Fast Break: Did Billy Rush His Recovery on The Young and the Restless?

On The Young and the Restless, does it feel like Billy’s goodbyes before he went to rehab took up more time than he actually spent in there?
A week? For realz? Billy (Jason Thompson) kicked a gambling addiction that’s been haunting him for a decade, which broke up multiple relationships, and which just recently returned with a vengeance in a week?
He must have stayed at the Gamblers Anonymous Miracle Max!
Did this all seem a little too fast to you? Almost 9,000 fans took longer to think about it and come up with an answer!

Did Billy even go to rehab, 85% of you wonder? Maybe, after calling Summer (Hunter King) for a booty-call AKA revenge sex, Billy just left Genoa City for… Las Vegas? Atlantic City? Monaco?
The guy’s still an Abbott. Even if somebody would have noticed the Jabot jet missing, he still has enough credit cards to fund a private vacation pretty much anywhere – for a week.
And if he did go to rehab, how much soul-searching could he have done? Seven days is barely enough time to unpack, meet your roommate, and find out where the bathroom is.
When did he get around to baring his soul and figuring out what drove his destructive behavior? And come up with new strategies to help make better choices. That’s what the Abbotts were paying for! (And you know his family is footing the bill!)
Been There, Done That
Like Mark Twain, who said that quitting smoking wasn’t difficult, he’s done it dozens of times, 14% of the audience believes Billy doesn’t need to spend much time at rehab, he’s done it so often, he knows the drill by now.
They told him he was a bad boy, Billy promised to change, they believed him and, sent him on his way. Just like home.

Watch Again: Ava Promises Dream Avery She’s Changed

Ava was haunted by her past as she contemplated her future on General Hospital, all while she was getting surgery to fix her scarred face after a fire.
Wanting to believe the fire provided her the opportunity to cleanse her soul, Ava (Maura West) was not happy when she imagined a grown Avery screaming at her for all of her past misdeeds.
She wanted to believe that she was wiping the slate clean because Griffin (Matt Cohen) could see the good in her.
Was Dream Avery right? Is Ava destined to always be bad? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Days of Our Lives Star Paul Telfer Celebrates Amazing Milestone

Xander looks to have perished on Days of Our Lives, but his portrayer, Paul Telfer, has plenty to celebrate!
Telfer was born on October 30, 1979, in Paisley, Scotland, UK, which means that he’s turning 39 today!
He graduated with First Class honors in Film Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury in 1999. In addition to acting, Telfer has been a salesman, teacher, and also a painter.
His first job was a guest spot on the TV show Is Harry on the Boat? in 2002. This was followed up by an appearance on Mile High and Hotel Babylon.

He appeared in the TV movie Spartacus with Goran Visnjic (Timeless, ER), the mini-series Hercules in the title role, and the film Miss Conception with Heather Graham.
Telfer had recurring roles as Corporal Damon Werth on NCIS and Alexander on The Vampire Diaries, and did guest spots on shows like CSI, Body of Proof, and Once Upon A Time. He also recently shot a role in Green Fever, which he also wrote.
But of course it’s his role as Xander on DAYS that has won the hearts of soap viewers.
Soap Hub wishes Paul Telfer the happiest of birthday and you can too by clicking the link below.

General Hospital Star Kristina Wagner Celebrates Amazing Milestone!

Felicia has no idea what kind of danger she’s in on General Hospital, but her portrayer, Kristina Wagner, has plenty to celebrate.
Wagner was born on October 30, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana, which means that she’s turning 56 today!
She graduated from Northwest High School and pursued her love of acting and dance by attending the local university to enroll as a theater major.
While attending I.U.P.U.I in Indianapolis, she booked TV commercials, and by 1983, she landed the role of Aztec Princess Felicia Cummings on General Hospital — a role she has played on and off ever since.

She was immediately paired with a young actor named Jack Wagner and the two eventually fell in love.
They married on December 18, 1993, and later divorced after 12 years of marriage and two sons. In 1991, she was chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world.
During one of her breaks from the show, she went back to college and enrolled as a history major at California State University Northridge. Once she graduated, Wagner wrote, directed, and produced her first historical documentary, Children of Internment.
In 2014, Wagner joined the cast of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart as Nora Avery. Her ex-husband co-stars along with Lori Loughlin (ex-Jody Travis, Edge of Night).
Soap Hub wishes Kristina Wagner the happiest of birthdays and you can too by clicking the link below.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Halloween Means a Dead Body!

