DAYS OF OUR LIVES' Brandon Beemer Back On Set!

Popular “Days of Our Lives” star Brandon Beemer, let go from the sudser just over two months ago, has resumed taping at the show. In March, word came that both Beemer and on-screen leading lady Martha Madison were let go. However, according to Daytime Confidential, the actor is back taping due to contract cycle issues. Shawn Brady is a legacy character, meaning both his parents come from core DAYS families. In Shawn-D’s case, his parents are the super-popular Bo and Hope Brady! Beemer, brought his baby blues and chiseled features back to DAYS in January, much to the glee of fans. Apparently, Beemer was let go at the start of his second 26-week contract cycle. However, DAYS would have had to pay him for the remainder of his cycle, so show execs chose to use the actor rather than pay someone who wasn’t even on-screen. The show has not said how long Beemer will be sticking around Salem, but Soap Hub will keep you informed as more info becomes available. DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. General Hospital's JASAM On The Run!

The “General Hospital spoilers” for Thursday, June 2 promise a day of action and intrigue as Port Charles folks consume themselves with the seemingly-futile search for Nikolas. Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) know they need to think of something fast because Jason clearly has no intention for going to jail and trial for a crime he didn’t commit. They put their enforcer and detective skills to work and seek refuge while they come up with a plan. Of course, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) has a word with Jason firsts and insists he not make his situation any worse than it is. She seems to want to make sure Hayden (Rebecca Budig) goes to jail instead. Meanwhile, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) isn’t taking her witch hunt and manhunt lightly and enlists the help of the Feds in this pressing Cassadine matter. Speaking of Hayden, Princess Cassadine’s involvement with Finn (Michael Easton) deepens as he warns her to forget something she witnessed. Carly also has some words with Finn after Obrecht makes accusations and she wonders how many lies her new friend has told her. Over in Maxie (Kirsten Storms) land, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) decides he might finally come clean about Claudette. He also may have no choice as once again words in a hospital bed have meaning. What he tells Maxie will floor her, but is Nathan ever not full of surprises? GH airs weekdays on ABC. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Meet General Hospital's New Danny Morgan!

On June 1, 2012, social media and soaps welcomed a brand-new legacy character to its fold in the form of “The Jasam Baby” aka “Baby Boss” aka “Danny Morgan.” Of course, little Danny was known as Victor his first few months of life as he ended up in the hands of “One Life to Live’s” Tea Delgado and spent some time in Llanview, PA while poor Sam thought her baby died. Not only did Sam (Kelly Monaco) think she lost another child–she also thought he was fathered by the then-serial-killing-would-be-rapist Franco. (Tests later proved Jason was indeed his dad.) Just before Jason disappeared into the river as Steve Burton (and emerging two years later as Billy Miller and Jake Doe), he found Sam’s baby and they brought him home. So, yes, technically Danny should only be four years old, but the magic of soaps arrived last month and put a few years on the little guy. TK Weaver took over the role of Daniel Edward Morgan the day Jason’s memories returned, ushering in a new era for the Jasamiel Family. Weaver, whose appeared in the movies “Upended” and “Thumper” just started his very own social media account (ran by his mom, of course) and sent out his first tweet on Monday, to the delight of fans. As we enjoy Weaver’s adorable performance, take a look at a few pics of Danny through the years. GH airs weekdays on ABC. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. DAYS OF OUR LIVES Freddie Smith Returns!

While it was confirmed a while back that actor Freddie Smith would return to the role of Sonny on “Days Of Our Lives,” there was no word whether his appearance would be short-term like it was when Smith returned for Will’s funeral last fall. Now, the Official Freddie Smith Facebook Fanpage confirms that Smith is indeed on contract and we’ll first see him in July. No exact airdate has been released yet. We guess it’s time for Sonny to return to town after doing Uncle Victor’s business bidding over in Europe. Apparently, Sonny will once again become involved with ex-lover, Paul (Christopher Sean). According to the June 6 issue of Soap Opera Digest, things are about to get hot and heavy between the exes. “Sonny returns to Salem to help help his family through tough times and his relationship with Paul grows,” Executive Producer Ken Corday told Digest. “Paul will be coming more to the foreground with Sonny back in town.” Soap Shows is glad to hear Sean’s talents won’t be wasted on silly stories like The Yo Ling Saga and instead will be used as Sonny and Paul explore their feelings for each other. DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Share your thoughts, leave a comment! For more “Days of our Lives spoilers” updates and news, join the conversation on Soap Shows’ DAYS Facebook page. The New Abigail Devereaux DiMera Has Been Recast!

It looks like the long and exhaustive search for a brand-new Abigail is over for “Days of Our Lives” as Marci Miller has been cast in the role. DAYS began searching for a new Abby late last year after Kate Mansi wrapped her stint as our hapless heroine and the love of Chad’s life. According to Entertainment Weekly, Miller began taping scenes this month. However, due to DAYS’ lead time, you won’t see Abby’s new face until next fall. For now, Abigail languishes in a mental hospital while Chad (Billy Flynn) tries to raise their on on his own. She will disappear from the hospital this month and apparently turn up with a whole new appearance right in time for November sweeps. According to IMDB, Miller has appeared in the films “About Abigail” (how fitting), and “Viper.” DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Share your thoughts, leave a comment!
