The Young & the Restless
Recaps
Devon blindsides Lily and the board, Victor and Jack
question the delivery truck driver, and Victoria accuses Nikki of drinking. Today
the role of the Hardy Boys will be played by… Jack and Victor, uncover a clue
about Harrison’s kidnapping,. Is lightning about to strike twice for Lily and
Billy? We might be a little worried if we were Chelsea, as her boyfriend seeks
to reestablish his connection with his ex. No one will be asking “Who’s the
boss?” when Devon makes a power move at Chancellor-Winters. But in its
aftermath, they may be asking who should be the boss!
Eileen Davidson
reveals what she’s stopped doing as she shares “how it’s going” in her
marriage.
Lily makes a shocking decision, Nikki puts her plan into
action, Victor and Jack get new info, and Lily squares off with Mamie. Victor
takes matters into the only hands that he truly trusts to get anything done:
his own. In the wake of Devon shaking things up at C-W, Jill is forced to manage control with her team. Or shall we just call it what it is, babysitting?
Desperate and growing more so in the wake of Harrison’s abduction, Victoria
helps her mother make a dangerous decision. Will Nikki regret going out on a
limb?
Mega-shocking reveal!
Jordan’s accomplice may be the last person you’d expect — and we don’t mean
Claire!
Ashley’s alter goes on a tequila bender, Traci reunites with
Danny, and Victor pulls a fast one on Jordan! Nikki seeks to make a deal with
the devil herself, Jordan. Of course, reaching an agreement and ensuring that
the madwoman keeps up her end of the bargain are two very different things! Ever
since Phyllis’ Hail Mary play for Danny turned out not to have a prayer, she’s
been in a romantic slump. But that could all change in a heartbeat, with a single
Bold & Beautiful crossover. Technically, if Kyle makes a shocking
discovery, it could just be that he finds Harrison safe and sound asleep in his
own bed. But it’s never the good kind of shock, is it? She apparently has more
facets than a diamond! Yet another side of Ashley emerges, giving her nearly as
many alters as she’s had husbands. (And she’s had a lotta those.)
Another day, another plan of attack against Jordan. One of
these days, one of Victor’s schemes to bring down Claire’s loco aunt will work.
Are we headed for Cole and Victoria 2.0? Could be, as the former marrieds
reminisce about their past. Hope Jack is sitting down when he receives
disturbing news. Will the nightmare into which his family has been thrown ever
end? Don’t count her out! She may have been chloroformed by Victor, but Jordan
still has an ace up her sleeve — and she won’t hesitate to use it! Wondering
where the heck The Mustache got his own personal prison cell?
Can’t wait to see what Traci makes of the new alternate
personality that emerges from Ashley. When Audra makes a promise to Tucker,
he’d be wise to see whether the conniver is crossing her fingers behind her
back. Billy thinks he’s so clever. But he’s not slick enough to get a step
ahead of Devon.
Next Week
Nikki loses control
while Ashley is doing her best to maintain it. At the same time, Devon and Nate
form a scheming team, Victor plays detective, and Summer thinks up someone new at
whom she can point the finger of blame.
In the latest, Ashley’s
new alter, Victor’s harebrained life,e and the seduction that’s guaranteed to be
crazy!
Monday, April 29:
Perhaps since it’s probably not entirely legal to keep a
prisoner in your basement — even if it is Crazy Aunt Jordan — Victor covers his
tracks with Michael.
When Adam and Chelsea receive an update about Connor, will
their son be improving, or will his struggles only have been intensified?
Summer’s been playing the blame game a lot lately. Now she’s
decided that Nikki is the reason that their family is such a mess.
Tuesday, April 30:
Victor interrogates Jordan about Claire’s whereabouts. But
we have a hunch that it will take more than an un-padded cell to get that
whacko to talk!
Since Victoria makes a shocking discovery, we have to wonder
whether she finds out that Daddy Dearest has stashed their family’s “late”
tormentor with the Beaujolais and Merlot.
Ashley receives a surprise visitor.
