Weekly Soap Spoilers/Recaps: February 28-March 4, 2022

The Young and the Restless

Victoria takes a gamble that’s sure to catch Daddy off guard, Victor makes good on a threat (which is gonna be very, very bad for Ashland!), and Sharon and Phyllis take turns dropping truth bombs on their exes. What’s more, Michael’s in so far over his head that Lauren fears he might lose it!

Week of February 28:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics include: February Sweeps biggest flops, Victor bringing [Spoiler] in on the fight against Ashland, what should be happening with Devon/Abby/Chance/Amanda, and — look out — it’s merger madness ahead!

Monday, February 28:

As Lily calls a meeting of the minds, it could include anyone from Devon to Nikki, who so kindly shared words of wisdom and advice about the new career path on which she was embarking. The question is whether or not the issues Neil’s daughter is struggling with are related to Chancellor Industries… or is it a family matter?

Let the fireworks begin! Amanda and Imani share a difference of opinion, which we all know will be an, ahem, spirited exchange. Will these two determined and strong-willed sisters be able to reach a compromise?

Jill offers words of wisdom, and it just may be Lily who is on the receiving end of the invaluable advice. We have a feeling that Billy’s significant other will handle whatever she’s dealing with in a New York minute as her confidence in her new position only grows.

Tuesday, March 1:

Victor’s quest to protect his empire becomes even more of a family affair when he tests Nick’s loyalty. Will the son who wants nothing to do with the corporate intrigue still come through for his dad when it counts the most?

On the heels of the shocking news that he and Phyllis uncovered, Jack calls a family meeting. Will it be related to the heartbreaking update on Keemo? And in case you’re still confused about where the character fits in the grand scheme of things.

When Nikki questions Victoria’s decision-making, will it make the headstrong CEO think twice — and perhaps change course? Or will she barrel ahead with her plans despite her mother’s word to the wise?

Wednesday, March 2:

The battle that’s been brewing between two titans of industry comes to a head when Victor gives Ashland an ultimatum. Will the Locke Ness Monster bend to The Black Knight’s will in order to save his marriage?

Like Victor doesn’t have enough problems! Things under the Newman umbrella go from tense to, well, way tenser when Adam tangles with Victoria. As they go toe to toe, which of the sibs will emerge the, ahem, victor?

She’s such a sweetie! Tessa provides Mariah with a much-needed distraction… but we have to wonder why the redhead is in such desperate need of a diversion in the first place. Too much wedding planning?

Thursday, March 3:

It could be a dark day for Ashland Locke when Victor follows through on a threat. What are we saying? Could be?!? Ha! It’s destined to be a day that lives in infamy — and one that Ashland regrets for the rest of his life.

Unsurprisingly, since he’s been so devoted from the outset, Devon protects Dominic’s best interests. But will the move he makes leave someone else’s nose out of joint?

In a twist that Victor may not have foreseen — oh, who are we kidding; he’s always 10 steps ahead — Victoria makes a dangerous decision. The question is, what will be the nature of the threat against her as she takes such a risk?

Friday, March 4:

Red to the rescue! In a move that’s kind of her specialty, Phyllis give Jack some tough love. Will it be enough to snap him out of the spiral he’s undoubtedly found himself in?

When Sharon gives Nick a warning, it’s almost certainly going to involve the slippery slope that is getting in too deep with his family’s troubles. After all, isn’t it always?

The game continues as Victor plots his next move, and we have to wonder if he’s finally met an opponent in Ashland Locke that he can’t outmaneuver. Silly us, of course he hasn’t.

Meanwhile, what does the recent revelation about Ashland tell fans of “Ashtoria”? We have a feeling we know, and we’re not too keen on it. Our interpretation here.

Week of March 7:

Monday, March 7:

Push comes to shove — we hope not literally! — as Ashland calls Victor’s bluff. Since we’ve never seen an ultimatum the Mustache would shy away from, we expect this to lead to a dramatic outcome.

Working through the pain, Jack shares his regrets with Phyllis. We can’t help but think that these two kids will be holding hands when this emotional roller coaster the Abbott heir is on finally comes to an end.

Uh-oh. Confirming her worst fears about her husband going back to work for Victor, Lauren finds herself in the position of having to worry about Michael’s safety.

As Victor and Ashland go head to head...

The Bold and the Beautiful

Not one, but two, tag teams tee up showdowns, Brooke seeks comfort from probably the last person she should, and Sheila shoots herself in the foot — metaphorically, we should note — by forgetting that silence is golden.

Week of February 28:

Monday, February 28:

Ah, there it is… Sheila taunts Brooke, who is convinced that her marriage is not over. Well, we’ve got some bad news for her…

Ridge wastes nary a second getting over the loss of “his Logan” — not to mention his destiny — as he, Steffy, Taylor and Thomas rejoice together as a reunited family. Sheesh, this cat moves faster than cheetah toward an injured antelope! Meanwhile, all we can think is, “Oh, Taylor, no.” Ridge has shown her a zillion times that he’s just not that into her. In fact, we created a whole photo gallery to illustrate why she should run, not walk, in the other direction. You can check it out below — and we urge her to do the same!

