Weekly Recaps/Spoilers: February 19-23, 2024

The Young & the Restless

Recap

Here we go again! Buckle up, folks, especially if your last name is Newman because crazy Aunt Jordan is back in action. What’s more, Ashley goes from one confrontation to another, Chance goes all out for Summer, and a one-time super-couple reconnects. Will their history repeat itself?

Victoria learns Nikki went on a bender, and Ashley accuses her family of betrayal. With all the money in the world, and still, Victor and Victoria are at a loss as they discuss how best to help Nikki. What are boyfriends for if not to offer a shoulder to cry on? Billy is there for Chelsea yet again when she needs comfort. This promises to be ugly and then some: Ashley accuses her family of betrayal. Wow! Victor’s next move will make Victoria’s head explode — and maybe yours too! What is he thinking?!?

Audra busts Tucker with Ashley, Nick, and Phyllis to play catch up, and Summer and Chance kiss. Off Monday’s upheaval, Ashley has a heated exchange with Tucker. Chance seems to be recovering nicely from being dumped by Sharon. Now he’s all about romancing Summer. Will sparks fly once more when Nick reconnects with Phyllis? Looking at their past we’re gonna say that the smart money is yes. Hell, yes!

Victor enacts a plan to get Jordan, Adam plays white knight for Sally, and Nikki takes matters into her own hands. Hmm. Just as Victor shares shocking news with Nikki, Claire receives a surprise visitor. Anybody wanna guess that the two are related and, scarier still, related to Jordan? Adam is making all the right moves where he and Sally are concerned these days. His next one? Going out on a limb for her.

Jordan rattles Nikki, Victor throws Adam for a loop, and Ashley gets a painful reminder of the past. Why Phyllis & Nick’s reunion left us angry and going, ‘WTH?!?’ Victor isn’t about to just sit around and wait. Instead, he sounds the alarm and sets his latest plan in motion. Oops. Victor may already be too late, as Jordan has found a new way to target Nikki. If the madwoman keeps it up, she’s gonna drive us to drink! Did someone order a painful reminder of their past? No? Well, too bad, ’cause that’s what’s in store for Ashley.

Seth, Victoria nixes Victor’s plan, and Ashley breaks down. Jordan’s reign of terror must be coming to a head because Victor is so desperate that he goes to Jack and demands answers. Will his longtime nemesis have the Intel that the Black Knight needs? When Billy and Devon engage in a power struggle, we’re betting on Neil’s son. Billy’s list of missteps is just too long for him to be considered a safe bet. (See for yourself here.) Jordan messed with the wrong mama now: Victoria vows to protect Claire at all costs. No way is she gonna lose her daughter twice!

Next Week

No chance goes untaken -- Ashley puts herself at risk, Audra allows herself to be vulnerable, Victor activates Michael, and Phyllis extends an olive branch. Oh, and as for Nikki? This sounds like it’s going to be the week that she learns that things can actually go from bad to worse to much worse.

Restless Rant! Jordan’s ticket into the ranch may not be what — or who — you think! Plus, the downright insulting twist, and much more!

Monday, February 19:

If we were Victor, we’d be concerned about everything from Nikki’s hand-washing to her door-closing. But in particular, it’s her decision-making that has him furrowing his brow with worry.

While Victor’s at it, he might want to carve out some time for fretting over his ex-wife Ashley as well. She’s going to make a choice of the dangerous variety. And speaking of putting oneself at risk…

Perhaps forgetting that it’s one of the quickest ways to catch feelings, Audra lets her guard down with Tucker.

Courtney Hope sends a heartfelt message to ‘the wise soul that’s changed my whole world’.

Tuesday, February 20:

This is why we’re always telling our friends not to text and walk. Today, Nikki falls right into a trap. OK, so texting may have nothing to do with it. But still!

Whether she really is or not, Audra likes to think of herself as always being one step ahead of everyone else. So she isn’t likely to welcome the advice she gets from Nate — especially as it’s unsolicited.

Continuing to make all the right moves where his do-over with Sally is concerned, Adam goes out on a limb for the one who got away… and then came back.

Wednesday, February 21:

Better call a referee, ’cause Jill’s gonna need one when she throws Billy and Devon a curveball.

Abby has a painful reminder about her past. But which part of it? The cheating-on-Chance-with-Devon part? The sleeping-with-Sharon’s-boyfriend-Scotty part? The fling-with-a-surprise-sex-trafficker part? Need we go on? ’Cause we could.

Actually, it’s probably the first option for Abby, seeing as this is about to happen, too.

From the “too little, too late” files, Phyllis gives Danny a peace offering.

Thursday, February 22:

Since apparently not even the almighty Victor Newman’s vast array of security guards can keep Nikki safe, he’s forced to hatch a new plan to protect his better half.

No need to ask, “Won’t someone think of the children?” Adam and Chelsea do exactly that as they put aside their differences in hopes of helping Connor.

Awkward timing considering how close Sally and Adam have become again, but nevertheless, Nick evaluates his feelings for his last girlfriend.

Friday, February 23:

Victor reminds Michael that he’s his go-to guy by going to him with a tricky assignment.

