Soap Spoilers: August 30-September 3/September 6-10, 2021

The Young and the Restless

Devon and Amanda play the truth half of Truth of Dare, Victor sets his sights on a familiar target, Billy lands in the hot seat anew, and the cold war between Phyllis and Sally gets even frostier.

Friday, August 27:

Abby and Devon deliver Baby Chancellor after Stitch breaks down and confesses!

Oh… this can’t be good, can it? Abby takes matters into her own hands — which leaves us to wonder if this plot twist will, in fact, make “matters” a whole lot worse! Stand down, Abby! Stand down!

When Devon makes a shocking discovery, we have fingers and toes crossed that it involves finding Poor Pregnant Mariah, who has been holed up in that room talking to Bowie for what feels like weeks now! Give a girl a break!

Week of August 30:

Y&R Restless Rant! Mariah’s kidnapping made not a *Stitch* of sense and the labor and delivery was (perhaps unintentionally) hilarious! Plus, Ashland’s sugar mama may be on canvas, and Sally is agitating again…

Nick confronts Phyllis about her feelings about Jack!

Monday, August 30:

Dear ol’ Dad! We have no idea why Abby didn’t turn to Victor for help when Mariah first went missing, but now that things have come to a head, rest assured, he’s there to help his and Ashley’s daughter through The Case of the Missing Surrogate.

If we were her, we’d long to reunite with some of our other clothes. But as Mariah’s captivity continues, the one-outfit-wonder instead longs to reunite with true love Tessa.

When Nick surprises Phyllis with some tough questions, we have to wonder whether Sally successfully planted the seeds of doubt she was trying to sow when she mentioned her nemesis spending a lot of her time lately with ex-husband Jack.

Tuesday, August 31:

We can’t blame Victor for being skeptical of Billy’s intentions — especially if, as we suspect, the “intentions” in question have to do with Victoria and Ashland’s impending nuptials. The question is, will The Mustache let Billy Boy Abbott carry on, or will he put a stop to his shenanigans?

When Elena considers a new professional opportunity, perhaps she’ll be entertaining the idea of becoming the new face of Ask MD Now at Lily’s request. And a beautiful face it is at that! It could be a good move for Elena personally as well, given that the doc’s boyfriend, Nate, is now her superior at Memorial. Perhaps that’s part of the reason he suggested Lily hire her as his replacement?

It’s not the first time these two have squared off, and it probably won’t be the last! We have to wonder at the circumstances this time around, however, when Lily finds herself in a standoff with Victoria. Admittedly, we’re thinking, “What has Billy done now?”

Wednesday, September 1:

No one can say that Adam doesn’t know how to make an entrance! But who’s the surprise guest that he brings to the Newman Media party? And could she be the next woman added to our photo gallery of the Newman heir’s loves?

When Nick is forced to defend himself to Victoria, will she have found out that her favorite brother was the one who pushed Victor to dig into Ashland’s past? More importantly, will she accept his explanation and forgive him? We hate it when these sibs are on the outs!

Nothing new to see here! Victor prepares for battle with Billy, but will the competition be personal or professional? Oh, who are we kidding — it’s always personal between these two, even when it’s also professional!

Thursday, September 2:

Where Billy’s concerned, this could mean anything. When he’s caught in a compromising position, does it mean that Victor’s already gotten the better of him? He wouldn’t stray from Lily… would he?

Ooo, this sounds intriguing. When Amanda and Devon trade secrets, we have to wonder if they’ll get so candid that their revelations will put their newfound love to the test.

When Phyllis’ feud with Sally takes a chilling turn, we have to wonder just how worried we should be about the redhead. After all, once upon a time, Summer’s mom wasn’t above trying to send nemeses like Christine to the morgue!

Friday, September 3:

There were times — and lots of ’em — when we thought that a day like this would never come, for on it, Victor and Adam share their plans for Newman Media’s future. Which for these two counts as extreme father/son bonding.

When Mariah is haunted by her past, it probably means the poor thing will be having flashbacks to being locked up in that horrid room with only Bowie to talk to and pregnancy protein bars to gnaw on. How will the beleaguered surrogate get past the ordeal to reclaim her life?

The Bold and the Beautiful

Prepare for your heart to break for the devastated and lonely Carter, who has been left with nothing but memories after Quinn’s departure, and be afraid — very afraid — as threats are made and lines drawn in the sand ahead of what could be an epic showdown between Steffy and Sheila!

Friday, August 27:

Steffy is left in an absolute fury after slapping Sheila and blasting Finn. Plus, Hope and Liam enjoy sexy time.

Kaboom! Steffy puts Finn on blast for betraying her trust — and only what, days after he promised to love, honor and cherish her? What part of, “Honey, your mother has tried to murder half my family at one time or another!” does he not understand?

Short of undergoing enough plastic surgery to turn herself into someone altogether different — which she’s been known to do — we can’t imagine how Sheila thinks she’s going to be able to maneuver her way out of her current mess with Steffy. But she does indeed think she’s going to, and takes steps to make it happen. Wonder if she’ll be falling back on her old playbook, colorfully illustrated by this photo gallery of her past misdeeds.