Tuesday, March 1:

As Carter and Paris share a fun moment after their special night together, all we can think is, “Uh-oh. When is the other shoe gonna drop?” ’Cause we all know happy can’t stay happy for long on a soap!

Rejoicing in her comeuppance, Sheila spars with Brooke. Clearly, the madwoman has never heard the old saying about loose lips sinking ships, because her tendency to gloat is all but guaranteed to be her downfall. And how silly will she feel if she makes our prediction come true!

Wednesday, March 2:

Oh, this oughta be good! During a heated confrontation with Brooke, Taylor gives as good as she gets. Given the decades of acrimony between the rivals, this face-off could last for days. And we’d be fine with that, by the way!

At great personal risk of having his face rearranged, Deacon gives in to Hope’s request and pays Ridge a surprise visit. We would’ve gone with a phone call instead. Zoom at best. But that Deacon, he does like to live on the edge, doesn’t he?

Thursday, March 3:

Drat. Apparently, Brooke and Taylor’s showdown is already over, because today, Deacon makes an emotional plea of love and commitment to the one that got away. Gve him credit for his stick-to-itiveness, but we still have a funny feeling something else is going on.

He once hooked up with a mannequin. She once murdered a man with bees. So yeah, it’s going to be crazy to the nth degree when Thomas and Sheila argue about her place within the Forrester family. No vat of acid required, even!

Friday, March 4:

What did we tell Sheila about loose lips sinking ships? It was that loose lips do sink ships, dang it! Yet during her intense squabble with Thomas, the blabbermouth accidentally slips up. Could this be the first step toward her diabolical plot blowing up in her face?

Nobody needs to ask Dollar Bill for his two cents. He’s perfectly happy to voice his opinion about Ridge and Brooke to Wyatt and Liam. Why do we suspect he won’t be too torn up about the dressmaker’s wife swap?

Week of March 7:

Monday, March 7:

Hmm. If Ridge and Thomas share a warm father/son moment today — and they do — it probably doesn’t involve Junior disclosing the gaffe that Sheila made during their fight. Chances are, he’s content just knowing that his longtime detractor is out of Daddy’s life… at least for now.

When Deacon provides comfort to an anguished Brooke, will it come in the form of a shoulder to cry on… or a pair of lips to kiss? That’s always a risk when these two get together — and hey, she’s got nothing left to lose, eh, Ridge?

If it makes Brooke feel any better, she’s been through this kinda heartache before and emerged no worse for wear. Maybe she just needs to reflect for a moment on her (tumultuous) life and (many) loves...

General Hospital

Several locals find themselves receiving unexpected visitors, the mystery surrounding Elizabeth continues to unfold, and Laura isn’t particularly thrilled by Victor’s latest moves!

Week of February 21:

Monday, February 21:

Maxie escapes, Peter’s farmhouse is surrounded, Esme apologizes to Trina, and things get ugly between Nikolas and Spencer.

It’s easy to forget, but Ava is actually young Leo’s aunt, given that his dad was her late brother, Julian. Today, Ava and Olivia have a chat about the young man whom they both love.

Trina and Joss find time for one another. (Wonder if Trina will call her gal pal out for sexing up Cam at the cabin rather than keeping tabs on her ailing friend?)

Laura is not one to put up with any crap, so it should be fun to watch her call out Esme!

Tuesday, February 22:

Felicia finds Maxie, gunfire is exchanged at the cabin, and Carly and Sonny reach an agreement.

For weeks now, it’s been very clear that Victor has a major plan, although so far, we’ve only gotten hints as to what it might be. Looks like he hits a roadblock, however, in the form of disappointing news.

What will be at stake when Carly and Sonny sit down at the negotiating table?

Esme does what she does best. Translation: The little minx spins a lie.

Why is Trina feeling ignored?

Laura takes a meeting at the hospital, but things definitely do not go as planned!

Fans have been waiting and at last… Tyler Christopher’s new role has been revealed!

Wednesday, February 23:

Anna shares the news that Peter is dead, Chase and Brook Lynn kiss, and a drunk Sonny reaches out to Nina.

Chicago PD’s intense next case leaves Upton out in the cold: “A really crazy episode.”

What does Lucy say to stop Nina in her tracks?

Austin asks to take a meeting with Britt and Obrecht. But about what?

The great thing about being owner of a bar? It gives you a place to go when you need to drown your sorrows. Which is exactly why Sonny heads to Charlie’s with that goal in mind.

Still grieving her unimaginable loss, Sasha throws herself into work.

What’s got Robert so concerned?

Star of The Wedding Veil trilogy strikes new deal with Hallmark.