Wednesday, May 1:
Ah, nothing brings a family together like a mutual foe. In
this case, it’s Billy against whom Devon and Nate strategize.
Guess she must be dropping the accent in front of Alan because Ashley keeps up appearances.
While Ashley tries to keep herself in check, Nikki takes a
turn spiraling out of control. How bad is it?
Pay your respects here to the Young & Restless legend
who just passed away.
Thursday, May 2:
Nikki’s bender is so bad that Jack is forced to take extreme
measures to help his friend and former wife.
You’re not the only one who isn’t keen on every twist of the plot.
Friday, May 3:
“You’d better shape up, my baby. You got that?” Yep, Victor
doles out some tough love to Nikki. (As if he has any other kind of love to
give.)
At the same, Jack faces the consequences of his actions. In
trying to do right, did he actually do wrong by Nikki?
Good thing the Newman sibs are on speaking terms this week because Victoria needs to confide in Nick.
The Bold & the Beautiful
Recap
Liam reminds Steffy of their ‘fierce’ love, and Lauren tells
Deacon the story of Sugar and Sheila. Furthering our theory that we are headed
for a scandalous new coupling, Hope asks Finn a poignant and pointed question
about Sheila. Steffy claps back at Liam for taking Deacon seriously.
Considering that if Deacon is right about his “late” fiancée, Steffy’s
nightmare is far from over, maybe she should take him seriously, too. Perhaps a
new career as a private eye is opening up to Deacon as he dives deeper into his
detective work to prove his theory. Brooke has a strong point of view when she
learns of Luna’s betrayal of R.J. And considering that she once mistook Hope’s
masked boyfriend for Ridge and boinked him, that point of view had damn well
better be, “Hey, accidents happen.” After all that they’ve been through, it’ll
be nice to see Finn and Steffy spend a little bit of romantic time away from
their children. Deacon learns Sugar was released, and Brooke reacts to Luna and
Zende sleeping together.
Casting news… Bold
& Beautiful mystery woman shares a connection to Deacon — and a very
familiar name!
Preview: Finn’s next
move could end his marriage for good!
Deacon works to convince Finn Sheila’s alive, and Hope and
Steffy revisit a touchy subject. Having
found a lead, Deacon requests Finn’s assistance. Smart: Always call for backup,
Deacon. No doubt violating several HR rules, Zende confesses to Carter that
he slept with Luna. R.J. and Luna have an awkward moment while working
together. Oh, kids, you’ll get used to that sort of thing. Just ask literally
everyone else who has ever worked at Forrester!
Explained! Brooke’s
bizarre reaction to Luna cheating on RJ — Plus, what’s next!
Deacon tries to convince Finn Sheila’s alive, and Steffy and
Hope argue about Deacon. Deacon puts the puzzle pieces together and recounts a
crazy story to Finn. Needless to say, all roads will be leading to Sugar being
the actual casualty of Steffy’s stabbing. Steffy and Hope stand united in their
stance on Deacon and Sheila. Although given Steffy’s attitude lately, we’d
half-expect her to decide that she was pro-Deacon and Sheila if Hope said that
she was against them! Ridge gives Brooke good news, and Brooke, in turn,
delivers bad news. Sigh. This is why so many couples just quit talking.
Finn and Deacon embark on a quest to get to the truth. With
May sweeps just around the corner, we have a hunch that they’ll soon find it. The
Forrester family comes together to support R.J. Does Hallmark make a “Sorry
your girlfriend accidentally boffed someone else while high as a kite?” card.
Next Week
Sheila’s “Big Daddy”
and son are on the way.
A Dream Team?
With his online sleuthing, Deacon discovered a
major piece of the Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) puzzle. Although Lauren told him
that Sugar was in jail, Deacon found a news story about how the prison released
Janet Weber — aka Sugar — for good behavior. That means Sugar’s body could have
been going into the furnace with ten toes, not Sheila’s.
