Soap Spoilers: September 6-10/13-17, 2021

The Young and the Restless

Adam and Victor clash, Sharon asks one of her favorite exes a provocative question, Jack makes a confession to Phyllis, fear tightens its grip on Mariah, and as her wedding day approaches, Victoria sends messages the way we like our drinks: mixed.

Friday, September 3:

Adam puts on the brakes with Sally, and Abby finds Mariah feeding the baby!

Young & Restless wedding shocker! Will Victoria and Ashland’s nuptials actually marry off another couple?!?

There were times — and lots of ’em — when we thought that a day like this would never come, for on it, Victor and Adam share their plans for Newman Media’s future. Which for these two counts as extreme father/son bonding.

When Mariah is haunted by her past, it probably means the poor thing will be having flashbacks to being locked up in that horrid room with only Bowie to talk to and pregnancy protein bars to gnaw on. How will the beleaguered surrogate get past the ordeal to reclaim her life? Maybe it would help if she perused our photo gallery of other, less claustrophobic times in Camryn Grimes’ run on the show.

Week of September 6:

Hot topics! Young & Restless’ romantic shake-ups and catty conflicts — Plus, fans debate Adam’s love life, and will Mariah actually go *there*?

Monday, September 6:

In a surprising turn — because Nick consistently refuses to get involved in his father’s schemes, let alone do his dirty work — Victor recruits his elder son to sabotage Billy’s plans. What ace does the gambler have up his sleeve? And will Nick be able to stop him before the damage is done?

Adam and Sally hit the reset button, which may mean they’ve figured out that they’re just not that into dating each other. If so, is Adam still hoping to steal Sharon back from Rey against what appears to be all odds? Or is he entertaining the idea of giving his love with Chelsea a second (or sixth or seventh) chance?

Mariah worries about her safety, which is not exactly a shocker, given that the man who held her captive is still at large and on the run with the son he busted out of an institution! Considering how obsessed Stitch was with all things Abby, there’s every chance he could turn up back in Genoa City.

Tuesday, September 7:

As Abby struggles to contact Chance — who may not even realize yet that he’s become a father, much less make it home to help out with the little one — we have to wonder how long it will be before she tires of her husband putting his job first. Could this be leading to the heiress deciding to end the marriage that seems to be in name only — even if that name is Chancellor?

When Rey exposes Adam’s true motives, we have to assume that the intentions he reveals have to do with his wife Sharon — because let’s be real, don’t they always?!

Sharon and Tessa comfort Mariah, and we’re not gonna lie: With the surrogate struggling to let go of the baby, we see heartbreak in one woman’s future.

Wednesday, September 8:

We knew the honeymoon couldn’t last forever. On the heels of Newman Media’s launch party, Victor decides he disapproves of Adam’s decision-making. But as his son has reminded him in the past, Victor put Adam in charge of the new venture — so who will prevail?

When Devon opens up to Lily, will he be wrestling with feelings of attachment to his new biological son? Is he perhaps reconsidering his role in the child’s life, given that the intended father, Chance, is nowhere to be found?

Ashland surprises Nate with an unexpected invitation. This is a little out there, but we have to wonder if the tycoon will ask the doctor who was so kind to him the day he had a weak spell at Crimson Lights to be his best man. Honestly, who else could he ask?

Thursday, September 9:

When Jack comes clean with Phyllis, it can only mean he’s going to admit he’s in love with her still — or again — right?! Our soapy senses have been on high alert for a relationship flip-flop since Young & Restless set the stage for a #Phack comeback.

Is Victor concerned about the design of Victoria’s wedding dress or the state of Adam’s love life? We’re going to find out when The Mustache questions Sally’s intentions.

Friday, September 10:

When Nikki receives mixed messages from Victoria, it must be about the planning they’re doing for the great, big Italian nuptials. With all of the undercurrents surrounding the betrothed, we have to wonder: Will Victoria’s grand wedding go off with a hitch? And if so, will it be Ashland and Victoria… or two of their guests who tie the knot?!

It seems to us that Sharon already asked this once, so we have to wonder: What is her motive — and will she get a different response this time around — when she questions Adam about his future with Chelsea?

Ashland receives an unwelcome message, which could indicate that someone (OK, most likely Billy) who had been digging around in his past has finally hit pay dirt!

As Victoria prepares to march down the aisle once again, will Ashland finally be the one that lasts?

The Bold and the Beautiful

Eric catches Quinn with Carter, Zende challenges Paris to be honest, Sheila gets the upper hand on Steffy, and Finn makes the mother of all decisions.

Friday, September 3:

Sheila enacts a manipulative plot to undermine Steffy, and Eric overhears a shocking conversation!

