Days of our Lives’ Marci Miller Says Abigail ‘Decimated’ By Gwen News

All bets are off on a truce between Days of our Lives’ Abigail and her wicked sister, when Gwen reveals she’s pregnant with Chad’s baby. Actress Marci Miller chatted with Soap Hub about how her character reacts to the heartbreaking situation.

Marci Miller Previews Story

“Every time Abigail thinks she’s got the whole story, and she’s maybe on the verge of getting a handle on it, she gets pummeled by something else,” says Marci Miller (Abigail), referring to Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) string of manipulations and blockbuster baby announcement. “It’s almost the straw that breaks the camel’s back.”

The Shocking Truth
Ironically, Abigail learns Gwen’s big secret right after Chad (Billy Flynn) urges her to make peace with her sister. A few short hours later, Abigail accidentally overhears Gwen confiding that she’s expecting to their father, Jack (Matthew Ashford). Needless to say, it hits Abigail hard, and she absolutely reels.

“There’s the pregnancy news, but it’s uncertain what exactly is going to be. There are options,” points out Miller.

Pain and Fury
Namely, is Gwen going to keep her unborn child or have an abortion? “What’s going to happen and how that plays out is going to affect Abigail,” notes Miller. “It’s so heart-wrenching for Abigail because she doesn’t deserve it. She doesn’t deserve one piece of it, but here she is.”

Heartbreak and pain aren’t the only emotions Abigail is feeling. She’s also angry as hell. “And what does vengeance look like? What does revenge look like? And does that make you feel any better?” asks Miller. “I don’t know. Abigail has got a lot of things to think about, but at that moment, she’s really decimated.”

Fueled by Hate
And it only intensifies the hostility between Abigail and Gwen. “The hatred and the rage that Abigail starts to feel becomes so big that she can’t even hold it anymore,” admits Miller. “She starts to lean into grief, the grieving, the loss… She’s been trying to put up a fight and stay in the fight and throw punches back, but in these moments, she starts to realize that she’s losing. She’s giving it all she has, but this woman is winning, and there’s nothing she can do about it.”

“Chabby” Future
How does it affect the possibility of a reconciliation between Abigail and Chad? “It’s still ebbs and flows,” summarizes Miller. “Abigail has moments where she says, ‘Yes. I’ll go to therapy.’ But she can’t look at Chad and not see what he’s done. Then for there to potentially be a baby… Abigail knows who Chad is as a person and as a man. He’s not going to just abandon a child that’s his, regardless of how it was conceived.

“That’s going to impact her life,” continues Miller. “Can she really sit by and watch her husband raise a child with her half-sister who tried to ruin her life? [This revelation] is not necessarily something that brings Chad and Abigail together. It just raises more question marks. It elongates the distance between them a little bit. It’s like, OK. We thought we were a quarter of a mile from each other. Now, this happens and we’re a mile and a quarter from each other.”

Days of Our Lives’ Lamon Archey Celebrates His Birthday

On Days of Our Lives, top cop Eli Grant is back at the Salem PD alongside his lady love, Lani Price, and they are raising their twins. Off-screen, actor Lamon Archey is celebrating a major milestone.

Happy Birthday, Lamon Archey!

That’s because he was born on April 9, 1981, in Daly City, California, which means that this talented actor is turning 40 years old today! Following stints as both a carpenter and an emergency medical technician, Archey found himself “discovered” by a modeling scout while attending a job fair.

As his portfolio grew, Archey gained a manager who insisted that he enroll in acting classes. After two years of no success, Archey became disillusioned and had just about decided to give up when the opportunity to appear on Days of Our Lives in an “under five” role arose.

In December 2012, he joined the cast of CBS’ The Young and the Restless in the role of Mason Wilder. After two years, Archey left to pursue other avenues. In 2016, he was selected to play Eli Grant a contract character on DAYS.