Though Deacon is used to operating solo, he seeks an ally in
his follow-up efforts to find Sheila. He approaches Finn, believing that he has
some feelings for Sheila and would want to help. Deacon tells Finn the whole
history of how Sheila tricked Sugar into having plastic surgery to look just
like her. Can Finn really believe this crazy story? Nonetheless, he appears to
feel for Deacon and signs on for the chase.
Steffy and Hope remain resolute
in their disbelief of Deacon. Usually on opposing sides, Steffy and Hope are
united in thinking there is no way that Sheila can be alive. Perhaps they both
don’t want Sheila to be alive.
Mint Mistake Fallout
Meanwhile, Brooke delivers bad news to Ridge, just as he has
good news for her. Most likely, Brooke spills the beans that Luna mistakenly slept
with Zende. So much for keeping it under wraps as RJ wanted and protecting
Luna’s reputation.
Luna and RJ were poised to be the next supercouple. Are they
now doomed? Will they ever regain the pure, unsullied glow of young love?
Moreover, how Will Ridge react to finding out that Zende came between Luna and
his son?
How does a homeless
man named Tom know Sheila?
Finn and Deacon’s
search to find Sheila Carter amps up. The pair crosses paths with some unknowns
on the B&B canvas who could point them toward Sheila. Meanwhile, back at
home, the Forresters rally around RJ to support him through his relationship
crisis with Luna. It should be a climactic day you don’t want to miss.
Meet Tom and Michele
Finn really wanted to put this whole Sheila thing to rest.
Even though he has some connection to his biological mom, Finn wants to focus
on his bigger priority: his wife Steffy, and their family. However, Deacon
didn’t give Finn much of a choice. He simply wouldn’t take no for an answer.
Finn, your birth mother could still be alive somewhere out there!
Deacon’s detective work on the computer may provide a
starting point, as well as all the info he got about Sugar from Lauren Fenmore.
The pair set off on a quest to find the truth and meet two people who provide
some clues. There’s Tom, He is a homeless man with relevant details about the
mystery. Then, a woman named Michele We can’t wait to discover how these two
strangers know anything about Sugar and Sheila!
Forresters Unite
It seems like everyone feels bad about what happened with Luna
and RJ. Their first reunion at work was awkward and painful. RJ admitted that
she still loves Luna, but he can’t get the image of her in bed with Zende out
of his head. What a hard place emotionally to be.
While Brooke wound up being more understanding of Luna than
we predicted, she was downright incensed at Zende. There is no understanding
there. Ridge will probably come down hard on Zende, as did his buddy Carter.
Whether the Forrester clan gets up in arms and goes after Zende remains to be
seen. What is for sure is that they gather to provide support to RJ
collectively. With all of this family support behind him, can RJ find a way
back to Luna?
Can you say awkward?
RJ and Luna are
uncomfortable together at work now that the truth about her and Zende is out.
Zende admits to Carter that he had sex with Luna. Meanwhile, Deacon has a lead to
find Sheila and asks for Finn’s help.
Hope for their
Relationship?
There’s a reason you shouldn’t date your co-workers. If
things don’t work out, you will still face that person daily. That’s where Luna
and RJ are. While their relationship status remains in the air, Luna and RJ
must still work together at Forrester Creations on Hope for the Future. With
Zende. It sounds like a recipe for embarrassment.
Will Luna and RJ still be able to work competently with all
this interpersonal messiness in the way? Will RJ be able to move past the hurt
if he sees Luna a lot, or will it be more of a painful reminder?
In the interest of full disclosure, Zende tells his pal, Carter
that he not only pursued Luna, he actually slept with her. Given how Carter
reacted to just the first part of Zende’s story, we don’t think Carter will
have much understanding. Zende, you don’t sleep with your cousin’s girlfriend!
Deacon Asks for
Finn’s Help
By now, Deacon knows that the key to finding
Sheila has something to do with Sugar. As crazy as the whole backstory sounds,
those messages on Sheila’s computer from Sugar reveal that their connection
continued. Deacon turns to the one person he thinks will help him figure out this
puzzle: Finn. Will Finn agree to assist Deaon in finding his biological mom? Or
will he go home to his wife and try to forget what Deacon says?