In light of the revelations about his current struggles in the bedroom, it’s not surprising that Eric wants Brooke and Ridge to stay the heck out of his personal life. But when he demands they butt out, will they respect his wishes? If we know Brooke, and we do know Brooke, being rebuffed will only cause her to redouble her efforts. Meanwhile, could the soap be getting ready to tell a truly adult story that will get tongues wagging?

Red alert! Sheila’s anger and frustration at Steffy rises in intensity — which means we could be headed for a very dangerous, and even deadly, clash that could lead to the Forrester family reliving a familiar nightmare all over again!

Week of September 6:

Monday, September 6:

Ah. Well-played, Sheila. Well-played. Rather than unleash a hive of bees or whip out a gun, she faints — and gets just the reaction she’d hope for from Finn. Whereas anyone else would cheer the sight of the villainess collapsed, he actually gets emotional.

Eric may soon learn that ignorance really is bliss. While eavesdropping on Shauna and Quinn, he gets new perspective. Can the women’s topic be anything but the Forresters’ sex life — or lack of one?

Tuesday, September 7:

When Zende receives an unexpected earful from Paris about Steffy and Finn, will he get an inkling that she’s crushing on her handsome housemate?

Things become tense — well, tenser — when Steffy accuses Sheila of faking her illness. But let’s be real: Anyone who has ever met the baby-snatching, husband-stealing, enemy-drowning psycho would consider something like faking an illness child’s play for her.

Wednesday, September 8:

Aha. Apparently, Zende does have a lightbulb moment when Paris is going on and on about Finn and Steffy, because the designer later attempts to get her to admit that she’s sweet on the doctor. The question then becomes, will she be honest with Zende — and herself?

Oh, that’s cold: Sheila ups the ante with Steffy by showing her the emoji text that Finn sent. We can only imagine how hard it’ll be for her not to whack her antagonist upside the head with her phone!

Thursday, September 9:

When Eric spots Quinn and Carter having an intimate conversation, it has to provoke a reaction. But what kind? On one hand, it could stoke his jealousy anew. On the other, he could be moved to wonder about the wisdom of tying his wife to a sexless marriage.

Sheila’s plot to wreak havoc between Steffy and Finn is fully in motion. Where it will go next — and how nasty it will get — is anyone’s guess. But you might be able to glean some hints from this photo gallery of the she-devil’s past crimes and misdemeanors.

Friday, September 10:

If there’s one thing besides designing that Eric excels at, it’s wooing a woman. So expect to swoon as he turns on the charm and romances Quinn with dinner and a dance.

Torn between his birth mother and his wife, Finn makes a big decision. Which you would think would be easy: stand by the stranger who “murdered” your mother-in-law and tried to kill several other people… or stick with the woman you love, with whom you have started a family? But we suspect Finn will not only struggle to make this choice but make the wrong one. Let’s remember “Sinn” in relatively happier, simpler times, shall we, via a photo gallery full of memories.

Hot Topic: Sheila’s plot is as dastardly as it is familiar… and there’s something very shocking ahead for Eric/Quinn/Carter!

We’ll say this for Gladys: She’s one resourceful lady. Today, she figures out exactly how to manipulate a situation to her advantage. Meanwhile, Carly hopes that Brando — despite making it clear he doesn’t want to be involved in Mob life — will be able to lend a helping hand.

When Jax has questions about Nina’s love life, he turns to Ava for answers.

But their differences are put aside at least temporarily when today, the two women have an unexpected heart-to-heart.

How will the emotionally staid Jason react when Dante actually apologizes to him? Meanwhile, Curtis and Sam put their heads together in order to figure out what direction their investigation should take.

Will it be something good or something awful when Nikolas receives an unexpected delivery?

What’s the connection between Drew and a now-dead Naomi? Curtis and Jordan get one step closer to figuring that out!

Portia makes a discover that she’s pretty much completely unprepared for. Meanwhile, the two young women in Spencer’s life — Trina and Esme — clash when they cross paths. And while all this is going on, Nikolas finds himself learning an awfully painful lesson!

Jax seems to have the upper hand when he threatens Nina. But how far will she go to maintain the status quo?

Carly and Jason approach the point of no return as she opens up and admits exactly how she’s feeling.

When Portia admits she’s got a secret, to whom is she confessing?

Never one to be cowed, Maxie makes a bold move.

Why is Ned suddenly worrying about Leo?

Friday, September 10:

Nina hopes cooler heads will prevail if she can just talk sense into Jax.

If Jason’s right and Cyrus is up to his old tricks, how will that impact his and Carly’s wedding plans?

Watch out, TJ, ’cause you’re about to get a big ol’ shock!

Brook Lynn and Maxie entered into something of an unholy alliance which served a purpose for each of them at the time. But now, they’re going to clash over what’s best for the future of little Bailey.
