Those horrible hoaxers who go around impersonating our favorite soap stars are once again ruining it for us all, so we can’t have nice things like Days of our Lives icon Peter Reckell having a presence on Facebook. But wife Kelly Moneymaker thinks there is something you can do to help make it happen.
Kelly Moneymaker Needs You To Help Peter Reckell
His lovely wife took to her Twitter account to alert Reckell’s legion of fans to the current situation he is having with the social media giant. “Hi, Lovelies,” she began. “We have a skilled Peter Reckell impersonator taking advantage of people and stealing our intellectual property & personal photos/videos. Please report this FB imposter, so @peterreckell can post an OFFICIAL one. Thanks & Love to All! XXX”
This is the Facebook account that is pretending to be the star. Under the big blue “send message” button, you’ll see three dots next to the magnifying glass search icon — if you click it, the “Report Page” option is shown at the bottom. From there, you can report the imposter.
Many fans responded to her, sharing their frustration about reporting the hoaxer with nothing happening, which led to Moneymaker revealing her equal frustration at not getting the social media platform to budge. “It’s madness!!! I gave them ALL of Peter’s IDs, and they’ve still blocked us! #Facebook #imposters”
Perhaps if they receive pressure with many more people reporting, Peter Reckell can finally claim his rightful place on Facebook — and we fans would certainly be the ones to benefit from that!
