Y&R Alum Chris McKenna Announces He Tied The Knot Amid Pandemic

The Young and the Restless viewers haven’t seen Detective Mark Harding since 2015, but his portrayer Chris McKenna has been busy. Recently the actor, who got his start as Joey Buchanan on ABC’s defunct soap opera One Life to Live, announced he made an exciting move during the coronavirus pandemic.

Chris McKenna Announces Marriage

McKenna recently took to social media to let his fans know that he took the plunge recently and married his fiancée, Lovisa.

Along with a clip of him picking up his new wife and kissing her, the actor wrote a heartfelt caption, explaining the situation. “We’re married!! Can’t keep it a secret any longer.”

He went on to reveal some details about their big day and plans for later. “We eloped during the pandemic and will have a proper ceremony in [the] future. I’m so happy, I’m so proud, and so very deeply in love with this woman. Min älskling. Alltid [which translates from Swedish as ‘always my darling’]. Introducing the incredible, the brilliant, the amazing Mrs. Lovisa McKenna.”

Y&R stars and former stars Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin) and Jessica Collins (ex-Avery Bailey Clark) congratulated the soap veteran and his new wife.

The couple got engaged on Christmas morning in 2020, and it sounds like they intend to have a celebration with family and friends in the future. Currently, fans of Chris McKenna can watch him on the Freeform series Good Trouble as Marc Rothman. Soap Hub sends its best wishes to the happy couple.
