Days of Our Lives

Recaps

Steve and Marlena return to Salem, and Kayla and Shawn learn Bo is dying. Kayla has the unpleasant task of sharing absolutely devastating news with Marlena and Steve. In his time of need, Shawn turns to Jada. Johnny finds himself seeking out professional help. It’s just about prom season. Will Sophia accept?

Johnny breaks Chanel’s heart, Doug’s in trouble again, and Tate and Sophia are back at square one. Maggie may be sweet and kind… but she’s about to rip Philip a new one! Doug finds himself in hot water… which, honestly, is something he should be used to at this point! Holly sees something transpire between Tate and Sophia that she’ll probably wish she could unsee! Xander takes his wife into his confidence. (Which is way better than the alternative… keeping her in the dark and/or lying?)

Spinning back to the past, Alison Sweeney sets the ‘record’ straight.

Kayla begs for help, Paulina gives Chanel a pep talk, and EJ finally sees what’s on Rafe’s hidden camera. When Chanel needs a push, her mom is there to provide it! EJ hopes to have a talk with son Johnny, but will the younger man be receptive? Cat shares something shocking with Chad. Leo launches a pretty harsh accusation in Gabi’s direction! Will the desperate plea made by Kayla have the desired result?

Kayla and Stephanie discuss a secret. Will they remember to close the door first? Shawn hopes that Steve will be able to help him out. Anybody else feel as if nothing good can come of Alex and Xander putting their heads together? Gabi and Philip are on opposite sides of an argument. Leo has a suggestion he hopes Javi will be open to considering.

Sarah offers Xander advice. Tate goes off on Johnny! Sophia has had about as much of her mom as she can take. Marlena tries offering advice to a troubled Belle, while EJ is busy sending Rita off with a new assignment!

Days of Our Lives newcomer, Alice Halsey, is Little House on the Prairie’s next Laura Ingalls.

Brick saves Sonny’s life, and Sonny gets a special visitor. The good news: Sonny survived his surgery. The bad? He ain’t out of the woods yet, as danger is closing in. Who sent Alexis a gift… and is it one she’ll appreciate? Trina and Kai have a night on the town. When Gio needs help, he knows that Emma’s the right person to turn to. The Davis sisters don’t often see things the same way, but both are demanding answers today!

Kirsten Storms hits the road with a former co-star, who refused to stop at a local fire department!

A drugged Drew does body shots off a hooker at The Savoy. What’s got Anna’s hackles up? Lucas hasn’t exactly been lucky in love, but things seem to be looking up as he and Marcus grow closer. Just how much of a shock is Gio in for when Tracy drops a bomb on him? Something tells us Portia may not like the Curtis/Jordan scene she walks in on. Speaking of scenes, Drew is about to make one.

“Bye, 54”: Lisa LoCicero looks back in gratitude at ‘some things that didn’t suck.’

Willow finds Drew out cold in bed with a prostitute! When Willow comes home from Germany, she’s not going to be thrilled by what “welcomes” her back. Nina is definitely having some major second thoughts. Brennan has a theory, and he’s willing to share it. Lulu is on the receiving end of Alexis’s venting. Laura and Curtis compare notes.

Finola Hughes shares a blast from the past that leaves a castmate “obsessed!”

Drew pleads his case, Kai goes in for surgery, and Joss plans a betrayal. Brook Lynn has a heartfelt conversation with Tracy. Drew has some ‘splainin’ to do, but will anyone listen when he pleads his case? Laura suggests that Lulu proceed with caution, while Chase goes to Dante with a request.  Does Josslyn’s new plan have to do with her undercover work?

Michael goes behind Victor’s back, and Billy confides in Jack about Phyllis. Michael had to know that a big part of working for Victor was going to be winding up on the receiving end of ultimatums. But the lawyer doesn’t have to like it — and won’t when the latest one is handed down! Lily plays nicely with Holden. Which sounds to us an awful lot like playing with fire, given what a charmer the Genoa City newcomer is?

Shemar Moore makes a spectacular show of his love for his baby girl.

Enjoy the momentary peace between John’s sons while it lasts: Jack gives Billy a vote of confidence.

Restless Rant! Young & Restless’ [Spoiler] is marked for death! Plus, can the soap turn things around for May Sweeps? Find out what’s ahead.

Billy fires Phyllis, and Audra talks Sally into making a major change. Billy and Phyllis’ partnership takes an unexpected turn. OK, but will it be unexpected to him, her… or both of them?  Mariah is painfully aware that honesty is the best policy, yet she nonetheless keeps a secret from Tessa. Dunno if they’ll be successful when Audra schemes with Sally, but they should at least be a whole lotta fun.

Even though they are often scary, Elizabeth Hendrickson is ‘getting excited for new beginnings.’