Flip meets flop when Ashley has yet another change of heart. At some point, she needs to start just telling people, “Beats me, I dunno!”

Catching up on her maternal hand-wringing, Victoria worries about Claire having a setback.

The Bold & the Beautiful

Recap

Luna’s horrified to wake up with Zende, and Poppy goes ‘Mama Bear’ on Li. Li climbs atop her high horse again to take Sis Poppy to task for the many, many mistakes she’s made over the years. While Li has a lot of issues where Poppy’s lifestyle is concerned, the truth about Luna’s paternity could serve to confirm every single accusation Li has aimed at her sibling! It’s the morning after Donna and Eric’s wedding… a day we’re pretty sure Luna will never, ever forget. Because despite us begging the show not to, it’s about to take a very disturbing turn.

Luna sobs out her story to Poppy, and Brooke reassures RJ. Zende and Luna discuss how things went down after the wedding. As the final pieces come together, Luna is horrified to realize that her mom’s “special mints” set in motion the events that landed her in Zende’s bed! What exactly are Poppy’s special mints? Is the story realistic? Find out inside. Eric felt somewhat responsible for the anger Zende’s felt in recent weeks. Will the offer the family patriarch makes today help heal those wounds? It looks as if some of our favorite stars faced one heck of a chilly challenge!

Poppy shoves Zende, Hope’s in a romantic mood, and Luna prepares to come clean with R.J. A conversation with Luna and Poppy leaves Zende shocked as the truth hits him like a ton of bricks. Luna finds herself in a no-win situation as she contemplates what to do next.

Molly gets a bit of news regarding her sister that might come as a surprise. Meanwhile, Sam and Dante get an update, Sonny has serious concerns about Dex, and the last person Laura would expect says that he can help Nikolas!

Kevin and Laura decide to adopt Ace, things escalate between Drew and Nina, and Sonny takes Dex for a ride… The decision that Laura and Kevin are about to make is likely to have an impact far beyond their relationship. As they continue to grow closer, Gregory takes Tracy into his confidence. Nina’s ready to take on the world… starting with Drew and Carly. But how will they react upon discovering her latest move? With evidence mounting that the attempt on Sonny’s life was an inside job, he can’t help but eye Dex suspiciously. But if Sonny really wants to know who’s after him… Trina finds it increasingly difficult to deal with the loss of her beloved Spencer.

Sonny accuses Dex of betraying him, Carly realizes Sonny thinks Dex is the traitor, and Gregory and Finn tell Violet about his ALS. Dex is in the kind of position that can only be described as “precarious.” Having done a little math, Carly comes to a realization. Kristina is having Molly and TJ’s baby. So how will Molly feel upon finding out that her surrogate is involved with Blaze? Laura hasn’t been Elizabeth’s mother-in-law for years, but the bond between them remains, as proven when they reconnect today. When Ava gets lonely, she reaches out for a friend. (We’re willing to bet that she’s reaching for a martini with the other hand!)

Carly arrives just in time to save Dex from Sonny, Sonny learns the truth about Dex, and several couples celebrate Valentine’s Day. Uh-oh, protect the barware! Sonny is bubbling over with rage! Meanwhile, Chase and Brook Lynn have a little celebration of their own as they mark a special moment. Sam and Dante find out that Danny is in a bit of trouble.

Michael tries to convince Sonny he still needs Dex, Drew squashes Nina’s attempt to start a rival magazine, and Dante, Anna, and Jordan get word of someone in Pentonville being killed. Dante gets a call  Given that we still have major feels where “Vanna” is concerned, we can’t help hoping that Anna and Valentin do more than simply cross paths. Nina is about to receive a rather intriguing proposition. (Call us crazy, but we think she might want to look at it from all angles before accepting!) As Dante and Jordan receive yet another bit of bad news, Ava goes out of her way to offer Sonny some words of advice. Watch out, world, because Joss is determined… and being her mother’s daughter, that could mean trouble!

Someone is going to be on the wrong end of a warning from Sonny, which is never a good place to be! The return of Jason may require a big move for him and [Spoiler]: “You might be targeted.” Anna, Dante, and Jordan put their heads together to come up with a plan of action. Cyrus tells Laura that he’s got a way to protect Nikolas. But if Cyrus is their only hope, well, heaven help him! Alexis tries to offer Sam words of reassurance. Ava and Josslyn have never been particularly close, so it seems doubtful that the younger woman will want to hear what Trina’s mentor has to say.

Next Week

Curtis makes a confession that leaves Portia’s jaw on the floor.

Sonny and Dante have worked through a lot of issues over the years. So why is the Teflon Don suddenly rebuffing Sam’s beau?

When Valentin tries to offer Nina advice, might old sparks reignite?

When Nina shares something with Carly and Drew, will it only make an already tense situation even worse?

Trina gives Josslyn a pep talk.

Felicia thinks she might be able to help Lucy.

Spinelli’s been spending a whole lot of time with Maxie of late. Might that have something to do with the conversation he and Cody have today?

Thursday, February 22:

As Sonny continues to probe a mystery, he and Selina exchange information.

