Weekly Spoilers: May 30-June 3, 2022

The Young and the Restless

They are women, hear them roar! Sharon, Elena and Victoria all lay down the law. Plus, Chance goes all in, Phyllis goes, “Whaaa?” and Victor goes to a new extreme in his bid to escort Ashland right out of Genoa City.

Friday, May 27:

Phyllis issues a dire warning to Summer, and Chelsea’s behavior leaves Adam concerned.

Given that Summer doesn’t trust Diane as far as she could throw the luggage she struggled to get over the Abbott threshold, it should be easy for Phyllis to recruit her daughter to help take her on. Certainly, Kyle’s wife holds more sway with him than does his conniving mother. Um… right?

Given that Chelsea suffers a setback, we’re going to assume that her shop talk with Summer doesn’t leave her seeing the world sunny side up.

As he always has, Jack protects Kyle’s best interests. Our immediate thought: What has Diane done — or what is she trying to do — now?

Week of May 30:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: Phyllis’ hysteria will play *right* into Diane’s hands, what’s next for Chelsea, Victor’s new ally, trouble for Nate and Elena and more!

Monday, May 30:

Victor has yet to meet the object that’s truly immovable. But Ashland has proven to be… mm… let’s say challenging. Not that The Mustache is deterred. Hell-bent on removing the thorn from his side, he recruits a new ally in his plot against the first of Victoria’s husbands to make Billy look tolerable by comparison.

Though Sharon was dealt a devastating blow with Rey’s untimely and altogether unexpected death, she still stands her ground. With whom, though? Who would push the widow in her darkest hour?

We can only assume that Phyllis and Jack will come up with a winning idea when they strategize to keep Summer and Kyle in town, despite the challenges the young couple face in having to deal with not only the conundrum of Diane’s return from the dead, but also the lying Ashland!

Tuesday, May 31:

Ah, it was only a matter of time once they started working together. Turns out it was also a matter of very little time. Already, Devon and Nate share a difference of opinion.

When Chance makes a promise, you can bet that he intends to keep it. But is he making a vow that he doesn’t even realize that he’s destined to break?

We called it. As Sharon and Nick reminisce about their past, we have a hunch that they’ll be only a kiss away from imagining a future together… just like we predicted way back when.

Wednesday, June 1:

When Victor crosses enemy lines, into whose camp will he be heading? Will he enlist longtime foe Jack’s assistance in eradicating Ashland from all of their lives? Would the Black Knight consider Diane a potentially useful tool in slaying the Locke Ness Monster?

Phyllis is up to her favorite game again as she plays with fire. Funny how no matter how many times she gets burned, she’s always sure that she’s the one who’ll be able to walk away unscathed.

We have faith that Kyle will do the right thing when he faces an ethical dilemma. Well, unless it involves Mommie Dearest. Then our certainty becomes more of a probability that looks a lot like a mere possibility. Could Victor be asking the Abbott heir to help him get rid of Ashland by joining forces?

Thursday, June 2:

You have to get up pretty early in the morning to surprise Phyllis. So we have to wonder how Jack manages to catch Red off guard. Could he be ready to hit the accelerator on their renewed romance?

When Elena sends Imani a message, we can only imagine that it’s going to be something along the lines of “Hands off! Nate’s mine! Done and done!” At least it oughta be!

Perhaps having read the dire fate that we fear is in store for her (catch up here), Diane keeps up appearances. But how long can the she-devil possibly go before her horns knock off the halo she keeps trying to convince everyone belongs on her head?

Friday, June 3:

For what, the zillionth time? Victor gives Ashland an ultimatum. Will this be the one that finally makes the Locke Ness Monster shake in his shoes? Possibly, if we’re right that his opponent is prepared to use Harrison as leverage.

This oughta be fun, ’cause whenever Victoria asserts her independence, you know she’s taking no prisoners.

As Sharon and Nick start to look ever more like they’re going to become “Shick” again...

Let us pay tribute to the beloved daytime alumni , Ray Liotta, that we’ve lost in just the first half of 2022...

The Bold and the Beautiful

The times, they are a-changin’! Donna has a big ask of Eric, Carter comes clean about his true feelings for Quinn, and Brooke pulls out all the stops to reclaim Ridge. Not only that, but poor, beleaguered Steffy musters up the strength to say a crushing goodbye.

Friday, May 27:

Brooke and Taylor have it out over Ridge, and Paris accuses Carter and Quinn of still carrying on.

