Days of our Lives Spoilers Photos: Secrets, Schemes, and Family Drama

Days of our Lives spoilers (DAYS) photos for Thursday, June 24, 2021, are here! Catch a glimpse of your favorite Salemites stirring up drama.

Sami (Alison Sweeney) struggles with her affair secret. Hiding it from her father is hard enough but keeping EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) in the dark is worse. She feels the walls closing in when she catches him having a chat in the square with Rafe (Galen Gering) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). The last thing she needs is all those three buddying up.

Luckily for Sami, EJ has other things on his mind. The couple heads back to the DiMera mansion so he can rally his brothers. Not all of them, though — he has very little to say to Jake (Brandon Barash). Spoilers show they have much work to do if they want to reclaim their father’s company. If things go EJ’s way, Jake will not know what hit him.

Exclusive Interview: Victoria Platt

Dr. Amanda Raynor kidnapped Eli and Lani’s twins on Days of our Lives and felt horrible about it later. For her portrayal of a remorseful physician, Amanda’s portrayer, Victoria Platt has earned a Daytime Emmy nomination this year in the category of Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series.

Victoria Platt — Exclusive Interview

Soap Hub chatted with Platt about her nomination and her roles on other soaps. Veteran Guiding Light fans recall her as Vicky Spaulding, which she played from 1998-2001. Previously, she played Corinne Elroy on All My Children in 1996.

Soap Hub: Congratulations on your nomination! What’s on your reel?
Victoria Platt: Thank you! My character, Dr. Amanda Raynor is an OBGYN and Salem’s resident baby-stealer! I showed on my reel lots of scenes with Paul Telfer (Xander). He was the one blackmailing me and threatening me. In real life, Paul is a beautiful human. Onscreen, when he turns it on [it’s intense!] He would apologize after our scenes [due to the intensity], but I thanked him. We really need to get in there to play.

My reel ends with Ari [Zucker, Nicole] where Amanda is explaining how [the kidnapping] all happened. She’s remorseful and ashamed and embarrassed. Amanda regrets the whole thing. In my reel, you see the threats, the distress, the tears, and the emotional release.

Might we see Amanda on the show again?
She went to jail, so there’s the possibility she can come back. She did some bad things. Hopefully, that’ll help bring me back to the show!

What are your memories of your time on GL?
I really loved that show, which was the show that really was the beginning of daytime, the beginning of soaps as it started out on radio. The show had such a rich legacy. It was awesome to work with people who’d been doing the show for decades. I learned a lot.

Prior to GL, you were on AMC as Corrine?
Yes. For a moment, it looked to me as if my character Corinne was going to get in the middle of [supercouple] Noah [Keith Hamilton Cobb] and Julia [Sydney Penny]. People would stop me on the street and compliment me but they’d say, “Don’t you dare break up Noah and Julia!” It was really intense. People didn’t like that Corinne might have done that.

How great is it that this year’s ceremony is interactive whereas last year’s show was virtual?
It’s incredible! I actually put on shoes today. I’d been walking around in flip-flops for a year and a half. It’s wonderful to get dressed up and be out and be a part of that “pandemic thaw.”

What are the challenges in coming onto an existing show and being a Guest Performer?
It’s challenging. It’s like the show is this moving train and you’re running alongside and you jump up onto. I know I’m in a category with some amazing actors. I’m so honored to be in this group of people.

How’s your husband Terrell Tilford (ex-David, GL; ex-Greg, One Life to Live; ex-Barton, The Young and the Restless)?
He’s great. He’s doing amazingly well. He recently did an episode of Hawaii Five-O. He played a district attorney on DAYS last year. He was shooting at the same time I was. Wouldn’t it be great if our characters met each other and we reunited onscreen?

DAYS’ Lamon Archey — A Primer On His All American Character

While Lamon Archey’s Eli Grant is plenty busy on Days of our Lives keeping wife Lani happy and eager guest Chanel at bay, the actor is also finding some love in primetime.

Days of our Lives Lamon Archey

The actor also recurs as Principal D’Angelo Carter in the CW’s drama, All American. And judging by a recent clip released by the Instagram account for the show, his story is heating up.

