Steffy finds Luna in her home, and Hope and Liam try to hide their anguish. Bill and Liam face the past — and each other — in a raw, emotional reckoning that could change everything. Are we headed for the miracle that would save Liam?

Steffy and Finn kick Luna out, and Liam realizes Hope knows he’s dying. Remembering their shared past reminds Liam of Hope’s fierce conviction and her will to fight for what’s ahead. But is even her determination enough to keep him going? Though she’s as unwelcome as ants at a picnic, Luna makes a surprise visit to Finn and Steffy. Maybe they’ll get a break from the Luna-cy when Lisa Yamada starts work on her new role.

Liam breaks down, and Brooke advises Carter. Liam cannot bear the pain of losing Hope and his daughters. Heck, it was only a hot minute ago that she decided that she didn’t want to spend another second apart from him! Carter informs Brooke that he will not give up on Hope. Brooke, of all people, should understand. No matter how many times Ridge tells her, “I’ve moved on,” she refuses to.

Carter overhears Hope saying she wants Liam, and Steffy tells Taylor that Liam is dying. Finn and Taylor reassure Steffy that she did the right thing by disregarding Liam’s wishes and filling in Hope that he’s soon to kick the bucket. Hope clings to Liam, desperate to save his life. Not sure how well “clinging” works as a treatment technique, but OK. Just like Brooke is always trying to convince Ridge to dump Taylor and come back to her, Daphne does her best to sway Carter in her direction and away from Hope’s.

Carter takes Daphne to his loft, as Liam urges Hope to go find her ex. Rather than see his former wife waste her time on somebody who has very little left, Liam attempts to convince Hope to repair her relationship with Carter.

Coming Next Week

Hell freezes over and pigs fly… Why’s that? Because Hope and Steffy actually bury the hatchet — and not in one another’s backs. In other developments, perennial rivals Brooke and Taylor go another nine rounds, Ridge hears an ex-fiancée’s two cents about his waffling between wives, and Forrester Creations’ junior-varsity team makes an impassioned pitch. Oh, and one twosome is set for a reunion. Which one?

Daphne sees an opening to Carter’s heart.

Realizing how fleeting time is, Steffy and Hope make amends.

Phyllis overhears Billy’s plan for Victor, and Mariah stuns Tessa. Making good on her promise to stick it to Billy, Phyllis schemes to outsmart her former and Sally’s current lover. As Mariah and Tessa hit a rough patch, we fear their darkest days are ahead. Here’s why. We didn’t realize that their romance had brakes, but apparently it does: Claire slows things down with Kyle.

Restless Rant! Dumas may be the last person one would expect! Plus, why Cole has to die and more.

Phyllis propositions Victor, and Lily and Damian strike a deal. He hasn’t even appeared onscreen yet, but we already know how Aristotle Dumas’ story ends. Since the enemy of one’s enemy is their friend, Victor considers an alliance with Phyllis. “Become colleagues, they said. It’ll be fun, they said.” Mm-hmm. Yet Adam and Chelsea already are struggling with their work/life balance. Score one for Damian. He manages to impress Lily.

Phyllis reaches out to Dumas, Nate welcomes Damian to the family business, and Billy irks Victor. The Dumas reveal inches closer with the arrival of [Spoiler]. Victor strikes back against Billy. Meaning that it must be Billy’s turn to do the same. We know how this game works. Phyllis reaches out to Aristotle Dumas. Boy, will she be surprised if the tycoon turns out to be this character. Nate is skeptical about Damian joining the family business.

Phyllis is rescued by Nick, and Holden grills Audra. Know what a slow learner their son is, Jack and Diane worry about Kyle repeating past mistakes. It’s put up or shut up time as Holden calls Audra’s bluff. Isn’t calling her Grandma enough? Guess not, because Claire works her tail off to impress Nikki.

Sharon confronts Phyllis and Nick, and Amanda returns. When Nick finds himself revisiting familiar territory, will it point him toward an ex… or leave him tsk-tsking his father? Sally worries about Billy’s need for revenge. Why, though? Even his dating profile says that among the things he loves are long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners and revenge. Amanda Sinclair returns to Genoa City. And it sure sounds to us like she’s got some hush-hush ties to [Spoiler].

Coming Next Week

Amanda’s return to Genoa City unnerves Abby, Audra is forced to play defense, Lauren frets about the state of her union, and Damian receives an offer that he can’t refuse. Or, well, if he can refuse it, he doesn’t. Plus, we get a whole episode dedicated to love and romance.

Monday, May 19:

Prepare to hear the name Aristotle Dumas a whole lot more as Billy grills Amanda for Intel.

Phyllis can only be up to no good when she calls in a favor. It’s not like she ever asks anybody for a ride to take her car to the shop!

Damian and Lily had better get comfortable, because if they’re going to discuss their trust issues — and they are — they’re likely to be there for a while.

Restless Rant! Y&R just exposed Aristotle Dumas’ true identity! Plus, is Billy being played? Phyllis/Nick/Sharon, missing storylines, and more.

Tuesday, May 20:

Victor is skeptical of Claire’s proposal. If this is about her showing him how in love she and Kyle are, yeah, we’re with Victor on this one!

Victoria makes a decision about her relationship with Cole. Will she decide that the second time is the charm for her and her ex-husband?

Keenly aware that #TheMoreYouKnow, the better, Holden quizzes Kyle about his past with Audra.

Wednesday, May 21:

Proving that he’s not all about revenge schemes and power plays, Victor surprises Nikki with a romantic evening.

Michael distracts Lauren from their problems — we suspect in a boom-chicka-wow-wow sorta way.

Better late than never, Jack helps Diane find her place with the Abbotts.

Thursday, May 22:

Bothered by Amanda’s return, Abby has her guard up. Could there be unfinished business between Devon and his former significant other?

Audra is forced to defend her actions. Which is pretty much par for the course for her, isn’t it? Has she ever done something and had everybody go, “Yep, that makes sense”?

Damian accepts an intriguing offer. How could he not, right? Intriguing offers are the hardest ones to turn down!

Friday, May 23:

Victor gives Michael a dire warning. Michael, in turn, runs straight to HR. Just kidding about that second part. But seriously, Victor is one of daytime’s worst-ever bosses!

Despite Michael having just turned on the charm, Lauren worries about her marriage. Next time, Michael, maybe turn the charm up… even higher?

A mother’s work never being done — well, unless she’s playing dead — Diane worries about Kyle’s decision-making.

General Hospital
