Joseph Mascolo Tribute: Stefano DiMera's Timeline (DOOL)
1982: Stefano arrived in Salem after son Tony and learned he had sired Lee Dumonde's daughter, Renee, who Tony was wooing. Stefano caused Evan Whyland's car to crash, killing Evan and injuring Maggie. Stefano also had his men hold Mickey prisoner on his private island, and made Anna discredit Stefano's sworn enemy, Roman.
1983: Stefano tried to have Roman killed, then took Marlena and Liz DiMera hostage. He was apprehended by Roman. Awaiting trial, Stefano seemingly suffered a fatal stroke.
1984: Using the code name Phoenix, Stefano framed Roman for a series of murders, Roman uncovered that Stefano had faked his death with help from nurse Kelly Chase, who he then killed (along with Trista, Eugene's wife). Stefano schemed to have nephew Andre disguise himself as Roman, then murder Marlena during a televised concert. He was foiled by Roman, then was briefly presumed dead again when his limo plunged into icy waters. A not-so-dead Stefano needed a mysterious trio of prisms to cure his brain tumor. After struggling with Stefano on a cliff, Roman died in Bo's arms. Stefano snatched the body.
1985: Stefano blamed the Brady family for daughter's Megan's death. He kidnapped Marlena and Roman's twins, Eric and Sami; Bo rescued them. Marlena shot Stefano and was prosecuted for his murder, but she was freed after a mistrial.
1988: Steve and Kayla nearly adopted Stefano's young biological son, Benjy. Roman (later revealed to be John and a victim of Stefano's psychological programming) worked to prove that Stefano was alive and causing mayhem. DiMera took Carrie as a hostage. He lured the Brady's to his island, where he ordered Roman to kill his clan. The plan failed, and Stefano made his getaway in a helicopter.
1993: Wheelchair bound and mute from a stroke, Stefano returned to Salem, where his adopted Kiddies, Kristen and Peter, were living. Stefano and Peter schemed to kill John.
1994: Stefano forced Marlena to confess that she had cheated on Roman with John, resulting in Belle. John linked Stefano to Curtis Reed's murder. Stefano faked his death in an exploding car and hid out at Maison Blanche in Louisiana. He ultimately held John and Marlena hostage there. Stefano disappeared into the water after a struggle with John. Later, he secretly fed Marlena psychedelic drugs in a sadistic courting ritual.
1995: While possessed by the devil, Marlena tossed Stefano from a balcony, leaving him physically injured and an amnesiac.
1996: Stefano's memory and obsession with Marlena were restored when he was zapped by lightning. DiMera spirited an ailing Peter out of Salem, allowing Jack to take the fall for his murder". Stefano kidnapped Marlena, keeping her in an underground cage in Paris. She was ultimately freed by John.Stefano was presumed dead in an explosion, but revealed himself to Kristen, and helped her conceal from John that she had miscarried by finding a pregnant look-a-like, Susan, to dupe him. When Laura found out both about Kristen's flat tummy and Peter's non-death, Stefano wiped out her memory.
