Thanksgiving week reunites families and while the soaps want you to watch, the networks have programmed other things, expecting you to spend that time with your loved ones. Some will be showing repeats, others will have parades or sports and one soap will actually show a new episode. Get all the details about what’s happening this week.
Soaps 2021 Thanksgiving Schedule
Let’s start with Days of our Lives. On Thanksgiving, the show will be pre-empted by the National Dog Show, where more than 2,000 purebred dogs vie to be named “Best in Show” at the annual event. Then on Friday, it will be the only soap that is showing a brand-new episode as your Salem favorites celebrate the holiday, including Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and his bride, Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) as well as the DiMeras and a major MarDevil showdown. Next up is General Hospital, which will show the February 5, 2021 episode in which Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) tells Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) he misses her, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) questions who he is, Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) defends Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) continues to piece together information on Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who faces off with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). On Friday, the show will be pre-empted due to NHL and College Football. For more about what’s coming up in Port Charles, check out all the latest that’s been posted on GH spoilers.
As for The Young and the Restless, Thanksgiving day will show a repeat from earlier this fall in which family and friends gather to celebrate the wedding of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Then on Friday, CBS Sports coverage will pre-empt the show. For more about what’s coming up in Genoa City, check out all the latest that’s been posted on Y&R spoilers.
