Breaking General Hospital spoilers for Monday, October 17 promise a heartbreaking day as Carly tries coming to terms with the state of her life and family. You may need to break out the Kleenex again for this one.
Can He Comfort Her?
Carly (Laura Wright) is back at her old house with Josslyn, ready to move on from Sonny and regretting ever re-marrying him last year. Jason (Billy Miller) is here as her rock, but even he knows he is not all that she needs. They may have been there for each other for decades, but he still feels Sonny (Maurice Benard) is the man she should grieve with because they both lost a son. He tries to reason with her that maybe someone else set a bomb for Julian, but they also both know the truth.
Sonny Tormented
Meanwhile, Sonny remains in his own home with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Avery upstairs, and Julian (William deVry) visiting with a flower arrangement downstairs. Julian is taking a risk, but it seems he almost wants to taunt Sonny, once again proving what a true sociopath he is. Nelle ends up coming to his rescue and seems to want to help Sonny in any way she can.
Finding The Truth
Curtis (Donnell Turner) now has the job of getting proof that Sonny is the one who set that car bomb. He begins by asking TJ (Tequan Richmond) questions, causing TJ to make some wrong assumptions. But, TJ was the one who saw Morgan take off in Julian’s car.
GH Happenings
On the hospital front, Tracy (Jane Elliott) is doing her best to try to restore GH to its former glory and takes Lucy (Lynn Herring) to task. In addition, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) laments being out of a job. She always had the security of GH, but now her financial security is gone.