“Get to know Principal Carter,” the post alongside the clip reads. “He’s full of surprises.” And if you’re not familiar with the show, the video will help you get to know Archey’s primetime character.

First introduced this season as the superintendent, his character is now interim principal at South Crenshaw High and he means business. A former student at the school himself, and one-time classmates of Corey and Billy, Carter was sent to boarding school after his freshman year due to the bullying culture of the football team.

The clip shows a bit of tension between Principal Carter and Spencer’s mom, Grace James (Karimah Westbrook), who responds to his greeting of “it’s nice to see you again,” with a punching “I don’t like to lie, so I won’t say the same.” Fans of the show know that Miss James calls it like she sees it, and fights for her family above all else.

Later in the clip, it shows Principal Carter and Grace having a “moment,” with him commenting that they’ve gone almost 24 hours without fighting. “There’s still time,” she fires back. There’s some obvious romantic tension there, but would either move forward considering what it could mean to the school and star player Spencer?

The snippet also shows what Principal Carter believes in, displaying a card reading “demanding,” and showing how he’s raising the GPA requirements for all students and offering no special treatment for anyone just because they’re on the football team.

That could mean some trouble down the line for any budding romance, as Grace surely isn’t going to let her son lose any opportunity for a scholarship and a bright future if she can help it.

DAYS Spoilers For June 25, 2021: Sami Worries That Her Goose Is Cooked

The DAYS spoilers for Friday, June 25, 2021, tease Sami Brady going into panic mode, Jake DiMera realizing that his future rests in Kate Roberts DiMera’s claws, and Rafe Hernandez indulging in some NSFW fantasies.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlights

Sami (Alison Sweeney) gets into quite a tizzy when she learns that her husband EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has found a way to contact his sister Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) – and she ponders the possibility that he’s actually heard all about the affair that she had with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) from his big sister’s big mouth.

Do Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that her supposedly new and improved hubby has been playing her all along? And, more importantly, was *GASP* Lucas right?! He’s just gonna love finding that out.

Former Lover, Can You Spare A Vote?

It doesn’t take Jake (Brandon Barash) long to realize that he’s in a prickly predicament. His half-brothers are desperate to see the back of him, and they probably have the votes to oust him as CEO of the family company. But Jake’s a never-say-die kind of guy.

The way he figures it, he can squeak by as long as he has Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) vote. But will she actually nay Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), EJ, and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) proposal?

DAYS Spoilers: Talk To Me

Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) needs Lucas to do her a teensy-weensy solid. Would he, pretty please, admit to sleeping with Sami while they were locked up, together, in the DiMera wine cellar?

It’s not like Nicole is gonna go blab their business to all and sundry – it’s just that she needs something, anything really, to get Sami off her damn back. She’s already carrying the weight of her guilt over her adulterous act…she can’t be carrying Sami’s as well.

Days of our Lives: In the Wee Small Hours

Rafe (Galen Gering) has a dream about Nicole – and it disturbs him greatly. Not because it’s a bloody or violent dream, but because it’s of the shirt ripping, headboard rattling variety!

Fingers crossed that Rafe isn’t the kind to talk in his sleep…Because he’d really have some ‘splainin to do to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) then and that’s trouble he doesn’t want.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Photos: Lusty Dreams and Family Fallouts

Days of our Lives spoilers (DAYS) photos for Friday, June 25, 2021, are here! Catch a glimpse of your favorite Salemites stirring up drama.

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is in the middle of a hot and heavy love story with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) but she’s not the woman of his dreams, literally. It seems Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) is the lady on his mind when he lays his head to rest.

As for the real Nicole, she runs into Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) in the square. Is this Nicole’s moment to put Sami back in her lane? It sure looks like it. Spoilers show Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) makes her appearance from places unknown. Her name is all over the news and she just can’t help but get the scoop.

All the while, the DiMeras meet up with Shin (Remington Hoffman). Jake (Brandon Barash) has to defend his position while his brothers try to strip him of his power. Who will walk out of this hostile takedown with the top spot?

Own Worst Enemy: Will Jake Ruin His Relationship with Gabi On Days of our Lives?

