The Days of our Lives recaps for March 14 – March 18, 2022, feature grievous body harm, ambition overriding good sense, the Devil passing the buck, and so much more.
Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, March 14
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) tells Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) that he’s investigating her father. When Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) both make waves about appearing in Possessed: The Marlena Evans Story, TR Coates (William Christian) tells them that if they can get Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to let them out of their contracts, he won’t fight him.
Beth Howard (Donielle Artese) visits the SPD and gives Eli a statement concerning TR’s abuse of her and his penchant for taking heroin. Opposite this, TR meets a drug dealer in the park for a handoff. Eli chances upon TR who attempts – unsuccessfully – to dispose of the narcotics he’s just purchased.
Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) effort to convince Johnny not to proceed with his film is for naught. Later, he meets with Allie who wants to discuss the recent upheaval in her life.
Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) warns Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) that Belle Brady (Martha Madison) is possessed by the Devil. After being accosted by Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), Belle heads for the DiMera manse; she finally sees through “Johnny’s” charade; the Devil takes possession of her and greets Marlena at the front door.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, March 15
Eli and TR tussle; the former is shot with his own service weapon. TR lures his drug dealer back to the park, murders him, and frames him for Eli’s assault. Lani and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) arrive on the scene; Lani resuscitates Eli. TR lures Beth to his room at the Salem Inn.
Following a discussion with Will, Allie comes to the realization that she’s bisexual… A possessed Belle goes on the defensive but is knocked unconscious by Johnny whom the Devil resettles into. “Johnny” ruminates on the next phase of his evil plan.
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, March 16
Thanks to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) learns of her Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) predicament. Despite her reservations, Maggie agrees to have her daughter committed to a mental health facility. Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna Fredricks DiMera (Leann Hunley) argue over his humoring of Sarah.
TR offers Beth a quid-pro-quo arrangement: he’ll cast her in Possessed: The Marlena Evans Story if she’ll keep quiet about his drug-fueled abuse. Beth agrees… At University Hospital, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) consoles Lani.
Days of our Lives Recaps: Thursday, March 17
TR isn’t best pleased to learn that Eli is alive. He makes his presence known at the hospital – much to Abe and Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) chagrin. Eli makes it through surgery but then begins to seize… Beth picks Chanel’s brain over how to best approach the Celeste Perrault role… Chanel and Allie agree to a date.
DOOL Recaps: Friday, March 18
Will and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) attempt to conscript Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) into their plan to out Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) as an unfaithful gold digger… Leo encourages Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) to go after the Chief of Staff position at University Hospital – Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) be damned.
Thanks to the Devil’s handiwork, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) concedes that Belle is possessed. He and Marlena ready themselves to perform an exorcism… Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) reconcile.