Week of August 30:

Monday, August 30:

We hope Jack is made of tough stuff, because it’s not looking good for Finn’s dad when Sheila doubles down on her blackmail while threatening him. What will the mustachioed family man’s response be when the she-devil turns up the heat?

Wow, this might be a record — even for a soap opera! When Steffy asks Finn to leave after his betrayal with Sheila, it’s a case of the honeymoon being over… just after the honeymoon. And though we hate to say “I told ya so”… well, in this case, we literally did.

Tuesday, August 31:

Color us not at all surprised, as Paris, who clearly has a huge crush on her “roommate” (or former roommate, given that Finn just got kicked out), lends an understanding ear as the confused doctor sorts through his feelings.

Things go from bad to worse for Finn when he falls out of favor with his father-in-law and former fan, Ridge. Watch for the dressmaker to become absolutely furious upon learning that Steffy’s new husband allowed Sheila to take Hayes in her clutches.

Wednesday, September 1:

It sounds like Finn will get an up-close-and-personal glimpse of that strength he admires so much in Steffy when she delivers a devastating blow to her new hubby regarding their marriage. We have to wonder: Will she be delivering an ultimatum concerning his birth mother… or just walking away?!

We knew they couldn’t stay away from each other, and we’re not going to lie — we’re not upset about it, either. When Carter makes an admission to Quinn, will he let her know that he can’t move on without her? And if so, will she confess that she feels the same way — especially considering what Eric’s going through?

Thursday, September 2:

We know he slept with the boss’ wife, but we can’t help but feel awful for poor Carter. Knowing that it’s over between himself and Quinn, the Forrester’s favorite attorney remembers moments of passion with his lover.

When Paris declares to Finn that she stands firmly on his side, it kinda makes us wonder if she’s thought this through. Aligning herself with the co-CEO’s estranged husband and possibly Sheila Carter just might get Paris thrown out of the cliff house and the Forrester Foundation! It’s almost like she’s working to make our prediction come true that she would become Steffy’s worst nightmare.

Friday, September 3:

In light of the revelations about his current struggles in the bedroom, it’s not surprising that Eric wants Brooke and Ridge to stay the heck out of his personal life. But when he demands they butt out, will they respect his wishes? If we know Brooke, and we do know Brooke, being rebuffed will only cause her to redouble her efforts. Meanwhile, could the soap be getting ready to tell a truly adult story that will get tongues wagging?

Red alert! Sheila’s anger and frustration at Steffy rises in intensity — which means we could be headed for a very dangerous, and even deadly, clash that could lead to the Forrester family reliving a familiar nightmare all over again! Wanna know how bad it could get? The prediction that Sheila’s reign of terror can only end one way — in murder!

General Hospital

As Jason and Carly’s wedding date approaches, “Mike” and Nina take things to the next level. Plus, Sam’s search continues, Jax seeks answers, and an enemy everyone thought long gone might soon be resurfacing…

Week of August 23:

Monday, August 23:

As Nina panics over Maxie’s visit to Nixon Falls, Peter resurfaces. Plus, Brook Lynn confronts Chase about Austin, and Laura and Martin must go into hiding.

With Brook Lynn questioning Chase’s motives, could this be the next step in what we predict (and hope!) might be a great love story for these two?

As the truth about Drew continues to unfold, Sam hopes that Anna might be able to lend a helping hand.

Ned’s skills as a negotiator are about to be tested as he attempts to strike a bargain with Austin.

Tuesday, August 24:

Peter finds Sonny with Nina, while Michael, Willow and Chase reveal all their secrets. Plus, Drew forms an alliance with the real nurse Chloe in captivity.

Carly’s a nervous wreck, but if anyone can get her to take a few deep breaths, it’s Jason.

You know what Britt and Terry don’t need? Elizabeth accidentally ramping up the tensions between them!

With the past determined to make a comeback, Sam finds herself contemplating what the future might hold.

As Tristan Rogers shares news about his status, he encourages fans to “all be positive.”

Jacob Young (ex-Lucky) shares poignant All My Children memories of his ‘hero,’ the late, great David Canary: “I think he thought, what’s with this kid?”

Wednesday, August 25:

Michael gives Austin the evidence he needs, Chase and Willow end things, and Peter blackmails Nina.

Jax and Carly don’t agree on much these days, but they do each recognize that it’s in their best interests to play nice for the sake of their daughter, Joss.

Maxie’s struggled since handing her baby over to Brook Lynn, as would any mother. Things become more difficult when she crosses paths with Valentin and “his” daughter, Bailey.

As Peter begins his reign of terror anew, portrayer Wes Ramsey laughs, ‘let the games begin’ — plus, the too-cute way he drew a line between his on- and off-screen selves!

Thursday, August 26:

Nina calls Liesl for help after Peter threatens “Mike” and Phyllis, Chase confides in Finn, and Willow sides with BLQ over Michael.

Maxie clearly needs a distraction, and what better way to keep herself occupied than by planning Carly and Jason’s wedding? With that in mind, she tracks down the bride so they can get to work!

Meanwhile, Jason sits down for a chat with future stepdaughter Joss about the increasingly-obvious tension between her parents.

Pop the champagne, because Britt and Obrecht are celebrating!