Thursday, February 24:

Maxie names her daughter Bailey Louise and takes her home, Carly and Ava strike a deal regarding Avery, and Drew offers to help Curtis with Marshall.

Peter’s really, most sincerely dead… right? Hmmm… not so fast, kids! Here’s why we’re pretty sure he’s going to pop up one last time.

Two things strike us as interesting about Carly summoning someone to her office. First of all, given that it’s Carly, the word “summoning” instead of “inviting” makes that about as terrifying as being called to the principal’s office! And second… who knew Carly had an office?

Marshall can’t help but wonder if he went too far. Meanwhile, Curtis fears the past is about to bite him and Portia in the butt. (Does this have anything to do with Jordan returning to Port Charles?)

Being in the right place at the right time allows Ava to overhear something pretty interesting!

As the show hurls her into the mother of all plot twists, leading lady makes it official: She’s “here to slay.”

Friday, February 25:

Carly finds Nina at Sonny’s penthouse, Shawn wonders if Alexis has a reason for him to stay in Port Charles, and Elizabeth contacts Franco’s mother.

Elizabeth, who has been dealing with an awful lot of strange things happening to and around her of late, fears something bigger might be going on!

Things aren’t quite the same as they were for Michael and Willow, leaving Monica to wonder exactly what’s going on.

What causes Sam to rush to the hospital?

Carly is on the receiving end of a visit from someone rather unexpected.

Alexis checks in on Harmony.

Fans are not happy about a change the show just made. Could one of them figure out a way to fix the problem?

Tyler Christopher presses “paws” to share the sweetest photo of his new family member: “This girl has stolen my heart.”

Week of February 28:

Monday, February 28:

Things have been rough between Carly and Sonny of late… especially after she walked in on him with Nina! When they try and hash things out, will they grow closer… or further apart?

Who is about to pay Liz an unexpected visit… and might it shed light on recent unexplained events?

TJ’s about to get an update from Shawn.

Alexis has come to trust her new pal Harmony, but Diane definitely doesn’t feel the same way.

Things will be a bit awkward when Drew and Nina cross paths.

When Chase needs to talk through his complex feelings for Brook Lynn, who better to turn to than big brother Finn?

In a series of enviably joyful photos, Laura Wright and Wes Ramsey hint at just how much fun they “squeezed into three days” away.

Tuesday, March 1:

Will Marshall accept the proposal Drew lays on the table?

Curtis receives advice from Stella, but will he take it?

Olivia thinks Sam and Carly need a day away from all the drama!

What does Nina say that pushes all of Willow’s buttons?

Michael and Chase have a talk that leads to a moment of forgiveness.

Another strange incident occurs, and this one is going to really rock poor Elizabeth!

Wednesday, March 2:

Can Dante and Sam figure out what’s going on with Elizabeth? And does Jake have answers to a few burning questions?

Marshall tells Curtis, in effect, “You ain’t slick.” Meanwhile, Portia admits that she’s glad to have Drew back in town.

Mac thinks he’s ready to go back to work… but the women in his life make it clear they’re not about to let that happen just yet.

Thursday, March 3:

Who’s behind the mysterious call Anna receives?

Curtis and Portia are caught off guard.

Elizabeth and Finn receive an unexpected visitor who might be able to shed light on recent events.

Like many viewers, Austin finds himself wondering what’s going to happen next!

While waiting on two customers at Kelly’s, Cameron finds himself taking the opportunity to apologize.

Friday, March 4:

Many residents find themselves marking a somber occasion.

When Brando and Sasha wake up together, could this be a sign that they have finally gotten their relationship back on track?

Anna warns Drew that there’s a dangerous situation brewing!

Things are definitely awkward when Cameron and Joss cross paths with Trina.

Laura’s been warning everyone who’ll listen — including Nikolas’ wife — about Victor. So she’s definitely going to be suspicious when she spots her nemesis and Ava together!

As we marvel at the opportunity General Hospital missed with Peter’s death, we also revisit daytime’s worst-ever exits — yes, now with his included!

Unless we’re mistaken, the show has set the stage for a shocking “resurrection” that’ll make the Five Families shake in their cement shoes. Who’s the Big Bad they should be so afraid of?

Days of Our Lives

The devil makes a move, a dinner turns into a disaster and a rescue is made, which results in a heartfelt reunion — plus, news about the real Sarah reaches Salem.

Week of February 28:

Next week on Days of Our Lives, JoDevil outs Allie’s affair with Chanel at the worst possible time!

Monday, February 28:

JoDevil’s been working hard at convincing Gabi she should give in to temptation. But will he really be able to get her to cheat on Jake? Meanwhile, Ben and Ciara may have pieced together what’s going on, because they find themselves wondering if perhaps Johnny is now hosting the demon which previously resided in Marlena!

How will Chloe feel when she and Brady finally meet her dad’s new boyfriend?

Tripp’s ready to propose… and tonight’s the night!