You gotta feel sorry for Days of our Live’s Jake. He grew up thinking he was an orphan. He grew up. He became a mechanic. He dated a crazy woman. He found out he was the long-lost son of a crazy woman. He got to know his crazy family. He slept with his late twin’s crazy widow. He fell in love with an older woman. He thought she’d dumped him. So he slept with the crazy widow again.

Days of our Lives Polling

But, what do you know? Another crazy woman had actually put on an older woman’s mask and broke up with him. Now the older woman is faking blindness, and Jake (Brandon Barash) is trapped between two different kinds of crazy. Bet he’s regretting his decision to move to Salem! With Kate (Lauren Koslow) pushing all his buttons, will Jake ruin what he’s got with Gabi (Camila Banus)? We’ve got the opinions of over 3,000 fans!

Losing Patience

Exactly half of you, 50%, don’t see this ending well if Jake continues to allow himself to be manipulated by Kate. Patience is not Gabi’s strongest virtue. Neither is sanity. If she feels disrespected, she is out of there. And Jake already knows what it’s like to have Gabi as an enemy.

Dim Bulb

A smaller 34% believe Jake is such an idiot, he is bound to screw this up. He claims to love Gabi, but he feels obligated to Kate. By the time he straightens everything out, he’s likely to have no Gabi to return to. And Kate won’t be feeling it much, either.

Under Control

Only 16% are confident that Jake will take care of everything. If he survived Gwen (Emily O’Brien), he can survive both Kate and Gabi. He’ll find a way to end things with Kate without losing Gabi. Everyone will live happily ever after. Until the next crises.

Abigail’s Return: How She Could Stir Days of our Lives’ DiMera House

Abigail Deveraux DiMera left Salem to deal with the fallout from her half-sister Gwen Rizczech’s reign of terror, while actress Marci Miller headed off on maternity leave. When the character resurfaces, the timing will be perfect for her to stir Days of our Lives’ DiMera house, in a way only Abigail can.

Days of our Lives: Jealousy and Affairs

Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) jealousy has always been through the roof regarding his wife; particularly when it comes to his half-brothers. He had ample cause with Stefan and let himself be duped into believing Abigail was cheating on him with Jake (Brandon Barash). When Abigail returns she’ll be living under the same roof as Chad’s big brother, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), the man with whom she’s already had a short but torrid affair.

Surprise Reunion?

The situation could fuel Chad’s insecurities, causing tension and turmoil at the mansion. Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) is also well aware of EJ and Abigail’s past, which could lead to more drama. Could their spouses’ mistrust lead EJ and Abigail back together?

The pair actually have something to commiserate about — Abigail’s healing over Chad’s betrayal with Gwen, while EJ’s bound to learn about Sami’s affair with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). Revisiting EJ and Abigail as a couple is a move that would upend the entire DiMera family.

Business Affairs

EJ, Chad, and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) are determined to secure control of DiMera Enterprises and keep the company away from the black sheep sibling, Jake. Abigail could strongly factor into the mix if she decides to support Chad and use her friendship with Jake to gain insight into his and Gabi’s (Camila Banus) plans. No one would suspect good girl Abigail of double-dealing, hence why she would be the perfect corporate spy.

Days of our Lives: Lady of the Manor

Someone’s going to have to stake their claim as the lady of the manor at Chez DiMera once Abigail, Sami, and Gabi are all living under the same roof. And Abigail’s the perfect candidate for the position. Gabi’s been throwing her weight around for months but is suddenly all consumed with Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) moves on Jake.

Meanwhile, Sami has her hands full with keeping her fling with Lucas from EJ. It leaves Abigail free to slip in as number one. The move would also allow Abigail to regain the strength she’s had in the past and return to the self-assured woman she used to be.

DAYS Spoilers For June 28, 2021: Kate Drops A Bomb On Gabi

The DAYS spoilers for Monday, June 28, 2021, tease Kristen DiMera indulging in the lost art of letter writing, Kate Roberts DiMera coming clean, and Nicole teaming up with a fellow schemer.

DAYS Spoilers Highlights

Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that Kate (Lauren Koslow) drops a bomb on Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Jake (Brandon Barash), which probably means she’ll soon be hanging up that white cane and those dark sunglasses. No doubt her ploy to drive the couple apart was fun while it lasted.

