Let’s take a look at this story, shall we? Sami (Alison Sweeney) went after Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker). It was a bitter move that ruined poor Nicole’s marriage to Sami’s twin brother, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Paying Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to expose the affair was very dirty, indeed. And, while Sami got her comeuppance, we don’t think Ava (Tamara Braun) would let Sami off the hook so easily.

But, why would Ava get involved, you ask. Well, soap friends, it was out of sheer rage for that whole sordid scene. Ava is not above hurting someone for the sake of friendship and she’s not going to let anyone come after her bestie. Sure, she and Nicole have some drama over Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) but that’s neither here nor there. Ava still isn’t going to sit back and let someone else hurt Nicole.

There Ava is all angry and protective and ready to take Sami down and low and behold the baddie shows up right on her doorstep. Talk about great timing! Ava grabbed Sami, hauled her away, and is going to teach her a lesson like no other. We can only imagine the hell Sami is in right now. Ava is well known for coming undone and Sami clearly can’t fight her off or she would be home by now.

Unfortunately, for Ava, this kidnapping plot isn’t doing her any favors. First, while she’s off torturing Sami, Rafe is getting closer and closer to Nicole. He’s missing precious bonding time and some super special dinners. Second, he’s the Commissioner.

If it comes out she took his ex-wife, not only will Rafe leave her but he’ll make darn sure she stays locked away for years to come. If Ava is the one, she’s playing a very dangerous little game. Think this wild speculation could really happen?

Soap Hub’s Wellness Wednesday: How DAYS Star Robert Scott Wilson Stays Fit

 

Sure, Robert Scott Wilson keeps in great physical shape because it’s part of his job as an actor on Days of our Lives. In fact, the actor has been baring his bod on Daytime TV ever since he was cast as The Price is Right’s first male model back in 2012. However, staying in shape, he says, does as much for his mind that it does for his body.

As Wilson’s Instagram followers know, the actor is often outside doing some kind of physical activity. And it’s not just because he never knows when Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) is going to come back to Salem and strap him shirtless to a table. Wilson tells Soap Hub why it’s important for him to work out from a mental standpoint as well as a physical one in this week’s installment of Wellness Wednesday.

 

 

Soap Hub: What’s your go-to activity for working out?
Robert Scott Wilson: My gym is my personal sanctuary for my physical as well as my mental health. I do circuit-training but I also go there to ease my mind and, in a way, zone out. I don’t spend tons of time in the gym but I try to be consistent. It’s important for me to try to be at my peak physicality but having the mental outlet, too. Maintaining some abs is one thing but maintaining mental clarity is much more important to me.

Timing Is Everything

Do you work out every day?
I don’t really feel like I’ve had my full day until I try to do some kind of physical activity. You do need recovery days. When I take one of those or if I have a heavy workday and don’t have time to get to the gym, I try to eat “cleaner” on those days.

How did you handle working out — or not working out as much — when social distancing began?
It was such a frightening time when it all started. People didn’t want to leave their homes. I was lucky in that I have a balcony and an area where I live where I can do some workouts. Two things I brought out to L.A. with me from Massachusetts are these 40 lb. dumbbells. I did some at-home yoga. Being in Los Angeles, we’re lucky to have hiking trails and I’ll also do some neighborhood walks.

What advice do you have for people trying to get started?
Take that initial first step – even if you don’t feel like it. Once you start that process — be it going to a gym or taking a class or going to a track — it’s important to take that first step. Don’t say, “I’ll start tomorrow” or “I’ll start next week.” The hardest part is getting started.

Eating, Water, and Cheat Days

Some people are trying Intermittent Fasting. What’s your take on that?
I’m not a physical trainer but I listen to my body. Intermittent fasting is a big term [that can mean] you’re skipping breakfast, which can mean fewer calories. You might get some benefits. You might not. It’s important to pick your own path. Find what works for you.

What’s one of your main health tips?
Drink water. I try to drink a lot of PH-balanced water — especially in the morning. I happen to be a coffee addict, so I have to drink even more water so that I don’t get dehydrated.

One last question, Robert Scott Wilson! Where do you stand on “cheat days” and “recovery days”?
I’m a big foodie. I have finally found a couple of decent pizza spots that I can rely on. [Laughs] It’s not like being back east. I have a sweet tooth, too. I’m a big steam room fan and [I’ll use] infrared saunas. I try to take time to rest. It’s very important to give your body and your mind time to relax so that you can take on the next day.

DAYS Star Camila Banus Reveals She Married The Love of Her Life

 

Days of our Lives’ Gabi seems to be enjoying her time with her dead husband’s twin brother these days, but in real life, her portrayer Camila Banus, recently revealed that her love life is in even a bigger love orbit.

You see, Banus got married to longtime love Marlon Aquino last weekend and PEOPLE caught the whole thing on film, with an exclusive peek into her wedding day. The actress shared a trio of her favorite photos from the shoot on her Instagram page and went into detail about the fun photo session.

