Weekly Recaps/Spoilers: November 15-19/22-26, 2021

The Young and the Restless

Adam endeavors to see if he can make someone who already despises him hate him more, trouble galore brings together not one but two sets of exes, Devon is cast in a role for which he hadn’t even realized he’d ever auditioned, and Victor does the only thing that he does better than trounce his enemies: gloat about having done so. Watch this week for more like Ashley dropping the 411 to Abby sending out a 911.

Hot Topic: Now that Chance is finally coming home (albeit with a new face), we take a look at what needs to happen next. A romantic reunion? A custody battle? A whole new job? Bring on the drama!

Friday, November 12:

Billy and Lily are utterly blindsided by Adam, Naya stuns Amanda, and Sally questions the boss!

When Amanda worries about overstepping with Devon, we can’t say as we blame her, considering that Mr. Chill has already exploded once this week. Maybe it’s time he — gasp! — switched to decaf?

As Nina struggles with her grief and Phyllis’ current relationship ends, we can’t help but think it’s the perfect time for Ronan to return to Genoa City. Not that we expect it to happen, but we’d love it.

Billy and Lily are blindsided, which, we’re guessing, is exactly how Victor and Adam planned for their comeuppance to go down. Question is, will the couple be able to pick up the pieces and carry on? Or instead of “game on,” is it “game over”?

Week of November 8:

Monday, November 15:

What with her surrogate being kidnapped by her ex and then her latest husband being presumed dead, nobody could blame Abby for not thinking straight. But neither could anybody blame Victor and Ashley for being concerned about their daughter’s decision-making. Question is, what will they do about it? What can they?

We could all see it coming. But Billy and Lily? Not so much. So the couple walks right into a trap from which they might be able to walk back out.

Because it’s never a modest inquiry or a mundane ask — not in Genoa City, anyway! — the kind of request that Devon receives today is — yep — shocking.

Tuesday, November 16:

When Victor reveals his latest maneuver against Chance Comm, will it also be his last? After all, as opponents go, Billy Boy has been outgunned from the start of his war with the Black Knight.

Serving up a reminder that he’s never been someone who knows when to quit, Adam pushes Rey’s buttons. Wanna bet before the first commercial break, Adam’s face is back on a Most Wanted poster at the post office?

What everyone knows, Billy and Lily are about to learn: Ya play with fire, ya get burned. Now they’re first in line for a harsh reality check.

A sad loss to the soap world after Jerry Douglas (John Abbott) passes away just days before his 89th birthday.

Wednesday, November 17:

Will Jack and Phyllis be able to go back to just being friendly exes after they share an intense moment? Or is it merely a tease, a delay before the show sends her hurtling in an altogether unexpected direction.

Hashtag this development “awkward”: Tessa turns for help to Noah who is not only her ex-boyfriend but her current girlfriend’s half brother.

When Ashley shares unexpected news, will it be the good kind (“The new Chance is hot!”) or the bad (“Wait till ya hear what Abby’s done now, Victor!”).

Thursday, November 18:

As Nikki helps Devon adjust to a new role, our suspicions are twofold: 1. It involves biological son Dominic. 2. He’s going to take to fatherhood like Victor does to a revenge plot. In other words, exceedingly well.

When Abby makes a distress call, we have a feeling it won’t be like ours. “Hello, Wine Pavilion? Come quick! I thought I had two boxes of Merlot left, but I was tipsy, and it turned out they were Cheerios!”

If there’s one thing that Victor enjoys more than plotting an enemy’s downfall, it’s savoring the day that it happens. So it’s going to be champagne all around for the Mustache as he celebrates his complete and total annihilation of Billy.

Friday, November 19:

Well, dang. That was a short victory lap! One minute, Victor is delighting in his triumph over Billy, and the next, he and Devon are working together to find Abby.

Billy has long been the kinda guy who tries to put out a fire by throwing gasoline on it. So perhaps it won’t surprise you that, rather than play it safe going forward, he turns around and makes a dangerous bet.

When Ashland gives Lily unsolicited advice, we can only assume it’s “Dump Billy before it’s too late. You’ve hooked up with an anchor, it’s sinking fast.”

The Bold and the Beautiful

Amorous twists and turns are afoot all over Los Angeles as Eric is on the receiving end of a confession, Carter stumbles upon a concerning scene, and Li learns the devastating truth her husband has been keeping from her — which means life is about to get even more complicated for Finn and Steffy! Watch this next week to find out who will make an unexpected romantic gesture and who will play Cupid …

Hot Topics: Hope finally stood up for herself and we are totally here for it. Plus, just how dumb was Finn’s latest move?

Friday, November 12:

Finn demands Sheila reveal the name of his biological father, Ridge reassures Brooke, and Hope and Liam arrive at an impasse.

Liam is conflicted by Hope’s decision and request. Which you’d sort of expect, given that she’s rarely asked a whole lot of him aside from, “Saaay… do you think you could maybe, just maybe, refrain from sleeping with Steffy?”