Days of our Lives:  A Poison Pen?

A displaced Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) pens a revealing letter to her loved ones (and we use the term “loved ones” loosely) back home – and boy does she have tea to spill. But where to begin and what to include?

There’s the fact that she knows Sami (Alison Sweeney) cheated on her husband with Lucas (Bryan Dattilo)…oh, and the whole imprisoning Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) on a deserted island thing. And, of course, she’ll probably have sweet nothings for Brady (Eric Martsolf), and a humorous anecdote for little Rachel.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Familial Discord

DAYS spoilers show there’s trouble brewing between the DiMera siblings – which shouldn’t be surprising given what hot-heads EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Chad (Billy Flynn) are. But will they be able to come together for a common good? Or will their warring egos ensure the downfall of the family? Where’s level-headed Tony (Thaao Penghlis) when you need him?

DAYS Spoilers: What Friends Are For

Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) is a woman on a mission – and that mission is to prove that Sami Brady DiMera and Lucas Horton slept together while imprisoned in the DiMera wine cellar. But how to go about uncovering the truth?

Good thing she has a willing partner-in-crime, who’s well versed in committing crimes. But will Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) prove to be more hindrance than help?

DAYS Spoilers: Murder, Mayhem, And A Secret Ready To Explode

The DAYS spoilers for June 28-July 2, 2021, tease Ben Weston’s holiday reverie interrupted by a horrific find, Kate Roberts DiMera forced to accept an ex-husband’s charity, and so much more.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlights

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) begins and ends his 4th of July speaking with his possibly not-much-longer wife Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) – and in between the two events, one of them imaginary, he, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) discover Dr. Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) corpse floating in a lake! That will give new meaning to buzz kill right there!

DAYS Spoilers: Spoiled For Choice

When she finds herself unable to choose between Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Days of our Lives spoilers hint that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) turns to Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) for succor and sage advice.

After weighing her options, and debating some fair points, well made by her best girlfriend, Chloe decides to go all-in with Philip!

Days of our Lives: Change of Address

Having burned her bridges where Jake (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) are concerned, Kate (Lauren Koslow) is forced to look for accommodation elsewhere; enter gallant Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) who offers to let her stay at the Brady Pub. Will he be looking to go down that romantic road with her once again?

DAYS Spoilers: Odds and Ends

In other DAYS Spoilers news, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) does his utmost to bring harmony to the discord between EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), while Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) daughter Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) takes his best friend Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) into her confidence.

Meanwhile, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) continues to bristle anytime the subject of the Horton Town Square (because of her shocking plans for it) is broached. Will she break down and (finally) confess all when confronted head-on about what it is she’s keeping quiet?

Finally, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) receives advice about his love life from an unlikely source, and Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) anniversary party is interrupted by shocking news.

DAYS’ Tamara Braun Talks Daytime Emmys and Mike Manning

It’s déjà vu all over again for Days of our Lives star Tamara Braun. The actress, who won a Daytime Emmy for her role as Ava Vitali in 2009 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series is up again in the same category for the same role!

Catching Up With Tamara Braun

Braun’s actually looking to take home her third award, having won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for playing Dr. Kim Nero on General Hospital last year. Soap Hub recently chatted with Braun about this year’s nod and more.

Soap Hub: Congrats on your nomination! How’d you feel when DAYS invited you back — especially as Ava was dead!
Tamara Braun:
I won my first Emmy in 2009. Ava was a dream to play then and it’s so wonderful to be playing her again. It felt great when DAYS called. I really enjoyed being on the show and am enjoying being on it again. It’s a positive work environment.

I’m always happy to get a call [to join a show]. It means you’re wanted and you get a chance to create. I was curious to know what was involved with the character when they did call. I was excited that she was going to be more layered as she was the first time around.

What’s on your reel?
It tells the story of Ava coming back from the dead. I actually say to Kayla after she says that Ava’s been alive and Joey [James Lastovic] has been in prison for no reason that coming back from the dead is hard — it’s not like on a soap opera. That may have made [voters] chuckle a bit. I put a variety of material on it. It’s the spice of life! There are some scenes that are playful, sassy, intense, and heartfelt. I mixed it up.

