, except for Hope, who will continue to make us wonder whether this has happened.

Brooke unleashes on Katie, and Eric won’t forgive Donna. As the Forresters work to minimize the damage, we’re left to ask, “What damage?” The Hope fallout extends to a terrible twist of trouble for Dylan. Eric is deeply hurt that his wife didn’t fill him in on the goings-on at Logan.

Brooke and Katie pump up the volume on their showdown as Electra has a snit fit. Electra struggles with the fact that Will didn’t warn her about Logan’s jewelry line. After the HOPE by LOGAN launch, Brooke heads to Logan and makes it clear to Katie that their feud is just beginning.

Hope stands her ground, and Electra squares off with Will. Ridge and R.J. compare notes on how badly they think it’s going to go when Brooke comes face to face with Hope. Speaking of whom… Hope handled her job switch so terribly that she’s left to beg for forgiveness as she tries to mend broken relationships.

Hope collapses, and Electra threatens to leave Will. Deke tells Remy that he isn’t ready to give him another chance. Will faces the consequences of keeping the truth from Electra. Maybe he’ll finally realize she’s way too immature for a relationship? Brooke’s anguish over Hope’s defection leads to a dramatic breaking point.

Are Hope and Liam prepared to be booted out of her mother’s mansion?!

Coming Up...

Liam finds Hope napping on the catwalk, Ridge locks horns with Bill, Electra’s snit fit rages on, and Sheila finally signs those divorce papers.

Monday, July 6:

Electra comes to a heartbreaking decision, presumably that she must dump Will. Also presumably, Will will then breathe a sigh of relief that that’s over with! He should be thinking the same thing about his girlfriend that fans are. (Read their take here.)

Liam discovers that Hope has collapsed on the runway after her emotional confrontation with Brooke. Was it stress that caused Hope to faint… or something more serious?

Tuesday, July 7:

We can’t imagine why, but Ridge delivers an ultimatum to Electra. “Stop whining or else,” perhaps?

Meanwhile, as the fallout from Hope’s defection intensifies, Finn does what he can to support Steffy. While shirtless, naturally.

Wednesday, July 8:

You wouldn’t think Ridge would have time to get involved in the love lives of Forrester’s JV staff, but he does, going so far as to try to sway Electra’s opinion of Will.

As foretold, Sheila moves in for the “kill,” making her intentions crystal clear to Deacon and Taylor.

Thursday, July 9:

Finn is caught off guard by an unexpected visitor.

Deacon’s marriage to the eight-toed psycho officially comes to an end.

Friday, July 10:

Ridge takes matters into his own hands with Bill, who delights in gloating over Logan’s triumph.

It seems like (bad) old times when Finn is caught in the middle. On the plus side, maybe he’s finally getting a storyline?

Taylor begins to question whether Sheila has really changed or still poses a threat. We’d wager she’s changed so long as she gets her way, but when she doesn’t, she’ll live up to the promise of this creepy Bold & Beautiful promo.

How did Deke’s collection completely change overnight? Why is Brooke obsessed with “yachts and jets and money” all of a sudden? Does the concept of trade secrets completely elude Electra?

The Young & the Restless

Last Week...

Nikki undergoes risky surgery, and Jill returns (temporary recast with Lauren Koslow). As the Newmans stand vigil at Nikki’s bedside, Victor wonders whether, if his estranged wife’s vision is restored, she’ll be able to see her way clear to forgiving him. Billy and Cane receive a surprise visitor. We’re pretty sure it’s Jill, who returns with an agenda… and a shocking secret!

Patty goes psycho over Diane, and Jill and Billy get emotional. Kyle and Traci react to Patty’s latest move the same way they have to all of her previous moves: They worry! Diane isn’t waiting for cavalry to ride to her rescue. Oh no, she’s plotting her own escape, thank you very much. “Jill forces Billy and Cane to settle their issues”. But “Jill tries forcing Billy and Cane to settle their issues” is more likely what it means.

Jack puts a dangerous plan in motion, and Cane makes Billy an offer. Jack sets a trap for Patty. What? A catnip toy? A saucer of milk? Good thing “Lane” are on good terms, ’cause Cane asks Lily for a favor. Billy sabotages Sally’s latest venture — and perhaps his own relationship in the process! Is there anything the nepo baby can’t screw up?

Nikki awakens, and Cane grills Matt. Victor plays his cards close to the vest. Which is a neat trick, considering the game he’s playing is probably chess. Stephanie and Nate discuss his past — maybe with an eye on his future at the same time? Nick and Noah aren’t buying what Matt Clark is selling.

Patty stabs Jack, and Kyle rescues Diane. Jack plays a dangerous game with Patty. Kyle’s plan to rescue Diane takes an unexpected turn.

Hey, Stephanie, what happened to doctor/patient privilege — did you really have the right to share Nikki’s medical information with Holden?!

