Beyond the Gates

Last Week...

Leslie returns to the scene of her “crime” — plus, Grayson receives a warning! Martin’s got a bright future, but it’s causing a bit of a struggle between some of the people in his orbit. Will Vernon be able to convince Bill to see things his way? Ashley gives Naomi an update about Grayson that might have Jacob’s wife more concerned than ever. Kat puts on her detective cap to ask a few questions about Lynette. The only problem? The woman she’s asking happens to be Lia, aka one of the plasma ring bigwigs! Nicole and Leslie cross paths and, well, do we even need to tell you how that goes?

The soap is pre-empted today for continuing coverage of the Union of European Football Associations.

Second verse, same as the first: the show is once again booted for European football.

While Hayley ties one on, it may be last call for Ashley — plus, Grayson reveals he knows [Spoiler]’s secret! When challenged by Kat, will Bill rise to the occasion? Joey has something he wants done pronto, and that’s why he’s turning to Randy. Vanessa goes to Hayley, of all people, with a business proposition! Lia does something that chills Grayson to the core. Meanwhile, Jacob is convinced that someone’s about to walk right into a potentially deadly trap!

Things get weird between Andre and Dani, and Nicole has a rather sexy fantasy… about Ted. Nicole and Carlton cross paths with Food Network star Sunny Anderson. Things get a little wild when Andre and Dani use their imaginations. Grayson makes a deal that could change someone’s life forever. Last Week...

Dylan’s visitor is Remy, and Hope considers jumping to Logan. The identity of Dylan’s mysterious caller is officially revealed — and it’s not who we thought! Liam is sure that he has the perfect solution for Katie’s designer problem — and for some reason, it doesn’t rhyme with “eek” but with “elope.”

Remy wants Dylan’s help with Deke, and Hope gives Ridge and Steffy an ultimatum. Poor Dylan is put in a difficult position as her caller seeks to address “unfinished business.” Perhaps not coincidentally, R.J. vows to always protect Electra. Get ready, bro, ’cause we suspect you’re about to get your chance. Hope reaches a(nother) breaking point with Steffy. So much for all that come-together BS from when Liam had his fake brain tumor.

Dylan warns Remy, and Hope goes to Brooke about Steffy. Brooke’s painted Katie as the devil incarnate. But the blonde nevertheless extends an olive branch to her sister. Daphne makes Dylan an intriguing offer.

Hope convinces Brooke to take Steffy’s job, and Carter issues a warning. Hope urges Brooke to take Steffy’s place as co-CEO of Forrester Creations and claim what she’s entitled to at the fashion house. Carter warns Ridge and Steffy that their actions are sure to have consequences. We don’t think he means the good kind, either!

Brooke tries seducing her way into the co-CEO position, and Katie shocks Donna. Steffy becomes more frustrated than ever with Hope and her dang line. Donna frets that Katie is destroying the family. Eh, if Brooke sleeping with Bill while he was married to Katie didn’t, we don’t think anything’s gonna do that!

Coming Up...

Brooke wraps Ridge around her finger and convinces him to ask Steffy to give up her lofty position as co-CEO. Plus, Miss Dylan is moving on up, and Zende is ready to throw down; he’s so ticked at the way his work is treated at Forrester Creations.

Monday, May 11:

Doing her best to keep the peace — what little is left of it! — Donna encourages Katie to put family before fashion.

Hope’s biggest fan, aka husband Liam, worries that she is second-guessing her future.

Doing Brooke’s bidding, Ridge catches Steffy completely off guard. Guess the “family before fashion” advice didn’t get all the way to him.

As Brooke debriefs Hope, the younger woman sees a different side of her mother.

Wednesday, May 13:

Steffy’s reaction to Ridge’s suggestion leaves him full of doubts. Maybe this would be a good time for another pine cone to fall on his head?

It’s practically the coup all over again as Brooke and Hope create a path forward for themselves.

Thursday, May 14:

Though Remy remains a major worry, Miss Dylan can distract herself a bit with the new job opportunity she receives at Forrester Creations.

Bill and Katie become concerned about Brooke’s power play.

Friday, May 15:

Zende’s been patient for longer than we would’ve. Finally, he grows frustrated with his role at FC. Logan, here he comes?

Brooke is hopeful that Ridge will make the right decision. And if he doesn’t, well, she has a closet full of nighties she can use to change his mind!

The Young & the Restless

Last Week...

Victoria’s stunned by Billy’s news, and Jack and Kyle plot against Victor. Victor’s lips have always had difficulty forming the words “I’m sorry,” so needless to say, he makes no apology whatsoever to Diane. Lily answers Nikki about her deal with Victor. Billy should be well-versed in dealing with Victoria, what with them having been married. But will he be successful when he bargains with his ex? Sounds to us like telling a cat not to knock stuff off the counter. Nevertheless, Jack tries to set boundaries with Patty.