1997: Susan learned that Stefano had impregnated her (with the future EJ) via in vitro fertilization. Stefano kept Jack's cellmate, Travis, on his payroll. Stefano helped Kristen (who'd been busted for her baby lie) foil John and Marlena's wedding with the "gift" of a presumed-dead Roman. Stefano was arrested for (some of) his misdeeds, but secured his prison release in exchange for a cure for Romans fatal illness (a rare orchid that he and Kristen trekked into the rain forest to retrieve).
1998: Stefano had a chip implanted into Vivian's tooth that controlled her mood, then married her and began to plot her demise to get his hands on her fortune.
1999: Stefano tasked Dr. Rolf with activating a chip in Hope's brain that turned her into Gina. Meanwhile, DiMera was holding the real Princess Gina in a castle turret in Europe.
2000: Gina locked Stefano and Hope in a secret room in her castle. Once freed, Stefano masterminded a baby switch between Hope's newborn (who believed that he had sired) and the sickly son of Dr. Rolf's niece, Marlo, with Hope's tot going to Lexie (Stefano's daughter by Celeste).
2001: Stefano killed Marlo to keep the baby swap a secret and skipped town to evade arrest.
2007: Stefano returned, mind-controlled Steve via a devil tarot card, swiped John's kidney and strong-armed Sami into marrying EJ to end the Brady/DiMera feud.
2008: Stefano was busted for harboring a presumed-dead John. Marlena injected him with a drug that turned him into a vegetable. When Stefano recovered, he sought revenge.
2009: Stefano was revealed to have ordered a hit on Mayor Marino. He blamed Philip for Tony's death and tried to rub him out. Stefano colluded with Nicole (and ordered a hit on Dr. Baker) to keep Sami from finding out that Sami was Sydney's mother. He got Kate to marry him by vowing to keep her out of jail for her crimes against Chloe and Daniel.
2010: Stefano blackmailed EJ into letting him spend time with baby Sydney. Stefano sought the identity of EJ's shooter. He kicked Kate out for concealing from him that he had another son, Chad.
2011: Stefano masterminded an organ-trafficking scheme. To break up Sami and Rafe's marriage, he had Rafe's life taken over by a look-a-like while holding the real Rafe hostage and erasing his memory.
2012: Stefano forced Hope and John to steal works of art for him. He divorced Kate for cheating on him with Ian and mourned Lexie's death. Stefano was presumed dead again after being confronted by various gun-wielding Salemites and shot. Really, Ian had faked his death.
2013: Stefano swiped evidence from the police station to aid Will. He helped Sami avoid a prison sentence for shooting Bernardi (who Stefano had hired to castrate Rafe) by forcing EJ to return control of the DiMera to him.
2014: Stefano worked to keep Kristen's drugging of Eric from becoming public knowledge. When EJ was shot dead, he stole his son's body from the morgue.
2015: Stefano plotted with Chad and Victor to take down Kate, and tried to get Chad to marry Abigail for her inheritance. Stefano blamed Marlena for Kristen's death and took her hostage. He ordered Aiden to marry Hope "or else".
2016: After secretly learning he was fatally ill, Stefano framed Hope, who believed he was involved in Bo's kidnapping, for his "murder" by goading her into shooting him three times at close range.

