Days of our Lives Star Lauren Koslow Reunites With Long-Lost Son

Days of our Lives Kate Roberts was reunited with long-lost children Billie and Austin back in the 1990s. Now, Kate’s portrayer, Lauren Koslow, is sharing a special reunion of her own.

Lauren Koslow Reveals Her Long-Lost Son

“HAPPY Birthday Josh!!!” Koslow shared on Instagram along with a photo of her son, Josh, whom she has now been reunited with. “Today, gratefully, joyfully, with never-ending love and a healing heart I can wish my firstborn, my son Josh, Happy Birthday.

“We were separated three days after his birth and lost to each other for nearly a lifetime,” Koslow adds. “Earlier this year across the unfolding of time & space we were reunited. I give thanks to the mystery of the miracle & an @ancestry DNA match. So here we are. We begin again.”

On DAYS, Koslow’s Kate is mother to Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna), Austin Reed (Austin Peck), Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), and twins Rex (Eric Winter) and Cassie (Alexis Thorpe). DAYS devotees recall that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) carried Philip while Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) carried Rex and Cassie.

For folks out there who may be going through something similar in their lives, Koslow adds, “To those of you still searching – Never give up hope. Love finds a way.” The fan-favorite actress added to her post a quote from Alex Haley, author of Roots:

“In all of us there is a hunger, narrow and deep, to know our heritage, to know who we are and where we have come from. Without this enriching knowledge, there is a hollow yearning. No matter what our attainments in life, there is a vacuum, an emptiness and a most disquieting loneliness!”

Family Life

Koslow has two other children with husband Nick Schillace, Department Head, Hair and Makeup, DAYS, a son, Zach (ex-Mark, The Bold and the Beautiful), born in 1988, and a daughter, Millikate born in 1990. We congratulate Koslow on this joyful reunion with her son, Josh.