Melissa Reeves returns as Jennifer deals with Abigail’s disappearance.

Tuesday, March 1:

Want to hear a recipe for disaster? Take Brady and Chloe — you know, the two who keep insisting they’re just friends. Then add a healthy dose of her dad Craig and his new boyfriend. Put them together at a table, throw in a pinch of awkwardness and enjoy!

Things definitely don’t go as Tripp planned when JoDevil creates trouble between the about-to-propose young man and the woman he loves!

Thanks to that whole Olympics-caused hiatus, it’s still Valentine’s Day in Salem, which gives Eli and Lani a chance for a little bit of romance!

Has TR really changed? That’s what he’s hoping to convince Paulina. (We, meanwhile, still have an issue with the way this story’s been sold… )

Wednesday, March 2:

It’s Chad and Tony to the rescue… or so they hope as they jump on the private jet and head to the island where they believe Abigail is being held! Meanwhile, Abigail tries talking some sense into her fellow captive, Sarah.

Kristen does something nice for Steve and Kayla… and as anyone would be, they’re immediately suspicious!

Can Roman convince Tripp to give Allie another chance?

Thursday, March 3:

It’s the moment we’ve been waiting for as Chad and Abigail are finally reunited. (Of course, given recent events, we’re going to need each of them to make sure the other isn’t wearing an identity-changing mask!)

If Tony’s shocked when he finds out what’s going on with Sarah, imagine how folks back in Salem — especially Xander — will react! Meanwhile, the Aussie hunk gets an earful from Anna, who isn’t thrilled by his relationship with Gwen!

Friday, March 4:

Although Tony and Anna usually find themselves on the same page, they wind up disagreeing on how, exactly, they should handle their latest problem!

As Abigail is sharing a reunion with her parents, Chad confronts Ava. He knows she didn’t work alone and demands to know who her accomplice was!

Xander had best brace himself for the news Jack is about to deliver: The real Sarah is back in Salem! (Actually, forget Xander… let’s see how Gwen reacts!) What will happen next?

With Xander and Sarah finally coming face to face...

Weekly Soap Spoilers/Recaps: February 21-24, 2022

The Young and the Restless

Jack makes a big confession, Adam makes a big decision, and Amanda and Imani reach a big impasse. (Because everything is big in Genoa City, don’t you know!) And Phyllis dropping a bombshell…

Friday, February 18:

Victor learns Michael found dirt on Ashland, Victoria grows more suspicious of her father, Amanda and Imani reach a decision, and Adam and Sally take a break!

When Michael shares damaging information with Victor, it sure sounds like the bombshell on Ashland that we predicted. But what exactly is the dirt he brings back on Locke, and how far-reaching the fallout will be remains to be seen!

Will marriage, kids or a break-up be on the agenda when Nate and Elena discuss their future?

Sounds like these kids are making it official! When Adam and Sally define their relationship, what kind of a reaction will it get from his family, the staff at Newman-Locke and, of course, Chelsea?!

Week of February 21:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: February Sweeps reveals for Ashland and Devon, big trouble ahead for Lily and possibly Elena, Chelsea falling for Rey, Sally & Adam, Phyllis solving Jack’s mystery and more!

Jack and Phyllis believe they know who is texting Jack...

Monday, February 21:

Phyllis shares shocking news with Jack. Aha — so she’s the Genoa City resident who’s never seen an episode of Game of Thrones!

As Tessa and Mariah discuss wedding plans, we have to admit that we kinda can’t wait to see what sort of perfectly “Teriah” nuptials they’ll come up with and whether or not Noah will bring the drama when the officiant asks, “If anyone knows a reason why these two people should not be wed… ” After all, his untimely interruptions are becoming downright dependable!

When Abby helps Chance make a tough decision, it could involve convincing him to seek professional help for his PTSD. Will he heed her advice? And if so, will he turn to friendly neighborhood therapist Sharon for coffee and comfort? What could possibly go wrong?!

Tuesday, February 22:

Victor enlists Nate’s help to discredit Ashland, but will the good doctor decline to get involved, given that he’s the Locke Ness Monster’s best (and only) friend? And is not getting involved even an option when it’s the Black Knight who’s asking?

When Jack makes a confession, it may be that he wants to be with Phyllis. Will the two lovebirds, who have failed at romance so spectacularly so many times, decide to give it the old college try? Or at this point, would it be the old graduate-school try?

If Traci is giving a stern warning — and she is — we’re going to assume that it has to do with the matter above. The only question is whether the heart of the Abbott family will be advising her brother or the redhead who has upended her sibling’s life repeatedly.

Wednesday, February 23:

Michael’s investigation confirms Victor’s suspicions, and if the Mustache had the same ideas we had about what’s going on, it will reveal a bombshell that would be catastrophic for Locke’s marriage to Victoria.