Tensions rise at GC Buzz when Hilary (Mishael Morgan) returns to claim the top spot. She’s ready to take the chair and reclaim the limelight. However, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) isn’t giving up her job so easily.

Lulu’s Having a Baby? No, But Emme Rylan Is!!!
Emme Rylan might play the most baby-obsessed character on soaps right now, and clearly, it’s not a stretch. Yes, Lulu found her long-lost daughter via stolen embryo just as Rylan announced she’s pregnant.
On Friday night, the actress made it official on Instagram with an adorable slideshow telling everyone how happy and excited she is–and it culminated with an ultrasound picture giving the big news away.
Fans had suspected something might be up when Lulu started wearing looser clothing and carrying around strategically-placed props, and it looks like they were right.
Rylan and her partner, Dan Money, already have two sons, Jackson, 7, and Levi 5. No word on when this new little one is expected to make his or her arrival.

They also know that Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and probably Nancy (Patrika Darbo) know the truth. Philip only revealed the word “embryo” while under the influence of truth serum. Could a worried Nancy possibly reveal more if she were asked?

General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Vows to Kill Valentin!
Breaking General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, December 27 reveal that the search for answers continues for Port Charles’ more curious citizens.
Get ready for another exciting episode!
Motherly Bond
Lulu (Emme Rylan) is falling in love with Charlotte more and more every day.
She’s determined to get her daughter away from the man who killed her brother Nikolas.
Laura (Genie Francis) is just as distrustful of Valentin for the same reason and promises to support Lulu in her custody battle. She then visits Anna and discusses the upcoming case, letting the spy know that if the court rules against her daughter, she will kill Valentin herself.
Anna (Finola Hughes) remains determined to find out what her connection to Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) really is and why he seems so familiar. Thanks to Emma’s snooping (spy gene skips a generation), she knows that Valentin has been harboring a youthful picture of Anna.
Unsure what it all means, Anna turns to hypnotherapy. Valentin realizes the picture is lost and nears a breakdown over it in front of Nina (Michelle Stafford).
Bomber Search Continues
Jason (Billy Miller) remains determined to solve the mystery behind who set the bomb that ended up killing Morgan. He and Sam meet with Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jason says they are no longer convinced that Julian was behind his own bombing.
Jason returns to the pawn shop to search for clues, realizing that so many things continue to point to that place.
Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) learns important information about the restaurant.
Worn Down
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been drinking more than ever and now that she’s stuck with Julian (William deVry) in her house, it certainly hasn’t abated. Using that to his advantage, Julian began reliving their highlights, wearing down Alexis’s self-control, drawing her into a kiss.
After, he felt a little let down that it took her being drunk to kiss him – and even worse when she told him she did it on purpose so he’d know what he’s lost forever. Alexis grows tired of Julian’s meddling about her having a drinking problem.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Business With the Enemy
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, December 27 promise a day of truth seeking, terrible business deals, and a life altering event.
Business With the Enemy
Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) lucrative business proposition perks Victor’s (Eric Braeden) interest. Not only is Ashley going behind Jack’s (Peter Bergman) back, but the deal is too good to pass up. Unfortunately, it means he and Jack will have to work side by side.
Jack Flips His Lid
Understandably, dealing with Victor sends Jack over the edge. He can’t imagine having to team up with his arch enemy one more time. No matter how hard they try to get along, it never ends well. Jack and Victor are like oil and water, so it’s only a matter of time before it all falls apart.
Mariah Zeroes In On Hilary
Across town, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) still can’t shake the feeling Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is out to get her and starts to try to piece everything together. Her fall was no accident, but she needs a way to prove Hilary’s to blame. The redhead knows she needs concrete evidence, or Devon will never believe her.
A New Life?
Meanwhile, Dylan (Steve Burton) faces a tough decision when Christine (Lauralee Bell) offers him a change of pace. She needs him to go undercover but that means leaving Sharon behind.
While the move will be good for his career, it will destroy what’s left of his marriage. He needs to decide if being with Sharon (Sharon Case) is worth suffering through all the pain that comes with that life or if it’s time to pack up and move on.

Bradford Anderson Offers Apology to General Hospital Fans
General Hospital viewers are going to notice that Spinelli looks a little bit different.
That’s because actor Bradford Anderson is being replaced by another actor — Blake Berris — at the last minute because Anderson accepted a recurring role on the upcoming season of Showtime’s Homeland, leaving the ABC soap in a lurch.
The very popular actor took to social media to explain why he won’t soon play Spinelli and to make sure fans know it was because of him — not GH — that there is a change.
Stepping into the very big tech-savvy shoes will be Berris, known to fans as Nick on Days of Our Lives. He also sent out a message to GH fans on social media, trying to put minds at ease. You can see both messages below.

Hey all! So I’m appearing in a couple episodes of the upcoming season of Homeland on Showtime! It’s a show that I’ve watched and loved since it began, so to be working on it is pretty exciting. The unfortunate part is that it conflicted with some episodes of GH that I was supposed to do, and I had to back out of those episodes. To make it even worse, it all happened last minute. I put GH in a very difficult position and for that I am incredibly sorry.
GH took whatever steps they needed to proceed without me. My plea to you is to be compassionate, understanding, and appreciative of whatever decisions they made. If anything looks or sounds different than you’re used to, understand that it’s because of a decision that I made. The situation was created by ME.
I know some might rush to negativity, but I'd like to urge everyone to think about how unique our genre is, and how soaps truly embody the spirit of "the show must go on". To give you an idea of hard GH had to work, they learned on a Friday that I wouldn't be there to film on Monday. Imagine having to find an actor to play Spin in an important storyline, OVER A WEEKEND. And just wait til you see who they found... The perfect choice. I for one can't wait to watch.
I’d like to apologize to everyone at GH and thank them for being understanding of my predicament.
SO thank you all for your continued support of me, for sending as much positivity to GH and it’s actors…and for WATCHING!!
Love and thanks,
Bradford