At least it’s not Donna and Quinn… yet. How will Eric fare when he attempts to defuse a quarrel between Taylor and Brooke over Ridge? If he starts spouting his usual line about Brooke and Ridge belonging together, Doc isn’t going to take kindly to it, we’re sure!

Let’s get ready to ruuumble!! Paris pushes back when busybody Grace demands she choose Zende over Carter. We can’t imagine what the elder Buckingham is thinking, but we’re keen to see what her daughter will have to say as she stands up for her right to choose her own man, thank you very much.

Week of May 30:

Monday, May 30:

Well, this isn’t foreshadow-y at all: Carter worries to Quinn that Paris may interfere in her marriage to Eric. Little do they know the marriage may be on unstable ground already, what with the Forrester patriarch indulging in extracurricular activities of the, er, sticky variety with his ex-wife.

Knowing that Finn is alive really will put a different twist on being a viewer when Ridge and Thomas comfort an emotional Steffy over her lost future with her husband.

Tuesday, May 31:

When Quinn attempts to dissuade Carter from making a foolish move with Paris, is his ex-lover truly concerned that he’s about to make a mistake… or is she secretly hoping he’ll be waiting in the wings if she’s unsuccessful in luring Eric out of the ol’ Forrester guesthouse?!

The depth of Steffy’s despair at losing Finn leads her on a new path. Will Ridge’s devastated daughter pack up the kids and head out of town to get away from the constant painful reminders of her loving husband, or will she instead be walking a well-worn triangular path as she leans more heavily on Liam for support?

Wednesday, June 1:

Li urges Finn to fight for his life and get back to Steffy and Hayes. This will come as a relief to those who feared she somehow blamed her daughter-in-law for what had happened to her son. It looks like the desperately hopeful mom is merely protecting her grandson’s mom from the possibility of having to lose her love all over again. The question is, will her pleas be enough to awaken the sleeping doctor?!

If you have any tissues left after Steffy’s emotional meltdown last week, we advise you to have ’em at the ready when the heartbroken mom of two breaks down in Liam’s arms as she says an emotional goodbye. Apparently, she’s yet to review our photo gallery of characters who have cheated death. She might just see a familiar face in it.

Thursday, June 2:

A “Quarter” for your thoughts on this blockbuster development: Unable to contain his true feelings, Carter professes his love to Quinn. Yes, it seems the fit and fabulous Forrester COO is in for a “Quarter,” in for a pound!

Welp, the peace accord struck between Brooke and Taylor oh-so-briefly in the office mere days ago has clearly unraveled completely as Ridge intervenes when the two women bicker. Is anyone out there surprised?

Friday, June 3:

Deacon offers Brooke reassurance after her failed attempt with Ridge. Something tells us the con who loves her might have more than just comforting words to put forward… but will the blonde be able to take her eyes off the prize that is “destiny” long enough to notice?

Count the honey bottles! Donna takes Eric on a trip down memory lane before making a stunning request. Uh-oh… has the patriarch’s vivacious ex-wife and lover decided she’d like to be his current wife again?!

Week of June 6:

Monday, June 6:

Was he really expecting this to go as smooth as honey?! Eric manages his entanglement with Donna while married to Quinn. Now, he has loads of experience dealing with these situations, but we’re not sure we ever recall him emerging from one unscathed. Queen Stephanie always caught him red-handed!

Never one to call it quits, La Logan may have to dig deep in the closet for a racy throwback from the Brooke’s Bedroom lingerie line when she surprises Ridge with a late-night visit and a plea to reunite.

General Hospital

Things get explosive as the visitation hearing builds toward a verdict, Carly gets the information she’s been awaiting, the truth about Marshall comes to light, and Elizabeth may be at a turning point.

Week of May 23:

Monday, May 23:

Liz gets some answers regarding her sleepwalking, Michael and Willow spar with Nina before the hearing, and Carly learns the DNA results are in.

Dante has done his best to be supportive of his dad, but he’s not so sure he supports Sonny’s latest decision. Meanwhile, Carly tries to get her zen on only to have her yoga session interrupted. Things will definitely not be peaceful at the studio…

Britt’s been under Selina’s thumb for a while now, and she’s been ordered to keep Brad in line. But the question she asks today might indicate she’s ready to defy her pal’s aunt.

The mystery of Elizabeth’s haunting gets a bit closer to being solved as she closes in on the truth about recent events.

Where Linc goes, trouble follows, which is why Brook Lynn is so frustrated with her current situation.

How will Curtis react to the news TJ shares with him?