Archey’s other credit included guest appearances on episodes of Diary of a Champion, Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life, Roadies and 2 Broke Girls. He also had roles in two television films – Dope Boys (which he narrated) and Can’t Buy My Love – as well as the feature The Woman in the Red Dress.

Archey has been engaged since 2010 with model and actress Mercedes Cornett, whom he met at a fashion show 2003. Together they share a son Caden (born July 9, 2009) and a daughter Gaia (born May 29, 2012). Archey also has another son Machiah from a previous relationship.

Soap Hub would like to wish Lamon Archey a very happy birthday and you can too by clicking on the Twitter link below.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Shocks, Blackmail, And Oh Baby

The Days of our Lives spoilers for April 12-16, 2021, tease Sami and Lucas falling victim to a blackmailer, Gwen cooking a bun in her oven, and so much more.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Highlight

Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas’s (Bryan Dattilo) one-night stand comes back to bite them thanks to Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) insistence that she’ll squeal to E.J. unless the duo assists her in making sure that Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) won’t be able to get her claws into Brady (Eric Martsolf).

To that end, Sami demands that Lucas court Miss Lane, all in the hopes of diverting her attention away from her former husband. But Lucas isn’t exactly interested. Sure, he enjoyed dating Chloe back in the day, but he doesn’t want to repeat the experience.

The Motherload

Gwen (Emily O’Brien) reveals to Jack (Matthew Ashford) that she’s pregnant with Chad’s (Billy Flynn) baby – and it’s a revelation that’s overheard by Abigail (Marci Miller) who’d returned to the house with the intention of accepting her sister’s apology and agreeing to a truce.

Abby immediately assumes that Gwen will have an abortion, and she even offers to spirit her to the clinic…but Gwen debates her options. And the more she ponders, the more she becomes enamored with the idea of raising the child on her own.

Odds and Ends

In other Salem news, Claire (Isabel Durant) gives Jan (Heather Lindell) a piece of her mind, Theo (Cameron Johnson) admits to still having feelings for Ciara (Victoria Konefal), and Jake (Brandon Barash) becomes jealous over Philip’s (Jay Kenneth Johnson) date with Gabi (Camila Banus).

Meanwhile, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) admits her feelings for Brady (Eric Martsolf), John (Drake Hogestyn) persuades Marlena (Deidre Hall) to hypnotize him, and Paulina (Jackée Harry) and Eli (Lamon Archey) react to the news that Chanel (Precious Way) is now Mrs. Xander Kiriakis.

Finally, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) prepares to take drastic action to trigger his wife’s memory, and Rafe (Galen Gering) stumbles upon a new murder suspect.

Days of our Lives Weekly Update: Jealousy, Blackmail, and Huge Mistakes

Days of our Lives spoilers weekly update for April 12 – 16, 2021 feature a peace treaty, a truth coming to light, and drastic times call for drastic measures.

Days of our Lives Week Ahead

You can’t say Gwen (Emily O’Brien) and Abigail (Marci Miller) didn’t try to come to good terms with each other. There was a slight hiccup in the peace meetings when Gwen threw up (seemingly on cue) all over Abby, after being asked if the death of Laura (Jaime Lyn Bauer) was in fact a horrible accident. Now the two squabbling sisters are being forced to revisit the idea of a truce when Chad (Billy Flynn) urges Abigail to make the first move and reach back out to Gwen.

Ironically, Abigail will learn Gwen’s big secret right after Chad makes his plea. So it’s back to the drawing board on ways to make this relationship work out. Tensions will rise and you won’t want to miss the shocking scenes that unfold.

Be prepared for “Susan” (Stacy Haiduk) to come off the hinges when she finds out what goes down between Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady (Eric Martsolf). The former lovers may just reignite their flame when Chloe admits she still has feelings for Brady.

This all comes out after Nicole (Arianne Zucker) plays Cupid for the two and gives them a lovely evening together. With a lengthy prison sentence hanging over Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) head, will Brady start to consider the possibility of hooking up with his ex?