Finn’s had a pretty rough go of it, so he’ll no doubt appreciate the wonderful surprise he receives today.

Beloved All My Children star, Michael Nader (Dimitri Marick) dead at 76: ‘He was a beautiful and fascinating man.’

Friday, August 27:

Carly and Jason lean in for a kiss, Esme takes an interest in Ryan, and Obrecht plans a trap for Peter.

Is Austin developing an interest in Maxie? Scott certainly seems to think that’s the case!

Cameron Mathison (Drew) shares a gorgeous family portrait that reveals how he got ‘the only present I need’ for his birthday.

Week of August 30:

GH Opinion: Dishing Peter’s return, the end of Nina and “Mike,” and who the mystery prisoner could be.

Monday, August 30:

When it comes to tying up loose ends, Nina knows there’s nobody better than her Aunt Liesl. Working together, will they be able to accomplish their goal?

When Anna provides Dante with everything she knows about Drew’s plane crash, will that help him track down Sam’s ex?

Something wicked this way comes… and according to Jordan, it’s being plotted by Cyrus. When she tips off Jason, will he be able to ward off whatever the pony-tailed villain has planned?

Gladys is not an easy lady to please. How will Lucy and Sasha deal with the list of demands from Brando’s mom?

Brook Lynn arranges for Maxie to spend a little time with her baby.

Tuesday, August 31:

Could Cyrus have formed a partnership with one of the Five Families? That’s the theory Carly’s working from.

Josslyn gets a little help from Trina in cooking up a surprise for her dad.

Nina and “Mike” have been circling one another for ages, but they are finally ready to go on their first official date.

Jordan and Shawn team up to search for the truth about Hayden’s shooter.

Finn and Elizabeth find themselves getting closer thanks to their camping trip. Guess sleeping bags will do that!

Wednesday, September 1:

It takes a lot to rattle Britt, but that’s exactly how she feels after finding out that Obrecht has gone missing.

We’ll say this for Gladys: She’s one resourceful lady. Today, she figures out exactly how to manipulate a situation to her advantage. Meanwhile, Carly hopes that Brando — despite making it clear he doesn’t want to be involved in Mob life — will be able to lend a helping hand.

Things definitely heat up between “Mike” and Nina… which is going to please some fans and tick off others, as with any good soap plot!

Jax has been extremely worried about Joss of late, but today they enjoy some father/daughter time over a very special dinner she prepared.

Thursday, September 2:

Jordan and Anna put their heads together with regards to a mystery case. (Might this mean a return to the park bench on which they used to hold their “secret” meetings?)

Which of General Hospital’s patients has Britt concerned?

Ava and Trina have grown quite close over the past year or so. When they have an emotional conversation, who’ll be leaning on whom?

Jax seeks advice from Alexis. But will she tell him what he wants to hear?

Spencer and Nikolas have struggled of late, especially since the misguided dad made a move which put him in the running for Worst Father Ever. Will their encounter today help heal those wounds or only rub salt in them?

Friday, September 3:

When Jax has questions about Nina’s love life, he turns to Ava for answers.

Sam catches Curtis up on what she’s discovered as her search for answers continues.

A girl’s best friend really is her mother, as Carly discovers when Bobbie is there to lend her support.

Who or what is going to catch Sasha by surprise?

When Jason’s bachelor party is interrupted, will it have an impact on his quickly-approaching wedding to Carly?

Days of Our Lives

Ciara finds that she and Ben aren’t necessarily on the same page, Gwen hopes confession might be good for the soul, and things aren’t looking good for one of Salem’s most beloved citizens.

Week of August 30:

Days Opinion: Anticipating Brady twins as romantic rivals, Xwen fun, and Lucas stepping into DiMera drama.

Monday, August 30:

Abigail’s been gone for quite a while now, and Chad may finally be facing up to the fact that his marriage is over. When he shares this fear with his father-in-law, will Jack have any words of wisdom to offer?

Allie was all set to meet Chanel’s new guy… but boy, was she not prepared to find out it’s her twin brother!

Just how far will Xander go when he decides to play hardball with EJ?

Bonnie is ready to start a new life, but Calista — her former sister-in-law — could make that very difficult. Will the newcomer really expose Bonnie’s secrets?

Tuesday, August 31:

When Philip is in crisis, Belle is there to try and talk him down off the ledge. (Metaphorically, we’re going to assume… but this being Philip, one never knows!)

Allie takes news of Johnny and Chanel’s relationship beautifully. Oh, come on, who are we kidding? This is a soap… of course she doesn’t! But how will she explain her over-the-top reaction?

Chloe and Brady are forced into a situation that puts them too close for comfort. Something tells us the exes will make the best of it!

Wednesday, September 1:

When Paulina offers Chanel a little bit of advice regarding her personal life, will her daughter listen? Meanwhile, Nicole thinks she knows exactly what’s going on with Allie. But is Henry’s mom ready to face the truth about her jealousy?

Things go from bad to worse for poor Philip when he walks in on his nightmare scenario: Chloe and Brady in bed together!

Ava makes an announcement that is definitely going to take Rafe by surprise!