Christine has Phyllis arrested, Victor kicks Michael out of the ranch, and Matt has amnesia. Victor and Nikki take a chance to get back together and shove it. Christine backs Phyllis into a corner. Worried about her son’s involvement with Matt Clark’s “widow,” Sharon interrogates Sienna about her past.

Cane is arrested, Billy issues a warning, and Holden makes Claire an irresistible offer. Michael and Phyllis do damage control. Lily’s attempts to help Malcolm are thwarted when Christine has Cane arrested. Claire makes a bold move to support Holden.

Claire and Audra square off, and Matt becomes entranced by Phyllis. Distracted from her efforts to conquer the world and stay out of prison for a hot minute, Phyllis is troubled by Nick’s behavior. Matt Clark turns back up in Genoa City. Cane makes a promise to Lily: Come hell or high water, he will make it to New York to save Malcolm. Is that a promise that he can keep?

Noah attacks Matt, and Lauren sounds the alarm with Phyllis. Nick reveals a secret to Victoria. Chelsea was more piqued by Riza’s talk of her steamy relationship with Adam than she let on. Now Chelsea’s asking him directly about his and Riza’s affair. Lauren gives Phyllis a warning. Odds of Phyllis heeding it? Slim to none.

Coming Up...

Phyllis plays offense and Noah, defense; Jack gets the best of Patty for a change, and Cane rolls the dice with Lily.

Monday, May 11:

Though she probably didn’t need to be nudged in the slightest, Victor recruits Christine in his plot against Phyllis.

Getting clean is no mean feat, Nick discovers as he struggles with sobriety.

Now aware that Sienna’s murderous husband is in Genoa City and claiming that he has amnesia, Noah launches a defense against Matt Clark.

Nikki is going to put to the test whether she really can tell Jack anything when she makes a shocking confession to her ex-husband and confidant.

Adopting a “Go big or go home!” approach, Cane takes a ginormous step with his former wife, Lily.

You’ve gotta admire Patty’s optimism. Though her chances of winning him over are slim to none, she still pleads her case to Billy.

Wednesday, May 13:

Rather than leave the job to his crackerjack security team, Victor leads the manhunt for Matt Clark himself.

Adam not only questions Nick’s recovery, but he also asks his brother if he’s using again.

Devon worries about Lily’s decision-making.

Thursday, May 14:

Fearful that his son is backsliding into addiction, Victor gives Nick some tough love.

Jack tends to be one step behind his enemies. But for once, he isn’t, as he turns the tables on Patty.

Phyllis is in so much hot water that she should probably think twice before setting a trap. But we kinda doubt she thought even once!

Friday, May 15:

It’s always one step forward, two backwards, one to the side with “Lane.” The week ends with Lily catching Cane off guard.

Holden and Claire explore new territory — perhaps the streets of Manhattan- when they head to the Big Apple for Malcolm’s surgery.

Nick strikes a dangerous deal.

Last Week...

Cassius kidnaps Joss, and Jack learns about Carly and Valentin! Wearing a robe in her bedroom, Carly yells at Jack while Valentin aims a gun at him. Gio and Emma went to see Aladdin on Broadway. Now, the Great White Way comes to Port Charles as that show’s star, Michael James Scott, performs at the Savoy! The walls are closing in on Josslyn, while someone issues a threat to Lucas! Something really gets to Brook Lynn, who is extremely moved. Trina and Kai turn up the heat.

Ethan reveals a connection to Delilah and leads Sonny to doubt Ric. Ric gesticulates as he explains to Sonny. Ethan has a bit of information he needs to pass on to Sonny. Meanwhile, Ric finds himself being put to the test. Will Laura come through for Elizabeth, who goes to the mayor (and her former mother-in-law) with a request? Chase and Brook Lynn settle down to talk about a very important aspect of their future. Jordan is all ears when Curtis has something to confide. But should he perhaps consider keeping quiet?

Ethan cries after meeting Phoebe and looks at a photo of Delilah. Britt is in for a shock. What causes Dante to seek out Liz? Ethan does what he can to cover his tracks. Laura does what she can to protect someone she loves. Sonny faces a dilemma!

Cassius tells Joss who he is, and Valentin calls Nina for help. Carly is about to get some pretty alarming news. Nina might want to brace herself, because Valentin is about to reach out to her. Nicole and Leslie face off again one year after their explosive fallout. Bill and Vernon clash over Martin’s political future. Ashley reveals shocking details about Grayson’s stabbing to Naomi. Kat consults Lia about Lynette Wise.

B&B: Dylan’s Stalker Reveal Exposes a Family Link to Remy She Tried to Hide; Dylan comes face-to-face with her mysterious caller. Dylan’s stalker is ready to come out of the shadows. For weeks, Dylan has been harassed by a mysterious caller, one who suggests they have “unfinished business.” Dylan came face-to-face with her stalker. Someone has been calling her for weeks. The mysterious person finally revealed themselves from the clothing rack. 

