Weekly Spoilers: January 16-20, 2023

The Young and the Restless

Kyle gets busted, Jack and Diane get grilled, Victor gets proactive, and Jill gets handed a job that may just be impossible to accomplish: smoothing things over between Devon and Lily.

Week of January 16:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: Victor’s about to do the unthinkable, plus, Chance’s outburst, Tucker’s downfall, Jack’s stupidity, Devon’s big move, and Sally’s secret is about to be exposed!

Monday, January 16:

Hope he’s got a lotta Scotch tape. Victor works to repair his and Adam’s relationship, which at this point has been demolished more times than The Mustache has been married.

Is it the beginning of the end for “Skyle”? When Summer discovers Kyle’s scheming, there’s no way it’s going to go over well.

Devon makes a painful decision — perhaps about un-merging Chancellor-Winters and risking creating a new chasm with sis Lily?

Casting news! Michael and Lauren are about to get the surprise of their lives during a very special episode.

Tuesday, January 17:

His days as a lying rat bastard long behind him, Jack generally tries to be upfront and honest. So it may almost be a relief to him when he is forced to come clean.

When Daniel and Summer share a difference of opinion, it can only be over one thing… or should we say one person: mom Phyllis!

Closer and closer, they just keep getting. Now Sharon helps Chance with some soul-searching. If he looks deeply enough into his heart, will he discover feelings for his new pal that are more than friendly?

Wednesday, January 18:

This oughta be fun: Phyllis calls Tucker’s bluff. Why do we keep thinking that these two would make a great couple. Neither of them can help but land in trouble with every other step!

Jill does damage control with Lily and Devon. But is the mover and shaker fighting a losing battle?

Jack and Diane take a big risk. Honestly, at this point, what’s one more, right? The question is, will the gamble pay off in the way that they are hoping — in other words, paving the way for Jeremy Stark to be out of their lives forever!

Thursday, January 19:

Is hell freezing over? Must be if Victoria and Chelsea manage to reach an understanding.

Sounds like it’s going to be the “Maybe we can still be friends” talk when Billy and Lily clear the air.

Dun-dun-dunnn. Mariah and Tessa return home with unexpected news. The adoption couldn’t be falling through… could it?

Friday, January 20:

Victor encourages Kyle to behave responsibly and honorably, because more than success, those are the things that really matter. Just kidding. The Black Knight urges Jack’s son to play dirty.

Sally struggles with the truth — and perhaps also with a chance to show us how she’s grown. C’mon, Sally, prove to us that you’re not the same scamp who pretended she was dying in hopes of holding onto a boyfriend!

Nikki interrogates Jack and Diane. Which roughly translates to “holds their feet to the fire,” ’cause you know Mrs. Newman has zero patience for the reformed schemer and her one-man support system.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Remember how Jan on The Brady Bunch was always ticked that it was all about Marcia, Marcia, Marcia? Well, newest spoilers for The Bold and the Beautiful are kinda just like that, only instead of Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, they’re all about Sheila, Sheila, Sheila! On every corner of the canvas, the Forresters and Logans are wracking their brains trying to figure out how to deal with the menace to society — and to them, specifically. By week’s end, one of them thinks they’ve come up with a master stroke.

Week of January 9:

Monday, January 9:

Terry has bad news for Michael and Willow, Victor has questions for Nikolas about the north tower, and Sonny makes a discovery that could change everything.

Victor and Sonny have at least one thing in common: Both would say that they put family above all else. So it makes sense that when the Cassadine patriarch needs help with a family matter, it is Sonny to whom he turns.

When Willow and Michael get together with Terry, will she have good news to share with them?

Ava’s got a plan, and who better to share it with than gal pal Nina.

Finn’s been struggling since finding out about Elizabeth and Nikolas’ supposed tryst. He attempts to put his pain aside, but how successful will he be?

When Nikolas talks to Alexis, will they discuss business or personal matters? Or perhaps both?

Tuesday January 10:

Carly is stunned when Drew tells her that Willow has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant, and finally admits that Nina is Willow’s mother. Plus, Dante makes a discovery at Wyndemere, and Victor holds Nikolas’ freedom in his hands.

Laura has always had a soft spot for former daughter-in-law Elizabeth, but today she’s also touched by her loyalty.

Nikolas will probably have a tough time when he’s put on the spot by Victor.

Jordan and Dante put on their detective caps — or at least their badges — and mount a search.

Carly is about to come into some extremely important information, while Drew is in for a major shock.

Wednesday, January 11:

An intense nightmare and confrontation leaves Willow’s life in jeopardy, Drew ends things with Carly, and Joss continues to lean on Dex.

Carly has never been the kind of woman to second guess herself, but she could face a real challenge as today, she has to try and defend what she’s done. How well that goes might depend on to whom she’s mounting that defense!

The downfall of Carly leaves Laura Wright all fired up — and there’s one thing we can all agree on… the “you know what” is going to hit the fan!