Who are you wearing?
Rita Vinieris. I pulled it off the rack and said, “Please, work!” I think it’s working!

What was it like working with Mike Manning (ex-Charlie)?
He’s fantastic I had such a great time working with him. The first day we worked together, we had to do two shows back-to-back. He was so open and so willing to go there with vulnerability, heart, and anger. We clicked.

There’s a familial quality between you two. I can’t put my finger on it.
Maybe that’s what translated? We spoke a lot. We’re only allowed to rehearse [digitally]. We talked about our characters, what happened to them, what their relationship was, and that created a connection between us as actors and as characters.

Would you like to see Mike come back as a twin or double?
Yes! I would love a little doppelganger, Charlie!

The 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards air tonight, Friday, June 25 on CBS at 8 p.m. The awards will stream on Paramount+ and CBS.com

Days of our Lives — The Week Ahead

Even though Paulina Price has received blessings on her new relationship with Abe Carver, she still won’t give Chanel (Precious Way) her full blessing on opening up a bakery. When Chanel starts talking to her mom about the plans Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and she have, Paulina squirms in her seat.

Salem is about to be turned upside down when Claire (Isabel Durant) and Allie find a dead body in the lake! The corpse floating in the water belongs to Dr. Snyder. Will anything about his death lead investigators back to Gwen and Xander? And if it does, will they unravel Dr. Snyder’s drug laundering business? If that’s uncovered, it will surely lead to the discovery of Gwen’s biggest secret… Abigail (Marci Miller) didn’t harm the unborn child, because she’d lost the baby before Gwen fell down the stairs.

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) loves to dream in color and his imagination is vivid (remember the Romeo and Juliet scenes between him and Ciara?), so when he has another dream about his estranged wife, we’re sure it will put a smile on his face. He’ll be even happier when he awakens and realizes his reality just became better than his dreams when he finds Ciara waiting for him at home.

Days of our Lives Recaps: The Board, the Bluff and the Dead

The Days of our Lives recaps for June 21-25, 2021, feature Gwen Rizczech and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) in hot water, Chloe Lane at her most desirable, and the entire DiMera family up in arms.

Days of our Lives Recaps Highlight

After trying, and failing, to convince Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) that there’s nothing wrong with the hospital pharmacy’s pill count, Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) made his way to the Horton house and presented Gwen (Emily O’Brien) with her next drug delivery.

She bristled at continuing to act as Snyder’s mule, and he, in turn, threatened and manhandled her. Xander stepped in, considered inflicting severe bodily harm to the villain, but eventually acquiesced to Gwen’s plea that he not make the situation worse.

However, upon being released, Snyder promptly succumbed to a fear-induced heart attack! Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) arrived on the scene minutes later, though she assumed the man was a drunk acquittance of the pair. Following a run-in with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) – father of the female manslaughterer, and best friend of the male – Xander and Gwen are eventually able to transport Snyder’s body off the property.

Blind Woman’s Bluff

“Blind amnesiac” Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) continued to relish torturing former flame Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), and his current squeeze Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) – but former stepson Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) stood poised to end her fun.

He insisted that she side with him and his siblings – EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) – in their bid to oust Jake as head of the family company…but she knew that such an act would harden Jake’s heart. When she declined his “request,” Chad warned that he’d out her scam.

DAYS Recaps: Chemical Ex

Chloe luxuriated in her new surroundings at the Kiriakis mansion, but her reverie was eventually dispelled by the constant bickering between Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Brady tried to tempt Chloe to return to work at Basic Black – lest he and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) not have to suffer so while toiling alongside Xander – and Philip attempted to entice her with a job offer at Titan.

Yay Or Nay

At the board meeting to determine whether Jake would remain as CEO of DiMera Enterprises, or be displaced, Kate found herself the center of attention – her vote would decide the issue. And in a stunning turn of events, she votes in favor of removing Jake and reinstalling Chad into the top spot.

DOOL Recaps: Turn About Is Fair Play

When Nicole admitted that she’s being harassed by Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney), Xander encouraged her to find something that she could hold over her rival’s head. He even helped her along by insinuating that Sami had cheated on EJ with her ex-husband, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).

