Days of Our Lives Alum Jen Lilley To Star In 2021 Hallmark Movie

Move over Candace Cameron Bure and Alison Sweeney. The Hallmark Channel recently revealed its “New Year, New Movies” programming event, and among the five all-new features is one staring Days of Our Lives alum Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa Donovan), one of Hallmark’s hardest working ladies.

Jen Lilley: New Year Hallmark Movie

Lilley is set to appear in Snow-kissed, described by Hallmark as the story of a “travel-averse journalist” who “chases her dream assignment where she unwilling finds herself mentoring a handsome B&B owner who wants to be a tour guide.”

The flick, which also stars Chris McNally (a Canadian born actor most known for his work on the Hallmark Channel original series When Calls the Heart), is scheduled to air on Saturday, January 30, at 9:00 PM.

Snow-kissed will mark Lilley’s seventh appearance in a film produced by the Hallmark Channel. Her most recent contribution was USS Christmas, released as a part of the channel’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” event.

In that project, which concerned the exploits of a small-town reporter embarking on a Holiday Cruise, Lilley appeared opposite Trevor Donovan, a fellow Days of Our Lives graduate.

The movies Taking a Shot at Love, A New Year’s Resolution, Two for the Win, and Love in the Alps, will round out Hallmark’s January slate.

Though she’s been a busy bee in the intervening years, Lilley is still fondly remembered by the daytime community for her work on both DAYS and General Hospital. In the latter, she was a substitute for an ailing Kirsten Storms who plays fashionista Maxie Jones.

In the former, Lilley portrayed Theresa, daughter of famed supercouple Shane and Kimberly Donovan. She initially reigned hell down upon the unfortunate Salem folk between 2013 and 2016, though she did return for a brief, three-month story arc beginning in July 2018.