Thursday, September 2:

Can you keep a secret? John certainly can, which is why he’s recruited for a hush-hush mission. (Wonder if this has to do with the stolen jewels which will play a very big role in Beyond Salem, the Days spinoff which launches on Monday, September 6.

Sometimes, even the simplest of things can go terribly wrong. Think we’re exaggerating? Then join Paulina, Lani, Eli and Abe for breakfast and watch what happens!

Roman gets a bit of bad news when Anna informs him that the marriage of their daughter, Carrie, has hit a rough patch.

Things get tense when Chad crosses paths with Gabi and Jake.

Friday, September 3:

Now that they’re once again man and wife, it’s time for Ben and Ciara to do what comes naturally. No, not that silly… go on a honeymoon! Where we presume they’ll also do that first thing that came to your mind!

Calista is perfectly happy to keep Bonnie’s secrets… for a price. The question is whether Bonnie is willing to break the law in order to prevent her past from coming to light!

Jack has known for a while now that daughter Gwen is… let’s say drawn to trouble like moths to a flame. What will he say when she comes clean to him about her latest mess?

Week of September 6:

Monday, September 6:

Having been married a hot minute, Ciara decides it’s time she and Ben have a baby. (To be fair, they do have some lost time to make up for!) But why, exactly, does he seem hesitant to do so?

Tuesday, September 7:

Is Roman right to be concerned about Doug’s mental state?

Wednesday, September 8:

When Justin makes a shocking discovery, will it be about the past Bonnie’s worked so hard to try and keep from coming to light?

Thursday, September 9:

Since arriving in Salem, Paulina’s found herself in hot water more than once… and somehow managed to avoid major consequences. But will her lucky streak continue when she once again finds herself in trouble?

Friday, September 10:

Jack knows that Gwen isn’t exactly a saint. But if she goes through with her plan to confess her latest sins, how will he react?

Even as it becomes increasingly evident that something’s wrong with Doug, Julie refuses to see what’s going on with her beloved spouse.

DAYS Spoilers Photos: A Buried Secret and Future Plans

DAYS spoilers photos for Friday, August 27, 2021, are here! Catch a glimpse of your favorite Salemites stirring up drama.

Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) plans for a happily-ever-after get derailed when Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) shows up. It doesn’t look like Bonnie’s old sister-in-law is there to wish her a happy life. Rumor has it she carries a secret about Bonnie’s past sure to haunt her.

Speaking of living the dream, Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) is coming along nicely. Her bakery is moving forward, her friendships are on track, and her flirty romance with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is a lot of fun. Will things take a turn on DAYS spoilers when she introduces her beau to Allie Horton? When will that happen?!

Allie (Lindsay Arnold) goes from spending a nice day with Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) at the hospital to learning this tidbit. Talk about a shocker! Her brother is dating her crush and that certainly will not end well.

Johnny has bigger things to think about than his sister’s reaction. He has big plans for his future but he needs some financial backing first. Will he find a friend in uncle Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis)? It looks like Tony and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) are open to a discussion.

How Days of our Lives Has Mishandled Allie’s Character From Day One

Days of our Lives fans were excited when they heard Alice Caroline Horton was coming to Salem, all SORASed. We remembered what happened when Allie’s mama, Sami Brady DiMera went from 10 to teen – and proceeded to drive story for decades with her scheming, her scowling, and her scrunchie. We expected the same for Allie.

First Impressions on Days of our Lives

It was disappointing when Allie (Lindsay Arnold) first showed up pregnant – that seemed to limit her romantic options. But we held out hope that there was a really juicy story behind it, and behind why she was keeping the father such a secret. Except that after weeks of crying and stomping her feet telling Sami (Alison Sweeney) she wanted to give her baby up to Uncle Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), the first major act that Allie took up was…accusing Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) of rape.

Tripp denied it, but Allie insisted. And, in the #MeToo era, all of Salem rallied behind her. Except that the audience knew weeks before Allie did, that Tripp wasn’t the culprit – his brother, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) was. Which meant that for literally months we were being asked to sympathize with a girl we knew was about to ruin an innocent young man’s life. An innocent young man who we’d known longer than Allie. This was a huge misstep in getting the audience to understand Allie on Days of our Lives.

DOOL: Phase Two

Now that her little hiccup has been cleared up, Allie and Tripp are actually dating. But she can’t say “I love you” to him. Because she’s not sure about her feelings for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). We realize that triangles are soap’s bread and butter, but they only work when we care about at least two if not all three of the characters.

Right now, we’ve still got the ick factor of Allie and Tripp’s past on Days of our Lives while, on the other side, we have her constantly saying she’s not interested in Chanel. So it’s kind of hard to care about them. Allie is in denial about one person and/or leading on another. It doesn’t matter which is which, it doesn’t make her look good. Or to care what happens to a character who clearly isn’t even interested enough in it herself to make any kind of decision. We expected so much more from Sami’s daughter.

Days of our Lives Favorite Kyle Lowder Celebrates His Birthday

Life has never been easy to Days of our Lives Rex Brady, though he normally brings most of the pain upon himself. Luckily it’s not all doom and gloom for actor Kyle Lowder, who has a major milestone in need of celebrating.