Though Jack invites Sheila to lunch, he then hides when Finn arrives. This is likely a precursor to his secret being exposed, wouldn’t you think? Surprisingly, Finn still hasn’t asked Sheila who his biological father is. Are we the only ones who feel like it’s strange that he repeatedly remarks on being curious about his mother his whole life but seems ambivalent about the identity of his dad?

Week of November 15:

Bold & Beautiful star Matthew Atkinson lets loose on Thomas’ confounding storylines and his ‘new’ mama, Krista Allen weighed in!

Monday, November 15:

Rather than let Eric choose his own spouse, Brooke argues with her ex-husband/father-in-law that Donna, not Quinn, is his perfect match. And though they say the heart wants what it wants, the heart hasn’t likely met anyone quite as convincing as Brooke when she sets her mind to something. Will she be able to convince the Forrester patriarch to pull a wife swap?

With visions of happy families dancing in her head, and Deacon refusing to play ball, Sheila presses Jack to divulge the secret that he’s been keeping to Li and Finn. Will the chips that will go flying in the chaos we know is going to ensue as a result of his inevitable confession fall in the she-devil’s favor? Or will they only hasten what we’re certain will be the deadly climax of this storyline.

Tuesday, November 16:

Oh, here we go, folks. Carter admits to a flattered Katie that he’s ready for what’s next in his life… which can only be a relationship with her. Will this pair ride off into the sunset or find themselves confronted with one or more obstacles, which may or may not go by the names Bill and Quinn?

And there it is… Quinn and Eric’s relationship shifts after she makes a true confession, which it’s fairly safe to assume is the humdinger she kept under wraps when they reconciled — she’d been with Carter all along and professed her love to him. Yep, this, combined with Brooke’s pressure for Eric to reunite with Donna, could very well spell the end of this marriage (again!) and leave Quinn scrambling to salvage her relationship with Carter just as he’s decided to date Katie! (If only the show had gone the way that we hoped it would way back when… )

Wednesday, November 17:

When Zende calls upon Quinn’s expertise for the perfect gift for Paris, we’re assuming she’ll design him a piece of jewelry and not point him to the herbal concoction she gave Zoe to upset her sister’s stomach on her first big date with the designer. That would be mean, and frankly, with cutie-patootie Douglas now angling for dad Thomas to get with Paris, Zende is going to need all the help he can get.

When Jack makes a shocking revelation to a devastated Li, she is undoubtedly going to learn that the man she loves had a baby with psychopath Sheila and kept the secret of Finn’s paternity his entire life!

Thursday, November 18:

Betrayed and heartbroken, Li demands that Jack come clean to Finn. Will her husband agree to do so or refuse out of fear that he’ll lose the son to whom he’s always been so close due to his hurtful lies?

When Carter interrupts an awkward moment between Paris and Thomas, will he be too polite to remind her of how harshly she judged him for cheating, considering that she’s in a serious relationship with Zende?

Friday, November 19:

Paris is floored when Thomas makes a surprising romantic overture. Color us skeptical, but how floored can she actually be in light of the eyes they’ve been making at each other? Maybe she’s just surprised that he’s putting on the moves when she’s dating his cousin?!

It’s the moment of truth as Li puts Jack on the spot in front of Steffy and Finn. Already torn up over Sheila’s return to his life and all the drama his mother’s presence entails, how will the doctor cope with yet another body blow? Will the news that Jack is his biological father send Finn into a tailspin that will have him turning his life as he knows it upside-down?

Eric ponders his marital future...

General Hospital

An important meeting occurs, a powerful demonstration is made, an unexpected encounter takes place and someone’s motivation is questioned!

Week of November 8:

Monday, November 8:

Peter has a proposition for Britt, Ms. Wu asks Sonny for a favor, and Nikolas pulls strings for Alexis.

Ms. Wu has proven herself an ally to the Corinthos clan, but will that continue to prove true when she and Sonny take a meeting? Meanwhile, given everything that’s gone on in recent weeks, Diane decides to swing by to check in on Carly.

Britt continues to worry about her mom. (Call us crazy, but we’re of the belief that Obrecht can definitely take care of herself!)

Esme and Cam discuss the possibility of a getaway that we suspect their significant others might want to chime in on.

Sam’s about to receive a bit of news that will set her mind at ease.

Tuesday, November 9:

Brook Lynn takes back control with Gladys, Michael is furious upon learning of Sonny’s deal with Ms. Wu, and Jason figures out Peter’s methods.

After everything that Peter has done, we’re almost afraid to ask what it means that the baddie is about to demonstrate his power.

There’s a fine line between Sonny’s business and personal lives, but it’s the latter that needs dealt with today.

With whom does Willow share an unexpected encounter?

While Brook Lynn and Maxie’s plan hasn’t been what we’d call an unqualified success, they put their heads together and plan the next stage. Meanwhile, Austin has a few questions where Gladys is concerned.