Brady chanced upon the pair’s exchange and overheard Xander say that he and Nicole had been intimate. He later asked Nicole for a full account of what transpired.

Moments, Fraught, and Otherwise

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) both shared details of their night of passion – he with good buddy Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), and she with niece, and god-daughter Lani Grant (Sal Stowers). Lani gives her blessing to the new couple.

Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Price (Precious Way) successfully sold their take on Alice’s donuts to Julie, then shared yet another close moment.

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) indulged in a fantasy starring himself and Nicole – despite sleeping in the arms of his current squeeze, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

End of the Road: Is Rafe Really Over Hope on Days of our Lives?

Rafe Hernandez and Ava Vitali are growing closer on Days of our Lives. Some people like it. Some people hate it. And others are wondering whether he is just using the ex-Mafia princess as a way to get over the woman he still really loves – Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Has the top cop really gotten over his feelings for his ex-wife? What almost 4,000 voters told us:

Days of our Lives Polling: Lovely Bones

A winning 42% of you don’t even need to think about it. The answer is obviously, “Nope.” Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Hope were still in love when they broke up. Their issues were over Rafe wanting to adopt David and Hope’s obsession with Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) death. It’s not that they fell out of love, it’s that their lives were going in different directions. Well, now Rafe lost custody of David, and Ciara is back alive. Do we smell a reunion?

Another Woman

A smaller 32% of the audience thinks Rafe is still pining… but it’s not for Hope. It’s for Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). They spent all that time together after Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) left to play Great White Savior. She’s the one he’s trying to forget when he dates Ava (Tamara Braun).

True Love

Only 16% of the fans are buying the Ava romance, but it makes perfect sense to you. Rafe loves to play hero, and he loves to reform the bad girl. Sure, Nicole is the obvious example. But we’re actually thinking back to… Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Rafe doesn’t judge, and always believes in the goodness of everyone. He’s a bad girl’s dream man!

Unrequited

This is probably why the last place 10% are saying forget Ava, Hope, and Nicole, and think Sami. Sure, she’s currently bouncing between Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel), but she’ll get bored eventually, and start looking around for a new conquest. Rafe will always be there!

Soap Hub Performer of the Week for DAYS: Paul Telfer

Xander Kiriakis has been desperate to turn over a new leaf for what seems like eons – but every time he seems to be on the straight and narrow, fate intervenes…and then he’s back to being big bad Xanimal. But whether he’s playing a hero or a villain, a comedic character or frightening brute, actor Paul Telfer – the recipient of Soap Hub’s Performer of the Week Award – remains a firm fan favorite.

Paul Telfer – Performer of the Week

Xander began his workday perusing an adult magazine – you know, for research purposes – and he ended it by helping housemate Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) dispose of a dead body. Highs and lows, as they say.

In betwixt those two diversions, he encouraged co-worker, ex-wife, and blackmail victim, Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) to get some leverage over her rival, Sami “The Teflon Blonde” DiMera (Alison Sweeney) – it’s really Nicole’s only shot at hushing up the woman’s accusations that she cheated on her husband.

Then there was the run-in with his only friend, and landlord, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). Xander tried his best to tell Jack that Gwen, his recently discovered daughter, was a bad apple, but Jack didn’t have the time to listen.

So off for home Xander set – and who should he find at the Horton House but Gwen’s tormentor, Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry)? Neither Snyder nor Gwen cared for the intrusion, and the latter swore she had everything under control…but she was clearly posturing.

When Snyder boldly declared that Xander didn’t intimidate him, Xander decided to do just that – and worse. He grabbed the man roughly, pinned one of his arms behind his back, and held a letter opener to his throat.

For a time, Snyder remained unperturbed; he even corrected his assailant when he confused the carotid artery with the aorta. But he started to panic when Xander admitted:

“You know…I had someone in my life that made me be a good person. Just the thought of her would stop me from crossing the line like this. But, she’s gone now; and I have absolutely no reason to be good anymore.”

Gwen begged and pleaded with Xander to release Snyder, and he eventually relented. Snyder then promptly dropped dead! A debate over their next move followed. Julie Williams’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) arrival threw them for a loop, but she eventually took off none the wiser. More debating.