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 31 prove that you can’t have Halloween without ghosts… or skeletons, as Nikki, Victoria, Phyllis, and Sharon go digging for JT’s body… with Jill proving a spoiler.
Meanwhile, Nick just won’t give up trying to win back his ex-wife – now with costumes and candy!
You won’t want to miss a moment of this trick-or-treat episode.
Body Rolls
When Victoria (Amelia Heinle) heard that a water main burst right beneath where JT (Thad Luckinbill) is buried, she begged Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to push back the repairs.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) convinced the others that they have to dig JT up, they have no choice. (And put him WHERE, Phyllis?)
In order to do that, they put on teeny, tiny black facemasks. Like The Incredibles. Because the most important thing you have to protect is your identity.
Then they tease their hair really big, just in case anyone is fooled, even briefly, by the masks. Back to the 80s for Aqua Net time?
So, the ladies start digging. (Do they have any idea what a dead body smells like? Or what it decomposes into? Do they expect to reuse Victoria’s carpet?)
But then here comes Jill (Jess Walton), and she’s about to throw a monkey wrench into the entire plan! Hey, is there room in that hole for two? (We jest, we jest…)
Playing Dress Up
Nick (Joshua Morrow) convinced Sharon (Sharon Case) to go pumpkin picking with him, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Christian.
Then, he convinced her to come trick or treating with them. Look at what a happy family they are! Look at how much the children love her! Look at how much Christian misses her! Doesn’t Sharon want all this back?
Nick isn’t subtle.
But Sharon has other things on her mind. She needs to excuse herself, put on a tiny mask, and go dig up a grave.
Will Nick want her then? She will look like a bit of a hypocrite on her secret-keeping rant, but hey, Phyllis, his mom, and his sister are in on this one, too.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Salem Gets Spooky For Halloween

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, October 31 reveal a day like no other as your favorite Salem citizens get the shock of their lives.
It looks like the creepy holiday will cause a bit of upset for Salem You’re not going to want to miss a moment of this trick-or-treat episode!
Watch Out
It’s Halloween night, and things take a strange turn in Salem. Some familiar faces return for a spooky surprise.
And it looks like most of it will surround Abigail (Marci Miller) and the baby that she’s carrying.

It a page right out of Rosemary’s Baby (and perhaps a little bit of The Exorcist), look for Abigail’s baby to bare a shocking resemblance to Andre (Thaao Penghlis), while scaring the heck out of all of those around her.
Freaky Happenings
But that won’t be the only frightening thing to happen or the only strange return. Keep an eye out for Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso.
Who knows what mischief she’ll be up to. There will also be another spirit showing up — who knows what she’ll do!
Disillusioned With It All
Hattie (Deidre Hall) thought pretending to be Marlena was her ticket out prison and to the high life. It would be a piece of cake since she’s done it before, right? Well, not so fast.
Hattie realizes pretending to be Marlena isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
It looks like she may be looking for a ticket out of doppelgänger land — and we’re pretty certain that a few people in town will be thrilled to make that happen.
Good News
The main one being John (Drake Hogestyn). Spoilers reveal that he scores a major win and we’re guessing it has to do with Hattie’s no longer wanting to be Marlena — and therefore married to him.
So does she finally tell him that she’s willing to give him that divorce he wants so badly so he can marry the real McCoy?
He and Marlena have been through so much — it’s about time things go their way.

General Hospital Spoilers: A Happy Halloween To Remember?

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, October 31 promise a spooky, creepy, and maybe even romantic day and night in Port Charles. You won’t want to miss a moment of this trick-or-treat episode.
Will Jason And Sam Be Happy For Halloween?
Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) have been growing closer and have even been telling the camera how they feel (in one seriously and weirdly awkward scene), but not each other.
Well, spoilers say that Jason gets a sweet surprise for Halloween. We do know Sam greets him with a smile in the dark and Jason smiles back in an all-knowing way.
Will something actually happen between these two or is this all about giving Danny a first Halloween with both of his parents?