“Took my best friend out to the desert with both of our families and friends and got married,” she beamed, adding a host of emojis signifying the special day, including a cactus, diamond ring, and camel. “I love you my husband @aquinomarlon.”

It’s easy to see how happy Camila Banus was in the images, and everything about the wedding day seemed perfect. “It was the most magical night I have ever had,” she wrote. “It took my breath away, it brought me to tears (tears of joy). I am so grateful for everyone that has helped me plan and execute this huge feat!”

In an effort to thank some of those people she mentioned, Banus tagged a number of them including her planner (@sweetmaries_eventplanning) calling her “an actual angel”; her makeup artist (@yoralphy); the Castle House Estate where the wedding was held and Croux and Company for doing the catering.

Of course, she also gave a special shout-out to PEOPLE for the exclusive release and capturing the beautiful day in photos. A bevy of daytime stars reached out to send wishes, including Tamara Braun, who wrote, “Congratulations beauties!! So happy for you both and can’t wait to hear all about it!”

Back in Salem, Gabi is being her old devious self, trying to kick Philip Kiriakis out of his own family’s business so she and Jake can take over Titan themselves. But will she be successful or will someone finally see through her latest scheme?

Forget Ava (Tamara Braun), 35% of you predict. Rafe (Galen Gering) should sit quietly and wait for Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) to return home and remember that he’s the man she loves – now that Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) is really most sincerely dead.

Their breakup never really made sense. The big issue was little David. Hope didn’t want to raise another kid. Good news! Rafe lost custody of David to his crazy biological family! So now he and Hope can pick up where they left off. They were on a break.

Ava actually wants Rafe, 32% of the audience would like to point out. Unlike Hope, who made it clear she didn’t. Well, not enough to compromise, anyway. Now, the couple could choose to turn right around and go get those suckers, or, they could merely abstain from making love for the majority of their honeymoon trip…or, at the very least until they pass a gas station and/or pharmacy where oodles of protection are sold. Or they could forgo said protection, throw caution to the wind, and work on bringing baby Beauregard into the world. Decisions, decisions.

What started as a session where she was singing Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) praises, turns into a truth-telling forum for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) – and Lord knows she has a lot to come clean about.

There’s the whole Abby Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) being innocent of causing her miscarriage thing, and the whole being blackmailed into serving as a drug runner thing…let’s just say there’s a lot of things. But will Gwen confess the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth to papa Jack (Matthew Ashford), or will she leave a few things unsaid?

Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) expects Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) to reimburse her the $1 million that Bonnie made off with decades earlier – and she’s even figured out the easiest way for Bonnie to do it; namely, steal the $1 million that Xander’s carrying around and having public discussions about. But is Bonnie really about the return to her old con artist ways?

Opposite this, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) pays ex-wife, and employee, Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) a visit and asks a big favor of her. If this favor has anything to do with rehiring Xander at Basic Black, expect Nicole to give EJ the big thumbs down.

Soap Hub Editors Face Off On Days of our Lives Chloe vs. Philip

 

On the Wednesday episode of Days of our Lives, Philip Kiriakis had a feeling Brady Black wanted to take advantage of his girlfriend, Chloe Lane, so he flew to where they were only to find the former marrieds sharing a bed! D’oh! Well, Philip lost it but then Chloe lost it on him!

Days of our Lives Face-Off Causes Soap Hub Face-Off

In discussing the blow-up, Soap Hub editors Amber Sinclair and Diane Brounstein realized they fell on opposing sides and decided to each state their case. Amber is Team Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) while Diane is Team Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Here are the arguments each has presented. At the bottom, you can vote in a poll which character has your support.

Team Philip Kiriakis

Was Philip wrong for flying all the way to the middle of nowhere to “check on” Chloe? Darn right he was. That over-the-top behavior shouldn’t sit right with anyone. However, his instincts weren’t wrong. Chloe WAS in bed with Brady when he walked into her room. Even in the most platonic fashion, I can see how what would make even the most secure person go into a jealous rage.

It’s one thing to be okay with her partner sharing a room with their ex. It happens. However, sharing a bed is a totally different story. That stops being about “well, don’t you trust me,” and crosses all sorts of boundaries. A pillow barrier isn’t enough for me to be calm and cool about my partner hopping into bed with a former lover. No sir, no ma’am, no way. Chloe was out of bounds on this one. Thankfully, our girl smartened up and slept on the floor. Even she knew bed-sharing wasn’t a good move.

Team Chloe Lane

Chloe can certainly handle herself and she did a great job of telling Brady (Eric Martsolf) how he went wrong and she’s moved on. So when Philip flew off the handle, after she’d proven herself more than capable of being loyal to him, she was understandably frustrated by Philip’s crossing the line into practical stalker behavior!

How many times does she have to tell him to trust her to handle things? Either he trusts her or he doesn’t? Brady can’t cast a spell and make Chloe do anything he wants her to and if he can, then what she has with Philip isn’t very special, is it? So she was right to say he either trusts her or he doesn’t. Was it a smart move to move to the floor? Absolutely! But I still stand by Chloe’s tirade.
