The Bold and the Beautiful had Carter Walton reveal which woman holds the key to his heart. For his passionate performances as a man in love, Soap Hub bestows Performer of the Week for B&B honors to Carter’s portrayer, Lawrence Saint-Victor.
Lawrence Saint-Victor – Performer of the Week
Carter Walton usually maintains a cool and calm demeanor. He thinks logically (helpful in his role as a lawyer) but lately, the guy’s been a bit antsy and agitated. Ex-girlfriend Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) putting him and his ex-lover Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) on notice has caused him to start asking questions about what’s going to make him truly happy in life.
Quinn couldn’t figure out why Carter was so upset. He passionately explained that he wants a relationship — and the things in life that other people have. The more Carter went on about possibly reuniting with Paris, it was clear that he is truly still in love with Quinn and he’s hoping that if he chooses Paris then that longing will go away. “I want to make something with someone,” Carter cried out to Quinn. “I keep telling myself to be patient. What am I waiting for?
“I’m tired of being stuck,” Carter continued. “I need to move on and I can do that with Paris. And that commitment will send to her a message…[to] stop asking questions about my feelings for you.” And there it is. Carter’s still passionately in love with Quinn. He doesn’t want to hurt his boss and friend Eric Forrester (John McCook).
The more Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) kept trying to talk himself in the fact that he could be happy with Paris the more it became clear that Quinn’s the woman with whom he truly wants to share his future. Carter confessed he’s always going to care for Quinn; instead of that freeing him that only prompted him to share more of his angsty feelings.
“How many weddings have I presided over?” Carter rhetorically asked. “How many people have I walked into their future while I sit home alone? I don’t want that. I want to be a husband in the worst way. I want a family.”
When Quinn asked Carter if Paris was the woman he loved, he responded that they both knew the answer to that inquiry. As the week progressed, Carter’s composed himself a bit but it’s clear that his passionate love for Quinn is still the primary emotion in his life.
Lawrence Saint-Victor has taken Carter down a few roads since Quinn broke things off with him. He shared some nice moments with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and then, he pursued a relationship with Paris. However, it’s clear now that Quinn is the woman who holds Carter’s heart.
What Carter and Quinn are both unaware of is that Eric has taken up with his ex-wife Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) once more. So, it’s indeed possible that the couple fans affectionally call #Quarter is going to get a second chance. What we do know is that Lawrence Saint-Victor has emerged as one of B&B’s most passionate leading men.
