Days of Our Lives – Peacock

Recaps

Jada arrests Connie, Stefan learns Gabi didn’t sleep with EJ a second time, and Gabi fumes over Stefan’s latest blunder. How will Gabi show her appreciation to EJ for his recent heroic actions? Could this be the beginning of something neither expected? Ava, too, is feeling grateful and makes that clear as she takes care of Stefan. As usual on soaps, the police are the last to know. In this case, it’s Jada who’s finally clueing into the fact that Connie is… well, completely nuts! Paulina’s prepared to make a major change by suggesting that Melinda step into EJ’s job! Despite everything going on regarding Body and Soul, Johnny and Chanel carve out time for a little romance. And based on what’s coming up, this is a good thing… ’cause trouble is heading their way!

One Life to Live youngster Eddie Alderson is all grown up — and now married! Plus, wait until you see who was in attendance from the Llanview soap.

Chaos and chemistry erupt at the Body and Soul photo shoot while everyone demands script changes from Leo. Chanel finds out that some of her upcoming scenes on the soap are going to involve her being intimate with Alex. Meanwhile, there’s a backstage clash between co-stars Bonnie and Hattie. Someone bring us the popcorn! Leo’s going to have his hands full when Johnny comes to him wanting to make some changes to the scripts.

Xander purchases a gun and enlists a sketchy man to help him with his plan to get justice for Sarah. Sophia is definitely getting closer to Tate. But not if an interrupting Holly can stop it! Brady and Eric find time to catch each other up with what’s been going on in their lives. Fiona, who has a nasty habit of dropping truth bombs on unexpected folks, does exactly that with Maggie!

Sarah tries talking Xander out of going after Brady… again. (Hopefully, she had one of the staff throw away his baseball bat!)

Xander has Brady drugged, Sarah calls Jada upon learning of Xander’s plans, and Fiona offers Sophia advice. Nicole may be out of the picture, but that’s not going to keep EJ and Eric from clashing. This time, it’s over Holly. How will Sarah feel when Xander reluctantly admits his intentions? Brady is drugged, but by who? Holly’s doing a little bit of snooping when, whoops, she’s caught in the act by Tate!

Remember earlier, when we warned that Johnny and Chanel might be heading for a rough spot? Well, they’ve arrived, because she makes it clear that she’s not at all happy about her husband having gone behind her back to get the scripts altered! Johnny might like to know that Alex isn’t thinking about Chanel at all. In fact, he’s spending some quality time with Stephanie! Following a rather unusual encounter, Brady fills Eric in on what went down. Sarah remembers something about the night of the crash and tells the one person she probably shouldn’t: Fiona!

Monday, September 30:

Proving just how far they’ve come since their rather rocky start, Alex actually winds up turning to Stephanie for a little bit of advice.

Bonnie gets a bit of bad news, directly from Body and Soul‘s headwriter himself!

Finally, we get to see these two together! Alison Sweeney is ‘so excited’ to be working with this Hallmark star.

Thursday, October 3:

If there’s one thing Kristen knows how to do, it’s take advantage of an opportunity… and boy is one about to present itself!

Maggie has always had a special relationship with Xander, but can she talk him out of seeking revenge against Brady? Meanwhile, Marlena wants to know exactly how Brady is feeling about his ex, Kristen.

Eric urges Holly to spend time with her mom.

Sophia is there to offer Tate tea and sympathy… and whatever else she can think of.

Friday, October 4:

Julie thinks it’s time for Chad to tell the truth to the children. Will he really reveal that their mom is supposedly back? Meanwhile, “Abigail” and Mark discuss just how well her plan to fool Chad is going. But what about the guilt she’s feeling?

Stefan might want to get himself a good lawyer because a major lawsuit is headed his way courtesy of EJ!

Rafe offers Gabi his sympathy.

As we try to absorb the sad news that Drake Hogestyn has sadly passed away…Rest in peace, Drake Hogestyn! Prayers to your family!

The Bold & the Beautiful

Recaps

Li struggles with Taylor’s request, and Ridge makes Steffy a promise. Taylor visits a connection to reveal a secret. Er, could it be the life-or-death one that’s poised to turn the show upside down?

