At Reed's memorial for JT, Phyllis, believing Nikki is about to confess to his murder, interrupts and provides a distraction in the form of announcing that JT was abusing Victoria. This comes as a shock to those in the group who didn't know, and when Victoria confirms it to Reed, he smashes his father's photo and storms out. Nick is furious with Phyllis, and the situation will drive a wedge between the two.
Rey and Sharon find themselves having to take a motel room when they get stranded on icy roads. Sharon, in the bed, asks Rey, set up to sleep on a chair, “Any idea how to pass the time?”
Kyle tells Lola he loves her. She says she loves him too.
Nikki says to Victor, “I know who killed JT.” Victor shushes her and says, “Don’t you ever say those words again, to no one.”
Phyllis hollers at Victoria that Victor’s just as vile as JT ever was and deserves exactly what he gets. Victoria slaps her.

Abby and Jack have an argument.
Cane receives a letter from Lily, which illustrates to him how far apart they are right now, and this makes him feel guiltier about the kiss with Victoria and his difficulties managing with the twins and Chancellor in her absence. When the twins insist he join them at Victoria's house for Reed's memorial for JT, he and Victoria share a tense moment that is witnessed by Billy, who grows suspicious.

The truth about JT's death will come out and Victoria, Phyllis, Sharon, and Nikki's alliance will be exposed, but this propels them into a bigger mystery. Someone will come forward to take the rap for murdering JT, which further complicates things for the women and takes them in a dangerous direction.
After the truth about JT's death comes out there are repercussions for Phyllis and Nick's relationship as she strives to protect herself.
Rey and Mia continue to try to save their marriage yet she still feels the pull toward Arturo, and Rey has growing feelings for Sharon, who will find it harder to fight temptation where he is concerned.
Billy and Victoria revisit their relationship but complications arise due to the revelation about JT's murder, and the secret of her dalliance with Cane.
Lily's family will find it difficult to support her as she changes as a person to adapt to life in prison.
Michael and Lauren face challenges in parenting their adult son, Fenmore.
Traci continues to be the glue holding the Abbott family together while also supporting others.
Jack romances Kerry, but learns
she's also hiding some secrets.

Hope and Liam's love and marriage will face stressors as they interact with family, and Steffy and Kelly. Consequently, there will also be more conflict between Hope and Steffy.
Bill gets a chance to show his sons that he is there for them and continues to prove to Brooke that he's a changed man, though Thorne still keeps a watchful eye on his parenting of Will. Ridge resolves to put his marriage first, but he and Brooke continue to strongly disagree where Taylor's concerned.
With Sally still hoping to have her own fashion house despite her success at Forrester, and Wyatt having inherited Bill's sense for business, anything is possible as the two move forward in their lives together.
Maya moves forward with her life and is proud of her cousin, Xander, who supports Zoe when Reese's past catches up with him. Emma bides her time in the background as Tiffany helps her with keeping an eye on Xander.
Pam works alongside Donna and seethes about Quinn remaining as Eric's wife.
Steffy goes to great lengths to ensure Kelly's fulfilled, and Taylor's involvement with Reese finds her someplace she never thought she'd be. Taylor continues to worry about Bill turning her in, and the 'who shot Bill?' storyline takes new twists and turns.

Sonny and Will go to John for help in getting Sonny out of the marriage to Leo. Sonny thinks Leo’s mother might hold the key in order for that to happen. Leo’s mother arrives and shakes up another couple in a big way.

Three actors are returning, could be for a special memorial episode, including Christie Clark as Days’ Carrie Brady Reed and Alison Sweeney as Days’ Sami Brady DiMera as well as Brandon Beemer as Shawn on Days.