Peter And James’ First Halloween
Peter (Wes Ramsey) is celebrating his first Halloween ever after robbing several from Jason and a whole lot from Drew (Billy Miller), and all he wants is to be with Maxie (Kirsten Storms). So much so, that he invites her to a fundraiser with him.
An Electoral Feat
With just six days till Election Day, Laura (Genie Francis) is determined to pull off an electoral miracle. Maybe she will be the Lisa Murkowski (the Alaskan senator who won as a write-in) of Port Charles.
She’s got plenty of support from Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner), and even from Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), who tells her she’s going to make an excellent mayor.
Franco’s Big Idea
Elizabeth also has to deal with her home life and Franco’s genius plan to throw a Halloween party for Aiden and his classmates.
It may not be what Aiden needed (or what his teacher needed), and she’s been getting around town a lot lately.
Ryan’s On The Prowl
Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) may or may not have done a bad, bad thing — again — but he sure does have Ava (Maura West) on the mind.
While she’s still spitting nails at Griffin (Matt Cohen) for hurting her, Ryan has his own ideas.
And Kiki (Hayley Erin) has her own ideas. She wonders if Griffin will be back to work soon. That way they can see each other all the time. Yay?
Has A Plan Come Together?
Finally, Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) have dinner together and she’s quite pleased with her ex-husband. Are things truly falling in place for Valentin?

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Raw Breakdown: Wednesday, October 31

The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Wednesday, October 31 reveals Phyllis taking the board by storm, Summer getting her feelings hurt, and the ladies facing another shocking obstacle.
The Contenders Face Off
The race for CEO kicks off with Phyllis, Jack, and Billy going head to head. Jack (Peter Bergman) has the experience, the passion, and the history, but will it be enough to beat out the other two?
Well, he’s working on getting a trick up his sleeve in the form of world-renowned chemist Kerry (Alice Hunter)!
Billy (Jason Thompson) lost his way once, and it’s a huge hit against his record. He started his tenure as a firecracker and ended up an embezzler.

However, his forward vision always wows the crowd and not a single campaign has failed yet. In a funny twist, he’s also courting Kerry.
Phyllis Drops A Bomb
Then there’s Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Virtually no executive experience, definitely no CEO experience, and very little understanding of how things really work. Her one plus – she’ll be a fresh face and is all about empowering women.
Oh, and she’s in talks with Kerry too. But unlike the Abbott brothers, she actually lands the deal. Well, only if she becomes CEO.
Kyle Puts His Foot Down
Kyle (Michael Mealor) takes a break from the office drama to stir up some of his own. He tracks down Summer (Hunter King) to give her a piece of his mind.
Expect her to be blindsided by his stunning outburst. She thought he was in her corner but it turns out she has no friends at all.
In a stroke of luck, Lola (Sasha Calle) overhears everything and she’s ready to give Kyle another chance. The two are back on and even seal it with a kiss!
More JT Trouble!
Phyllis may regret putting so much time into winning. Even if she gets what she wants, she risks losing it all anyway. JT’s grave has to be dealt with and as the ringleader she needs to be there too.
Thankfully, Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) already begun taking control of the situation. She calls Arturo, makes plans for the statue to leave (even in pieces), and then he leaves the site for the night so the women can work.
Unfortunately, no amount of planning will do anyone any good. There’s a problem at the site, and she’s big-time mad!
Jill (Jess Walton) puts a halt to construction and demands everyone put their shovels down. That statue isn’t going anywhere. She’s putting halt to this mess and creating a whole other set of hurdles the ladies have to jump over.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) also causes problems for the women. The detective is becoming suspicious of Sharon’s recent disappearing acts and turns to Mariah for answers. Sharon’s charity claims don’t sit well with him and he wants answers.

Dominic Zamprogna BACK On General Hospital

It turns out Dante didn’t disappear from General Hospital with barely a trace after all. (Well, except for one-sided phone calls.)
Okay, it may not be what fans hope for, but it will be something as Dominic Zamprogna makes a one-day appearance back on GH for a very special November episode.
He’s back in the studio to shoot on Tuesday, according to a tweet, declaring it’s “Dante for the day.”
“I’m excited,” he told Soap Opera Digest. “I was super-touched that the show came to me and wanted me to be a part of this. I think people are going to like it a lot.”
Dante was last seen in June when he surprised Lulu one day and told her he’s leaving like right then and there on a super secret WSB mission. It was an opportunity he apparently couldn’t pass up and he just left his wife and kids.
It was Zamprogna’s choice to leave the show, but fans were still disappointed with how he was written out. Perhaps this November appearance will rectify that.

Miss Ashley: Will You Miss This Abbott On The Young and the Restless?