Tuesday, May 24:

Scott makes a bold move after things don’t go well for Nina at her hearing, and Elizabeth makes a decision about her situation and health.

The hearing which will decide Wiley’s future gets underway with Nina taking the stand. (Who’s bringing the popcorn?) As things progress, Scott decides to roll the dice by putting a questionable witness on the stand.

Elizabeth’s loved ones rally around her.

When Alexis butts heads with Gregory, is it really about The Invader… or might there be something more beneath the surface?

Wednesday, May 25:

Due to news coverage, the ABC soap was pre-empted and will air today’s episode on Thursday.

Thursday, May 26:

Sonny testifies in support of Nina, Scott calls Michael to the stand, and Amy works to derail Chet and Terry’s relationship.

Anyone who thought the visitation hearing would be a simple, civilly-handled manner has clearly not been paying attention as lines were drawn and sides were chosen. Today, things continue to escalate…

Cam is upset when his time with Josslyn is interrupted, but she does her best to soothe his ruffled feathers.

No, Rory hasn’t suddenly become an art aficionado. We’re pretty sure the real reason he’s hanging out at Ava’s gallery has something to do with Trina.

Pour the martinis and watch the sparks fly as Ava and Victor try to out-charm one another. Should Nikolas be worried about the company his wife is keeping? And what will Spencer’s dad be able to pry out of Britt when he pays her a visit?

How will Esme feel about the latest condition put on Spencer’s trust-fund allowance?

Friday, May 27:

Willow confronts Nina during a recess at the hearing, Trina finds herself distracted by Rory, and Ava may have pushed Nikolas too far… and right into Esme’s hands.

This isn’t the first time Michael and Sonny have found themselves at odds. But when the younger man takes the stand at the visitation hearing, will what he says create an even larger rift between them?

Well, here’s an interesting twist: Victor finds himself serving as a chaperone between Nikolas and his wife, Ava!

Spencer is likely to be seeing green after he catches sight of Trina hanging out with Rory.

Chet shares a bit of news with Terry while his sister, Amy, eavesdrops.

General Hospital ends love story just as it begins: Chris Van Etten out as Chet.

Esme does what Esme does best… which, in case there were any doubt, means stirring up trouble. Who will she lure into her web this time?

Brando no! Johnny Wactor recast —

Week of May 30:

Monday, May 30:

The soap will air an encore of its Tuesday, October 26, 2021, episode, where Sonny and Carly were concerned about Michael, Willow vented to Sasha, Brook Lynn confronted Gladys, Spencer pondered his prospects with Esme, and Ned turned to Austin for advice.

Tuesday, May 31:

All the local singles gather to mingle at the Metro Court pool as the Society Setups event gets underway. Who’ll wind up connecting with whom?

Things get heated at the courthouse as the hearing draws closer to its conclusion.

The pieces may fall into place for Esme when she just happens to find a vulnerable Nikolas drowning his sorrows, all alone.

Chet has a tough decision to make, and Terry does what she can to help.

Well, this sounds downright dangerous: Ava and Laura have a conversation over target practice! Here’s hoping nobody ends up with a knife — er, axe — in their back!

Wednesday, June 1:

Something tells us that no matter what the judge rules today, it’s going to have a ripple effect across Port Charles. Meanwhile, Carly is finally going to get the information she’s been waiting for. But what will it reveal?

Things are about to get a little bit chaotic at the Society Setups event. Why? Because Britt’s going to have a few cocktails and cause a bit of a scene!

#Vanna fans are going to be very happy today, as sparks between Anna and Valentin will definitely be flying thanks to the challenge she issues him.

Oh dear. It looks as if Nikolas might be drawn even deeper into Esme’s wicked web. Fight the temptation, Nickolas! Fight it!

Thursday, June 2:

With half of Port Charles looking on, Britt tells Dante that she wants someone to be arrested.

At the courthouse, everyone tries to figure out what the newly-handed-down verdict will mean for their collective futures. How will Drew’s arrival impact things?

Sonny wants to be there for Nina, but he can’t seem to get in touch with her.

Josslyn is in the park with Wiley when she once again proves to be her mother’s daughter. Will she regret what she decides to do?

Spencer and Ava head off in search of their missing significant others. Okay, fine, in the case of Spencer it’s more like his faux significant other. Are we heading toward the Spencer/Ava pairing which his portrayer recently admitted seemed like a potentially explosive — and not at all unlikely — twist?

Friday, June 3:

Sam’s going to be taken aback by what she hears regarding her beau Dante.