Y&R: Victor Uses Patty to Break Jack and Diane, and It Could Spiral Fast; Victor turns to Patty to break Jack and Diane apart, but the chaos he unleashes may not stay contained. Victor set a plan in motion that trades precision for volatility. By using Patty to keep Jack and Diane apart, he chose a tactic built on instability rather than control. It advances his feud quickly, but it also introduces a force he cannot fully manage, setting the stage for consequences that could spread beyond his target. Victor uses Patty to keep Jack and Diane separated. Jack and Kyle pivot toward retaliation instead of repair. Diane sees the manipulation but cannot stop it. Nikki Corners Lily Over Victor Deal; Nikki presses Lily for answers about Victor’s scheme while Diane faces Victor’s cold reaction, Jack shuts Patty down, and Billy scrambles to cut a deal with Victoria. Time will tell if this threat is credible or if Lucas has nothing to worry about. Lucas faces a growing threat as danger intensifies at Wyndemere. Josslyn lands in a risky situation after pushing too far. A special performance at The Savoy brings romance and lighter moments. 

DOOL: How Kristen Will Go After EJ Now; Who is her ultimate weapon? Kristen was crushed to learn that her plan to kill Johnny didn’t come off as planned. Meanwhile, Dylan will be navigating a difficult situation, and R.J. is set to affirm his intent to keep Electra safe. Why Steffy and Hope aren’t seeing eye to eye. The issues Dylan has been facing at work. The reason R.J. wants to protect Electra. 

Y&R: Claire Steps In for Holden; Lily’s plans fall apart. Hope that Michael has finally broken free from Victor’s spell and is going to defend Phyllis against the Newmans’ trumped-up charges. Sonny identifies Ethan as a problem that needs to be dealt with. Ric asks Elizabeth to leave town with him. Justine questions Laura about keeping sensitive information buried. Curtis reveals he may have found the other driver Jordan has been searching for. Tracy pushes Brook Lynn to take accountability by turning herself in. Sonny Checks Ric’s Story and Finds a Gap; Ric’s newfound desire for a family bond with Sonny comes into question as the latter learns his brother is lying to him. Trust was the name of the game for Sonny as he questioned Ric and Ethan’s loyalty. Neither Ethan nor Ric is fond of the other, and in the name of protecting Sonny, they tried throwing the other under the bus. However, it turned out Sonny only needed to be worried about Ric because he is definitely up to something. Sonny got an earful from Ethan about Ric. When Sonny questioned Ric about it, the lawyer lied to him. Justine gave Sonny intel, and Ric showed his true colors. 

DOOL: Meet Philip’s Long Lost Son; Why Tyler needs to come home to Salem? After Gabi dismissed Philip as not being a parent, he told her the story of the son he has out there… somewhere. This isn’t a rewrite, but a bit of actual Salem history. What does this mean for Philip and Gabi’s future? Philip has a son. Philip’s son is close to 20 years old now. Philip’s son could return to Salem. Joy’s Hopeful Reunion With Alex Takes a Turn; Joy heads to Brady Pub with baby Kelsey, hoping for a fresh start with Alex. But his reaction quickly shifts the mood. Joy is all smiles for baby Kelsey until a phone call seems to irritate her. However, she rallies and pulls herself and the baby together to meet Alex at Brady Pub. Of course, things may not go as she’d hoped at the pub. Alex’s reaction to the baby leaves Joy upset and raises new questions. Joy returns with baby Kelsey and believes Alex is the father. A tense phone call rattles Joy before she meets Alex at Brady Pub. Jada Breaks Amy’s Heart; Jada delivers devastating news as Amy faces the worst. Meanwhile, Alex pushes for a future that leaves Stephanie questioning everything. Jada in the position of breaking Amy’s heart with bad news. Plus, Alex begs Joy to stay in Salem, while Stephanie confides in Julie about how she really feels regarding that. Hope finds herself in the middle of the Forrester-Logan battle. Brooke Attempts a Truce with Katie; Brooke wants to move past her feud with Katie. Brooke plans to bury the hatchet by trying to cool things down with Katie. Elsewhere, Daphne makes a proposition to Dylan that could interest the young receptionist. Brooke reaches out to Katie, hoping to repair their fractured relationship. Katie stands firm on Logan, leaving their truce uncertain. The longer Rita hangs around the DiMera madness, the clearer it becomes that she is not just an assistant anymore. She’s becoming part of the machinery. Rita’s cheerful personality suddenly feels much darker around EJ’s resurrection plans. EJ casually revealed there are more “patients” available for experimentation. Leo accidentally uncovered more DiMera secrets while spying with binoculars. Lexie’s shocking return blew apart the DiMera family gathering. Last week..