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Karma Bites Jack’s Behind
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Victoria’s panic over finding a new place for Brash & Sassy is finally coming to an end. She’ll get everything she wants, but she’ll have her daddy to thank.
Jack and Victor Strike A Deal!
Poor Jack (Peter Bergman) is between a rock and a hard place and needs some help desperately. As it turns out, Victor (Eric Braeden) could be the answer to his prayers, but it’s going to come with a price.
He’ll give Jack the Newman Tower rooftop for the Abbott-Winters Foundation gala, but it’s going to cost him! Victor wants Jack to rip up Bash & Sassy’s eviction notice and let the company keep the lab.
Jack Gives Up The Lab!
Unfortunately, Jack has no choice at this point. He has to either make the deal or cancel the fundraiser.
The foundation’s programs need money, and they are way too important to too many people. If they don’t hold the gala, the entire organization will suffer. It’s not his ideal plan, but it’s all Jack has right now.
Victor may not be the best dad in the world, but for the first time he finally pulled out all the stops to help one of his kids. At least Vicky (Amelia Heinle) will be happy. She gets to stay in the lab and concentrate on rebuilding the company she started all those years ago.
Jack’s Stuck With Billy!
While this is great news for Victoria, Jill (Jess Walton), and their team, it means the Abbott brother feud could get out of control. Jack has tried hard to get his brother out of his life, and he’s going to hate being stuck together for the foreseeable future.

What Port Charles Couple Were Fans Saddest to See Split in 2016?
Breaking up and making up is what soap opera couples do, and the lovebirds on General Hospital are no exception.
Of course, sometimes the split is for good, but even when an actor leaves the show and/or the character dies on-screen, fans still reserve the right to hold out hope.
So which Port Charles twosome caused the most tears when they went their separate ways this year – and was this, as Cher would say, really their last good-bye? Almost 4.000 GH fans had this to say:
Carson City
A full 64% of you were crushed by Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) latest split, despite the fact that this is GH’s signature, can’t-live-with-them-can’t-live-without-them (although, in Sonny’s case, can’t-kill-them isn’t off the table) couple.
Come on, folks, this is a duo that survived their son’s multi-year coma, Sonny shooting Carly in the head while she was giving birth, multiple affairs, infinite lies, and the fact that no matter how much they try to hide it, deep down, they are both horrible, selfish, sadistic people.
If they can work through those obstacles to reunite over and over again, they can work through anything.
Hey, Miki!
Morgan (Bryan Craig) and Kiki (Hayley Erin) don’t have the star-crossed history that Morgan’s parents, Sonny and Carly, do (though they did share an STD, and that’s pretty bonding), but 23% of fans were still heartbroken by their breakup.
With Morgan being presumed dead, their odds of happily-ever-after would seem bleaker than most (plus the fact that Kiki was already planning to dump him even before that). But considering death is a mere hiccup on soaps, a 2017 reunion still isn’t out of the question!
Julian Calendar
Attorney Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) stands for truth, justice, the American way, and women’s rights. Just ask her, she’ll be happy to tell you.
(Or don’t ask her, she’ll tell you anyway). Except when it comes to men. If they’re hot enough, Alexis has no problem overlooking their tendency to kill, steal, manipulate the legal system, and exploit women (as well as underage girls).
Except when she doesn’t. Alexis married mobster Julian (William deVry) because staring at his six-pack abs was enough to convince her he’d changed. Turned out the abs lied, and he was still a Very, Very Bad Man. So they broke up, upsetting 12% of you. Let’s hope you don’t end up turning to the bottle to deal with it, like Alexis has.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Goodbye, Dylan?
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Dylan is heading out of the city for a dangerous mission and he may never come back.
A Dangerous Investigation!
Christine’s (Lauralee Bell) offer to fly Dylan (Steve Burton) to Miami so they can take down a drug lord is just what the detective needs. He’s drowning in sorry and needs to get away from all the sadness and stress. Life in Genoa City hasn’t been kind to Dylan, and it’s time he walks away.
No Reason to Stay!
Dylan’s life took a traumatic turn when he gave Christian back to Nick (Joshua Morrow). Losing a third child is more than any man should ever go through and it’s wearing on his heart and soul. It’s been a whirlwind of battles, sorrow, and emotions, and he can’t take it anymore.
Sharon Freaks Out!
Unfortunately, Sharon (Sharon Case) doesn’t take the news of Dylan’s departure well. She loves him more than any man and can’t imagine not seeing him every day.
Sharon knows he’s suffering, and she’s suffering as well, but running away is extreme. To make things worse, being undercover means she won’t hear from him until the mission’s over, whether that’s days, months, weeks, or even years.
Is Dylan Really Leaving?
Dylan would rather take on one of the most dangerous cases he’s come across than wait around in this place for one more. The risk to his life means nothing anymore since the loss of his precious baby.