Xander suggested calling the police; Gwen dismissed the notion – she’s already been accused of one murder, why raise further suspicion? They decided to get the body “out,” as in, not inside anymore.

Jack’s sudden appearance brought a temporary halt to the proceedings – and resulted in the two covering the body with a decorative throw and their own two feet.

Afterward, Xander warned that he and Gwen were now “in this together.” Unbeknownst to the characters, we the fans are also happily along for the ride, due in no small part to Paul Telfer’s continued tightrope walk between being a scary thug and a charming rogue.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Video Preview: Steamy Sex and Divorce Talk

It’s officially summer and things are getting flaming hot on Days of our Lives between past and present lovers. Get ready for some steamy bedroom action between the recently reunited Sami (Alison Sweeney) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). And expect fireworks between Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), when Ciara resurfaces in Salem determined to secure a divorce from the husband she can’t remember.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Video Preview

Here’s your Days of our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of June 28 – July 2, 2021. By the looks of the teaser, it’s going to be all about sex and seduction.

Philip and Chloe: Revisiting Their Past

Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) gets honest with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) about his intentions and feelings. “Do I stand a chance with you?” he asks her gingerly. Well, there’s no better way to answer a question like that, than with a kiss. And Chloe obviously agrees as she plants one on her old boyfriend and former lover’s lips.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Kiss and Tell

Philip and Chloe aren’t the only couple getting busy, so to speak. Despite pretending that he’s still devoted to Kate (Lauren Koslow), Jake (Brandon Barash) remains totally mesmerized by Gabi (Camila Banus), and they share a passionate kiss. New duo Paulina (Jackée Harry) and Abe (James Reynolds) pucker up, too.

Time for Bed

Meanwhile, things really ignite between Sami Brady DiMera and EJ DiMera, with Sami taking total control of the situation. Alone in their bedroom at the DiMera mansion, Sami lets her husband know what she wants, forcefully pushing him onto their bed. At long last, it looks like the couple is ready to reconnect and make love.

DAYS Spoilers: Foreplay and Divorce

Last but not least, Ciara Brady Weston is back in town and wants a divorce. However, her discussion with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) about it is oozing with sexual tension and looks more like foreplay. “Ever since you left I can’t stop thinking about you,” whispers Ben, seductively.

Yet, Ciara holds firm, insisting she wants to end their marriage. “I need you to sign those divorce papers,” she tells her husband. Ben moves in close and whispers, “I burned them.” Will the couple’s close proximity finally awaken Ciara’s passion for the husband she can’t remember?

A Critic’s Review of Days of our Lives: Matters Most Complicated

When it comes to Days of our Lives, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the DAYS week that was.

Days of our Lives: A Critic’s Week In Review

If there was one takeaway from this week’s episodes, it’s that the DiMera family tree is complicated. Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) attempted to help us out with that handy dandy whiteboard; ditto Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) who used chess pieces as stand-ins.

Another takeaway is just how complicated the whole divvying up of company shares has become. Sure, it makes sense that as Stefano DiMera’s heirs Tony, Chad, and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) would have some. And as DiMera widows, it’s only right that Gabi and Kate (Lauren Koslow) would have a stake.

But why wasn’t the same true of Sonia, Benjy Hawk’s widow? Benjy was Stefano’s son, so surely she would have gotten something…right? We do know that Benjy and Sonia’s son, Steven, has shares…do they include Sonia’s?

And what about Lexi Carver, Stefano’s daughter? Did son Theo Carver inherit her shares? Or does he have his own, and Lexi’s passed to hubby Abe (James Reynolds)? Yeah, our head is hurting now too.

But one more q. Why did Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) have to phone in her vote? Couldn’t she just give her proxy to EJ or Chad?

Further DAYS Musings

* While we’re on the subject of DiMera sons, can we just take a moment to delight in the fact that Peter Blake is officially out of jail? And can we now humbly request that he return to Salem and seriously shake things up?

* Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is not a stupid woman. So, with that in mind, how did she not wonder why Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) supposedly inebriated friend didn’t smell of alcohol? In fact, she got so close to the man’s face that she should have been able to tell that he wasn’t breathing.