Check hypnotization off of the list of ways to get Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) memory back. Even though Marlena (Deidre Hall) tried her best to gently ease the past back into Ciara’s mind, the plan went awry and Ciara only remembered the worst parts of those times.

Now Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is getting desperate and prepares to take drastic action to trigger his wife’s memory of their love. Just how will he do it? Set up a scenario in which he gets to play hero to her? Kidnap her and keep her hostage until she comes around to loving him again? Inject her with a memory serum vaccine? Ben will stop at nothing if it means getting back his beloved bride.

Days of our Lives Weekly Recap

Ciara began hypnosis sessions with Marlena in hopes of regaining some memories. She did, but the wrong ones. She remembered her near fiery death at the cabin. She laid into Claire (Isabel Durant) and banished Ben from her presence. There was no room in her life for murderers and attempted murderers.

Jack (Matthew Ashford) tried to get his daughters to make peace. It almost worked, but Gwen became violently ill all over Abby. The latter took off in a huff, leaving Jack to console Gwen. It was not the random flu, though. Gwen admitted she thought she was pregnant.

Nicole threatened to tell Rafe (Galen Gering) about Tripp (Lucas Adams), which prompted Ava (Tamara Braun) to confess her role that night of Charlie’s (Mike Manning) death. She admitted to Rafe that she was at the apartment and all that transpired. Rafe was kind until he realized there was more to her story.

Days of our Lives Recaps: Dark Secrets and Glory Days

The Days of our Lives recaps for April 5-9, 2021, features a dark secret outed, two murder suspects cleared, and former spouses recreating their glory days.

Days of our Lives Recaps Highlight

After much prodding, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) agreed to undergo hypnosis with Marlena (Deidre Hall). But rather than stoke Ciara’s memories of her life with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), the session resulted in her remembering the fire that nearly claimed her life.

Claire (Isabel Durant) eventually confessed to setting not only the initial blaze but also attempting to finish the jobs months later. In the aftermath of the revelations, Ciara insisted that she would never again attempt to relive her past.

Elimination Round

Thanks in large part to Gabi’s (Camila Banus) casually hurled accusations, Ava (Tamara Braun) came clean to Rafe (Galen Gering) about her and Tripp’s (Lucas Adams) whereabouts the night that Charlie (Mike Manning) died.

Mother and son both denied actually firing the fatal shot that ended the disreputable rogue’s life, and the entire exercise resulted in Rafe realizing that he was firmly back at square on. Charlie’s killer is still out there.

Just Like Old Times

Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) paid Sami (Alison Sweeney) a late-night visit and wound up serving as his exes sounding board. In the aftermath of lamenting her new normal with E.J., Sami pulled Lucas in for a series of reciprocated kisses.

Misery Loves Company

Xander (Paul Telfer) continued to drown his sorrows and earn rebukes from restaurant owners. He made the acquaintance of Chanel Dupree (Precious Way), who quickly acquainted herself with the contents of her date’s casually shared wallet.

Baby Blues

At Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) urging, Abigail (Marci Miller) agreed to a sit down with her supposedly contrite sister and consider putting the kibosh on their long-standing rivalry.

But before she’d entertain the notion of a truce, Abby insisted that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) look her in the face and swear that Laura’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) death had been an accident.

Instead of honoring the request, Gwen proceeded to vomit all over Abby’s lower half. Later, Gwen confided in Jack that the incident was most likely due to the fact that she’s pregnant!

A Deal With The Devil

Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) awoke from her coma and began negotiating a quid-pro-quo arrangement with Belle (Martha Madison). She’ll forego pressing attempted murder charges against John (Drake Hogestyn), but Belle must abandon her plans to have Jan arrested for kidnapping her.

John insisted that he be held accountable for his actions – but Belle disregarded his stance, and agreed Jan’s terms.
