Weekly Soap Spoilers: June 20-24, 2022

The Young and the Restless

Chelsea is given cause to pause and reflect on her “colorful” history, Victor seizes an opportunity to redefine fatherly love by thwarting Victoria, Diane grabs at a chance to make inroads with Jack, and Phyllis reaches for… Wait, what? An olive branch? Is she going to whack someone across the face with it?

Friday, June 17:

Ashley and Traci look back on the most precious and poignant times of their lives as they welcome Allie into the Abbott family.

Believe it or not, it was 40 years ago that we first met Beth Maitland’s Traci and Eileen Davidson’s Ashley. In a very special episode, the Abbott sisters look back on the good times and the bad. “They did such a fantastic job of finding old clips,” Maitland recently told us. “There are some that I haven’t seen since the first time they aired!”

Week of June 20:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: Victoria’s gunning for Newman, the launch party never got off the ground, those fabulous flashbacks, and can we keep Jill?!

Monday, June 20:

How cute are these?! Young & Restless’ Victor Newman finally gets the respect — or at least the dessert — he deserves.

Lauren hasn’t been thrilled to have Michael working for Victor again. Wonder if she’ll like it any better when Nikki recruits the legal eagle to help out with her latest “project”? Could this be another angle in the Newmans’ scheme to get Victoria away from Ashland and back into the fold? If so, Nikki shouldn’t have any trouble convincing the vengeful attorney to get on board!

Billy was thrilled to have his mom back in town for the merger party. But when she starts grilling him, he may be ready to send her packing again!

What the heck is Imani doing that Nate finds so distracting? Does Elena have reason to be worried after all?! He’s committed to his girlfriend, but he’s only human.

Tuesday, June 21:

On your Marchetti… get set… go! When Kyle takes on a new challenge, the safe money is that it will be to turn the design firm into a power player the likes of Forrester Creations.

Surely, old friends who have been through as much as Chelsea and Chloe will be able to work it out… um… right? Maybe not. When the gal pals share a difference of opinion, we can only hope that they’ll be able to resolve it. After a bit of entertaining squabbling, that is!

Phyllis makes a bold move. Well, of course she does. Have we ever known her to make any other kind? The question is, toward — or away from — whom does she make it? She’s in a particularly precarious position at the moment, what with her future with Jack looking so much like it’s in the past. She can’t afford even the tiniest misstep.

Wednesday, June 22:

Something tells us that Victor shouldn’t expect a thank-you note after he rallies the Newmans to help Victoria. If there’s one thing that she doesn’t want right about now, it’s her family involved in her life or her remake of “Ashtoria.”

Uh-oh. If Chelsea revisits her past, will she be contemplating pulling another con? No, right? She couldn’t be. At this point, she’s been burned so often by her criminal endeavors that she has to know better than to play with fire. (If she doesn’t, our photo gallery of her life and crimes could serve as a very handy reminder!)

Curiouser and curiouser. When Lily makes an interesting discovery, it doesn’t seem like she keeps it to herself for very long.

Life after playing Ashland, Richard Burgi salutes a ‘great young man and his amazing journey.’

Thursday, June 23:

Amanda learns disturbing news. Our prediction: Whatever Lily finds out the previous day, she shares with her brother’s girlfriend today.

We never really thought of Michael as a compass, but we may have to start after he points Diane in the right direction. In the long run, however, we still suspect that his friendship with the lady Lazarus is going to bite him in the you-know-what.

Friday, June 24:

See, Victor? This is why you didn’t get a Father’s Day card from your daughter! What could he expect when he’s out there doing stuff like derailing Victoria’s new venture? Good thing she’s super rich.

I’m” and “sorry” are legendarily two of the hardest words to say in the English language, especially in that order. But Phyllis gives it the old college try when she extends an olive branch. Will her efforts be too little, too late? Could be, seeing as…

Diane seizes an opportunity with Jack. And if the she-devil is so much as seeing an opportunity with Jack, it can only mean that he and Red are still very much on the outs. Maybe this would be a good time to remind him of the kind of chaos that Diane has been known to wreak.

Week of June 27:

Monday, June 27:

Though Jack stands his ground with Phyllis, we have to believe that that ground is still pretty shaky.

Please don’t tell us the honeymoon’s over already. When Tessa faces an unexpected crisis, will it mean that trouble’s afoot in her marriage to bride Mariah?

No one could blame Nick if he needed a little time-out from Genoa City and his family. Wonder if as he contemplates a change in scenery, he’ll be pondering taking in the view with the certain someone we’ve suspected he’s been seeing on the sly.

Keep your eyes peeled for familiar faces from Young & Restless...

