The Bold & the Beautiful

Recaps

Steffy goes ballistic on Luna and Bill, and Hope walks out after Carter refuses to send Daphne away. Bill went to great lengths to see that Sheila went back to prison (not that it stuck). So Steffy’s disbelief that he’s harboring Luna quickly turns to outright anger. Ah, just another day at the office. Hope and Daphne fight over Carter and are stunned by his reaction. Wonder if anyone will get any actual work done — or if Hope will realize that she sounds just like Steffy when she was so ticked that her stepsister kissed Finn.

Li is told Luna is Finn and Poppy’s daughter, and Luna begs Finn to keep her out of prison. Steffy is not messing around where Luna is concerned. Finn’s daughter or not, Steffy brings Deputy Chief Baker in to send Tom and Hollis’ killer back to prison.

Li attacks Poppy and Luna is mysteriously pardoned. Deacon, well aware that it’s always a good idea to second-guess his wife’s motives, questions Sheila’s empathy toward Poppy. Finn’s news about himself and Poppy, followed by the shock that Bill opened his mansion to Luna, evokes a physical reaction in Li. Guess who gets the brunt of it.

Bill kicks Luna to the curb, and Steffy wants Finn to put Luna back behind bars. Steffy and Luna have a fierce face-off over Finn and the future of the situation. The visceral outbreak between Li and Poppy takes a twist. Will someone die?!

Luna demands the truth from Poppy, and Ridge and Eric reclaim Forrester Creations. Having fallen for Carter as quickly as he fell for Hope, Daphne becomes desperate for him to see the truth about Hope. Hmm. Ridge and Eric have none of the power in this situation, yet they give Carter an ultimatum. Guess the Forresters are leaning heavily on Carter’s guilty conscience.

Next Week

Hope your shock absorbers are up to snuff, because a surprise of epic proportions is in store as Hope wonders if the winds of change may be blowing through Forrester Creations, forces are conspiring to deliver a major plot twist to not only her but Steffy, Ridge, Carter… all of the parties with a vested interest in the future of the fashion dynasty. In other developments, Luna seeks out Sheila as a potential kindred spirit. If only she had any idea what Granny just said about her!

The Young & the Restless

Recaps

Phyllis is poisoned, Audra and Nate conspire, and Nick and Billy put their heads together. As Phyllis and Sharon receive a disturbing message from their captor, Nick reluctantly joins forces with Billy.  No dummy, Nate knows something is up with Audra. But rather than come all the way clean about her past with Holden, she covers her tracks once again.

Sharon comes to a terrifying realization, Claire shares a drink with [Spoiler], and Chance gives a chilling update. Summer causes a rift between Kyle and Claire. Will the couple pass the test to which their romance is put? Holden is single and ready to mingle. So it’s about time that he broadened his horizons in Genoa City. Phyllis’ captor forces her to make a tough decision. Interesting — but not Sharon. Maybe the voice is trying to divide and conquer.

Phyllis performs CPR on Sharon, Billy provides a clue, Alan proposes, and the kidnapper is revealed. Phyllis and Sharon take control. Which will be a neat trick, indeed, considering that they are victims of a double kidnapping. Maybe it’s not as over as we thought between two exes when Chance comforts Summer. Traci shares surprising news with Jack. Hmm, if it’s a shock, it can’t be that she and Alan are engaged, because that would totally make sense for the trajectory of their relationship.

Sharon and Phyllis hatch a new plan, Alan pushes for a quick wedding, and Nick and Billy get an ominous clue. Victor questions Adam’s decision-making, surely with his usual emphasis on criticism vs. constructive criticism. Phyllis and Sharon were only in control for a hot minute. Now they fall into a trap. D’oh! Jack makes a confession to Diane.

Sharon and Phyllis are rescued after their situation turns deadly, and Traci reads Alan’s phone. Sounds like we’re coming up on the big climax of the abduction story that Michelle Stafford and Sharon Case told us about, because Sharon and Phyllis are fighting for their lives today. Chance shares a lead with Billy and Nick. Yup, time to swoop in and bring the hostages home.

Next Week

The jig is nearly up for Alan, Victor suggests that Kyle wake up and smell the coffee, Billy and Nick do their best for Phyllis and Sharon, respectively — sorry, Sally — and for one couple, passion ignites.

Monday, March 17:

Alan’s got some ’splainin’ to do, and he’d better do it fast, because Traci wants answers.

Restless Rant! Coming up… Traci in peril! Plus, the most painful Young & Restless story to watch right now, and old flames reignite.

