Meet Cassandra Pierce Played By Soap Vet Jessica Tuck

Actress Jessica Tuck made magic on One Life to Live as Megan Gordon, Viki’s daughter, when she was paired with heartthrob Joe Lando. And as Chad DiMera's (Billy Flynn) mother on DOOL.   Now the popular actress is bring her act to General Hospital (GH) in a brand new role!

The show announced the news on Twitter (see the tweet below), and according to Soaps In Depth she’ll be playing the role of Anna’s (Finola Hughes) current project, Cassandra Pierce.
This is the same woman she needs Finn’s (Michael Easton) help in manipulating, because she is supposedly a hypochondriac jewel fence and let’s face it — he’s a hot doctor whose arm is unfortunately (or fortunately) easy for Anna to twist to get his help.

Tuck told In Depth that it was a homecoming of sorts, working with GH executive producer, Frank Valentini. “It always feels like coming home. Especially in this case because executive producer Frank Valentini and I basically started together.”

It turns out he was a production assistant when she first started on OLTL back in 1989. Tuck starts in the recurring role tomorrow, and for now, it seems like the part is open-ended — which is great news for fans.

Two Jasons and Now Two CARLYS??? Tamara Braun Back At GH???

And we thought we were seeing a whole lotta double over at Days of Our Lives (DOOL) these days, but General Hospital (GH) may be taking it to a whole new level.

We just saw Steve Burton on our GH screens for the first time in five years today giving us two Jasons (or one Jason and someone else), but now we might see two CARLYS? WHAT?

According to Daytime Confidential, Tamara Braun is extremely close to inking a deal with the soap. As fans will remember, Braun played the second Carly after Sarah Brown left the soap.

Brown did eventually return to GH as a whole new character, Claudia Zacchara, and it looks like Braun will do the same if she and the show can work something out. DC reports that Braun will play someone involved with the Tale of Two Jasons story, so considering Carly and Jason’s history, this can get very interesting indeed.

Braun was last seen in the soap world on DAYS as Ava Vitali in 2016.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers (YR): Kevin’s Back And The Reason Will Shock You!

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal the return of a massive fan favorite. The Genoa City bad-boy-turned-good is back, and you’ll never guess what he’s up to now.

Homeward Bound
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) owes everything about his new life to Victor. Not only did the Newman powerhouse help he and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) escape, but he gave her a new identity and hope for a better future.

Kevin and Chloe were just finally starting to breathe a sigh of relief and settling into their new life. It’s hard being away from all their friends and family, but it’s worth it to keep Chloe out of prison and with him and Bella.

Minion Alert!
Unfortunately, getting a hand up from Victor (Eric Braeden) is never a free ride. He’s called in a favor that has Kevin and Bella rushing back to town. Victor’s not taking no for an answer, and Kevin knows better than to try to run and hide.

Kevin knows working with Victor means getting down and dirty and someone’s about to get hurt.

It’s not even shocking when he learns The Mustache is going after his own son, and Kevin simply braces himself to find out what Victor’s beef is with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and what the plan is next.

Going To The Extreme?
Kevin is down to do pretty much anything as long as it means Chloe stays safe. He’ll go to the ends of the earth for that woman, even if it means playing dirty with a former friend to keep his alliance with the most powerful man in the land on an even keel.

General Hospital Spoilers (GH): Suddenly Jason Seems So ‘Different’…

General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Thursday, September 21 promise a revealing day in and out of Port Charles. You won’t want to miss a moment of this dramatic episode.

Suddenly, He Doesn’t Seem Like Jason
Amazingly, Sam (Kelly Monaco) seems to think that things have been different with Jason since he returned from the ‘dead’ although he always seemed familiar to her even when he was Jake Doe and tells this to Sonny (Maurice Benard).

Is this kinda like the way Carly (Laura Wright) now admits everything has been different with this Jason although they felt a friend connection from the time he was Jake Doe, as well? Hmmm…

But, Someone Else Does
While Sam is confessing, Ava (Maura West) is wondering why a very agitated Patient 6 needs to be controlled.

Ava also gets some positive news, and we assume it’s about her face (although we’d like to see Patient 6’s face).

Lulu’s Discovery
Speaking of Ava, back in Port Charles, Lulu (Emme Rylan) learns what happened between Ava and Valentin and what he convinced her to do.

However, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) stays two steps ahead of everyone as we have to wonder if he sent Ava where she is so she’d definitely get to know Patient 6.

Should Valerie Be Man Landers?
On a whole other story front, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) continues to stay high and mighty about what Curtis (Donnell Turner) can and cannot do, while TJ (Tequan Richmond) calls her out.