However, their negative response has no bearing on her new line’s success. The Spencers are set to be basking in the light of their triumph. Why Hope’s Logan debut is such a shock for Forrester. How the Spencers pulled off the biggest surprise of the year (so far). Steffy Saw Hope as a Traitor All Along; Steffy saw Hope for who she was. But is she right? The truth came out. Hope left Forrester Creations to create a whole new line for Logan. Jaws dropped at the fashion house, except for Steffy, who was convinced that Hope was a traitor all along. News got out about Hope joining Logan. Steffy wasn’t shocked about Hope’s latest move. Steffy recalls Hope’s role in the coup attempt.

Roman offers aid to Ari, Brady takes a risk for Sarah, and Tate does a song-and-dance for Holly. Ari turns to Great-Grandpa Roman. Brady continues investigating for Sarah. Holly won’t let Tate cheer her up. Chad has a confession for Julie. Javi is done with Leo. How Chad Causes His Own Problems; Thomas and Charlotte are always right. Chad didn’t just demonstrate why his parental skills are lacking when it comes to Thomas and Charlotte. He also made it clear how he creates all of his own problems. It was the final bow for Cullum and Sidwell. One of them most definitely feels like it was for good, while the other has potential to make a comeback. They left behind a bloody mess and body count that will change many lives in Port Charles. Sidwell was arrested. Cullum was one of several shot at Wyndemere. The story is over, but likely not forever.

DOOL: EJ Realizes Something Is Terribly Wrong on Smith Island; Stephanie insists she’s handling Alex and Joy’s growing connection just fine, but her conversation with Kayla suggests otherwise. Meanwhile, EJ uncovers a devastating link between Holly’s poisoning and DiMera Pharmaceuticals, forcing him to decide how far he’ll go to protect himself. Stephanie complains to Kayla while Joy actually makes a move on Alex. Plus, EJ finally realizes something major is wrong on Smith Island. Stephanie cries to Kayla. Joy distracts Alex. EJ gets a report on Smith Island. Sarah has a secret for Brady. Holly and Tate remember what was. Holly’s One Popular Lady. Holly gets answers and visitors. Holly is a known liar, especially about drugs. EJ could take advantage of that.

Beyond the Gates

Last Week...

It’s good news for Martin and Eva, but things look pretty dire for Kat! They say time flies when you’re having fun. But it’s dragging for Kat and Eva’s loved ones as they gather to await the results of their surgery. Despite tensions running high, Anita actually reaches out to offer Leslie an olive branch. While it probably seems less important than what’s happening in the operating room, Martin learns the results of his primary. Jacob is the topic when Elon and Joey butt heads.

It’s traumatic Tuesday as Kat experiences a wildly different life! Nicole and Ted are brought together as they sit by Kat’s bedside. As for Tomas, he leans on the extended Dupree family. Kat winds up having a surreal experience. At the same time, Eva and Martin struggle with their own guilt.

Eva and Kat have an important conversation, Ted has high hopes, and Tomas has big plans! The tornado’s aftermath continues to play out, with Andre asking Dani questions about what went on that night. At the same time, Naomi takes her father to task for clearly having Dani on his brain! Tomas does something that absolutely stuns Chelsea. Vernon and Anita rarely clash, but he’s about to strongly disagree with his beloved wife!

Hayley’s sexy plan is derailed by Dani — plus, Anita gets good news! Dani and Bill are in the middle of a pretty heated exchange when Hayley walks in. Something tells us she’ll pick up on the tension between them pretty quickly! Ted is caught off guard by an unexpected request. When Anita pays a visit to Dr. Bauer, will the update he provides her with be positive or negative? Might there still be hope for Ashley and Grayson? She certainly leaves him thinking it’s possible!

Deanna gets new marching orders from her dead daddy — plus, Leslie’s plan is nixed. Leslie is about to make an announcement that sends several people into a panic. Joey has a proposition for Vanessa. (Might it be a proposal? Or will he finally agree to let her play a bigger role in his business?) Deanna decides she needs to turn to those she trusts. But will she listen to their advice? Brady and Steve ask for Johnny’s help, Sarah turns to Xander for a favor, and Stephanie’s worried about Joy manipulating Alex. Somewhere, John is smiling down as Brady officially joins Steve at Black Patch. How will Xander feel about the favor Sarah asks? As Stephanie is opening up to Kayla, Joy does something that sends Alex into a complete panic.

Holly’s rushed to the hospital, Liam and Ari reconnected,t and Gabi’s apology just angers Theo even more. Sarah and Brady work together as they try to get answers about the recent Coriseal-related deaths. Could this be tied to the recent issues being experienced by Holly? DOOL: Holly’s Sudden Collapse Changes Everything; Sarah and Brady race to uncover the truth behind a growing medical mystery, while Holly’s latest collapse raises alarming new questions. Meanwhile, Gabi makes a move that could leave Theo rethinking where he stands. Sarah and Brady are on the hunt for the drug that killed Sarah’s patient. Plus, Holly collapses, and it changes things. Sarah and Brady play detective. Liam and Ari reconnect. Gabi has a surprise for Theo. Holly faints yet again. Sarah and Brady Question Liam; Liam is back in Salem and under fire from Sarah and Brady. Ashley has been dealing with a double dose of dshe’s about to give the lab tech a sliver of hope for the future. Ashley gives Grayson a reason to be hopeful about their future. Anita receives a major update in her ongoing cancer journey. Dani and Bill clash again as Hayley may overhear more than she should. Ted receives a surprise request.