The Bold and the Beautiful

Chelsea is given cause to pause and reflect on her “colorful” history, Victor seizes an opportunity to redefine fatherly love by thwarting Victoria, Diane grabs at a chance to make inroads with Jack, and Phyllis reaches for… Wait, what? An olive branch? Is she going to whack someone across the face with it?

Friday, June 17:

Hope confronts Eric about his affair, Carter puts a ring on Quinn’s finger, and a terrified Li hugs it out with Sheila.

Why is it that the inability to contact people always strikes at such inopportune moments on soap operas? Ridge and Taylor attempt to reach Li to warn her that Sheila has escaped prison. As we touched on previously, this scenario can only be exceedingly bad news for Finn’s adoptive mom.

Whoops! Carter and Quinn’s love and passion for each other become apparent — but to whom? Given the lurking and door-peeping that’s become a regular occurrence at Forrester Creations, we’re just going to say we’re concerned.

Week of June 20:

Monday, June 20:

Carter may love Quinn beyond words, but she’s still committed to her “loyal” husband. So, will she have a leg to stand on when she attempts to convince her former lover not to propose to Paris? We’re guessing that against all reason, Carter will decide to pop the question.

Well, it appears — as predicted — Sheila caught up with Li. We know this because they’re together when they receive an unexpected surprise. Might Finn regain consciousness? If so, we have to wonder what he’ll wake up to — perhaps one mother trying to off the other?!?

Tuesday, June 21:

Called it! Carter moves on from his love for Quinn and proposes to Paris. The question is, will Paris accept despite her mother Grace’s extreme opposition? Who are we kidding? Of course she will!

Straight out of a horror flick! With Sheila in hot pursuit, a frightened Li makes a run for her life. Will she make it to safety or meet a ghastly fate at the hands of the psycho who is determined to bond with Finn despite trying to make him a widower?

Wednesday, June 22:

It will come as a surprise to no one that Paris instigates an argument after flaunting her engagement ring… to Grace. We’re guessing Mama Bear’s going to roar upon getting this news. We wouldn’t be surprised, either, if this was when the story takes the crazy new direction we predicted a while back.

The king of waffling himself — Ridge — offers Carter a truthful perspective on his situation with Quinn and Paris. Will his long-time attorney and pal take the advice to heart or take it with a grain of salt, considering that its source only recently flip-flopped from Brooke to Taylor and back again?

Thursday, June 23:

Of course they do! Paris and Carter move up their wedding date amidst push-back from their loved ones. Because forging full-steam ahead is the logical thing to do when everyone’s urging you to slow your roll. Maybe it’s time to bring back [Spoiler]…

With breathtakingly awful timing (he’s about to marry Paris!), Carter makes a stunning admission about his genuine love for Quinn to Ridge. What will the dressmaker have to say, given that the woman who holds his friend’s heart in her hands… is his stepmother?!

Friday, June 24:

Honey, I’m comin’ home!” Eric promises a bright future to an overjoyed Donna. The stumper is, when will he get around to letting Quinn in on his life-changing plans?

Aaawkward! Quinn and Bridget learn a shocking truth about Eric’s pickleball “exercise.” We’re guessing they’ll be even more shocked than Hope to discover that the Forrester patriarch has not been hitting the courts but has instead been giving his ticker a different sort of workout whilst in bed with a buxom Logan — who just happens to be his ex-wife!

Week of June 27:

Monday, June 27:

When Donna was enthusing about the good news Eric gave her the other day, she might have paused to consider the possible ramifications… which are about to come a-knockin’ while the bed’s a-rockin’. Hide the breakable honey jars because all hell is bound to break loose when Quinn and Bridget bust Eric and Donna in bed!

As Carter and Paris’ wedding begins, Quinn grapples with having lost her two true loves. Will it occur to the heartbroken (and probably furious) brunette to make her way to the big event to try and stop Carter from marrying his second choice? We sure hope so!

Could Sheila actually wind up being responsible for the inevitable Steffy/Finn reunion? Here’s how we see it going down…

As Donna and Eric bop merrily toward their future together...

General Hospital

Chelsea is given cause to pause and reflect on her “colorful” history, Victor seizes an opportunity to redefine fatherly love by thwarting Victoria, Diane grabs at a chance to make inroads with Jack, and Phyllis reaches for… Wait, what? An olive branch? Is she going to whack someone across the face with it?

Week of June 13:

Monday, June 13:

Drew and Michael make a pitch to Lucy, Felicia warns Esme about Ryan, and Valentin refuses to lose ELQ.

Things are in a state of flux at Aurora Media, but that could change this week, depending on how Michael feels about the companies new backer. In other business news, Valentin makes it clear he has no intention of stepping down from the top spot at ELQ!

