The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal GC is turning up the heat for February sweeps!

Per published reports, here’s a preview of what’s going to happen next month in the lives of the Newman, Abbott, Ashby, and Rosales families, as well as their friends and foes!
Post-Mortem: Nick (Joshua Morrow) will take a good long look at his dynamics with both Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) now that he knows about their roles in J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) death. (Death?)
Phyllis, who has good reason to hate Victor (Eric Braeden), will continue wanting the mustached mogul to suffer. Meanwhile, Victor battles another unseen foe, remaining firm in his resolve to keep Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) from harm.
A Kiss Is Just A Kiss: Cane (Daniel Goddard) continues to repair the damage his dalliance with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has caused everyone.
His marriage survived his infidelity with the late Juliet (Laur Allen), but can it come back from his smooch with Victoria?
The Next Generation: Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) blossoming romance faces another snag — the return of Summer (Hunter King) from Dubai.
Summer grows dependent on Fenmore’s (Zach Tinker) conflict with Kyle, hoping it can disrupt Kyle and Lola’s relationship!
Meanwhile, elements of the life Ana (Lorna Lott) led while away from Genoa City may come to light. Devon (Bryton James) will come to learn that Ana, like everyone, has goals and things in her past that she prefers people not know!
Rosales Romance: Mia (Neomi Gonzalez) continues to be in conflict over which Rosales brother she wants to be with — Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) or Arturo (Jason Canela)!
Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Arturo’s engagement isn’t sitting well with one person in particular who goes to extremes to keep the two from having a happy future!

THIS General Hospital Star Is An Oscar Nominee!

With the Academy Award nominations out, one former General Hospital star now counts herself among the nominees — a rare position indeed.

Jaime Ray Newman played Alexis’s sister, Kristina Cassadine until her character’s untimely demise due to Luis Alcazar’s bomb
Guy Nattiv, Newman’s husband, produced, wrote, and directed the short film, Skin, which tells the story of a poor man, Bryon “Pitbull” Widner (Jamie Bell), who was brought up by skinheads.
He turns away from them in an effort to transform his life with the help an African-American activist and the woman he loves.
Newman serves as one of the film’s producers. The couple recorded themselves watching the 2019 Oscar nominations being announced on Tracee Ellis Ross (Blackish) and Kumail Nanjian (The Big Sick) on Good Morning America.
You can see below the couple’s joyful response upon learning that their film is nominated for Best Live Action Short Film. The couple will find out if they get to take home gold statues later next month.
The 91st Annual Academy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 24 at 8 p.m ET/5 p.m. PT.

Chemistry Test: Does ‘Stabi’ Have It On Days of Our Lives?

There’s no question that Stefan and Gabi hate each other on Days Of Our Lives.

He blames her for doctoring the paternity test that showed Stefan (Tyler Christopher), not Chad (Billy Flynn), was Charlotte’s father, prompting Stefan to get attached to the baby, then get his heart broken.
Gabi (Camila Banus) blames Stefan for enabling Abigail’s (Kate Mansi) split personality and leading to Gabby’s testimony at Andre’s murder trial.
This lead to Gabi being sent to prison and away from Arianna, where Gabi was attacked and injured to the point where she can’t have more children.
Now, Gabi is furious that Stefan won’t give Gabi Chic back to its creator, like Chad was willing to do. So, Gabi and Stefan are yelling and sniping at each other. Yup, they definitely hate each other, no question about that.
But do you also see some chemistry amongst the hate? Over 8,000 looked closer.
Chem Test
Oh, yes, 54% of you rub your hands together with glee. You can see where this is going. The opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference. And Gabi and Stefan are most definitely not indifferent to each other.
There is so much passion in their yelling, it’s got to turn passionate sooner or later. And, not only that, Gabi hooking up with Stefan would drive Abby and Chad nuts. Both Gabi and Stefan would love that.
Chemistry Fail
We see nothing, 46% of the audience objects. Why is it soaps are so convinced that hate must always turn to love? Why can’t someone be angry and stay angry? Why can’t all that passion be turned towards making the other person suffer?
Gabi would never be so stupid as to fall for Stefan, and vice-versa. Plus, if they hooked up, any chance – no matter how tiny – they each still have of reuniting with Chad and Abigial, respectively, would go up in a puff of smoke.

General Hospital spoilers for the ever-so important February sweeps period show danger, mystery, and even a little romance in Port Charles.

According to published reports, the walls are closing in on Ryan, the baby switch story gets more complicated, and a newcomer returns with some big news.
Smoking Out Ryan
Jordan (Briana Nicole Jordan) finally puts those detective skills to work when she devises a plan to catch the serial killer in the act.
But, Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) is not done. He’s on Anna’s (Finola Hughes) mind as she wonders how they ended up with the same infection, he allows Ava (Maura West) to depend on him more and more, and well, Franco (Roger Howarth)? He ends up hurt in a way he never imagined.
Meanwhile, Laura becomes determined to find out what’s really going on with this man she loves.

Whose Baby Is It Anyway?
Brad (Parry Shen) finally gets to the point where he’s comfortable raising a stolen baby, but that just means something happens that makes him see he can’t keep this secret forever. Will Michael (Chad Duell) finally learn his child is alive?
Cult Classics
As Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) becomes more obsessed and her life becomes more about Dawn of Day, she finds herself in unwitting danger she never expected.
It’ll be up to a newly-reunited (FINALLY!) Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) to dig and find what Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) is really hiding. But, will Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) become way too involved by then, as well?
A Dying Teen
Oscar’s plight brings Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun) closer together, but Alexis really seems to want Kim with Julian (William deVry). Does she think this will help her stay away from her ex-husband.

As for Oscar (Garren Stitt), he continues wanting to live life to the fullest, but will seizures and the reality of his situation stop him?
Mike’s Plight
Just because Sonny (Maurice Benard) has to deal with sending his father to live somewhere else due to his Alzheimer’s, it doesn’t mean he’s not still a mobster. He ends up in quite the dangerous situation in February, but doesn’t he always.
The Prodigal ‘Daughter’ Returns
Jus when Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) thought he could be happy with Nina (Michelle Stafford), Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) pops back up in Port Charles, which leaves Nina with a momentous choice to make.

Who Villy, Villy Wants Victoria and Billy On The Young and the Restless?

They’re together, they’re apart, they’re together, they’re apart, they’re The Young and the Restless can’t live with ’em, can’t live without ’em couple.

No, not Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). No, not Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). This week, it’s Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson).
They were happily divorced, and Billy was shacking up with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), while Victoria was back with JT (Thad Luckinbill).
But, then JT became an out-of-the-blue abusive jerk, and Nikki killed him for laying hands on Victoria.

And Billy found out that Phyllis slept with Nick and dumped her – after a little revenge sex with Summer (Hunter King). Billy and Victoria looked like they were on their way to becoming a happy family again with Johnny and Katie, when Phyllis dropped the bombshell – Billy tried to get her back before he settled for second choice, Victoria.

Heck yeah, 84% of you cheer. These two are meant to be. Unlike Billy and Phyllis, who bring out the worst in each other – including Billy’s gambling and Phyllis’ ruthless side – Billy and Victoria are good for each other.
They make each other want to be better people. So what if Victoria is hiding the secret of what Nikki, she, Sharon, and Phyllis did to JT? Billy, of all people, should understand. He’s done some awful stuff, too.
Villy, Villy Bad
However, 16% of the audience disagree. Billy and Victoria may be good together, but they’re also boring.
They have the same argument over and over again, unable to accept that neither is going to change, even for love. Getting back together again only to break up will hurt Johnny and Katie. Cut your losses, guys.