General Hospital
General Hospital is
good for what ails you — unless, of course, you’re one of the resurgent ABC
soap’s characters. In that case, yikes, we feel for ya! Since the daytime drama
made its debut on April Fool’s Day 1963, the denizens of fictional Port
Charles, NY, have been stricken with countless maladies, beset by the Mafia, and
suffered more broken hearts than even OG chief-of-staff Steve Hardy could mend.
Heck, they’ve even endured a mad plot to freeze the world! Yet they keep coming
back for more, and so do viewers. Maybe the lot of us is equally addicted to
the suspense, knowing as we do that around any given corner of Port Charles
could lurk grave danger or true romance.
Recap
Complications arise during Chase and Brook Lynn’s
pre-wedding celebrations — and a cry for help sends [Spoiler] out the door. Nina
accuses Ava of wanting Sonny to herself, Sam and Jason disagree about Danny,
and Carly and Sonny argue over Jason. Sonny and Carly fans may want to look
away because the couple — whom many hope to see reunite — are about to go at
it. And not in a sexy way. Nina makes a discovery, but will it be something
she can use to her advantage? Sam makes it clear to Jason that he is to stay
far, far away from their son. (Wonder how Danny will feel about that?) They
haven’t spent much time together of late, but Drew is about to reconnect with
Willow. Lois proves she’s not the only member of her family who knows a thing
or two about Deception. Maxie, get ready to be impressed!
As the soap leads up
to the big Cody/Mac reveal, Josh Kelly books a new job — and his background
before he became a daytime star makes him the perfect person for the role!
Brook Lynn and andase’s parties bring drama for Kristina, Joss, and Dex. As the countdown to Brook Lynn’s wedding begins, today her bridal
shower kicks into high gear. Meanwhile, Chase’s bachelor party is also
underway… and it involves the throwing of dangerous weapons as well as a most
unexpected guest! Tracy might be one of the most guarded people to ever reside
in Port Charles. So who manages to bring her walls down a bit today? Remember a
few weeks back when Kristina and Josslyn got into a verbal altercation? Well,
get ready, because here comes round two!
Fan favorite Sean
Blakemore is set to take aim once again — and you won’t want to miss the
details surrounding his television return!
A health scare for Gregory causes wedding panic, and Jason
promises to protect Dex for Joss. Will the wedding hit a snag when Chase and
Finn discover that their father is having a medical crisis? Sam can’t help but
worry about Danny and how he’s coping with recent events. Josslyn has a revealing
conversation with Jason. Could Jordan and Drew, who spend a little time
together, realize that they are both very attractive single people? Even
as he prepares to start his new job, Dex can’t help wondering if he’s made the
right decision.
Jason threatens Sonny over Dex, and Nina warns Kristina
about Ava. Sonny’s having a heckuva week. He started it by getting into a fight
with Carly, and now Jason is getting in his face. TJ has recently been
expressing — if only to Marshall — concern about the decision to let Kristina
be his and Molly’s surrogate. Those fears are revisited in the wake of
Kristina’s latest actions. Meanwhile, Kristina finds herself increasingly
worried about her dad. Drew and Carly share a moment… but not necessarily the
kind that will lead to a reunion. Trina may have lost Spencer, but she manages
to stay close to his family as she and Laura care for Ace.
They’ve navigated the tricky waters of a difficult
friendship for years, so what prompts Laura to decide that she can’t forgive
Sonny? Nina and Carly may not be fond of one another, but they do come together
over a mutual concern. Might Nina tell Carly her suspicions regarding Ava? When
Finn and Gregory butt heads, it seems safe to assume it might well be over the
older man’s medical condition and how it should be handled moving forward.
Molly turns to Alexis for help. When Sasha receives an unexpected offer, will
she accept?
Next Week
Anna continues to
pursue a truth she may not really want to face, while Sonny issues a warning
regarding Dex. Elsewhere, Josslyn turns to a friend when she needs to confide
in someone, and Drew seems poised to kick off a major new project.
Monday, April 29:
We may finally get a bit more insight into what’s really
going on with Ava when she pays Nikolas a visit and chooses to confide in him.