Gladys and Sonny have come a long way since first she came to Port Charles. When she turns to him for help, will he come through?

Brook Lynn now knows exactly what she wants and is ready to fight for it.

Cody is about to create a distraction. Given that we met the guy when he literally landed atop Britt at a pool party, we can’t wait to see exactly what he cooks up!

Watch the heartwarming goodbye video Kelly Thiebaud created for Britt fans: “I’m sad to let go.”

Thursday, January 12:

As Willow is in critical condition and running out of time, Carly prepares to tell Nina the truth, and Drew does the same with Michael. Plus, Liz helps Cam deal with his breakup, and Alexis has some career advice for Gregory.

Cameron and Elizabeth have always had the kind of relationship that allows him to speak honestly with his mom. When he does so today, might he be asking her thoughts on his relationship with Joss… who has been spending even more time with Dex than he realizes?

Cody is a handsome, single guy. Sasha is a beautiful widow. Could the discovery that they have a few things in common be a new beginning for each of them?

Sometimes, all a guy wants to do is forget. But Chase will find that more difficult than he’d like thanks to a bittersweet reminder.

Michael’s loved ones gather to offer their support when he needs it most. Meanwhile, Carly must sense trouble coming down the pike, because she steels herself to handle whatever comes her way.

Port Charles will never be the same without nurse Epiphany, and the ABC soap has revealed its plan to honor Sonya Eddy as the shining star that she was.

Friday, January 13:

Nina lashes out at Carly after learning Willow is her daughter, Willow asks Michael to promise her something should she die, and Portia vows to keep Spencer out of Trina’s life.

We don’t think of Sonny as a guy who has a whole lot of regrets. But he gives voice to one today. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Nina, is about to receive a major shock…

Portia has been worried about Trina ever since the hook began attacking those in her circle. But the news her daughter shares will have her more concerned than ever!

Could this lead them to Victor’s secret Paris location? The soap may have just cast the key to “Vanna’s” desperate search for Lucy.

What will Alexis do with the breaking news Spencer shares with her?

Diane heads to the PCPD in order to prove why it is that when smart people in this town find themselves in trouble, hers is the first number they call!

Beloved soap vet dead, Ben Masters, Julian Crane (Passions), Vic Strang (Another World) at 75: COVID claims the actor who created one of daytime’s most colorful baddies.

Week of January 16:

Monday, January 16:

As the truth sinks in, Willow finds herself struggling to believe the latest twist of fate. For her part, Nina remains bound and determined to follow through.

Nikolas consults with Elizabeth as they continue to work toward keeping their stories straight. Meanwhile, when Spencer consults with Diane, is he considering legal action or wanting to talk to the attorney about her brush with the hook?

Curtis isn’t just the man in Portia’s life, he’s also on hand when she needs someone to consult with.

Tuesday January 17:

Chase and Sasha — who of late seem to be spending an awful lot of time together — make their way to the hospital.

Two heads are better than one, especially when they happen to belong to the mother-and-daughter team of Alexis and Sam. (In real-world news, it looks like Alexis’ portrayer, Nancy Lee Grahn, contracted Covid. Sending her wishes for a speedy recovery!)

If there’s one thing we know about Sonny, it’s that he loves to be there when one of the women in his life is in need. In this case, it’s Nina to whom he’s offering comfort.

Victor likes to think of himself as a master of the game, but he’s about to get played by Martin.

Wednesday, January 18:

Suspicious eyes are beginning to look Heather’s way. Although why anyone would take their eyes off a character with her history to begin with is rather baffling!

Nina is feeling anxious as she awaits news that could have a major impact on what comes next.

Ava has always been a woman who chooses her next move wisely… and often surprises those around her. But wait until you see who she’s forming an alliance with now!

There was a time when Michael was considered something of a softie. But he’s developed more of a harsh edge of late, so it’s not surprising that he’s not ready to offer his forgiveness.

It’s time for Valentin to have an honest conversation with Anna so they can clear the air between them.

Thursday, January 19:

Michael has become increasingly discomfited by the bond between Dex and Joss. Is there anything the hunk can say to reassure Michael? At the same time, Joss — who has long worn her heart on her sleeve — is feeling sympathetic.

Sonny launches a pretty intense accusation at Carly, who is wildly offended. (But will she deny it? That’s the real question!)

Austin and Liesl find themselves receiving big news.

When Portia and Curtis go to Marshall with a request, will he grant it?

Friday, January 20:

For months, Laura has been trying to warn anyone who would listen about Victor’s nefarious intentions. Yet somehow, Nikolas is shocked upon finding out what his uncle has done.

Liz and Finn realize they need to sit down for a chat with Violet.

Still hurting after having been dumped by Joss, Cam is in for yet another unpleasant surprise.

Ever wonder what it might be like to see Michael get really, truly, over-the-edge angry? Well, wonder no more, ’cause he’s about to explode!