Business as Usual at Forrester Creations. Steffy, who missed all the drama surrounding Ivy and “lettergate,” is finally back at Forrester Creations and making moves of her own. Starting with…? Oh dear. She informs Hope that, in the wake of Logan’s official launch, the company has to refocus its priorities, putting couture on the front burner and Hope For the Future on the back burner. You can just imagine how well Hope will take that news!

Katie tells Brooke she’s old news. When One Door Closes, Another Opens. Hope’s frown may quickly turn upside-down, however. Over dinner with hubby Liam, father-in-law Bill, and Katie, Hope hears her aunt’s concerns about Logan’s second line — as in, the fashion house doesn’t have one. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to add two and two and figure that Hope will jump ship to work with Katie and finally save Deke from waiting tables in the process!

Liam wants Hope to work for Katie, and Donna squares off with Brooke. First a Menacing Phone Call, Now This! Ever since Dylan received that terrifying phone call from an unidentified someone, she’s been on edge, and so have we. WTH is the “unfinished business” this person thinks they have with Forrester’s newest employee? Dylan is at work when she hears a noise behind a rack full of clothes. Is it Jamie, Kingsley, somebody playing a prank? It would seem not, because when Dylan actually sees who it is, she lets out the kind of scream you usually only hear in horror movies.

Katie and Hope consider an explosive proposition,n and Dylan gets another scary call. Could it be Luna, whom Dylan supposedly ran over with her car? EP Bradley Bell has sworn that the villainess is really, most sincerely dead. But he also played that trick with Li, Finn, and most recently Sheila. So we’re not even 50-percent convinced that Lisa Yamada isn’t coming back, never mind 100-percent.

Coming up...

Dylan’s mystery caller puts her in quite the pickle, Steffy and Hope compete to see which of them can become more aggravated with the other, and Katie floats an idea that leaves Donna’s sister in shock.

Monday, May 4:

Though we already figured out who it is — the hair was a “dead” giveaway — the identity of Dylan’s mysterious caller is officially revealed.

Liam is sure that he has the perfect solution for Katie’s designer problem — and for some reason, it doesn’t rhyme with “eek” but with “elope.”

Poor Dylan is put in a difficult position as her caller seeks to address “unfinished business.”

Perhaps not coincidentally, R.J. vows to always protect Electra. Get ready, bro, ’cause we suspect you’re about to get your chance.

Hope reaches a(nother) breaking point with Steffy. So much for all that come-together BS from when Liam had his fake brain tumor.

Last week...

Nick collapses, and Cane’s a match for Malcolm. Trapped by Matt at an abandoned gas station with no water, Sharon and Noah do their damnedest to stay alive. Working toward a common goal — ending Matt’s reign of terror — Chelsea and Sienna team up. Abby and Devon have been at odds for a while now over his newfound determination to make Mariah pay for kidnapping their son. But  Abby is going to try to make peace with her husband. Egad… Can [Spoiler] keep Phyllis out of jail?! Cane receives life-changing — and, for Malcolm, potentially life-saving — news.

Nick’s life hangs in the balance, and Matt blows the garage sky-high. Nick’s addiction is out of control, and he finally hits rock bottom. Phyllis has been adamant that she’s not giving up Newman Enterprises Summers Conglomerate, so Victor makes good on this threat. Can’t imagine what leg Lauren has to stand on, but she nonetheless holds her ground with Daniel. Speaking of Phyllis’ son, is he about to find himself in the middle of a whole new love triangle?

Sienna shocks Noah, Nick, and Sharon, and Billy pops the question. Adam forces Nick to face the truth about his addiction. Off Cane’s news, Lily shares a promising update with Stephanie and Holden. Presumably, she tells Malcolm, too. It’s Billy’s turn to surprise Sally.

Jack hatches a plan, and Sally says yes. Victor forces Michael’s hand. Jack might be smarter to stay off the battlefield. Instead, he reveals a new plan of attack. Cricket threatens Phyllis, setting in motion a rematch of their age-old feud. Patty’s never been one to pass up an opportunity to stir the pot. Thursday, it’s Kyle’s buttons that she pushes.

Nick comes clean, Victoria throws Billy under the bus, and Matt’s alive. Previously, it was Adam, Victor forces Nick to come clean. Victoria prepares her defense against Phyllis. Once again, Sharon questions Sienna’s loyalty.

Coming up...

Lily’s hopes of saving Malcolm are dashed, Victor and Nikki refuse to go from break-up to make-up, and Matt Clark shows up in the last place that he should: Genoa City!

Victor’s lips have always had difficulty forming the words “I’m sorry,” so needless to say, he makes no apology whatsoever to Diane.

Billy should be well-versed in dealing with Victoria, what with them having been married. But will he be successful when he bargains with his ex?