After months and months of build up, Eileen Davidson is finally taking her leave from The Young and the Restless.
Ashley said see ya, after having found out that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) tried to destroy the document that would give her control over all her Jabot patents… after Jack found out that Ashley was responsible for faking his paternity… after Ashley was burned by Jack using the Blood Abbott Clause against her…
Well, Ashley decided to take her patents and start her own cosmetics company. In Paris. She told Neil (Kristoff St. John) over the phone. One way.
Jack tried to talk Ashley out of it, by invoking all the employees she’ll be hurting just because she’s mad at him. That still wasn’t enough to change Ashley’s mind.

So now she’s off to France (or, maybe, Salem?). Will you miss her? Over 9,000 viewers weighed in.
From the Ashes
Yes, 72% of you are heartbroken. With John gone, Dina quickly losing ground, Traci (Beth Maitland) living out of town, and Billy (Jason Thompson) and Kyle squabbling brats, Ashley was a vital linchpin in the Abbott family. Things won’t be the same without her!
Abby (Melissa Ordway) is going to need her mother around if Arturo (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) really start going at it.
Who will Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have to snark at? Who will Victoria (Amelia Heinle) feel threatened by? And Ravi (Abhi Sinha)? Who will even notice that he seems to have disappeared without a trace?
Ash Day
She’s been gone before, and Genoa City survived without her, 28% dismissed. Abby is a big girl, Jack has this coming, and Neil wasn’t even important enough for her to dump in person.
Nothing is holding Ashley in town and you don’t think anything will change with her gone. Viva la France!

A Thrilling November To Remember On The Young And The Restless

November sweeps are around the corner and that means The Young and the Restless will be pulling out all the stops and you won’t believe what it has in store!
Here is just a sampling of what lies ahead for your Genoa City favorites, according to published reports!
Hey, Abbott!
After a period of infighting, the Abbotts find themselves coming together to take on an outside conflict. Nothing will get a warring clan back together like an outsider!
Now that Jack (Peter Bergman) knows he’s John’s son is he ready to focus on his personal life and perhaps find a wife? (And we mean a NEW wife?) Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) takes on a new business project that will involve many citizens of Genoa City!

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have had ups and downs, but watch for the pair to come together when an outside forces attacks Victor’s company.
Like the Abbotts, the Newmans will come together against their enemies.
When First We Practice To Deceive!
Sharon (Sharon Case), Nikki, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) have been practically hyperventilating daily  ever since the fateful night they buried J.T. (Thad Luckinbill). (After Nikki killed him, of course.)
They’ll learn the identity of the blackmailer and one of the four steps forward to become the quartet’s leader! (Wait! They don’t have a leader?)
Bad Billy
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) plan for revenge may have worked too well if Phyllis rushes back into the arms of her ex, Nick (Joshua Morrow).
Summer decides to mess with Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) relationship with Lola (Sasha Callie).
Fenmore’s Re-Opening
After being on the back burner for entirely too long, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael (Christian Jules LeBlanc) will start popping up in some episodes as a person from their past resurfaces!
Hamilton/Ashby
Devon (Bryton James) spends more and more time alone as he continues to deal with Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) death.
Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) has to deal with life without Lily (Christel Khalil) now that she’s transferred to a faraway prison.
Finding Love
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) takes an important step in her future with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), but just how well does Mariah truly know the woman she’s spending more and more time with? She may learn more than she wants to!
Rosales Rules
Arturo (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) have to deal with some secrets from their past before they can make plans to have harmony in their future.
Watch for the arrival of Mia (Noemi Gonzalez), Rey’s estranged wife, to shake things up!

Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Tearful Exits & SHOCKING Returns!

Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in con-tract, recurring or day player roles?
Are any well remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.
The week of October 29, 2018
Thaao Penghlis, who was killed off as Andre DiMera back in January, is resurfacing for another appearance. The actor turns up for the show’s special Halloween episode airing Wednesday, October 31.
Kassie DePaiva is heading off the canvas as Eve Donovan for a couple of months. Look for the character to have a big spat with Eric Martsolf’s Brady, after which she decides to visit her sister Theresa (Jen Lilley) and father Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) in New York.
DePaiva will be back, albeit not until the end of the year. According to the actress, Eve is slated to resurface on New Year’s Eve.

A Game Of ‘Sharey’? Are Sharon and Rey Falling In Love on The Young and the Restless?

All right, The Young and the Restless fans, let’s look at the evidence and it doesn’t look pretty.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) came to town looking to get to the bottom of what happened with JT (Thad Luckinbill). He chatted up Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). But he really put the moves on Sharon (Sharon Case).
He’s living above her coffee shop. He got her a job working side by side with him at the police station. And he invited her to dinner… which ended with some mutual whipped cream spraying.
Meanwhile, Sharon dumped Nick (Joshua Morrow) at the altar by exposing his affair with Phyllis. Now Nick wants her back, but Sharon has made it clear they are never, ever getting back together.