Anna hopes Jason may help her uncover the truth about
Valentin. But will she ultimately wind up regretting this decision?
Willow is about to receive an offer that could prove
life-changing.
John mixes it up with Jason.
Nina may find herself giving in to temptation!
Tuesday, April 30:
Will Dex answer honestly when he’s put in the hot seat by
Jason? Should be interesting to watch two of Sonny’s former employees interact!
Natalia isn’t exactly one to bite her tongue, so she’s ready
to tell Maxie everything that’s on her mind regarding Blaze and her role at
Deception!
Sasha needs comfort, and she knows that Cody will be able to
provide it for her.
Drew and Nina continue to walk the treacherous line that
exists between them when he asks a favor of her.
Valentin has a proposition for Anna.
Wednesday, May 1:
Nina hasn’t had the best run of luck lately, but she’s
feeling both hopeful and optimistic today!
So far, we’ve seen Natalia deal with Sonny quite a bit. But
today, she’s going to pay Kristina’s other parent, Alexis, a visit!
TJ continues to think he and Molly made a mistake in asking
Kristina to be their surrogate. Could Kristina lose TJ and Molly’s baby?
Thinking quickly, Maxie comes up with one of her famous — if
not necessarily foolproof — plans.
Why does Elizabeth fret about Aiden?
Thursday, May 2:
Does the fact that Willow is suddenly questioning her career
choices have anything to do with the chat she and Drew had earlier this week?
Cody and Sasha finally decide it’s time to have a
cards-on-the-table kind of conversation about their budding relationship.
Will Tracy be open to the advice Gregory offers?
Lois is not only in daughter Brook Lynn’s corner but steps
up to the plate to coach her!
Friday, May 3:
Sonny is clearly still feeling betrayed by Dex, which would
explain why he warns his son Dante about the guy.
Carly comes to a realization regarding Sonny. (Might she be
the person who finally figures out what’s really going on with him?)
Concerns about Kristina are weighing heavily upon several
members of her family.
To whom is Drew about to pitch a brand new business project?
Josslyn takes Trina into her confidence.
Days of Our Lives – Peacock
“Like sands through
the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives” is the saying that begins every
episode of the Peacock soap, which premiered on NBC on November 8, 1965. And at
this point, the late, great Macdonald Carey’s voiceover is about the only thing
that hasn’t changed over the years about the show. Today's Salem is an
anything-goes kind of small town in which big businesses come to metaphorical
blows (and their execs, literal ones!), high-tech masks can transform anyone
into anyone else, and death is a reversible condition. Thankfully, Days
of Our Lives beating heart also remains the same: love, family, friends… and
OK, the occasional baby swap, too!
Recap
Stefan blocks Ava from finding Clyde’s book and then faces
Harris’ wrath. Paulina didn’t score
any points with Abe and Kayla by rushing off to try and help Chanel! Meanwhile,
given that the honeymoon was a complete and total bust (to say the least),
Johnny decides the least he can do is surprise his new wife! With Clyde breathing down their neck,
Harris and Ava attempt to reclaim the crime boss’ little black book from the
Bistro. Kate thought by now, her
son’s name had been cleared. Will venting to Roman about the situation help?
Eric connects Sloan to the Salem Inn, Theresa’s news
infuriates Alex, and Nicole ponders her future. Sloan had to know this was
coming: Eric calls her out because their budget is definitely out of
whack. She’ll have to think fast to cover her tracks! Cue the
bow-chicka-bow-bow music, because Theresa is going to steam things up by giving
Alex a massage! In case there are any questions whatsoever about the future of
DiMera Enterprises, EJ fills Kristen in on his plans for the family business. Brady
and Nicole manage to share a nice moment reflecting on their friendship.
Fans can wonder no
more: Kristian Alfonso is bringing Hope home.
