Upcoming The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, September 5 promise a day of panic, mourning, and the loss of a promising future.
Hiding in Plain Sight!
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) knows her freedom is on the line and does her best to hide from the cops. The secret penthouse hallway provides a bit of relief, but she’s running out of time. The police could show up at any moment to raid the place searching for her and Connor. She hopes and prays she and her son can stay safe until she finds a way to turn herself in without losing Connor in the process.
While in hiding dark, thoughts creep into her mind. She’s sure Victor (Eric Braeden) is the person responsible for Adam’s (Justin Hartley) death and plans to make him pay. She wants him to suffer the same fate as her husband, and she starts to plot his death.
A Father’s Worst Fear!
Meanwhile, Victor comes face to face with the woman who killed his son. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) only has mere seconds to explain what happened before he takes her out. She’s got quite the tale to tell The Mustache. Shock overwhelms him when he learns everything that went down before the tragic explosion.
Reunions Aren’t For Everyone!
Across town, Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Lucinda (Nichelle Nichols) continue to reconnect. Now that Neil understands what went wrong all those years ago, he wants to start new with his mother. He wants her to become a big part of the family, but Lucinda isn’t sure she’s up for being the center of attention quite yet. She needs more time to get to know her son first.