B&B: Hope and Liam Get Caught in an Awkward Situation; As things heat up between Logan and Forrester, Lope find themselves in a tricky position. Liam and Hope are put in a tight spot as the fallout from Logan’s announcement continues to hit the fan. Meanwhile, Will has to promise to keep a secret. The games the Spencers have been playing to hide Hope’s employment at Logan. More need-to-know information that the Spencers are keeping under their hat. Hope and Liam Might Be Without a Home Soon; Hope and Liam might be overstaying their stay at Brooke’s once the truth comes out. It’s revealed that Hope and Liam’s cabin is undergoing renovations. They’ve been staying at Brooke’s home until the job is complete. But once the truth comes out about Hope’s new line for Logan, they might find themselves without a home altogether. Hope and Liam are currently staying at Brooke’s until their cabin is renovated. Hope is keeping a big secret from her mom about joining Logan. The Logan fashion show is on Friday, and it’s going to be tense. 

Y&R: Victor charges ahead despite Nikki’s objections, while Jack faces a shrinking window to reach Diane before Martin’s influence takes hold. Both men are convinced they know what’s best, but neither battle is likely to go according to plan. Victor and Jack are in the same boat: Victor is determined to save Nikki whether she wants it or not, and Jack is determined to save Diane… whether Patty wants it or not. Victor decides Nikki needs his help. Jack knows Diane needs his help. These two are more alike than they’ll admit. Patty Discovers the One Weakness Jack Can’t Afford to Hide; Patty finally figured out exactly how to manipulate Jack. That realization could make rescuing Diane far more difficult than either of them expected. Jack thought he was manipulating Patty to buy himself time to find Diane. Instead, Patty proved she finally understood exactly how to control him. The moment she realized Diane was Jack’s greatest vulnerability, the balance of power shifted in a way that could make rescuing his wife even more difficult. Patty realizes Diane is Jack’s greatest weakness. Jack kisses Patty to protect Diane. Dr. Markham uses Diane’s fears to tighten his control.

GH: Lulu and Dante Make a Surprising Discovery; Lulu and Dante uncover something unexpected. Meanwhile, Jordan seeks help, and Josslyn’s patience finally runs out. Lulu and Dante have teamed up to extract Rocco from Britt. And they make a discovery. Is this a good discovery or a bad discovery?  Lulu and Dante make a discovery while searching for Rocco. Josslyn clashes with Cassius as tensions escalate at Wyndemere. Jordan reaches out for help while facing personal and professional uncertainty. Chase receives a warning while Alexis gets summoned to the PCPD. Alexis Plays Hardball After Danny Goes Rogue; Alexis took on Cullum to save her grandson. Alexis was summoned to the police station. Once there, she wasn’t surprised to learn that Danny was yet again in trouble. This time, though, he was in serious trouble, and she had to pull out the big guns to save him. Danny tried to sneak into the WSB. Alexis took on Cullum. This is just the beginning of Danny going rogue.

DOOL: Kristen Makes a Desperate Move to Protect Herself; Kristen scrambles for protection as EJ closes in, while Sarah’s investigation threatens to expose far more than anyone expected. At the same time, Ari and Holly each find themselves one step closer to answers they may not be ready to hear. Kristen is playing damsel in distress as she begs Xander to protect her from EJ. Kristen hides behind Xander. EJ gets a bad tip. Sarah shares a secret with Brady. Ari wants Gabi to spill it. Holly thinks she knows what’s going on with her. Cheers for Gabi and Ari. Ari found out that her mom paid Liam to leave town – and she really let Gabi have it. There was a lot to like about their scenes, but one part in particular made the confrontation feel super real. Gabi confessed to Ari. Ari exploded at her mother. Both spoke each other’s language.

Leslie’s shocking announcement sends Fairmont Crest into a panic. Joey presents Vanessa with an intriguing proposition while Deanna seeks advice. One family celebrates while siblings compete. 

B&B:  Logan Strikes a Pose on the Runway; The Hope Logan collection makes its debut. The Hope Logan collection launches. The long-awaited drop puts Katie’s company center stage as she debuts its next era. What the Forresters know about Logan’s new designer. The surprises waiting in the wings. Brooke Realizes She Got Played By Her Own Daughter; Brooke had no idea about Hope joining Logan, and now the news is out. Hope made her debut wearing the Hope for the Future diamond. She unveiled her new line, Hope by Logan. Brooke realized that she had been played by her daughter, who kept this secret from her the whole time. The Hope by Logan collection rolled out today, and it’s edgier than Hope for the Future ever was. After weeks of doubt, Hope finally went through with the fashion show. Hope revealed herself as the creative mind behind the line. Brooke was shocked upon learning the news.
