The actress wasn’t afraid to show her ruthless side in Genoa City.

Soap Hub Performer Of The Week For Y&R: Amelia Heinle

The Young and the Restless viewers know that Victoria Newman will do whatever it takes to succeed in business while also being a fierce mother to her children. For her performance, Soap Hub Performer of the Week honors for Y&R is presented to Victoria’s portrayer, Amelia Heinle.

Ameila Heinle– Y&R Performer of the Week

This week, Victoria had a wide range of scenes. Heinle showed off Victoria’s mother bear moments when she and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) told Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was his birth mother. Her agitated tone of voice, tense body language, and pained facial expressions showed how conflicted Victoria felt in telling her son this momentous news.

Then, after it didn’t go well, Amelia Heinle really dug into Victoria’s anger. She slammed down Victoria’s bag and stomped around her office at Newman Enterprises when Victoria yelled at Billy over allowing Chelsea to talk them into telling Johnny the truth.

Then, just when it seemed like Victoria might be entirely focused on her child, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) came along to remind her that she’s also a businesswoman. When Victoria spoke with Nate at Society, Heinle showed off her ruthless business side with the light in her eyes and obvious excitement in her voice when she spoke to him about how valid the business side of life was for society. Her tone of voice and assured body language also portrayed Victoria’s absolute belief in what she was saying.

Also, Victoria really took charge, and Amelia Heinle showed how much like her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), she is. When they talked with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victoria’s phrasing and mannerisms mirrored the great Victor Newman’s. The spot-on portrayal is a testament to Heinle’s talent. Bravo on an excellent performance this week!