Spencer is getting increasingly desperate to figure out a way to expose the truth about Esme. Will his latest plan finally prove successful? And what will Ava think about the proposition Nikolas makes?

What will Martin do with the new information he receives from Jordan?

Esme has a rather tense confrontation.

Tuesday, June 14:

Finn and family hit the Pautuck to camp, as do Austin and Maxie, and something in the woods spies on them. Plus, Sonny and Carly come to an understanding, and Cody trails Zelda.

Things are really bad between Sonny and his son. Given that Carly is far more likely to see things Michael’s way than Sonny’s these days, how will the estranged couple’s chat about the situation wind up going?

When you need help figuring out something involving computers, you go to Spinelli, right? Well, that’s exactly what Joss and Trina finally do today. Geez, ladies, what took you so long?

Sam and Dante have a few questions for the new guy in town.

Finn and Gregory take Aiden, Jake, Cameron and Violet camping, in conjunction with the PC Pioneers, to escape their concerns about Liz.

In Pautuck, Austin is caught off guard by an unexpected arrival.

Wednesday, June 15:

Trina and Joss discover Esme bought a burner phone at a shady bar, Austin takes a meeting with a mysterious person in the woods near the campground, and both Linc and Cody attend Selina Wu’s latest game.

An unusual noise has Maxie freaking out. But is she doing so with good cause?

Even with Elizabeth out of the picture, Finn’s doing his best to help the family she’s temporarily left behind… and he just might be scoring points with Cameron.

Curtis is very interested in keeping his business and personal lives separate, especially where Selina Wu is concerned. But when she crosses paths with TJ, Curtis will immediately have cause to worry!

Will what Brook Lynn and Chase discover about Linc help or hurt her cause?

It’s starting to feel as if Joss and Trina might have gotten themselves in over their heads!

Thursday, June 16:

Due on to ongoing news, the show was preempted today.

Friday, June 17:

Rory is forced to arrest Chase after he decks Linc, and Anna questions Valentin’s motives while on their date.

Given how long Valentin and Anna have been circling one another, it’s almost ridiculous that they haven’t had an official date. But that’s about to change!

Sonny put it all on the line for Nina, so why is she now questioning his motives? And when Carly’s happy to see Drew, is it a sign that she’s ready to move on from Sonny?

Britt is on the receiving end of some attention she would definitely classify as “unwanted.”

Brook Lynn lays out her whole Linc-related plan to Chase. But it will probably surprise absolutely no one to hear that things go off the rails!

Selina isn’t pleased when Brad passes along a bit of information about the latest game to unfold at The Savoy!

Week of June 20:

Monday, June 20:

Esme thinks that perhaps Kevin can provide her a little bit of insight. (Wonder how he’d feel to know that he’s actually offering advice to his psycho brother’s daughter?) Meanwhile, Spencer, too, seeks advice, but he winds up turning to Uncle Victor for help.

Mac is going to lose his cool when he finds out what Felicia’s been up to… and with good reason!

Remember when Martin and Laura were being targeted by someone while they were away from Port Charles? Cyrus swore he wasn’t responsible, but was he telling the truth? The discussion Laura and Martin have today may shed more light on the situation…

A whole lot of people have reason to be worried about Trina, and they compare notes today.

As Anna and Valentin’s first date continues, he opens up a bit. But how will she feel about what he confesses?

Tuesday, June 21:

You know how some primetime shows make a big deal about reaching their 100th episode? Well, today General Hospital is going to be airing its 15,000th. Appropriately enough, the episode will focus on much-loved Port Charles Mayor Laura Collins as some unknown adversary takes aim at her.

Wednesday, June 22:

Control of ELQ could be decided as the board gathers for an important meeting. Meanwhile, Carly tells Olivia — aka her partner at the Metro Court — all about her latest business maneuver.

Is Chase right to be worried about what the future holds for him where the PCPD is concerned? On the plus side, at least he’s talking about his feelings with Brook Lynn.

Britt has been ticked with Brad ever since he turned her poolside rant into a viral sensation. Will his attempt to make peace be hampered by the fact that he’s not being totally honest?

Dante and Cody wind up discussing the past after Sam’s beau asks the newbie what happened to him.

Thursday, June 23:

Things could get a bit messy — and potentially loud — when Olivia has it out with Nina and Sasha. Something tells us throwing Willow into the combustible mix isn’t likely to help matters!

Sonny wants Brando and Dex to put aside their differences and start getting along. Yeah, good luck with that one, boss man!

Drew makes it clear exactly where he stands with Valentin.