So you tell us, YR fans: Is this a couple in the making? Over 20,000 had this to say about it!
This Isn’t Our First Rodeo
Of course, they are, 74% roll their eyes. It was obvious from the first time Rey popped up just as Sharon and Nick’s relationship was imploding.
Even Nick can see what’s going on. That’s why he went to Abby (Melissa Ordway) for any dirt she can share with him about the Rosales brothers, the nature of their feud, and what he can use to prove to Sharon that Rey isn’t the man for her. Nick is!
Married Man
Sure, Sharon hasn’t let a man being married to someone else stop her from falling for him before, but she’s matured since then, 25% insist. And Rey is, in fact, married.
His wife is about to hit Genoa City, and that should cool down whatever fires are smoldering between Rey and Sharon.
Plus, let’s not forget that what Rey really wants from Sharon isn’t love, it’s evidence. He wants to break JT’s case, and he’s not above using Sharon to do it.

General Hospital Spoilers: Ferncliff Terror Abounds In Port Charles!

General Hospital spoilers for October 29 – November 2 promise a week of mystery, intrigue, heartbreak, and danger in Port Charles. You won’t want to miss a moment of these emotional episodes.
Mistaken Identity
Poor Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) is locked away in a straight jacket at Ferncliff and has spent weeks wondering how the heck he is ever going to get anyone to believe the truth.
Well, he gets his first glimmer of hope next week when he spots Carly (Laura Wright) and Laura (Genie Francis) in the facility.
He also can’t believe his eyes. He doesn’t manage to reach them but knows they’ll be back so he has to have a plan.

Meanwhile, Nurse Mary (Pat) Ingalls is back in the picture and gets in over her head. Does she try to save her own hide or atone for her past sins?
Later in the week, Chase (Josh Swickard) also makes a gruesome discovery, and these two things may or not be related.
We do know that Carly has to deal with the trauma of what happened to her at Ferncliff by Friday, while Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) vow to help Laura. And of course, Ryan has his sights set firmly on Ava.
Not-So-Sweet Revenge
As for Ava (Maura West), she has her sights set firmly on revenge and defends her decision to mess with Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) love life to Scott (Kin Shriner).
Poor Michael
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is even back in the picture next week — sort of. Michael (Chad Duell) and Chase bond over Nelle, which is as good a thing as any to bond over.
Michael also drowns himself in booze after a talk with Sonny (Maurice Benard). Perhaps he can join Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth).
Wedding Woes
Curtis (Donnell Turner) gets disappointing news next week as Stella (Vernee Watson) stands her ground, as always. But at least Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis do some more wedding planning. What a story!
Odds And Ends
In other Port Charles news, Franco (Roger Howarth) throws a kiddie Halloween party, Jason (Steve Burton) gets a sweet surprise, and Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) share dinner.

General Hospital Star Finola Hughes Celebrates Amazing Milestone!

Life has gotten a lot more interesting for Anna Devane on General Hospital, but it can’t hold a candle to the real life of Finola Hughes.
Hughes was born on October 29, 1959 in Kensington, London, England, which means that she’s turning 59 today! At 10 years old, she began to study ballet. In 1980, she originated the role of The White Cat in Andrew Lloyd Weber musical, Cats.
Her first American film role happened when Sylvester Stallone cast her opposite John Travolta in Staying Alive, the sequel to the mega-hit film, Saturday Night Fever. She has also appeared in the films Crazy, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Anton Yelchin, Soap Dish, Aspen Extreme, Above Suspicion, and Tycus.
But it’s her role as super spy Anna Devane on GH, which she landed back in 1985, that won her the hearts of soap fans. She has also played Anna on All My Children — and Anna’s twin, Alex. She has been nominated for seven Daytime Emmy Awards and won one in 1991.

Other television credits include either starring or recurring roles on Jack’s Place, Blossom, Pacific Palisades, Charmed, Dream On, and Tracy Takes On.
She was also the creative visionary behind Finola’s Jewel Box, a bohemian-chic jewelry collection that debuted on QVC in October 2005, where she combined her extensive experience in the fashion industry with her personal passion for eclectic, unique designs.
On the personal front, Hughes is married to artist Russell Young, and they have three children — sons, Dylan and Cash as well as daughter Sadie.

