When it comes to Days of our Lives, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the Days of our Lives week that was.
Days of our Lives: A Critic’s Week In Review
Methinks a great many of the characters on Days of our Lives are protesting too much. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is still sweet on Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), and well he knows it. Nicole is still likewise enamored, so much so that she’s pushed up her and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) wedding date up to this coming week…as if being married ever kept her from cheating.
And speaking of wayward wives, no matter what Belle Brady (Martha Madison) says, if EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) wasn’t in the picture, she’d be putting up much more a fight for her marriage. Also, what does Belle expect Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) to do with his and Jan Spears’s (Heather Lindell) baby once it’s born? Put it up for adoption? And what happens if he refuses? Will she initiate divorce proceedings then?
Further DAYS Musings
* Am I wrong in feeling that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) reconciliation was a bit…rushed? One minute she’s telling him point blank that she’ll probably not be able to forgive him – this time! – for letting her believe that her baby girl was alive and well, then next she’s reliving some happy ‘Xarah’ memories, and the next she and Xander are getting horizontal.
For a reunion that’s been nearly two years in the making, I was left wanting.
* Days of Our Lives Dialogue Of The Week:
Shawn: Jan…Jan asked to babysit Bo
Ciara: Uh, no. No, no, no. Shawn, no. Solid no. Nope, nope, Nopety nope.
* You Tell Me Days of our Lives devotees: Now that Rafe has accepted the offer to be Baby Bo’s godfather, who should Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) select as godmother?