Sally surprises Billy, Chelsea seeks Lauren’s advice, and concern grows over Cole’s health. Victor can huff and puff all he likes, but if there’s one person who refuses to toe his line, it’s Nikki… which makes her the perfect individual to take matters into her own hands to help Claire and Kyle. Victoria pushes Cole to make a tough decision. As if there are any easy ones while involved with a Newman! Lauren receives unexpected news. Something tells us she’s getting pretty damn sick of Victor saying jump and Michael doing exactly that.

Her life in pictures: As the older daughter of Melissa Ordway and Justin Gaston turns 9, look back at the sweet girl who loves “people, confetti, and parties” more than anyone.

Summer’s world is rocked, Cole’s rushed to the hospital, and Lauren warns Michael. Summer deals with a professional crisis… which may actually wind up being a trickier issue for someone else.

Fire Phyllis, will ya? She’ll have something to say about that, and today she does as she checks Billy. But is she really headed for a dust-up or a meltdown?

Damian makes amends to Lily, but will it be enough? She’s a tough cookie to crumble!

Restless Rant! Mariah’s horrible secret triggers a *new* scandal! Plus, Phyllis goes nuclear, and the trouble with Sally and Chelsea’s decisions.

Tuesday, May 6:

Perhaps having learned at last that honesty is the best policy, Diane makes a confession to Jack.

As her worries about Cole continue to grow, Victoria confides in Nick.

Is the honeymoon over for “Teriah”? Tessa is troubled by Mariah’s behavior.

Wednesday, May 7:

Welp, that’s one way to welcome Adam’s past and present significant other to the family: Victor challenges Chelsea’s loyalty.

Jack demands that Billy apologize to Diane. Something tells us that Jack might as well demand that rain fall up, not down, or dogs say meow instead of woof.

Lily has never been one to shy away from taking a risk, and today, she makes a shocking business deal.

Thursday, May 8:

You’d think that ol’ Billy Boy’s nerves would all be numb by now. But no, Victor manages to strike a nerve with his longtime nemesis.

Devon finds himself in a tough position with his family. Right after Lily has made “a shocking business deal.” Coincidence? Ha.

Holden gives Damian a warning.

Friday, May 9:

Victor, ensuring that he will once again win the Meanest Guy in Genoa City Award, hits Kyle where it hurts.

Nikki gives granddaughter Claire a reality check.

Chelsea struggles working with Adam. Hey, nobody said that it would be easy!

Katie sees Daphne and Carter kiss, and Eric tells Steffy he was behind Brooke wearing the showstopper. Fuel gets thrown on the fire when Steffy and Taylor learn who the showstopper was truly meant for. Katie catches a glimpse of Daphne kissing Carter. And although he’s 100% single, this is gonna be an issue for the busybody!

Katie overhears Daphne and Zende, and Ridge confronts Eric. Ridge confronts Eric over the stunt he pulled with Brooke. What we wanna know is how Eric could do that to Taylor, with whom he was once seriously involved? Katie seems to think that being head of PR means sticking her nose in everybody’s business. Today, she demands the truth from Daphne after having eavesdropped on her and Zende. (Katie needs a new love interest, stat.)

Katie accuses Daphne of playing Carter, and Brooke moves in for the kill with Ridge. Cue the flashbacks as Ridge is torn by Eric’s words and Brooke’s actions. Maybe he wouldn’t be in this mess if he’d just waited three whole seconds before jumping into bed with Taylor. Daphne doesn’t stand a chance when Katie fiercely protects Carter. But why? Doesn’t Daphne know how to say “Butt out, lady!” in several languages?

Baffling! A big move leaves Hope on high alert… and rethinking her romantic options!

Liam comes face-to-face with Hope, and Finn comforts a distraught Steffy. Hope gets suspicious of Liam’s new living arrangement. Little does she suspect that what she should be worried about is how long he’ll be living, period? Will congratulates Electra on her newfound happiness and success. Which can only mean that Luna and Remy will be teaming up to separate them in three, two…

Hope reaches out to Carter after an emotional visit with Liam. Ordinarily, Liam would jump at the chance to reunite with one of his ex-wives. But with his days being numbered, he instead encourages Hope to give Carter another chance.

Next Week

Wait, wait, and wait. So all it took for Steffy and Hope to get on the same page about something, anything, was for Liam to develop an inoperable brain tumor? If he’d known that, he might have done it years ago! Anyway, his condition is the talk of the town. Not only does it bring about a rare detente between his former wives, but leads to a conversation between Liam and dad Bill that promises to have lasting ramifications.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about the Dupree clan, they know how to circle the wagons in the wake of a scandal. (Right, Dani?) But can they recover from this week’s drama?

Eva finds herself in a difficult spot as Leslie’s actions leave the younger woman trying to make amends for her role in what went down.

Kat is about to see something that could change her life. And what with this being a soap opera, we’re willing to bet it won’t be a change for the better!
