Weekly Spoilers: December 19-23, 2022

The Young and the Restless

It’s not just Santa Claus who’s making his way to Genoa City — so is a man from Phyllis’ past. Plus, “Skyle” pull off a Christmas miracle, Sally receives the best of all possible presents from Nick, Adam steps up for an old flame, and two lonely hearts spend enough time together to raise eyebrows. Well, our eyebrows, at least.

Friday, December 16:

Daniel hires Phyllis, and Kyle and Jack confront Jeremy Stark.

First Phyllis, and now Jack and Kyle confront Jeremy Stark. Could we be heading for a “Who killed Jeremy?” murder mystery?

Daniel takes on a new venture that is only two letters short of being an adventure.

Phyllis is shocked by Summer’s betrayal. But should she be, really? Summer has warned her mom over and over and over to just let it go with Diane, and instead, Phyllis has held onto that grudge as tightly as we do the last box of wine at the liquor store.

Week of December 19:

Y&R Restless Rant! The Young & Restless bombshell that will devastate Kyle and Jack. Plus, all therapy, all the time, Sharon/Chance romance and more!

Monday, December 19:

Victor and Nikki discuss the true meaning of Christmas. You mean it’s not pursuing one’s enemies with the single-mindedness of a missile hurtling toward its target?

We have a feeling no mistletoe will be needed as Nick and Sally discuss their holiday plans. Come to think of it, we have a feeling no clothes will be needed, either.

Adam surprises Chelsea with an unexpected invitation. Hey, maybe it’s not too late for him to get on Santa’s nice list after all!

Eric Braeden shares a photo from his hospital room while “thinking of you all.”

Tuesday, December 20:

She didn’t have much to begin with, and now, Ashley finally loses what little patience she had with Jack’s loyalty to Diane.

Elena spots a rival in Audra. Which we suppose is just one of the hazards of dating a hottie like Nate.

Hope Billy and Victoria have blocked off, say, until New Year. Because when they sit down to discuss family matters, it could take a while!

Wednesday, December 21:

Tucker, as he is wont to do, causes conflict between Ashley and Jack. If nothing else, the siblings will have to be happy to have something to fight about besides Diane for a change.

Sharon bonds with Chance, moving her to the top of the list of Genoa City singletons who could help mend his broken heart in the wake of his split from Abby. See who else is in the running here.

Kyle and Summer find a way to save Christmas for their family. Is it wine? Lots and lots of wine? Because that’s pretty much the only way we can think of.

Thursday, December 22:

Prepare to do some rockin’ around the Christmas tree when Danny Romalotti returns home for the holidays.

On their first Christmas together, she probably would’ve settled for a card. But instead, Sally gets something way better from Nick when he makes her a promise.

Diane receives an unexpected Christmas gift. Could it be a new willingness on Ashley, Nikki and Phyllis’ part to just leave her be? Nah. That would be asking too much.

Friday, December 23:

Mariah and Tessa spread some holiday cheer as they plan their future. As they head toward the new year, look back at the old one — and the ones preceding it.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Things will soon be getting festive for our favorite families. But even as Christmas draws near, a dark, Sheila-shaped cloud hangs over the Forrester clan. Meanwhile, Katie reflects on a loved one’s sacrifice even as she finds herself dealing with two men, each of whom would love nothing more than to make her their one and only!

Friday, December 16:

Hope and Steffy are stunned by what they find at Brooke’s house, and Katie and Bill wind up in tears.

Never having uttered the words, “Stop me if you’ve heard this one before,” Bill formulates a plan to win Katie back. Why does that leave us more afraid than excited? (Here’s the answer.)

Hope and Steffy interrupt an unforeseen celebration. Could their relatives be throwing a “Yay! Sheila’s Back Behind Bars!” bash?

It’s a girl! Bold & Beautiful drops a new child on ‘Lope’.

Monday, December 12:

Finn is stung when Liz answers whether she’s pregnant or not, Carly thwarts Drew’s investigation into Willow’s parents, and Heather and Ryan vow to find out what happened to Esme.

When Heather forms an alliance, it is obviously of the unholy variety. After all, would the she-devil be able to forge any other type?

Try as she might, Esme fails to bend Nikolas to her will. Meanwhile, his wife is on hand to offer Trina comfort during her time of need.

What sends Finn reeling?

Someone won’t be thrilled with the news that Drew’s been tasked with delivering!

As Ryan plots his next move, Jon Lindstrom embarks on “the journey of my life.”

Tuesday December 13:

Willow tells Drew she has leukemia, Ava informs Nikolas about her decision regarding their marriage, and Maxie walks out on Austin after learning what he did to Spinelli.

It was only a few days ago that Sonny and Nina were basking in one another’s company and declaring their devotion… so why is she now questioning her place in his life?

Drew finds himself getting closer to Willow, while Carly’s latest scheme hits a bit of a snag. (Anyone else suspect that her attempts to keep Willow in the dark are going to bite her in the butt with several characters?)

Austin does something that definitely doesn’t sit well with Maxie.

Alexis and Gregory try to figure out their next move.

Yellowstone Shocker! The show wouldn’t really kill off [Spoiler], would it?!?

When Maxie needs a friend, Cody tries to fill that void.

Alexis and Curtis compare notes.

Dante is hot on the trail as he pursues a lead. But will it result in him solving a mystery?

Nikolas has been trying to juggle a lot of balls of late. When he’s put on the spot, will he accidentally drop one? And what is it that leaves Ava downright shocked? Could it have anything to do with the latest tragedy which is about to become the talk of Port Charles?

Chad Duell (Michael) takes a break with a couple of special people and drops in on two “cuties” behind the scenes.

Friday, December 16:

Trina is devastated when Rory dies, a clue is found in Rory’s coat pocket that could lead to the killer, and Liz has stunning news for Nikolas about Esme.

Well, some of the locals might want to prepare themselves, because Ava is declaring war!

Elizabeth can’t help but fear the worst. But is she worrying for nothing or being terribly prescient?

Spencer may not always make the right decisions, but Laura makes it clear that she has faith in her grandson.

Having already had a tough go of it this year, things don’t appear to be getting better for Trina, who is absolutely devastated.

Drat, he got the hook: Michael Blake Kruse exits as the killer claims another victim.

As Anna worries about the events swirling out of control around her, Valentin offers his support and assurances that everything will work out.

Surprise! Maurice Benard adds a new member to the family that he never expected.

When Josslyn needs comforting, mom Carly is there to provide it.

Drew and Alexis take a meeting.

Tuesday December 20:

Talk about close calls! Carly manages to dodge a bullet. (Hopefully, not a literal one… although in this town, it could go either way!)

Drew’s got a new theory, but can he find evidence to support it?

Things may have changed, but one thing remains constant: The friction that continues to exist between Nikolas and Spencer.

Sasha has something very important on her to-do list, and Sonny is there to help her get it done.

Nina and her aunt Liesl join forces to take on a mission. But can they pull it off and manage to stay out of trouble? Given their record, that’s a valid question!

Fortunately, Rafe and Jada will have something to keep them distracted from their personal problems when Steve comes asking for their help.