Everett's, or should we say Bobby’s, behavior sets Stephanie
on edge, and Kristen targets Wendy while investigating Li’s murder. Kristen and
Stefan ponder who might have killed Li, running through a list of suspects
which will likely include one another. (As for us, we’re willing to bet he’s
not really dead. After all, Salem’s not the kind of town where death is
permanent!) When Tripp plans a surprise for Wendy, will they wind up on the
same page? Their last effort at finding the little black book having proven
fruitless, Ava and Harris give it a go once again! Rafe has no time to play
good cop, so he slips into bad cop mode as he issues a warning to Stefan.
Alex and Kristen hit the sheets, and Maggie asks Konstantin
to sign a prenup. Sarah and Xander have been through enough that nothing should
shock them. But Maggie proves that’s not true by revealing her intention to
marry Konstantin! Meanwhile, the groom-to-be is doing everything he can to
drive a wedge between longtime pals John and Steve. (Good luck with that,
dude!) Kristen suggests that she and Alex spend a little time together. As in…
the night! When Theresa says she feels like a big ol’ failure, will Brady
convince her otherwise?
Sloan panics upon hearing Dimitri is being released from
prison, Eric doesn’t trust the answers he receives, and Chanel’s not feeling
herself. Determined to find answers to his and Sloan’s financial problems, Eric
decides to follow the money… only to have it lead him to the Salem Inn and Leo!
Nicole hopes that Chad might consider hiring her to work at The Spectator. Paulina
reads EJ up one side and down the other! Johnny and Chanel are looking for a
new place to live. (This being a soap, what do you wanna bet they wind up
moving into a set we’re already familiar with?
Next Week
News of Maggie’s
engagement spreads throughout Salem, and let’s just say her loved ones have the
same reaction most of you are having! Meanwhile, Theresa is called in for an
assist, Marlena thinks a patient is ditching therapy too soon, and John is
given new orders!
Monday, April 29:
Maggie has proven smarter than Konstantin probably thought
she’d be. But can Theresa help get him out of the prenup Maggie wants him to
sign?
As Brady prepares for Rachel’s upcoming field trip, he and
his daughter share a few lovely moments.
Are Tripp and Wendy really leaving Salem? It sure sounds that
way, especially as they’re saying farewell to everyone they know and love!
Kayla thinks it’s time for Steve to set the record straight
with John.
Tuesday, April 30:
It wouldn’t be Salem if someone wasn’t having their brain
taken over by someone else! Fully under Konstantin’s control, will John carry
out the orders he’s being given?
Marlena clearly disagrees with Everett’s decision to bring
their therapy sessions to an end.
Looks like spending time out in that snowstorm may be hurting Chanel, leaving Johnny and Paulina to fret when his new
bride falls ill.
Julie finds out about Maggie’s plan to marry Konstantin and,
this being Julie… well, let’s just say she has thoughts on the matter!
Wednesday, May 1:
Like many couples in this country, Eric and Sloan find
themselves fighting over money. Of course, most people out there probably
aren’t using the rent money to pay off blackmailers…
Nicole gets a bit of surprising news about Eric.
Chanel’s getting sicker by the day.
Being a DiMera, EJ knows a thing or two about holding a
grudge. So needless to say, he’s out to make Paulina pay for having
disrespected him!
Thursday, May 2:
Things go from awkward to comfortable between Eric and
Nicole… maybe a little too comfortable?
Sorry, Leo, but it sounds like Sloan’s putting the brakes on
your gravy train!
Stefan and Kristen’s plan to boot EJ from DiMera Enterprises
picks up steam.
Although Marlena is reluctant to talk to her former husband
about the current Mr. Doc, she eventually opens up to Roman about her concerns
for John.
Ava and Harris continue to hunt for that darned black book!
Friday, May 3:
Eric decides it’s time to get to the heart of the matter But
how will Sloan respond when asked, point blank, if Leo is blackmailing her?
Meanwhile, Leo fills EJ in on a secret that definitely falls under the category
of “life-changing”!
Nicole opens a vein and spills her guys to Marlena about
everything from her divided feelings to the difficulties she’s had raising
Holly.
Much like Julie, Marlena and John are less than thrilled to
learn that Maggie plans to become Konstantin’s wife!