Between the sex tape and Esme, Josslyn and Cameron have not had the easiest of times lately. When she asks to talk, will it help bridge the gap… or only make it wider?

Things are about to get mighty awkward between Portia, Taggert, Rory and Trina!

Ava wants to know why Nikolas is acting so strange. (Trust us, Ava, maybe you don’t really want to know!)

Days of Our Lives

Leo’s been plotting revenge against those who wronged him, but Will is ready to draw a line in the sand. Meanwhile, Belle has a shock for Shawn, EJ shares an unexpected kiss and the French Open tennis tournament has the nerve to knock the soap off the air for several days!

Week of May 23:

Monday, May 23:

Kristen votes for Gabi and then privately reaches out to Jake. Plus, Belle and EJ commiserate, Gabi and Li celebrate, and Jan manipulates.

Few things in life are certain, but you can always count on Kristen to make things interesting wherever she goes. In this case, she’s about to turn the DiMera shareholder meeting into the kind of mess that viewers will appreciate a whole lot more than attendees!

The devil may have caused Johnny to hurt Chanel, but the young man hopes to make up for lost time. When he suggests they re-tie the knot that was undone almost immediately after they wed, will she see it as a good idea?

What starts out as a confrontation between Belle and Jan turns into something far more serious.

Why is Allie’s heart breaking over her future?

Tuesday, May 24:

Leo poisons Sonny, Rafe gives Nicole a diamond ring, EJ confides in Belle about Clyde, and Xander vows to never give up on Sarah.

If we could sell tickets to the showdown Leo and Nancy are about to have, we definitely would.

Despite their difficult-at-best history, Clyde and Ben manage to share a warm moment. (I guess babies really do work miracles!)

This could be a changing day for Sarah and Xander, and least if she allows him to make up for past mistakes.

Wednesday, May 25:

Nicole eagerly accepts Rafe’s proposal, Eric learns he’s being removed as a priest, and Jake has sex with Ava, while Gabi hooks up with Li.

Thursday, May 26:

Sarah seeks out Xander, Nicole and Eric share life-changing news with each other, and Abe is all in with Paulina.

Abe is once again falling for Paulina. Unfortunately, she’s once again keeping a pretty huge secret from him! Will the fact that she’s doing it to protect Lani buy her a Get-Out-of-Trouble Free card?

Lani is the kind of woman who can’t help but carry around some guilt, and right now, the load is becoming unbearable!

Remember that brief moment when Chanel and Xander were an item? Perhaps he can play on that when asking her for an important favor. Meanwhile, Sarah is on the receiving end of surprising advice from Eric.

Friday, May 27:

Will returns after Leo publishes photos of himself in bed with a drugged Sonny, and EJ kisses Belle after a run-in with Shawn and Jan.

The fact that Sonny finds himself having to try and figure out exactly what happened last night sounds as if it might be problematic… especially where his marriage is concerned! Meanwhile, Leo turns to Gwen for help as he continues working his way down that list of enemies he recently created. Who might he target next?

There’s just got to be a reasonable explanation for the fact that EJ and Belle walk in on Jan and Shawn in an embrace… right?

When Gabi and Li make a decision about their future, will it be with regards to business, pleasure… or a potentially unholy union of the two?

Week of May 30:

Monday, May 30:

The NBC soap will be pre-empted today.

Tuesday, May 31:

Talk about interesting timing! Even as rumors circulate that Abby will soon die (and find herself being beheaded!), Chad’s wife approaches him about the possibility of having another child.

Having dealt with Leo far too many times, Sonny knows better than to take the scorned man’s actions lightly. But will he be able to convince Will to call the police?

Belle and EJ, up in a tree… K-I-S-S-I-N-G. But the real question is who spots them locking lips… and what might they do with the information?

Xarah fans will not want to miss today’s episode, in which the pair has a major breakthrough. Will this finally be the ticket to getting them back on track?

Wednesday, June 1:

Belle continues to struggle with everything going on between Shawn and Jan… to the point that she asks her husband to sign legal documents! Meanwhile, Jan turns to Marlena, of all people, for help.

Ciara goes to Rafe with a very special request.

Sure, most people find it hard to imagine Belle and EJ becoming a couple… but Nicole is entirely in their corner. (Heck, maybe she’s only throwing her support being the pairing because she knows how much it would tick off her nemesis, Sami!)

Thursday, June 2:

The NBC soap will be pre-empted today.

Friday, June 3:

The NBC soap will be pre-empted today.
