Brand new “The Young and the Restless spoilers” reveal Summer will go after her birthright and fight for the top spot at Newman.
Playing the Player
Summer’s (Hunter King) intentions aren’t nearly as malicious as they sound–at least not towards her family. It’s all an act to get closer to Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) so she can expose his schemes. She knows he’s been using her and she wants revenge.
It’s going to take a lot of work to pull off this plot, so she recruits her dad and Auntie Vicky (Amelia Heine) to get the ball rolling and make sure they hook him in.
Vicky Fires Summer!
First things first – the Newmans have to make it look like Summer’s an outcast and out for blood. Vicky and Summer fake a fight that results in Summer getting her walking papers. Out of a job and supposedly feeling the scorn of her family, she acts like she’s ready to fight back.
Luca’s Plots to Win the Throne
Luca wastes no time sharing his thoughts about all of Victoria’s downfalls. He points out that he and Summer are always cleaning up her messes. He claims they can do a better job as a team than Vicky could ever do on her own and suggests Summer stakes her claim and go after Vicky’s job.

Will It Work?
Summer’s double agent status is going to be hard to pull off. To prove Luca’s the one behind the oil disasters, she’ll have to discredit her family, claw her way to the top, and convince the board that she’s the best woman for the job. If it doesn’t work, the company could end up in ruins–and Luca will have everything he’s ever wanted.

Two Men, One Phyllis
Billy (Jason Thompson) gives Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) one more chance to choose him. He can’t shake his feelings for her and knows she feels it too.
However, Phyllis is still torn. She’s in love with Jack (Peter Bergman), but being with Billy means their affair will come to light. Phyllis doubts they can ever be a real couple after the truth comes out because Jack’s pain would be too much to bear. At least she’s thinking of her husband.