When Lily gives Nate sage advice, will it have to do with whether or not to refuse Victor’s request for help (which is never a good idea)… or perhaps whether or not to accept Ashland’s job offer? On the other hand, Nate might be considering if it’s the right time to propose to Elena now that they’ve moved in together.

Billy begins a new venture, which is almost certainly his new podcast. Will his ramblings about his inner thoughts be able to cure the insomnia of all who are Sleepless in Genoa City?

Thursday, February 24:

The Black Knight rides again! Which of his children will be in his corner as Victor prepares to march into battle against Ashland? Or will they even be in the loop? Sometimes, to emerge the victor, one has to have the element of surprise on one’s side!

When Jack searches for answers, will it be his heart that he’s studying for clues… or will it have to do with the “mystery” text? Will he and Phyllis team up to crack the case and wind up in a position where they can’t deny their desire to be together as a result?

Adam has a change of heart, and since we can’t imagine him suddenly deciding he doesn’t want to be making sweet love to Sally anymore, it must have to do with work. Will he announce that he’s leaving the family business yet again?

Friday, February 25:

The Bold and the Beautiful

After Brooke’s marriage blows up, she recruits an accomplice to do reconnaissance and remains in denial even as Ridge moves on. (Side note: Da-amn, that was fast!) Sheila, meanwhile, is a portrait of contentment upon learning that she managed to set the wheels in motion to successfully destroy the blonde’s life — and she can’t freaking shut up about it! How will Deacon react to the “Bridge” break-up and which would-be lovers will invite big trouble by throwing caution to the wind...

Friday, February 18:

Taylor and Ridge share a passionate kiss, Liam reassures Hope, and Thomas and Brooke have it out.

Ridge is grateful to Taylor for her unwavering love and support. The question is, how will he show his gratitude? Perhaps with a hug? A kiss? Could this be the beginning of that new chapter Steffy has so fervently hoped would come to pass for her parents?

Not if Brooke has anything to say about it! Ridge’s estranged wife faces off with Thomas for keeping her from his father without his knowledge. Will she be able to get past the gatekeeper and make an impassioned plea to save her marriage?

If Brooke needs any help making her case, she can revisits the trials and tribulations she and Ridge have overcome in the past. Other men, other women, boinkberries, Stephanie and more!

Week of February 21:

Monday, February 21:

With Ridge’s children declaring their father off limits to Brooke, Liam plays detective on behalf of Hope and her mother. It’s a sure bet that he’ll be going behind “enemy lines,” aka entering Steffy’s house, to find out what’s going on with the disgruntled dressmaker.

It sounds like Liam might end up wishing he’d never gotten involved in the “Bridge” mess, given the intel he’s going to have to take back to the cabin! Yep, Ridge lands at Steffy’s house, where he and Taylor share a kiss. Already? Bro. No. Just… no.

Tuesday, February 22:

Will Taylor’s prospects with her ex-husband take a nosedive when Thomas reluctantly hands Ridge back his phone, which then blows up with messages from Brooke?

Having been married to Brooke — and divorced from her! — Eric really shouldn’t be surprised, but nonetheless, he is stunned when his panicked ex-wife fills him in on the fallout with Ridge from her New Year’s tryst with Deacon. Please, please, please let Quinn walk in on this scene. Pretty please?

Wednesday, February 23:

Sheila gets inwardly ecstatic upon learning about Ridge and Brooke’s split. The question is whether or not she can keep that inner glee from bursting out into a gloat-y confession! We’re gonna say “not a chance” since the schemer has always been her own worst enemy. Don’t believe it? This story is for you.

Cue up the flashbacks! When Brooke and Ridge share a heart-wrenching goodbye, there are bound to be a boatload of not only reminiscences but tears. Want to get a head start on the waterworks? Let's reflect back as we meander back through the “Bridge” love story....

Thursday, February 24:

Just as we suspected she would, Sheila’s spreading her glee about Brooke’s misfortunes all over town. When the master manipulator gives Deacon the shocking news about “Bridge” splitting up, it inspires the reformed con to be hopeful of a reunion with the woman he loves.

Warning: drama ahead! Throwing caution to the wind, the romantic chemistry builds between Paris and Carter. While Grace may have been seriously overstepping in warning the executive away from her daughter, she clearly isn’t someone to be trifled with, so this is gonna mean trouble.

Did the big fight between Deacon and Ridge — not to mention the fallout — set in motion the big twist we’ve been warned is coming?

Friday, February 25:

Ah, there it is… Sheila taunts Brooke, who is convinced that her marriage is not over. Well, we’ve got some bad news for her…

Ridge wastes nary a second getting over the loss of “his Logan” — not to mention his destiny — as he, Steffy, Taylor and Thomas rejoice together as a reunited family. Sheesh, this cat moves faster than cheetah toward an injured antelope! Meanwhile, all we can think is, “Oh, Taylor, no.” Ridge has shown her a zillion times that he’s just not that into her.

Trina and Joss find time for one another. (Wonder if Trina will call her gal pal out for sexing up Cam at the cabin rather than keeping tabs on her ailing friend?)