All that being said, we admit that it was a hilarious scene. In fact, the entire farce, which culminated in Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Xander forced to watch cartoons while Dr. Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) corpse rested at their feet, was the highlight of the entire week.

* Almost as entertaining was Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) first “We Hate EJ” club meeting. Here’s hoping that it will be the first of many… We also wouldn’t mind seeing the two of them actually make that bowling date with EJ!

* Best blink-and-you-missed-it scene: Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) swiping Lucas’s breakfast platter.

* Anyone else of the opinion that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) should just leave both Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) AND Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) in her rearview mirror and find herself a man who doesn’t have the time to act like an entitled brat?

* While it was nice to hear the shoutout to the never-seen Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), it wound up reminding us that it’s been ages since he and his wife Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) have been on our screens.

* Another week, another fraught moment between Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Price (Precious Way). Any chance that the show will actually “go there” with these two?

And in another example of wash, rinse, repeat: Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) gets praised heaped upon her for what she’s supposedly doing with the town square, and then she immediately proceeds to take a furtive walkthrough of said square.

Dear writers, please get to the point with the storyline already!

DAYS Spoilers For June 29, 2021: Eli Has Big Plans For His Missus

The DAYS spoilers for Tuesday, June 29, 2021, tease what seems to be a difference of opinion, a child eavesdropping on a conversation that is none of her business, and a schemer gleefully explaining all.

DAYS Spoilers Highlights

Days of our Lives spoilers warn that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is about to tell his wife a lie – but it’s only of the “little white” variety. As far as Lani (Sal Stowers) is concerned, she and Eli will be celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary at home, over a candle-lit dinner.

It’s hardly the big, bombastic, standing-room-only shindig that she wants, but Lani decides that it’s the thought that counts. But while Lani nurses her disappointment, Eli will busy himself with putting the finishing touches on…a big, bombastic, standing-room-only shindig. Ain’t he just the best?

Days of our Lives: Voices Carry

Another DAYS spoilers reveal, another argument between former marrieds Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) – but this particular war of the words has a captive audience. Wonder what these two will say to daughter Allie (Lindsay Arnold) when she demands an explanation of what she’s overheard?

DAYS Spoilers: A Prison Of Her Own Making

Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) has got nothing but baked goods on her mind. Well, baked goods, and the shop in which she will sell them. The one problem with that? The town square where she is supposed to be opening said shop probably won’t exist for very much longer.

And that’s because mama Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) hasn’t been exactly honest about her intentions. Of course, she kinda sorta feels bad about that, but mama Paulina is all about the Benjamins.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Scorched Earth

Lovers Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) have questions for Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), like, “how could you have voted for Chad DiMera to take back the CEO position,” and “how could you have faked blindness” – and boy does Kate have answers.

In fact, DAYS spoilers warn that Kate goes after the two peons with both barrels. They played her for a fool, and turnabout is very much fair play!

If you want to know what’s coming up, check out the weekly DAYS spoilers which gives details about what you can expect from your faves in Salem this week, including Ben and Ciara seeing each other again when she returns from South Africa.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Photos: Chanel’s Excitement Has Paulina Squirming

Days of our Lives spoilers (DAYS) photos for Tuesday, June 29, 2021, are here! Catch a glimpse of your favorite Salemites stirring up drama.

The Sweet Bits sign is up and the bakery is under construction. Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) couldn’t be more excited. In a few short weeks, they are going to be their own bosses and make a name as solid and successful businesswomen. Well, that’s their plan, anyway.

Paulina’s Price (Jackée Harry) anxiety rises when she runs into the young ladies. Is it time for Paulina to stomp on her daughter’s dreams? Or, will she finally see the light and put an end to her plans for the square? Paulina better take stock of what’s really important in life.

Meanwhile, Chad (Billy Flynn) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) get nice and cozy in the DiMera office. They have the company back in their control but what happens now? Something tells us their family feud is far from over.

Spoilers show Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) heat up the screen. The couple shares some sweet and romantic moments at the office. Is this truly a love that will last forever? That depends on whether or not a secret Eli’s hiding will hurt his marriage.