As Billy makes a discovery about Phyllis, Nick forms a plan to help Sharon.

Tuesday, March 18:

When Victor gives Kyle a reality check, will it drive yet another nail into the coffin of his beleaguered romance with Claire? Getting back together with Summer does seem like the path of least resistance for Harrison’s dad.

While Lily wisely questions Damian’s motives, Holden presses his luck with Audra. Is she really going to put her relationship with Nate at risk for the Genoa City newcomer?

Wednesday, March 19:

In the wake of the shock that Traci just received courtesy of her significant other, Jack and Diane offer her their counsel and support. If only any of them knew the full story!

Nick receives an unexpected invitation. Something tells us he’s gonna RSVP yes, too!

They sure took a roundabout route back to one another. Now, though, it’s time to get the fire extinguisher, ’cause sparks are gonna fly between Adam and Chelsea.

Thursday, March 20 & Friday, March 21:

March Madness preempts the show.

 Beyond the Gates

Recaps

Hayley has harsh words for Bill and Dani faces the consequences of her actions. Though we hope she has her lawyer present when she does so, whether she does or she doesn’t, Dani makes a confession. In further over his head than he even realizes yet, Doug tries to get out of a sticky situation. While pretending she’s going to throw herself off the roof of the hospital, Leslie comes face to face with Ted. Naomi confronts Jacob, no doubt about the fact that he did his job and arrested Dani for shooting up Bill and Hayley’s nuptials.

Bill and Dani wind up competing unexpectedly and Kat is asked out on a date. Oh, this’ll go well: Dani crashes Nicole’s interview. Dani, there’s a time and a place, and this is neither one! Eva does some daughter/father bonding with Ted. Which still counts even if she’s the only one of them who knows he’s her father, right? When Tomas shows interest in Kat, all we can say is we hope he has thick skin. That girl is harsh. Jacob meets his new partner.

Eva seems to be rethinking things, and Joey sets a trap that Doug walks right into… Rather than remain at a tense marital impasse over Smitty’s desire to return to work, Martin makes a deal with his husband. Joey ropes Doug into a backroom game. Is the other man catching feelings? Maybe so since Diego gets territorial over Vanessa. Though Derek interrupts Andre’s moment with Ashley, we have a hunch that it won’t be Andre’s last moment with Ashley. Leslie questions Eva’s loyalty.

Eva betrays Leslie at Nicole’s gala — plus, Vernon confronts Martin about his “secret.” Vernon is anything but pleased when he gets wind of grandson Martin’s next move. Ted gets in Leslie’s way — which is just about as dangerous a place to be as we can imagine! Naomi pleads with Dani to be civil. What next? Will Naomi plead with snow not to be cold or jalapenos not to be hot? Drama to the nth when the Dupree family attends Nicole’s award ceremony.

Dani drinks up a nasty surprise for Bill and Hayley — plus, Kat’s confession leaves Tomás speechless. Nicole suspects Dani is up to something. But why? It’s not like Dani is always up to… Oh, wait. Yes, she is always up to something. Kat and Tomas heat things up. Working on his poker face, Andre tries to hide his interest in Ashley. Good luck, buddy, especially if our favorite character is around.

Next Week

And although the week will be a short one thanks to March Madness, it’ll still be action packed! Leslie and Eva — aka our favorite scheme team — come up with a new plan, while Kat draws a line in the sand. As for Dani…

Monday, March 17:

Being Dani’s bestie definitely ain’t an easy task. Just ask Pamela, who finds herself trying to help the troublemaker clean up yet another mess! And that’s before Dani winds up having yet another confrontation with her nemesis, Hayley. (

Ashley and Derek have hit a bit of a bump in the road, but it looks as if they’re in the process of reconnecting. As for Andre, who has been crushing on Ash something fierce, he’ll have someone else to lean on.

Tuesday March 18:

Naomi is a darn good lawyer, but she may find herself dealing with a case that puts her in a precarious personal position.

Kat steps up to defend her territory. (Translation: more trash-talking of Eva!)

Jacob and Marcel head out on a stakeout. But are they also walking into danger?

Wednesday, March 19:

Andre manages to locate Dani. The question is whether or not she’s in the mood to be found!

Ted and Nicole remain happy, even planning something special for their anniversary. Something tells us that those plans might be derailed by the plot that Leslie and Eva are cooking up!

Ashley may have one guy too many. Will Jan be able to offer her pal advice on how to handle Derek and Andre?

Thursday, March 20 & Friday, March 21:

Bad news: The gates will be closed to all visitors today as the show is pre-empted due to coverage of March Madness.
