It’s going to be quite the week both in and out of Salem as Eve (Kassie DePaiva) enacts her most diabolical plan ever. Clearly, she never fully recovered from losing her daughter but it might be hard to see your child’s killer walk free and get everything he ever wanted. Will is much more apt to forgive being ‘killed’ but Eve has never been the forgiving kind.
So, she is going to turn Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) back into The Necktie Killer, apparently using the methods used on Chad (Billy Flynn) back in 2015 when he was brainwashed soon after Thomas was born. Is anyone ready for some total weirdness?
We also have some surprising things happening in Salem (Eve is doing her thing to Ben in New York, we learn). Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is much more forgiving than Eve, as well. She decides she wants Xander (Paul Telfer) back despite him lying to her about her baby’s death back in Salem’s version of 2020 where there’s no COVID-19. And when Sarah wants Xander she gets him in a racy scene we never thought we’d see on a soap. WOW!
Then there’s Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey), who we see cannot have an uncomplicated pregnancy. They are given the news that something rare is going on, but they looked more shocked than distraught. Could multiple babies be on the way for this happy pair or is it something to give them more angst than ever?