Happy Birthday, Kyle Lowder

And that’s because he was born on August 27, 1980, in St. Louis, Missouri, which means that this fan-favorite is turning 41 years old today! Lowder’s acting career was jump-started in August 2000 when he was tapped to take over the role of legacy character Brady Black on Days of our Lives.

He remained in the part until 2005 and subsequently appeared in the comedy series Cuts, as well as the CBS daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful. In the latter, he played yet another pivotal part: Forrester scion Eric Forrester Jr. — AKA Rick Forrester.

His B&B debut aired on January 24, 2007, and his exit occurred in January of 2011. Lowder’s other acting credits include the web serial DeVanity, a guest appearance in an episode of Friends, and roles in a number of films, including Wedding Day, Nation’s Fire, Misfits, The Ravine, and The Amityville Harvest.

Lowder also starred in – and executive produced – the Amazon Original series Ladies of the Lake, which aired for two seasons. In 2018, the actor returned to his old stomping ground at DAYS, but this time he assumed the part of Rex Brady – a role previously played by Eric Winter. He has been back a couple of times, as needed.

Lowder was previously married to Arianne Zucker (Nicole) – his DAYS co-star – with whom he has a daughter, Isabella Reese (born December 2009).

Soap Hub would like to wish Kyle Lowder a very happy birthday and many more.

DAYS Spoilers For August 30: It’s The Dinner Dates From Hell

The DAYS spoilers for Monday, August 30, 2021, tease a good deed resulting in serious punishment, judgment day for a beloved ruffian, and so much more. You won’t want to miss this episode.

DAYS Spoilers Highlight

Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) – he’s beautiful and well-meaning, but he’s also – frequently – the cause of much consternation. His latest faux pas? Surreptitiously arranging a double date between himself and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and her new beau “Giovanni.”

Color everyone shocked to learn that “Giovanni” is none other than Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) – Allie’s twin brother. #Awkward. The foursome attempt to salvage the night, but it becomes apparent – really rather quickly – that the night is a total bust. Guess Johnny shouldn’t have broached the subject of Chanel and Allie’s smooch, huh?

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Fare The Well Xander…Maybe

Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) issues what may very well be her final goodbye to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) – who you may remember is charged with participating in Dr. Clay Snyder’s dope ring – but he’s not giving up without a fight.

Lest you forget, Xander’s got EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) on his side – and EJ will certainly relish the chance to go up against a formidable opponent like District Attorney Melinda Trask (Tina Huang)…though spoilers warn that the two men will do battle all their own, probably over the exorbitant fee that EJ insisted upon.

DOOL Spoilers: Confidentially Speaking

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is in a sorry state. He desperately misses his wife, but he’s not sure that she’ll ever return to him – and who can blame her? Look for Chad to take father-in-law Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) into his confidence, and explain that he’s pretty sure his and Abby’s (Marci Miller) marriage is over.

DAYS Spoilers: Third-Party Interference

Calista Lockhart (Cady Hoffman) has got some juicy dirt on sister-in-law Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans), and she threatens to spill the beans if her demands aren’t met. But what could she possibly want? Money…we’re gonna bet on money.

Soap Spoilers: August 23-27-August 30-September 3, 2021

The Young and the Restless

Nikki and Victor end up on the outs, Sally’s back to doing what she does best — not designing, scheming! — and the drama surrounding Mariah’s mysterious disappearance dials up another notch when there’s a break in the case that leaves Sharon hungry for justice on her daughter’s behalf.

Friday, August 20:

Adam reaches out to an emotional Sharon, Tessa feels Mariah’s pain, and Chloe confronts Sally and Adam!

Well, the answer the burning question in solving The Case of the Missing Mariah takes her increasingly desperate loved ones to the Newman ranch, where Victor agrees to use his resources to help find the surrogate. Couldn’t/Shouldn’t Abby have gotten him involved ages ago?

Meanwhile, it looks like Devon is making his own moves to find Mariah when he asks Denise Tolliver for a favor. He could be reaching out to her for an entirely unrelated matter, but our money’s on him wanting to track down the woman who’s carrying his biological child.

Another day, another cautionary tale. When Kevin and Chloe give Sally a warning, will they be concerned that she’s putting a target on the fashion start-up by provoking Phyllis… or advising her to watch her step with someone else — perhaps Adam?!

Week of August 23:

Coming up this week on Young & Restless: Things take a terrifying turn for Mariah, Victor unearths dirt on Ashland, Sally plots and Lily gets that old familiar feeling!

Monday, August 23:

It’s mogul vs. mogul when Victor settles unfinished business with Ashland Locke. Given that their last interaction had The Mustache accusing his daughter’s fiancé of faking a terminal illness in order to gain control of his company, things can only get better. Right?!

When Nikki strikes a nerve with Victoria, will they be discussing the CEO’s upcoming wedding? Might the always intuitive and infinitely experienced mama bear hit too close to home regarding Ashland’s hidden agenda?

It’s not the first time, and it certainly isn’t likely to be the last, when Lily discovers that Billy has been keeping a secret from her. Something tells us it will have to do with Victoria. Doesn’t it always?

Tuesday, August 24:

Having moved on from interrogating perhaps the least likely suspect in Mariah’s disappearance — Adam — Rey uncovers a clue regarding his captive stepdaughter’s whereabouts.

