The Young and the Restless — The Week Ahead

Faith (Reylynn Caster) is fighting an infection that is damaging her kidneys and Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) are worried sick. One option to save Faith is for her to undergo a kidney transplant. With her having a rare blood type, finding a donor is a challenge. But spoilers show Nick makes a bold move to help Faith. Will he put his animosity towards his brother aside to save his daughter?

Sally (Courtney Hope) went up against Tara (Elizabeth Lenier) because she was angry at her husband Ashland (Richard Burgi) for messing with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Jabot. She also knows Tara’s and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) little secret. So when Summer (Hunter King) retaliates against Sally this week, is she standing up for Kyle because of Sally’s games? Or does Sally do something else that upsets Summer and has the two feuding again?

Spoilers show Sharon will get a shock when she receives some unexpected news. While we don’t know what Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has to say, we do hope she will take a gentler approach, to telling Sharon the news, than she has in the past.

Faith suffered residual problems from her accident when she developed an infection and her kidneys began to fail. Nate (Sean Dominic) raced against the clock to save her but she needs a transplant ASAP. He told Nick and Sharon to gather their family – including Adam (Mark Grossman) – for testing. Nick left to find his brother.

Sally reached her breaking point with the women in Genoa City. She told off Summer and took on Tara. Jack (Peter Bergman) overheard both takedowns and paid special attention to Sally spilling her feelings for him.

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) finally saw the light and became suspicious of Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). He called on Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for questioning. Chloe kept her mouth shut but her actions and wording had Rey on high alert.

Once again Hope and Liam are back together and decide to move forward with their happy plans for the future. Spoilers show things are looking up for the couple, but will everything come crashing down once again if Hope discovers the secret Liam has been keeping?

One person trying to be supportive of Hope and Liam’s relationship is Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). But again, we fear that Liam and Bill’s secret coming out is going to derail these happy times. And Liam may not want Thomas hanging around since Thomas is adamant about his plan to get revenge on Vinny’s killer.

In a stunning turn, Carter defends Quinn’s past mistakes leaving Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) speechless. Could Carter be developing real feelings for Quinn beyond lust?

Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) restarted their marriage and he moved back home. It was not all good, though. Liam’s secret ate away at him and he kept having flashbacks of the night he killed Vinny (Joe LoCicero).

Making things worse was Baker turning up at the Spencer office to talk to Liam and Bill (Don Diamont). While they managed to keep the detective at bay, Liam worried their secret would come out eventually.

Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) lack of love at home had her practically drooling over Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) every time they were in the same room. Things became even hotter when Carter confessed that Quinn was one very sexy woman and it eventually led them to make love!

Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) accidentally overheard Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) plans and trusted Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) with the secret. It was great timing for the fake mama-to-be. She headed right over to Maxie’s apartment to reveal her faux bump and make plans to hide Maxie’s bundle of joy.

As for Maxi’s baby daddy, Peter (Wes Ramsey) did the right thing and saved Chase (Josh Swickard). He did it with seconds to spare while issuing more and more threats, but at least he did it.

Cyrus met his match when he used Avery to launch a threat against Ava (Maura West). That’s all she needed to start plotting against the resident evildoer.

A rekindled romance, an enormous lie, and a major breakthrough.

Jake (Brandon Barash) is heartbroken over being dumped by “Kate,” who was actually Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) in disguise. Luckily for him, it looks like Gabi makes stops by for a visit soon after and the two get to talking. Before long, sparks are flying and Gabi (Camila Banus) and Jake are on cloud nine.

It was just revealed that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) tragically lost her baby. But that nugget of knowledge remained unbeknownst to anyone else at the DiMera mansion. Therefore, it will be convenient when Gwen can blame the loss of her child on Abigail (Marci Miller) in light of the little tumble down the stairs.

Of course, Gwen could come clean and tell the truth, but that wouldn’t be nearly as fun as watching Abigail squirm. Plus, spoilers show Gwen is about to tell a really big lie, and the tough questions fall to Abigail.

The whodunnit mystery may soon be solved for the people of Salem. The audience already has it figured out. But it looks like Belle (Martha Madison) may come across a major development in the case this week. Does she discover that her jacket was stolen the same night of Charlie’s murder? Or that it was Jan (Heather Lindell) who set her up? Tune in so you don’t miss an exciting moment coming up next week.

Days of our Lives Weekly Recap

No sooner did Gwen announce her pregnancy and intention of keeping the baby than her dreams were snatched away. She miscarried her child. But, that’s not all. She got into a tussle with Abigail and took a tumble down the stairs.

Kristen broke up Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Jake much the same way she did with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer). She fixed herself up with Kate’s face, said some very mean things, and broke Jake’s heart.

Ava (Tamara Braun) and Rafe (Galen Gering) lit up the screen with a hot and heavy makeout session. All was well (for a few seconds) until Nicole (Arianne Zucker) found out. The very married woman experienced an unexpected and unwarranted bout of jealousy.