Laura Wright (Carly) opens up about the fallacies that weighed on her younger self: She “was ashamed of her body and thought if she could lose 10 more pounds…”

Wednesday, November 10:

Phyllis agrees to manage Charlie’s for Sonny, Linc steps in to help Curtis on Marshall’s behalf, and Dante learns Alexis has been pardoned.

Elizabeth should brace herself for what she’ll find when she arrives home.

Josslyn and Trina are usually pretty in sync, but that definitely doesn’t seem to be the case today, at least not based on Trina’s reaction.

Maxie wants to know how things are going between Sam and Dante.

We’re about to find out just how good (or bad) Curtis is when it comes to being a manager thanks to a situation which arises at The Savoy.

General Hospital alum Michelle Stafford (ex-Nina) shares nightly family ritual: “I started doing this thing about a month ago. Just hear me out…”

Thursday, November 11:

Austin makes Valentin doubt Brook Lynn, Cam and Joss put on the brakes, Scott plays Ava, and Curtis gets suspicious.

Nina suspects she may soon find herself barred from enjoying a beverage at Charlie’s.

Will the information Austin has to share prove valuable to Valentin?

If you want to find out where things stand between Finn and Elizabeth, join us in eavesdropping on the nurse’s conversation with Portia.

At long last, Josslyn and Cameron get to spend a little time alone together. (Anyone else suspect they’ll be interrupted?)

Friday, November 12:

Chase wants answers from Brook Lynn, Marshall pays Curtis a visit in person, and Robert gets honest with Olivia.

Is Maxie right to question Chase’s motives?

Irony alert! Sonny sits down with Spencer to chat with him about the long and winding road to redemption. Meanwhile, Esme and Trina cross paths at the gallery and things quickly grow tense.

Week of November 15:

Soapbox: Surprised by Sonny 2.0, intrigued by the tease of Brady’s return, worried for Trina, and wondering what’s next for Alexis.

Monday, November 15:

Off Friday’s cliffhanger, Curtis will have questions (and viewers may finally get some answers) regarding his unexpected visitor.

We’ve shipped Chase and Brook Lynn pretty much since the first time he arrested her. But the fact that he’s questioning her honesty could be a real bump in the road to any future romance they might share!

Ava’s gallery is hosting a shindig (more on that in tomorrow’s spoilers), and Esme’s ready to stir up some trouble. Because really, what’s a party in this town without a little drama, right?

The last time Gladys uncovered something, it proved very problematic for several people. So what, exactly, does she discover this time… and whose life will it impact?

Tuesday, November 16:

The real and reel world’s collide at Ava’s art gallery thanks to the opening night gala featuring the works of Joel Satore. If you’re not familiar with his work, you really should be: His Photo Ark project has taken portraits of over 11,000 animals — focusing on those which are endangered — in an effort to raise both awareness of the creatures and raise money to protect them.

Gladys finds herself in the position to make demands which can only be classified as outrageous. But of whom… and will they bend to her blackmail?

Things are about to get a little tricky for Sasha.

Robert drops a bombshell on Anna and Valentin, who are left reeling from his news.

Wait until you see what Peter does this time!

Wednesday, November 17:

Mayhem takes center stage as things get crazy at Ava’s gallery.

Sonny has a few thoughts to share with Alexis, but will they actually prove useful? Meanwhile, what will Carly find out when she has a chat with Phyllis?

Maxie takes on the difficult task of smoothing things over with Austin.

Nina crosses paths with her grandson and Willow. Will Michael’s girlfriend allow her son to spend time with his grandmother?

Thursday, November 18:

If there’s one place on the canvas you don’t want to hear the words “events escalate,” it’s Cassadine Island. And yet that’s exactly what’s about to happen, so gird your collective loins!

Willow thinks it’s beyond time that someone sets the record straight, and it looks like it’s up to her to do so!

Gladys has been trying to connect with Valentin for a while now and it looks like today’s the day.

Austin asks a few questions which leave Maxie questioning his motives.

Although Sonny has populated half of Port Charles, he’s not actually Brando’s dad. But he is there with a bit of fatherly advice when the young man needs it most.

Friday, November 19:

The big drama continues to unfold on Cassadine Island… and it’s a life or death situation. Will everyone survive?

As Brook Lynn finds herself cornered, Chase at long last begins to connect the dots. But when he does the math, will things add up?

Maxie and Nina find themselves worrying about the high price they’ll have to pay because of the secrets they’ve kept.

Is Elizabeth right to be concerned?

On the 6th anniversary of his death, we remember Nathaniel Marston, a daytime leading man whose heartbreaking life was tragically cut short at just 40 years old.

Will what Belle and Shawn find in Marlena’s living room clue them in to what’s going on with her?

Here comes the bride, but as Paulina and Abe’s wedding gets underway, Olivia is getting a bad vibe from Marlena.

When Kate has a change of heart, will that be a good or bad thing for Roman?
