The Young and the Restless
Everybody wants the truth and Nick wants it from Sally, in particular regarding her status with Adam. Jill wants it from the Chancellor-Winters gang, who have a whole lot of explaining to do. And Jack and Nikki want it from Tucker, who if you ask us is about as likely to give it them as he is to launch into a rousing rendition of his mom’s theme “I’m Gonna Live Till I Die.” And if you want the truth, keep reading...
Friday, October 14:
Adam blows it with Sally, Jack warns a defiant Ashley, and Elena leaves Nate for good!
Perhaps fearing that his sister won’t be smart enough to keep her ex at bay, Jack gives Ashley the third degree. Given how much is at stake, he might want to go as far as the fourth degree. Is there a fourth degree?
We suspect that this will go about as well as us asking for free rent. But nonetheless, Nate asks Elena for a second chance.
We doubt that Nick will settle for “it’s complicated” as an answer when he questions Sally’s feelings for Adam. Is “Nally” about to reach a deal-breaker this early in their fledgling romance?
Week of October 17:
Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: Sally has a target on her back, Tucker’s true agenda, Elena’s departure and much more!
Monday, October 17:
Why bother asking a liar about a liar? We can’t think of a reason, but Jack seems to believe that there’s some point to doing so as he interrogates Tucker about his past with Diane.
When Sally makes a decision about Adam, we have a feeling that it’s going to involve cuing up Scandal’s “Goodbye to You.”
Just as Sally is reaching a crossroads with Adam, Sharon is giving Nick unsolicited advice. Coincidence? Doubtful. Anticipate Sharon putting on her therapist hat and counseling her ex that he’s really just getting involved with another Phyllis.
Tuesday, October 18:
Just like in life, in business, you have to be ready to change things up at a moment’s notice. On the heels of Nate’s confession to Lily and Devon, it’s not all that shocking that he and Victoria have to adjust their game plan.
If Summer gives Sally a warning, it can only run along the lines of, “You break my dad’s heart, I break your face.”
Though Devon and Lily do damage control at Chancellor-Winters, we have to wonder whether the damage that Nate has done is too great to be controlled.
Wednesday, October 19:
Jill returns home to chaos. Of course she does. Because it’s never fresh-cut flowers and scones hot out of the oven, is it?
Yes! Grownups acting like grownups! Love this: Adam and Chelsea put their differences aside to help Connor.
Didn’t he get enough of confronting women about their feelings for Adam when he was married to Sharon? Guess not since Nick confronts Sally about her feelings for his half brother.
Thursday, October 20:
When Nikki and Phyllis encourage Ashley to manipulate Tucker, somebody’s gonna get hurt — and we suspect that it isn’t going to be Diane.
They couldn’t have turned to a more levelheaded person: Mariah and Tessa seek counsel from Christine.
Yes, yes, it’s all very clever of Diane to cover her tracks with Jack. But if she was really clever, wouldn’t she not have left any tracks to begin with?
Friday, October 21:
Nikki puts Tucker in the hot seat, which must mean that at some point since his return to Genoa City, he at least briefly got out of it. We were starting to think the hot seat was the only place we’d ever see him!
Knowing that Phyllis shares a secret with Lauren only makes us all the more eager to know what it is ourselves.
After refereeing between their mothers and now dealing with Nick’s involvement with their former tormentor Sally, Kyle and Summer deserve a break — and they get one, too, when they take off to enjoy a romantic getaway.

The Bold and the Beautiful
Brooke’s fan club devolves into a debate club, Carter seeks answers that, even if he gets, he may not like, and Katie takes steps toward what we suspect we’ll be calling “Karter.”
Friday, October 14:
Bill consoles Brooke after asking Katie to reunite, and Ridge and Taylor make love.
Apparently, the dust is beginning to settle, because Ridge is able to give an important update to Steffy and Thomas about his relationships with their mom and Brooke.
When Bill asks Katie to look to their future, Katie gets honest with her on-again/off-again husband. Please let her response be, “Our future? What makes you think we even have one?”
Week of October 17
Monday, October 17:
Here… we… go. Carter confesses the truth about Quinn to Katie. But will it be the dire truth we predicted?
Whatever Carter says to Katie, it prompts her to make an unexpected move — perhaps by pointing her lips at his and beginning a new romance?
Mystery surrounds the return of a Bold & Beautiful troublemaker — and we have a couple of theories as to why he’s back, do you?
Tuesday, October 18:
When Katie and Carter share a flirty exchange, can it be leading anywhere but to a new romance? Please, may they at least hurt each other less than Bill and Quinn did!
Wednesday, October 19:
Steffy and Thomas make a big announcement. Perhaps since they consider their efforts to reunite their parents to be such a rip-roaring success, they’re going to give up the fashion biz and open their own matchmaking service?
A lot of people have strong feelings about whether chili has or doesn’t have beans. So we suppose it can come as little surprise that things get, shall we say, heated between Bill and Deacon. On second thought, ya know what? They might be arguing about Brooke, not chili. Yeah, that makes more sense.
Thursday, October 20:
Unable to just let Quinn walk out of his life and never know why, Carter turns to Shauna for answers. Will his ex’s BFF be able to give him the closure that he so desperately needs?
The whopper of a frame job that Thomas pulled didn’t just torpedo Brooke’s marriage. It also did irreparable damage to another character.
Friday, October 21:
Why anyone would trust him farther than they could throw him, we can’t imagine. Nonetheless, Justin manages to work a deal at Forrester Creations.
Bless her heart, Katie likes to be direct, and today is no exception. She makes her intentions toward Carter clearer than the glassware at Il Giardino.
