The Young and the Restless

A crisis involving Chelsea leads to Adam leveling new accusations at Billy, Amanda’s life becomes a hotbed of emotion, and Phyllis eyes another run at the altar with Nick even while plotting against his sister.

Young & Restless spoilers for Friday, January 1:

Young & Restless will air the encore episode from December 30, 2019 in which Victor and Nikki celebrate the New Year in style, Phyllis flirts with Chance, and Nick makes a shocking decision.

Young & Restless spoilers week of January 4:

Y&R Soapbox: Best and worst of 2020 includes scandalous indiscretions, pointless plots, and questionable front-burner fodder, and anticipating a Phyllis-Kevin caper and wondering what’s up with Elena and Nate.

Young & Restless spoilers for Monday, January 4:

2020 wasn’t particularly great for Adam, and it looks like the new year isn’t starting any better as he gets a bit of shocking news regarding Chelsea.

Riding high on their newfound ability to work through difficulties rather than cut and run, and perhaps inspired by Sharon and Rey’s New Year’s Eve nuptials, Nick and Phyllis once again broach the topic of marriage. Would the third time be the charm where these two are concerned, or are they just asking for trouble?

Young & Restless spoilers for Tuesday, January 5:

A mogul’s work is never done! Just back from having spent the holidays in London with Nikki, Victor immediately finds himself having to deal with a situation that requires his personal attention.

Amanda’s emotional journey only seems to get more difficult as she feels compelled to make a painful decision. Will a certain handsome gajillionaire be there to offer his support?

Having overheard the truth about her hard-knock life when she opened up to Lauren, Jack is there when Sally is in need of protection. (Which makes us more convinced than ever that the show might be going exactly where we’re kinda hoping they don’t!)

Young & Restless spoilers for Wednesday, January 6:

On the heels of a frightening medical crisis, Chelsea struggles with what appears to be her new normal.

Devon has been a pillar of strength and advice for his late wife’s twin as she has searched for answers about her past and dealt with the ramifications. So in the wake of the emotional decision she faced yesterday, he is once again there when she needs someone to lean on.

Ever notice that sometimes, Phyllis is her own enemy? It definitely feels like that might be the case where her latest battle with Victoria is concerned… especially given that she’s waging it even while talking marriage with Nick! When Kevin provides the redhead with exactly the kind of ammunition she needs, will she use it or might cooler heads prevail?

Young & Restless spoilers for Thursday, January 7:

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that Adam isn’t particularly big on taking responsibility for things. So it will surprise absolutely no one that he’s laying the blame for Chelsea’s condition squarely at the feet of his least favorite person, Billy.

In what might be a case of too little, too late, Lily wonders if mixing business and pleasure might be a mistake.

When Kyle moves to protect his interests will he be looking out for his job, his fiancée, or his father?

Young & Restless spoilers for Friday, January 8:

In a twist that is sure to infuriate Jack’s son, Billy hijacks Kyle’s plans.

When Amanda receives a stern warning will it come from a client, a family member, or a rival?

Watch for sparks to fly between Elena and Nate, who have been on simmer since their tryst in the clinic. Does anyone else wonder if it might be Amanda’s growing closeness with Devon that fuels Elena’s fire?

Steffy’s been on tenterhooks since she and Liam reunited for a night of passion, and has gone to great lengths to keep the secret from coming out. But when the pair finally comes to an agreement and makes a life-changing decision about the future of their extended family, what will it mean for their relationships with Finn and Hope?

Thomas continues to battle shame and regret, which leads him to make a heartfelt apology to Hope for having caused so much tension in her marriage to Liam. Will his sincerity cause Hope to begin seeing him in a new light?

Bold & Beautiful spoilers for Thursday, January 7:

Zende’s irked after he learns that Zoe’s managed to push her sister out of both Los Angeles and Forrester Creations. When the up-and-coming designer decides to try and prevent Paris from leaving town, will he reach her before it’s too late? And does the fact that he’s compelled to do so mean that he might be developing feelings for the beauty?

Been there, done that many times before! Red flags start flying all over the place for Hope when Liam says he has big news to share… and then begins to stall.

Bold & Beautiful spoilers for Friday, January 8:

Although it’s probably against her better judgment, Steffy — having come to a conclusion with Liam — decides it’s time to tell Finn the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Or at least that’s the plan… until Finn begins talking about the future he imagines for them. Will she really pull the rug out from beneath him by admitting she slept with her ex?

Liam and Hope’s shared belief that together they can overcome anything is about to be put to a major test as they face a seemingly impossible challenge. Will this spell the end of Lope forever?