Words of wisdom! When Devon and Nate point Moses in the right direction, here’s hoping it involves a how-to course in dealing with daughters with deadly dads… because Nick’s kinda scary when he’s in protective-pop mode.

The “heart” returns to Genoa City, when Traci turns up and shares a new project with Jack. Please, can that project be finding love interests for them both? Traci’s heart is too big not to have someone special in it, and Jack’s been flying solo for way too long.

Wednesday, August 25:

We have to wonder if Ashland and Victoria’s planned nuptials will be the topic of discussion when Victor and Nikki share a difference of opinion. Will the lady of the manor manage to make her stubborn hubby see her point of view?

It’s bound to throw fuel on the vengeful fire when Sally spies on Jack and Phyllis, the woman she blames for making her life miserable from the moment she set foot in Genoa City. But how can Sally possibly strike back?

Are we about to learn the identity of Mariah’s kidnapper at long last when her situation takes an unexpected turn?

Thursday, August 26:

What mystery can’t these two great minds solve? And what insights will be triggered when Devon shares his suspicions with his former mentor, Victor?

When Sharon decides that she wants justice for Mariah, will she turn to her detective husband Rey, or will she seek help from ex-husband Adam, who knows how to get things done in, ahem, other ways?

It sounds like there will be a break in the Mariah case when cop shop co-workers Rey and Kevin connect the dots. If only one beloved crime-fighter wasn’t going to be missing from the investigation.

Friday, August 27:

Oh… this can’t be good, can it? Abby takes matters into her own hands — which leaves us to wonder if this plot twist will, in fact, make “matters” a whole lot worse! Stand down, Abby! Stand down!

When Devon makes a shocking discovery, we have fingers and toes crossed that it involves finding Poor Pregnant Mariah, who has been holed up in that room talking to Bowie for what feels like weeks now! Give a girl a break!

The Bold and the Beautiful

Sheila reveals yet another explosive secret — does she know any other kind?!? — Finn makes the mother of all marital blunders, and Eric knocks Ridge and Brooke right off their high horses. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg...

Friday, August 20:

Jack incurs Sheila’s wrath when he tries to run her out of town, and Eric senses something’s off with Quinn.

Eric, Quinn and Carter start a new chapter. Hmm… After the unforeseen complication that threw a wrench into this situation earlier in the week, we hope this new beginning is a sign that they’ll be able to put the past behind them and move forward without rancor. (Oh, who are we kidding? We love rancor!)

When Jack approaches Sheila with a dire warning, it’s safe to assume that he’ll put her on notice about wreaking havoc in Finn’s life. We’re betting the protective pop will stop at nothing — even tangling with the she-devil — to look out for the son he raised as his own. The question is, will Sheila heed his words… or cackle in his face?

Week of August 23:

Monday, August 23:

No one is better at, ahem, fulfilling their destiny than Ridge and Brooke. But how will they do so today when they get romantic? Trail of rose petals leading to the bed? Champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries? Or just a good old declaration of love? (Hey, you can never say it enough!)

How many sleeves does Sheila have? Because apparently, she has another trick up one; a bombshell secret that she exposes in order to blackmail Jack. Welcome to the hot seat, buddy!

Tuesday, August 24:

If all you have to worry about when you leave the house is whether you’ve left the oven on, consider yourself lucky… Steffy has to worry about psycho Sheila showing up while she’s away on business with Hope. As if Steffy wasn’t losing enough sleep as the mother of a newborn!

Word to the wise, Paris: If you are thinking of chiming in on Steffy’s concerns… erm, don’t. How come? Let’s look at how the audience is responding to your butting in.

Will it be intriguing when Eric shares a long-hidden truth with Quinn, will it be that he kinda-sorta secretly likes her manipulative side? That maybe, just maybe, it even reminds him a little bit of his late wife, Stephanie, who never met a plot she wouldn’t hatch?

Wednesday, August 25:

In what sounds like the equivalent of ending an engagement with the return of the ring, Carter informs Brooke and Ridge that he’s given Eric back his portrait of Quinn. But he’s still holding on to those memories, dang it!

Fans are gonna have another field day with this — especially after what they’ve already been calling Finn. The doc is enraged, and blindsided, by Jack’s proposal regarding Sheila.

Thursday, August 26:

When Ridge and Brooke express outrage about Quinn, Eric claps back. Please, please, please let him remind them of the time they carried on behind his back during his own marriage to Brooke.

Ack! It’s a nightmare come to life! As anyone would, Steffy flips right the hell out when she finds Sheila holding baby Hayes! Finn, ol’ pal, we’re gonna guess the honeymoon is ending in three, two…

Friday, August 27:

But she does indeed think she’s going to, and takes steps to make it happen...

Jax has been displeased with Carly for a while now, but things between them are about to come to a head.

Laura may no longer be Elizabeth’s mother-in-law, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t care for Lucky’s ex-wife. Today, the mayor swings by to check on Liz.

As Genie Francis takes off from General Hospital, she makes a promise to fans…

Tuesday, August 17:

Drew, being held captive in a prison, reaches out to Sam. Plus, Ava’s stalker strikes again!