“Spixie” fans won’t want to miss what happens today…

As Drew’s gotten angrier over the past few weeks, he and Carly have not been seeing eye to eye. Are they soon to be on the outs?

Anna and Dante won’t make much progress if John has anything to say about it.

Sasha has nothing but good things to say about Cody.

Friday, February 23:

Sam finds herself opening up to Elizabeth. (With Steve Burton’s return around the corner, whatcha wanna bet Jason’s name comes up…)

Gregory hopes to make progress with Tracy.

What is it that has T.J. feeling so concerned?

Here’s hoping Sonny won’t regret the very big decision he’s about to make!

Things are definitely heating up for Kristina and Blaze, as they share a romantic evening. Wonder how the singer’s soon-to-arrive mom (who’ll be played by AMC/YR’s Eva La Rue) will react to this relationship?

Days of Our Lives-Peacock

Recap

A fire blazes through the Horton house, Rafe and Jada learn about Ava’s suspicious behavior, and two people come to a realization regarding Clyde — plus, there’s a Valentine’s Day-themed event!

Chad receives a cryptic call as the Horton House burns, Tripp performs CPR on Harris, and Chanel distracts Paulina the night before her surgery. Tripp feels for Harris’s pulse, as the latter lies motionless on the loading dock. Splotches of blood cover his torso and a bandage sticks to his chest. A paramedic crouches next to him. Tripp will need to pull every trick out of his medicine bag to save a life! Meanwhile, Ava and Stefan are put on the spot when they have to face serious questions from Rafe regarding what went down with Harris. (Remember way back in October when the show dropped a massive, spoiler-filled promo? Well, events featured in that clip are still unfolding, including the devastating fire that rips through the Horton home today!)

Xander and Sarah reunite — just before he’s arrested — and Harris undergoes surgery. In the shower, Sarah and Xander stare breathlessly at each other as he holds her against the tiled wall.

Yesterday’s inferno left several locals homeless. Fortunately, Maggie is there to take in Doug, Julie, Chad, and his children. Wendy’s had her eye on Ava, and today she tells Rafe and Jada about some of the more suspicious behavior exhibited by Tripp’s mom. Xander has a pleasant surprise awaiting him at home. Ava and Stefan come to the conclusion that Clyde was definitely not making idle threats. But what can they do with that information?

Johnny and Chanel get married, Stephanie interrupts Steve and Kayla, and Alex and Theresa confide in John and Marlena, respectively. On the Horton Square set, Johnny and Chanel pose in wedding attire while showing off their wedding rings. As Valentine’s Day kicks off in Salem, Theresa is 100 percent convinced that she’s going to get a proposal from Alex. But are they on the same page? John and Marlena put aside everything to focus on their love during a romantic picnic. Meanwhile, Kayla and Steve look back on their own long and storied romance. Will the surprise Johnny and Chanel spring on Paulina be a welcome one?

Jada presents a literal smoking gun, Sarah stands by Xander, and Brady gives Kristen a blunt reminder as to why they won’t be reuniting. In front of pink and white balloons in the DiMera mansion, Kristen angrily points two fingers at Brady. Here’s a shocker: While Brady’s visiting with Rachel, he and Kristen wind up having a fight. Chad tells Everett the truth about what went down the night of the fire at the Horton home. Stephanie decides it’s time for Jada and Rafe to meet her boyfriend. Given that Jada shares a past with Everett, this should be interesting!

Goldman spies on Wendy and Tripp, and Jada is stunned to see Everett, whom she calls Bobby. Standing at a Brady Pub table, a stunned Jada stares at Everett. He narrows his eyes in confusion while sitting with Stephanie and Rafe. Theresa is more than ready for Alex to slip a ring on her finger… and makes that perfectly clear to him! Leo interrupts Sloan, Eric, and Jude’s family time. EJ pulls out all the stops and manages to majorly impress Nicole. Stephanie confirms plans for a double date with her beau. Is disaster on the horizon?

Jada is confounded by the fact she has to confront Everett about being her former husband, Bobby!

Photos shared by General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash paint a joyful picture of their very ‘happy kid.’

Tuesday, February 20:

Stefan knows exactly how dangerous Clyde is and warns Ava against pushing the bad guy’s buttons.

Brady takes Marlena into his confidence.

Having found the ring a while back, Theresa assumed Alex was going to propose. His failure to do so has her ready to walk right out the door… bags and all!

Sloan is clearly having some issues where Eric’s concerned, and she’s venting about them to Melinda.

Roman arranges a special evening for himself and Kate.

Wednesday, February 21:

The burnt-out remains of the Horton house have Doug, Julie, and Maggie reminiscing about the history that unfolded within its walls. Meanwhile, Roman, Kate, John, and Marlena are all there to support their family and friends.

Leo admits to Julie that he’d like to know more about the history of Salem’s first family. Could he be considering writing a book?

Something tells us that the vintage box discovered today might just play an important role in what’s to come.

Thursday, February 22:

Well, you’re not an official Salem couple until you’ve been kidnapped, which is what happens to Wendy and Tripp today!

Ava opens up to Rafe about the special deal she’d struck with Harris.
