With Bold and the Beautiful You Get Conflict And Even More Conflict

The Bold and the Beautiful has opted to focus on one major storyline in the show’s past. Take, for example, the baby Beth kidnapping storyline. The action, drama, and suspense focused primarily on this lone tale. Now, B&B’s taking a different approach — and we’re loving it.

The Bold and the Beautiful All About Beth

The baby Beth storyline was a success both in ratings and critical acclaim as the show shot up in the numbers and also won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team. There’s no denying that the baby Beth tale was a hit. Now, however, the show has multiple stories going on.

For starters, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is back with his own tale as a custody battle between the Forrester heir and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), Douglas’s (Django Ferri) adoptive mother, is brewing. That’s not the only family drama headed for court as Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) are getting a divorce. That split could have big repercussions for the Forrester Creations empire.

The Best of the Best

Let’s not forget, the ongoing story of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). It appeared as if the duo were all set to reunite when Ridge agreed to move back in with Brooke. But a not-so-simple selfie with Brooke, Hope, and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) contributed to Ridge kissing Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) in Monte Carlo. The love triangle that carried B&B for years is still going on.

Into the Bold and the Beautiful Woods

Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) have been reunited in a way that only torn-apart soap opera lovers can be. And the best news, in terms of the actors having story, is that the happy couple isn’t out of the woods yet. There’s definite tension between Steffy and her mother-in-law Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). If Li lied about Finn being alive, what other secrets might she keep from Steffy in order to protect her son? And where does Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) fit in as Li’s new hero?

Speaking of woods, are we to believe that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has truly met a grizzly (pun intended) end after an encounter with a bear in the woods? Would Sheila sacrifice one measly toe in order to get away and live to scheme another day? That’s just one of the storylines that have B&B viewers glued to their sets.