Laura is not one to put up with any crap, so it should be fun to watch her call out Esme! Meanwhile, Nikolas visits his son at Spring Ridge. Might they find a way to get along better?

Tuesday, February 22:

For weeks now, it’s been very clear that Victor has a major plan, although so far, we’ve only gotten hints as to what it might be. Looks like he hits a roadblock, however, in the form of disappointing news.

What will be at stake when Carly and Sonny sit down at the negotiating table?

What’s got Robert so concerned?

Thursday, February 24:

Two things strike us as interesting about Carly summoning someone to her office. First of all, given that it’s Carly, the word “summoning” instead of “inviting” makes that about as terrifying as being called to the principal’s office! And second… who knew Carly had an office?

Marshall can’t help but wonder if he went too far. Meanwhile, Curtis fears the past is about to bite him and Portia in the butt. (Could this mean that Jordan will soon be returning to Port Charles?)

Being in the right place at the right time allows Ava to overhear something pretty interesting!

Friday, February 25:

Elizabeth, who has been dealing with an awful lot of strange things happening to and around her of late, fears something bigger might be going on!

Things aren’t quite the same as they were for Michael and Willow, leaving Monica to wonder exactly what’s going on.

What causes Sam to rush to the hospital?

Carly is on the receiving end of a visit from someone rather unexpected.

Alexis checks in on Harmony.

General Hospital recently made a change that didn’t go over particularly well. Could fans hold the key to making what’s wrong right again?

Even though the current drama often keeps us on the edge of our seats, sometimes we can’t help but think back to the days of old.

Wednesday, February 23:

Chicago Fire Reveal! How the next episode could spark tension for two women and friction between Kelly and Stella.

Paulina may not be Abe’s favorite person at the moment, but surely he won’t turn a deaf ear to her plea for help in dealing with Lani’s dad… right? Nicole is about to put it all on the line in an effort to help Rafe!

It’s going to be a big night for Tripp and Allie as he plans to pop the question. But when he fills Chanel in on his intentions, might she throw a monkey wrench into the works?

Week of February 28:

Monday, February 28:

JoDevil’s been working hard at convincing Gabi she should give in to temptation. But will he really be able to get her to cheat on Jake? Meanwhile, Ben and Ciara may have pieced together what’s going on, because they find themselves wondering if perhaps Johnny is now hosting the demon which previously resided in Marlena!

How will Chloe feel when she and Brady finally meet her dad’s new boyfriend?

Tripp’s ready to propose… and tonight’s the night!

Well, hang on to your hats, fans! Paul Telfer previews the Xarah reunion we’ve been waiting for… so why does he exclaim, ‘bollocks’?!?

Weekly Soap Spoilers/Recaps: February 14-18, 2022 (DOOL: February 21-25, 2022)

The Young and the Restless

Love is in the air, but not necessarily the romantic kind. Though couples like Adam and Sally, and Mariah and Tessa make time to canoodle, Lauren indulges in her love of living dangerously, Victoria revels in her love of corporate combat, and Victor celebrates his love of getting the upper hand on an opponent — in this case, newly minted son-in-law Ashland. Meanwhile, Abby learns that she has another — yes, another — reason to weep, and Nikki becomes the focus of son Nick’s concern.

Friday, February 11:

Ashland makes a confession to Victoria, Billy wows Lily, Victor romances Nikki, and Sally and Adam share a toast.

With Valentine’s Day on the calendar, Victor and Nikki take time for romance. Will the corporate player and family patriarch wine and dine his longtime lady love at the ranch or out on the town?

On the day for lovers, Billy surprises Lily. Does this have anything to do with him stepping outside of his comfort zone previously? We just have to wonder!

It doesn’t sound like a very loved-up day for Ashland, as he is forced to come clean with Victoria. We’ve seen this play out before and have to question whether the confession will amount to another manipulation — and for that matter, if it is the beginning of the end for this power couple. If so, let’s take solace where we can in our memories of “Ashtoria” the way they were in our photo album of their love story.

Week of February 14:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics include: Bad news ahead for Abby and Devon, Valentine’s Day heating up, Chelsea and Rey, and the cure for Billy’s insomnia!

Monday, February 14:

Props to Cupid on his aim! On Valentine’s Day, Adam and his new COO Sally mix business with pleasure. What shade of red will Genoa City’s new power couple paint the town?

When Sharon and Rey play matchmaker, might they be trying to set up Noah with someone who could take his mind off of his past relationship woes — and his unhealthy fixation with Tessa?

As they look forward to getting married and starting a family together, Mariah and Tessa find time for romance. Which is easy enough now, but wait till there are kids around. That’s when it gets tricky!

Tuesday, February 15:

When Amanda receives an intriguing invitation, will it be from billionaire beau Devon… or someone else? And will it be the kind of offer she can’t possibly refuse?