When Spencer finds himself backed into a corner, will he come out swinging?

Ava finds out that when it comes to the past, you can run, but you can’t hide.

Portia gets to use the bedside manner doctors are famous for when she provides a sympathetic ear to someone.

Rather than deal with Jax herself, Carly decides to let Jason deal with her ex!

Sam is absolutely stunned.

Wednesday, August 18:

Drew attacks his captor, Nikolas faces backlash, Trina supports Spencer, and the five families threaten Carly.

Laura may love her son but that won’t prevent her from being furious with him today. Meanwhile, Spencer is surprised that despite everything, Trina is kind to him when he needs it most.

When Carly needs defending, Jason is there. Meanwhile, Jax finds himself with the most surprising of allies in… wait, can this be right? Obrecht?!?

Sam turns to Curtis for help.

Thursday, August 19:

Spencer’s girlfriend reveals herself, along with what’s she’s been up to. Plus, the GH nurses hit the town, and Carly and Jason set a wedding date

Laura sits her son down for the kind of tough love that only a mother can dish out.

Desperation pushes Ava to make a move. But will a decision made under such circumstances yield the

Friday, August 20:

Maxie shows up at the Tan-O, Brook Lynn discovers Chase’s secret, and Martin fears he and Laura are in trouble.

Even as Carly and Jason set a wedding date, “Mike” determines that he’s going to grab life by the horns and live his life to the fullest.

Chase and Willow share a bittersweet moment.

For a while now, we’ve wondered exactly what’s going on between Anna and Valentin. Are they becoming more than friends? Thankfully, Martin tries to get answers to that very same question!

Feelings are like treasures, and Trina tries hard to keep hers buried. But gal pal Joss knows better than to accept what she sees on the surface!

Week of August 23:

Monday, August 23:

Chase has always been the nicest guy in town… so what does he do that has Brook Lynn questioning his motives? Could this be the next step in what we predict (and hope!) might be a great love story for these two?

As the truth about Drew continues to unfold, Sam hopes that Anna might be able to lend a helping hand.

Ruh-roh… it looks as if someone Nina knows is about to visit Nixon Falls. And let’s face it, if she recognizes the visitor, there’s a good chance that person would also notice that “Mike” bears a striking resemblance to Sonny!

Ned’s skills as a negotiator are about to be tested as he attempts to strike a bargain with Austin.

Just how bad is the alarming news Laura’s about to receive?

Tuesday, August 24:

Willow decides it’s time for her to come clean to Chase. (Of course, he might just already know what she’s feeling compelled to confess!)

Sonny makes an interesting acquaintance. But will they be interesting enough to get added to our photo gallery that recalls highlights of his wild life in Port Charles?

Carly’s a nervous wreck, but if anyone can get her to take a few deep breaths, it’s Jason.

You know what Britt and Terry don’t need? Elizabeth accidentally ramping up the tensions between them!

With the past determined to make a comeback, Sam finds herself contemplating what the future might hold.

Wednesday, August 25:

Nina’s one popular lady this week! Unfortunately, the person who visits today isn’t someone she’s particularly thrilled to see.

When Austin sees Michael in a new light, will that be a good or bad thing? Meanwhile, Willow is ready to face Chase… or so she thinks.

Thursday, August 26:

While “Mike” tends to the needs of a still-grieving Phyllis, Nina realizes that her back is against the wall. How will she get out of this one?

Maxie clearly needs a distraction, and what better way to keep herself occupied than by planning Carly and Jason’s wedding? With that in mind, she tracks down the bride so they can get to work! Meanwhile, Jason sits down for a chat with future stepdaughter Joss about the increasingly-obvious tension between her parents.

Pop the champagne, because Britt and Obrecht are celebrating!

Finn’s had a pretty rough go of it, so he’ll no doubt appreciate the wonderful surprise he receives today.

Friday, August 27:

When Nina is in need of help, who’s she gonna call? (We’re betting it won’t be the Ghostbusters, although Mike is technically one of the living dead… )

Nikolas — whom the internet recently dubbed Worst Father of the Year for his antics — is about to have his hopes crushed by Ava’s decision. Meanwhile, Spencer heads to Spring Ridge in order to visit his aunt, Alexis.

Carly can’t tamp down old feelings that are on the rise.

Is Austin developing an interest in Maxie? Scott certainly seems to think that’s the case!

Days of Our Lives

Ben and Ciara begin their honeymoon, Bonnie’s life is turned upside down, and John receives word of a hush-hush mission as events are set in motion for the upcoming limited series, Beyond Salem.

Week of August 23:

Days Opinion: Olivia’s and Johnny’s arrivals shook things up in the best way. Plus, Ben and Ciara’s reunion presents a fresh start for many.

Monday, August 23:

EJ and Xander, working together? That makes a weird kind of sense, given how many plots they’ve cooked up individually. When they put their heads together, we can’t help but feel sorry for the people of Salem!

Julie’s always considered herself a very good judge of character, so it’s probably not surprising that she’s become suspicious of Gwen.

Chanel’s date with Johnny seems to be going swimmingly… at least until Paulina decides to crash the party!

After having gone through a whole lotta trauma, Ben and Ciara finally take time to celebrate.