A Stitch In Time Saves – What?
This is another fine mess you’ve gotten us into, Jackie, is what the Abbott family and the Jabot employees might say…if they had a full grasp of the situation.
On the professional front, Jabot has hardly any patents left, which means they can’t manufacture any products, which means they can’t pay their supplies or fulfill their orders…or meet payroll.

(Let’s hope the reason Ravi has disappeared is because he was smart enough to jump ship and take a nice, lucrative job in Silicon Valley.)
Homefront
And on the personal front – oy! Where to begin on the personal front?
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) wants nothing to do with Jack (Peter Bergman). Traci (Beth Maitland) is pouty. Dina (Marla Adams) is stuck in the past…and her fantasy of being a good mother.
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) are at each other’s throats. Some of that is over Summer (Hunter King), but a lot is also about Kyle tempting Billy into gambling again.
So, how can all the king’s horses and all the king’s men ever put Jabot back together again? Could the answer possible be….Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)?
Well, she’s back to being a redhead because those Billy plans didn’t work out. Is it back to Jack? And even more…?
Stick To It
Nick (Joshua Morrow) still wants Sharon. He’s made that clear to her. He’s made that clear to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). So clear that Sharon had to make it clear to Rey that they can’t give anyone the wrong idea about them.
Which will probably just give Nick the wrong idea about his own changes. But Sharon has never been very good at consequences.
This seems like another Sharon and Nick merry-go-round to us, and it’s getting tiring.

Pittsburgh Native Rena Sofer Heartbroken Over Hate Crime

For soap vet Rena Sofer, it was deeply personal as the deadliest attack on Jewish people in United States history took place during Saturday morning services at the Tree Of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
Sofer not only grew up right outside of Pittsburgh and attended school in Squirrel Hill (the community where this latest mass shooting took place), she is also the daughter of a rabbi who led a congregation in Ambridge, PA, also not far from the City of Pittsburgh.
When news of the shooting became a national nightmare to so many across the country on Saturday (as well as to those of us in Pittsburgh, as this writer is a Jewish woman living not far from Squirrel Hill), Sofer took to Instagram to post poignant photos from her childhood, as well as express her grief over what happened.
The following are her impassioned words.

“Today I am angry! As I write this I cannot see past my tears of hurt, sadness, anger, frustration and fear!!! First and foremost my heart and soul is with the entire Jewish community of #squirrelhill and with the #treeoflifesynagogue . This is not just any community to me or any “Jewish” community. THIS IS MY COMMUNITY!!!!
“I grew up right outside of #Pittsburgh but I went to school in #squirrelhill I went to Jewish school in Squirrel Hill. These are my people!! The first picture is of my Father in front of the holy ark at his temple in Ambridge Pa. that is where I grew up. The second picture is of my Brother David and me at the age we were when we moved to Pittsburgh!!
“I remember having Swastikas spray painted on our temple as we grew up there and feeling so unsafe. We always learned about #antisemetism in school but learning about it and experiencing it are two different things. It’s terrifying and you feel unsafe and alienated.
“The third picture is of a bus stop right by my home NOW in Los Angeles. Swastikas scratched into the plastic of a poster featuring a beautiful black woman. And it takes me right back to that fear I felt as a child. 45 years apart and the fear is as strong and painful as the first!!”
“If you don’t understand why this election is so important than look no further than a “President” who calls himself a #Nationalist, who doesn’t have the decency to reach out to an ex President, politicians and government workers to calm their fears or offer support after a mad man who is HIS SUPPORTER sends them bombs in the mail!!
“Who blames the Jews shot in a Temple today, ON THE SABBATH, because they weren’t better armed, who calls Nazis very fine people and who stokes hatred of his opponents and fuels violence against any who contradict him!!
“If that doesn’t scare the Hell out of you then who knows what it will take! It’s time to stand on the RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY before it’s too late!! Make it clear!! This is not ok!!YOU ARE NOT OK WITH THIS!! VOTE LIKE ALL OF OUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT!! BECAUSE THEY DO!!!”
For background, a gunman opened fire on a Pittsburgh synagogue Saturday morning during Shabbat services screaming, “All Jews must die,” according to witnesses and police.
Authorities later found his social media accounts filled with messages that suggested he believed that Jews were helping Central American people violently invade the United States and he felt he had to stop them.
Bowers killed 11 people and injured countless others, including police officers, despite President Trump saying armed guards could have prevented this.