Lily may have been onto something when she questioned whether Billy would take issue with being her second in command at the company he’d hoped to run. As he struggles with his new role, the couple could be headed for a rough patch.

It’s one thing after another for poor, beleaguered Abby, who discovers that Chance is keeping secrets. Buddy, take a look back at your history. Has keeping secrets ever worked out for you? Just no.

Wednesday, February 16:

Perhaps this was part of his master plan when he sold Newman Media to Victoria? Victor recruits Adam to gather intel about Ashland. Kinda makes ya wish Paul Williams still had his private-detective agency, doesn’t it?

What could possibly be going on when Nick worries about Nikki — the person who is perpetually looking after everyone else and trying to keep the peace?

We feel sorry for the poor soul who is up to bat when Victoria decides to play hardball. The big-business bigwig is more prone to striking her target than striking out!

Thursday, February 17:

When Jack receives a puzzling message, might it be from Phyllis, who seems extra confused about where she — and they — stand these days?

Since Lauren is making a risky decision, we suspect that it might have to do with going back into business with Chelsea, the notorious con who ripped her off before fleeing Genoa City the last time they worked together. Do the words “once bitten, twice shy” mean nothing to the redhead?

Phyllis arrives home to a mystery, which is intriguing, given that Jack is also tangling with a riddle of some sort. Could the two instances be connected? We’d bet on it.

Friday, February 18:

When Michael shares damaging information with Victor, it sure sounds like the bombshell on Ashland that we predicted. But what exactly is the dirt he brings back on Locke, and how far-reaching the fallout will be remains to be seen!

Will marriage, kids or a break-up be on the agenda when Nate and Elena discuss their future?

Sounds like these kids are making it official! When Adam and Sally define their relationship, what kind of a reaction will it get from his family, the staff at Newman-Locke and, of course, Chelsea?!

One list you’ll never find Adam and Sally on is our roundup of forced couples — pairs that never quite worked but whose shows worked overtime to convince us to like.

The Bold and the Beautiful

It’s a free-for-all as Ridge and Deacon come to blows, and Steffy and Taylor square off with their respective nemeses, Hope and Brooke. Meanwhile, Sheila celebrates a triumph, and Thomas works to throw a monkey wrench into someone’s plans. Find out who he’ll so deftly thwart...

Friday, February 11:

Ridge knocks Deacon down with a sucker punch, Deacon comes clean with Sheila, and Taylor confronts Brooke.

Why she doesn’t just say, “Honey, we’ve both done worse — sometimes together!” we’ll never know. Nonetheless, we have a feeling Brooke won’t be using that argument as she desperately attempts to do damage control with Ridge. And if you couldn’t tell where this storyline was headed...

Meanwhile, Deacon reluctantly spills the secret of his shared kiss with Brooke to Sheila. Which is odd. She never struck us a the-last-to-know kinda gal. Anyway, if this is the death knell being sounded for Ridge and Brooke’s relationship (again), let’s not be sad. (What, you weren’t going to be sad?)

Week of February 14:

Monday, February 14:

Separately, Taylor confronts Brooke, and Steffy confronts Hope about Brooke’s betrayal of Ridge. Will old wounds be reopened that can never be healed when these two generations of formidable foes lock horns anew? By the time they’re through...

Get the popcorn! Deacon fuels Ridge’s rage as the two engage in a fight of epic proportions. Will the ex-con go all Cobra Kai on the dressmaker?! And if so, what will be left of the dressmaker when his opponent is done with him?

Tuesday, February 15:

As Sheila gloats about Brooke’s infidelity and gives Taylor her full support, we have to wonder if the wicked witch will take so much pleasure in the blonde’s downfall that she’ll tip off the astute therapist to her involvement in the catastrophe.

As Brooke strives to defuse the situation, Ridge reaches his breaking point with his wife. Will he call it quits with his destiny after assuring her just last week that they could get through absolutely anything together?

Wednesday, February 16:

Four-tissue alert! Hope and Liam attempt to comfort a distraught Brooke, who is one of the most prolific criers we know. Will her staunchest supporters be able to convince her to turn off the waterworks and fight for her man?

Something tells us Steffy might find Ridge more receptive than he was before Brooke’s most recent betrayal when she passionately pleads with her dad to end things with his scandal-plagued wife once and for all.

Thursday, February 17:

Deacon recalls how Brooke defended him in his brawl with Ridge to an ecstatic Sheila. We can just picture the glee on her face as she relishes the tale — after all, the she-devil vowed to destroy the life of the blonde who had the audacity to come between her and her goals, and did a bang-up job of setting the chaos in motion.

Undoubtedly upset with his stepmother’s betrayal of his father, Thomas thwarts Brooke’s efforts to contact Ridge. We have to say, compared to some of the shocking things that have gone down between these two in the past, a little thwarting doesn’t seem like such a big deal.