Preview! Will and R.J. feud set to erupt!

Finn questions an emotional Li, and Steffy ends up in tears talking to Taylor. Steffy’s Spidey senses tingling, she guesses that her mom has a secret, but Taylor shuts her down. Wonder what a good therapist would have to say about that! Ridge confesses to Brooke that he made a promise to Steffy about Taylor. Mm-hmm. Suddenly, this twist is making more and more sense.

Fave Karla Mosley couldn’t be more excited and shared, “Time to get back to it.”

Unimaginable dilemma! [Spoiler] discovers Taylor’s dying… by accident!

Katie makes Will an offer, Steffy makes her intentions clear to Hope, and Ridge gets a bad vibe. Bill reaches out to Katie to talk about their future. We have a hunch it’s going to look a lot like their past. Review Bill’s history for a sneak-peek-slash-preview.

Brooke senses something is ‘off’ with Taylor, and Bill makes a pitch to get Katie back. Rather than just avoid one another at all costs, Steffy and Hope try to get the better of each other regarding Ridge, Brooke and Taylor. Will attempts to make sense of the divide between his parents. We’d say that a good therapist might help, but the only one on the show likes to keep secrets.

Taylor collapses, and Steffy issues a warning. Jökull Júliusson (J.J.) collaborates with Brooke’s Bedroom Line photo shoot and performs his hit song, “Way Down We Go.” At the photo shoot, Steffy gets irritated when Finn and Hope share their love for J.J. and his band, Kaleo, and Bridget returns to town for the performance. No word on whether that also annoys Steffy. Forgetting all the times that he’s proven he’s just not that into her, Taylor hurts as she watches Brooke and Ridge’s interaction on the livestream of the shoot.

Before Taylor’s life ends yet again…

Next Week

Given what’s going on…this week… Diagnosis: Taylor. From start to finish, every episode deals with the supposedly sealed fate of Ridge’s former wife. But is she really bound for the grave? By the following weekend, even she’ll have reason to wonder. In other developments, the Spencer family reevaluates whether Bill and Katie are going to return to being the mom-and-pop operation that they were once.

Monday, September 30:

Bill is doing everything in his power to reunite his family, and Katie — who should probably know better — seems to be leaning into the idea. But when Will shares how he feels about the possibility, will it push the formerly-wed pair closer… or drive them apart?

Taylor’s attempt to keep her illness hidden is shot to you-know-where now that she’s collapsed in front of Ridge. But when he frantically rushes to her side, will she be honest about what’s going on?

Tuesday, October 1:

Ridge is in for the shock of his life when he finds out that Taylor’s time is running out. Meanwhile, completely unaware of what’s going on elsewhere in the building, Brooke reminds Steffy that Ridge’s heart is already taken, meaning it’s not available for Taylor to steal.

Wednesday, October 2:

Proving that he’s not just a handsome lug, Ridge suggests to Taylor that she get a second opinion. And while she’s gotten that advice from Li, it turns out that Ridge was perhaps the one person who could convince her to do so.

Although her loved ones will be praying for a miracle, we kinda think it wouldn’t be the worst thing ever if Taylor were to meet her maker. Here’s why it’s OK if Steffy’s mom makes a permanent exit.

Thursday, October 3:

We thought Finn or perhaps Li would be the ones to offer up a second opinion on Taylor’s condition — and her future. But instead, it’s Dr. Grace Buckingham.

We don’t think of Bill as being vulnerable, although he does seem to have softened a bit in recent years. When he opens up to Katie, how will she respond to his mellower side?

Sure, playing Finn keeps him busy… but that’s not stopping Tanner Novlan from taking on a whole new part!

Friday, October 4:

When Katie needs to discuss her concerns regarding a future with Bill, she turns to Brooke. (Now, given the history between the sisters and Bill, that would be an awkward conversation were this not Bold & Beautiful, where keeping things in the family is practically tradition!)

Taylor isn’t sure she can believe what she’s being told following her latest diagnosis.

Since Daniel learns devastating news, it would appear that Vail Bloom really is done as Heather.