Carly has reason to celebrate, and who better to do that with than Josslyn and Bobbie?

When Chase finally gets word, Brook Lynn’s the person he most wants to share it with.

Friday, June 24:

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that bathing suits aren’t the only revealing things at the Metro Court pool. That proves true today when something unexpected leads to a bit of info coming to light.

Michael’s making plans for his next move against Sonny… and you’ll never guess who overhears!

Nina and Obrecht discuss their love lives.

Anna wants to know more about Valentin’s relationship with and loyalty to newfound dad Victor.

As Epiphany prepares for one of the biggest days of her life, TJ is right there in her corner.

Which General Hospital couples are coming together, and which are falling apart — and which are about to?!?

Days of Our Lives

There’s big doings coming up in Salem, beginning with the wedding of Paulina and Abe. Here’s hoping things go as planned… although this being a Salem wedding, we’re not sure that’s possible. Meanwhile, Sami is about to get the shock of her life, and Jan seems poised to get exactly what she’s been hoping for!

Week of June 20:

Monday, June 20:

Break out the bubbly and raise a glass, because Paulina and her loved ones have reason to celebrate: She’s finally being released on bail. Of course, there’s still a long way to go before she’s a free woman, what with having confessed to a crime she didn’t commit and all!

Speaking of that crime, the real shooter — Lani — is being haunted by the dad she did away with.

Sarah’s continuing to behave strangely… in this case, going so far as to attack Nicole!

If anyone can get the truth out of Gwen, it might be fellow schemer Ava. But will Gwen really open up to her?

Tuesday, June 21:

It’s a huge moment as Salem prepares to celebrate Juneteenth for the very first time. (Yes, it’s a few days late, thanks to pre-emptions! Those same pre-emptions that pre-empted Valentine's Day due to the #WinterOlympicGames 2022) Abe and Paulina decide this is the perfect day on which to declare their love for one another publicly and become man and wife.

When Johnny offers to help Chanel out, will she take him up on his offer?

As Theo and Olivia arrive for Paulina and Abe’s wedding, Lani is getting ever closer to the breaking point. How much longer will she be able to keep things together?

Wednesday, June 22:

When Eric was stripped of his priesthood, some folks assumed he’d immediately run to confess his love for Nicole. However, that didn’t happen. Nor did Nicole dump hubby-to-be Rafe upon learning that Eric was no longer bound to the church. But will the longtime pair’s chemistry prove impossible to ignore when they share a close moment?

Even as the wedding is rocked by a shocking revelation, Julie puts a plot in motion she hopes will save the day!

Chanel continues to be the woman in the middle as Allie and Johnny find themselves bickering over the beauty.

Thursday, June 23:

Batten down the hatches, because Hurricane Sami is about to blow back into town. Then again, maybe things will be different this time, what with plans in the works for her to finally re-marry Lucas. What could possibly go wrong?

When Leo and Clyde strike up a partnership, we’d refer to it as making a deal with the devil. But we’re not sure which one would be “the devil” in this scenario!

Ciara can’t help but fear that Shawn is getting way too close to Jan for anyone’s comfort!

Friday, June 24:

Even as Sami is getting settled back in, Shawn manages to drive Belle even further into EJ’s arms. (Which, given how close they’ve been lately, we hardly thought possible!)

Leo may no longer be in her dad’s life, but that doesn’t mean Chloe’s feeling warm and fuzzy toward her almost step-daddy. In fact, things are downright tense when he, Chloe and Brady cross paths.

Sami can’t help but wonder exactly what’s going on with Lucas, who is acting might suspicious. Will she figure out the truth about what he’s been hiding?

Well, it appears they’re now selling frozen treats in Hades. Why? Because Victor and Bonnie actually find themselves standing on common ground!

Week of June 27:

Monday, June 27:

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for as Sami walks in at exactly the wrong moment (or right, depending on your point of view) and finds Belle and EJ sharing a steamy moment.

Tuesday, June 28:

Everything is about to change for Ben and Ciara thanks to a special gift they receive from her mom, Hope.

Wednesday, June 29:

Brady and Chloe walk in to see… wait, this can’t be right, can it? Shawn is kissing… Jan? And without her having received any help from the devil? What the H-E-Double-Hockey Sticks is going on here?!?

Thursday, June 30:

If Melinda thinks she can pull a fast one on Abe and Paulina, she might want to think again. Why? Because the two of them are having absolutely none of it!

Friday, July 1:

What Julie finds out from Eli today will absolutely shock her. But what will she do next?

Proving yet again that things aren’t completely right with Sarah, she winds up pulling a knife on Chanel!

Given the recent tragedy involving Abigail...