Meanwhile, Curtis discusses his relationship problems with Valerie (Brytni Sarpy), who gives him some advice because that is all she seems to do these days.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers (YR): The Kids Aren’t All Right

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, September 21 are pretty kid-centric, as Mattie throws a fit more worthy of a kid half her age, Juliet challenges Cane’s true feelings for their child, and Noah, Tessa, and Mariah are hurled head-first into adulthood.

Lay Off My Mommy!
Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) has been in a crappy mood ever since Cane (Daniel Goddard) told her she couldn’t hang out — and make out — with Reed (Tristan Lake Lebeau) anymore, and mom Lily (Christel Khalil) didn’t overrule him.

So Mattie decides to take her frustrations out on Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood), by snidely telling him he should be the one out having dinner with her mom, since, obviously, that’s what she really wants.
Mattie is acting like a complete pill, but let’s cut her some slack. Growing up is hard on everyone. And Mattie was still in preschool less than six months ago.

No wonder she’s acting like a toddler — she kind of technically is one!

The Next Generation
Turned out by Lily, Mattie, and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), Cane takes solace where he can get it, by having some takeout with Juliet (Laur Allen).

But the poor lying adulterer just can’t get a break, when now his baby mama wants to know if Cane will ever love their child the way he does Mattie and Charlie.

Well, if those brats keep acting up… Sure, you move to the top of the pyramid!

Helloooo, Music Promoter
Wayne Knight (that’s Seinfeld’s Newman to sitcom loving 1990s kids, and the guy who stole the Jurrasic dinosaur embryos to geeky ones) guest-stars as a music promoter friend of Noah’s (Robert Adamson) who comes to pass judgment on Tessa’s (Cait Fairabanks) singing.

What does this mean for the future of Noah and Tessa’s relationship? Or Tessa and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) for that matter?

Is Ava Patient 6’s Savior on General Hospital (GH)?

Mafia princess and cold-blooded killer Ava Jerome’s been trying to turn over a new leaf since she played with fire and got burned–and since she fell for a priest on General Hospital (GH).

And, she may have just found the person to help her do it in the form of a masked man known as Patient 6–who just happens to have Jason Morgan’s eyes. (In reality, the other Jason should also have Jason Morgan’s eyes because nobody changed his eyes in surgery.)

GH has left us confused as to whether this man is really Jason or not, as it’s also dropped quite a few Nikolas hints our way, and Nikolas was the last man Ava (Maura West) tried changing for.

Considering how she was falling for Nikolas before he was shot and then fell from a window, it would make sense that she’s drawn to this masked man if he is indeed Nikolas, but he could be Jason–or someone else.

However, right now Ava is thinking about Griffin (Matt Cohen), and he is thinking about her and how he’d jump on a plane and rescue her if he just knew where she is, according to the October 2 issue of Soap Opera Digest.

Over in Russia, Ava also feels the need to come to someone’s rescue–namely Patient 6 (Steve Burton). She learns he’s being held against his will and feels she has to somehow be his savior–but if she breaks the rules, will she get a new face?

Of course, she also wonders what kind of place is this that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) sent her to with a masked man kept there who doesn’t want to be there. Will Ava do the right thing next week and help both of them make a run for it–or will the desire for a new face supersede all sense?

Note To General Hospital: Please Stop Forcing ‘Melle’ Down Our Throats

When a couple isn’t working, a soap usually knows when to cut its losses, and for about a year now, ‘Melle’ has not worked on General Hospital (GH). But the soap wants them to work so bad, they feature them several times a week while we take a nap.

It was obvious from her first scene that GH wanted Michael and Nelle together–so much so that they soon killed Michael’s fiancée, Sabrina, and we liked them together. Fans were outraged, but nobody seemed to care. The soap plodded on with Michael and Nelle just as planned, and we all snored.
And we’re still snoring. Every time they’re onscreen. We have no idea why these two have to be a couple when they have always seemed more like brother and sister, and we could have bought it if Nelle turned out to be Carly’s long-lost kid.

It would have also made sense that she was a kidney match for Josslyn because they would have been blood related–fixing that strange plot twist in one fell swoop.

Now–forget it. GH jumped that shark when Michael and Nelle slept together. There’s no going back and making her related to Carly because that would be downright ick. So, Michael and Nelle are forced down our throats all week long despite much fan protest.

This problem is not the faults of Chad Duell and Chloe Lanier, two very talented performers who just don’t work onscreen together for so many of us. Both actors and characters would have so much more potential apart than they have together.

Perhaps it’s time to cut your losses with this GH, but it seemed like it was time last year, and still, Melle is with us and we fear this will go on forever. Please. Just make it stop and move on.