Friday, February 18:

Ridge is grateful to Taylor for her unwavering love and support. The question is, how will he show his gratitude? Perhaps with a hug? A kiss? Could this be the beginning of that new chapter Steffy has so fervently hoped would come to pass for her parents?

Not if Brooke has anything to say about it! Ridge’s estranged wife faces off with Thomas for keeping her from his father without his knowledge. Will she be able to get past the gatekeeper and make an impassioned plea to save her marriage?

If Brooke needs any help making her case, she can revisit the trials and tribulations she and Ridge have overcome in the past. Other men, other women, boinkberries, Stephanie and more!

Maxie and Felicia play the waiting game as they anticipate news.

Victor had a whole plan in mind, but things definitely don’t go as planned.

Maxie, Brook Lynn and Chase come together to make a difficult choice.

From the start, Peter has made it very clear that protecting himself is his top priority. Today, he reveals the latest way in which he’s doing exactly that.

Hoping to prove that three heads are better than one, Anna, Dante and Laura put theirs together.

Carly and Drew cross paths once again.

When Maxie needs comforting, Austin is there for her.

Typically, Nina isn’t one who finds herself at a loss for words. But she definitely won’t know what to say today!

DVR alert: When Calls the Heart season 9 premiere teasers: The stage is set for romance, change and a race like no other — plus, 15 gifts that Hearties will love!

Thursday, February 10:

Maxie leaves Louise behind and goes on the run with Peter. Plus, Brook Lynn faces Valentin, and Laura threatens Victor.

When Maxie is faced with an impossible choice, which way will she go? And will this have something to do with why Brook Lynn feels so guilty?

They say the truth will set you free, but will that prove true for Elizabeth and Finn when they get all the facts?

Laura feels a sense of relief.

Anna will likely put all of her skills to use when she goes looking for answers.

Dominic Zamprogna gets wheel about his ‘kidlife crisis’ — plus, one fan’s comment had us in stitches!

Josh Swickard pays a 98th birthday tribute to the grandpa who has ‘helped me more than you’ll ever know.’

Friday, February 11:

Liz finds her wedding dress shredded, Nina confides in Ava about Sonny, and Carly makes an appointment with a divorce lawyer.

As the most romantic day of the year draws nigh, Curtis and TJ discuss their big Valentine’s Day plans.

Terry’s getting ready for her big date… but what Elizabeth discovers could put a damper on things!

Phyllis has Charlie’s all decked out for the holiday… but it’s definitely not what one might expect, which has Sonny checking in with his bar’s manager.

Week of February 14:

GH Soapbox: The soap really delivered with the Peter/Maxie and Carly/Sonny/Nina drama this week. Plus, Laura’s badassery, Ava’s expressions, and Robert’s reaction were must-see.

Monday, February 14:

At last, it’s time for Terry to go on her big date… but things definitely do not go as she expected.

How will Molly react to the very big, very romantic gesture TJ is about to make?

How will Ava and Nikolas celebrate Valentine’s Day?

After getting the 4-1-1 from Carly, Felix makes a big decision.

When Spencer gets a surprise, will it be the kind one welcomes… or the kind one wishes had never happened?

Tuesday, February 15:

Hey, Carly is a woman with options… especially now that Sonny has slept with Nina. But what will happen when she begins to explore them?

Nina’s got a question she hopes Britt will be able to answer.

Patience may be a virtue, but it’s also something that Michael and Willow are just about out of!

Is Austin punching above his league when he threatens Victor?

Brook Lynn and Chase haven’t always been on the same page, but this time, they know exactly what they have to do.

Wednesday, February 16:

How far will things go when Brook Lynn and Chase turn to one another as they grapple with a painful moment?

Nina crosses with someone unexpectedly at the hospital.

Portia and Curtis’ Valentine’s Day plans got derailed, but they’re about to make up for lost time.

Given everything going on, it’s probably not surprising that Joss is worried about her mom.

Something tells us things could be awkward when Sonny and Michael run into one another.

Thursday, February 17:

Does Finn have good reason to be concerned about Liz?

Brando tracks down Sasha at the Metro Court.

As Sam and Drew are sharing a moment at the pier, Austin and Obrecht are cooking up their own little plan. But to what end?

Laura, Felicia and Anna gather at General Hospital.

Is the nightmare from which Maxie awakens a literal or figurative one?

Friday, February 18:

It may be February in Upstate New York, but things are about to get unexpectedly steamy in Port Charles!

What condition will Laura find Spencer in when she visits him at Spring Ridge?

Victor interrupts Ava and Nikolas.

What drives Sam to seek out Austin and Obrecht, of all people?

Britt happens to overhear something and decides she has no choice but to get involved. Will she regret doing so?

While Liz tries to figure out what the future holds — and if Finn is going to be a part of it

Not all couples are as super- as Brooke and Ridge and Ridge and Taylor. Remember these pairings that the soaps tried to convince us were hot, hot, hot when… alas, they were not, not, not?
