Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Plotting and Planning in Salem

Brand-new Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 3-7 promise a heart-pounding week as Salem citizens deal with the fallout of the shootout and try to stop the Terrible Trio once and for all. The Softer Side of Evil Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) has just about had it and breaks down in Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) arms when they can’t find Joey. Later in the week, they put their heads together with John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) and flashback to their past with Orpheus. They’re trying to figure out how his mind works so they can finally catch the madman. Meanwhile, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) shows his softer side and opens up to Joey about his family and loss. By the end of week, Salemites prepare to meet the villainous demands. Hope’s Nightmare Hope (Kristian Alfonso) ends up meeting Aiden’s demands, devastating Rafe (Galen Gering) when she breaks things off with him. Rafe isn’t buying her act and does his best to get her back. Andre (Thaao Penghlis) also isn’t buying what Aiden is selling and wonders what else might be going on. FOCUS! However, these top cops should really focus on the madmen in Salem. Orpheus, Xander, and Clyde bond some more as they discuss their lives. Marlena has Kate help her with Clyde’s psychological profile, while Clyde (James Read) tells his new buddies he just wants to make things up to his son… Teen Trouble! Theo (Kyler Pettis) becomes another victim of the villains but not physically. He can barely handle what happened to Abe (James Reynolds) and disappears on a mission. This scares the heck out of Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), especially when he won’t return her texts. What Did Deimos Do Now? Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) still can’t believe the results of her paternity test and tells Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) goodbye. She and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) discuss things and Nicole knows Chloe is hiding something. She then confronts Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) about his shady behavior. Business Proposal Andre (Thaao Penghlis) is finally in a position to speak with Chad (Billy Flynn), probably thanks to Kate (Lauren Koslow). Now that she’s working for Chad, Andre asked for her help in approaching Chad. Understanding business the way he does, he’s able to see the writing on the wall and pitches the idea of taking advantage of the Kiriakis blunder. Andre believes now is the time to move in on their business. Will Chad heed his advice, and will they work together to make it happen? Clean-up Committee While the Terrible Trio has done a lot to put the town on edge, the reverse has happened for one family. The Kiriakis clan has been pulling together, even if they’ve made a few mistakes in the process. Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), Justin, Brady (Eric Martsolf), Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) try to mitigate the fallout from the failed raid. They know their company is now vulnerable because of it, and they have to figure out a way to stem the damage. Little do they know, more trouble for them is brewing elsewhere in town. Meddling Ex Justin has other things on his mind besides his family’s company imploding. Justin (Wally Kurth), despite not being married nor involved with his ex-wife, demands Adrienne move out of the DiMera mansion. We don’t know how Adrienne (Judi Evans) responds, but we can’t imagine she will take being ordered around by her spoiled ex, especially since she’s engaged to another man. Torn Apart Ever since Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) recorded Hope (Kristian Alfonso) talking to Rafe (Galen Gering) about killing Stefano, he’s been plotting the best way to use it to his advantage. He’s been rolling out his plan in pieces, first letting Hope know that he knew the truth, and then letting her know he wants her to be with him in exchange for her freedom – along with Rafe and Roman’s (Josh Taylor). Spoilers reveal that Hope delivers upsetting news to Rafe. Will he be crushed to lose Hope, or will he have an idea on how to outsmart Aiden? Memory Lane Part I Salem is still trying to pick up the pieces left behind from the Terrible Trio’s rampage. They’re still at large and someone needs to stop them. John (Drake Hogestyn), Marlena (Deidre Hall), Steve (Stephen Nichols), and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) put their heads together. They share memories of their past encounters with Orpheus as they try to figure out how to take him down. Will they be able to do it? Memory Lane Part II As his parents try to figure out the best way to stop his tormentor and free him, Joey (James Lastovic) is still stuck with Orpheus (George DelHoyo). While he’s relieved that Claire escaped, he tries to remain strong until his father finds a way to rescue him. In the meantime, Orpheus opens up to Joey about his losses, which were mostly caused by Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). After all, it was Roman (not John) who shot Orpheus’s wife – an act that led him down this dark path of revenge in the first place. Trouble’s Brewing Theo (Kyler Pettis) hasn’t been doing well since the whole siege began but it got exponentially worse when his father was shot. He has been devastated for Abe, and no one’s words seem to be helping. Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) are worried when they later can’t find their friend.