Sybil the Psychic Predicts the Future: Steve Steps Up
Steve has had a lot on his plate this year, but I – Sybil the Psychic – plan to look into his Days of Our Lives future to see what’s ahead for him.
By examining my crystal ball, laying out the cards, and reading the tea leaves, I will predict what’s coming up for Steve (Stephen Nichols). But I make no promises, because let’s face it – it’s not an exact science (and I’m not really that…talented). Okay, it’s time to dig in.
Near Future
The crystal ball shows that Steve has been in a very good place lately, reconnecting with the love of his life, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), and learning that he’s going to be a grandfather – thanks to son Joey (James Lastovic).
But that particular piece of good news looks to be short-lived. Storm clouds are on the horizon, spelling out an upcoming loss, though how much isn’t quite clear.
A Few Weeks Down the Line
Steve reached in and pulled out the Six of Swords card from the tarot deck. With regards to the past, he has overcome a major hurdle while remaining true to himself.
There is still trouble ahead, but the worst is behind him. As for the present, there will be a change in his life for the better – a burden or challenge he faces will yield a new path.
For the future, the challenges he face will eventually be overcome. There appears to be travel in his future as well as a happy
For the future, the challenges he faces will eventually be overcome. There appears to be travel in his future as well as a happy return of family.
Long Forecast
In reading the consultant’s tea leaves at the bottom of the cup, there was a bird, again indicating travel – this one is good luck in the direction he flies.
The small tea leaves are forming a line, thus another indicator of a journey. The letter “S” was near the bird, so the travel could have something to do with someone whose name begins with an S.

Sweet Nelle’s Gone Rogue…And Carly’s Life Will Never Be The Same
Alleged do-gooder Nelle has suddenly gone rogue and looks bent on destroying Sonny and Carly’s lives on General Hospital.
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) started out sugary sweet and Carly quickly ended up hiring her as her personal assistant and Avery’s part-time nanny. Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) thought there was something off about her from the get go and apparently, she was right. Out of nowhere, Nelle drugged Sonny, undressed him, and put him to bed. She then stripped down and crawled in next to him. The next morning, she made him believe they’d had sex. Nearly 5,000 fans weighed in with their thoughts about this twisted storyline.
Wrap It Up
Messing with Mr. and Mrs. Corinthos while they’re mourning Morgan’s death is deplorable to 83% of fans. You want this plot to end, and you want Nelle caught as quickly as possible. Poor Sonny (Maurice Benard) doesn’t deserve to be played like this, and for that matter, neither does Carly (Laura Wright). They’ve both been nothing but good to Nelle since she arrived in Port Charles.
Continue On
A small 10% of fans are enjoying this perverse plot and want to see where it leads. You’re particularly interested in finding out what’s driving the duplicitous Nelle. She obviously has a major ax to grind with Carly, or so you think, but you haven’t a clue what it could be. You find it all intriguing and can’t wait to see what happens next.
Either, Or
The remaining 7% of you realize this is a soap opera, so drama, revenge, and payback are all part of the drill. You’re fine with the story continuing on for a while and hope it has some really good twists and turns. But, if it would all come to a rapid climax and wrap up quickly, you’d be fine with that, too.

Elsewhere, Travis decides breaking Victoria’s heart is redeemable and makes a promise to Abby (of all people) that he will make things right.
These are two of the interesting storylines featured in the upcoming episode. See what else happens on Monday!

“Oh, Robin I See You”–Remembering Stone’s GH Death Two Decades Later
Longtime General Hospital fans will never forget one of the saddest stories in GH history that lead to one of its longest story arcs. Young Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) learned he was HIV positive after already having unprotected sex with Robin Scorpio (a previous HIV test was negative) and his disease quickly progressed.
By the time Stone laid on his death bed, Robin (Kimberly McCullough) knew she was HIV positive (a condition she’s lived with ever since but keeps it managed with the right meds) and Stone had lost his eyesight.
During their final scenes together, Robin and Stone proclaimed their love through tears and as Robin soon walked across the room, her image became clear. “I see you,” he cried out before he took his last breath, leaving us all breathless with emotion as Robin said goodbye to the boy she loved.
Relive this groundbreaking story in the video below and see why Robin and Stone will always be a legendary PC couple.