Tuesday, August 24:

Tripp’s about to put his heart on the line with Allie… and that means things are gonna get real awkward, real quickly.

Abe’s had a hard time forgiving Paulina for the whole Price Town incident, but it looks as if he might finally be thawing toward her. Meanwhile, things definitely heat up between Chanel and Johnny!

Speaking of things heating up, it looks like Gwen and Xander — who’ve been dancing around one another for weeks — are finally going to take things to the next level. (Here’s hoping they don’t do it in Julie’s living room! But how can they after Jack's kicked Xander out of the Horton house?)

Wednesday, August 25:

Ava is into Rafe. Rafe is into Ava. But there could be trouble on the horizon when the two of them get into a dust-up over his friendship with Nicole. Not helping matters any? Gabi, who decides now would be the perfect time to stir up trouble for Ava!

Philip has his eye on a new hire, but Kate warns him against putting Jake on the payroll.

Brady’s about to leave on a trip, and he suggests that perhaps Chloe might like to join him. Wonder how Philip will feel about that? (You don’t have to ponder that question too long… simply read tomorrow’s teasers!)

Thursday, August 26:

Chloe is getting ready to take a trip to New York City with Brady. For some reason, the fact that his girlfriend is going to be traveling with a hunky ex drives Philip a little bit nuts!

Nicole realizes that she’s become an issue for two people she cares about deeply. But how will she opt to solve the problem?

Gabi and Jake combine their resources in an effort to find something they can use against Philip.

Hear that sound, off in the distance? Those are wedding bells, and they’re ringing for Justin and Bonnie, who are moving forward with their marriage plans.

Friday, August 27:

Allie and Tripp are ready to meet Chanel’s new beau. Given that the guy happens to be Allie’s twin, something tells us this will be awkward!

Despite past tensions between Bonnie and Steve, Justin asks Kayla’s husband to be his best man. Meanwhile, everybody has a past, and Bonnie’s is about to come back to haunt her when her sister Calista arrives in Salem!

Week of August 30:

Monday, August 30:

Bonnie is ready to start a new life, but Calista — her former sister-in-law — could make that very difficult. Will the newcomer really expose Bonnie’s secrets?

Tuesday, August 31:

When Philip is in crisis, Belle is there to try and talk him down off the ledge. (Metaphorically, we’re going to assume… but this being Philip, one never knows!)

Wednesday, September 1:

Things go from bad to worse for poor Philip when he walks in on his nightmare scenario: Chloe and Brady in bed together!

Thursday, September 2:

Can you keep a secret? John certainly can, which is why he’s recruited for a hush-hush mission. (Wonder if this has to do with the stolen jewels which will play a very big role in Beyond Salem, the Days spinoff which launches on Monday, September 6 on Peacock TV.

Roman gets a bit of bad news when Anna informs him that the marriage of their daughter, Carrie, has hit a rough patch.

Friday, September 3:

Now that they’re once again man and wife, it’s time for Ben and Ciara to do what comes naturally. No, not that silly… go on a honeymoon! Where we presume they’ll also do that first thing that came to your mind!

Twenty-five years after the murder of Another World's Frankie Frame (Alice Barrett), we look back at the ill-advised plot twist that may have put a beloved soap in the grave along with its heroine.

Eric Martsolf has been a staple on NBC Daytime since 2002 when he debuted as Ethan on Passions. After that soap ended in 2008, Days of our Lives scooped him up immediately to play the role of Brady Black.

Exclusive Interview With DAYS Eric Martsolf

DAYS Spoilers Speculation: This Titan Will Stop Jake and Gabi’s Takeover

Recent DAYS spoilers reveal that the Kiriakis family is in a bit of a free-fall. The member we see most is Xander (who actually has gone back to the last name Cook) and he’s playing Hide the Dead Body. Brady Black still has to look over his shoulder for a homicidal baby mama, and Philip Kiriakis is busy chasing after Chloe Lane.

DAYS Spoilers Speculation

Which means Titan is ripe for the picking. Will Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) swoop in and steal it away? Over 2,000 voters have come up with the following speculation:

To the Victor Goes…Everything

Not if Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) has anything to say about it, 61% of fans predict. Sure, his children, grandchildren, and nephew seem to have other priorities, but don’t count The Old Man out yet! Victor was running his company before either Jake or Gabi knew how to read, much less take over companies. He’ll take these whippersnappers to school!

DAYS Spoilers: It Takes Two

In second place, with 25% of the vote, are those who are convinced that Jake and Gabi together are unstoppable. DAYS spoilers tease they’re young, they’re hot (both two extremely important and qualified in the boardroom and the stock exchange), and if they can keep Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) at bay, they can definitely handle Victor. When was the last time the dude really fought the good fight?

DOOL Spoilers: The Third Man

Only a last place 14% are speculating that Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will manage to keep Titan in the family. The dude keeps appearing and disappearing, and even when he was in the office, he seemed more interested in keeping Xander (Paul Telfer) from actually accomplishing anything than making professional innovations of his own. Philip may talk about his birthright and modeling snazzy suits, but does he really want to be a mover and shaker? And is he any good at playing the game?

DAYS Spoilers For August 16: It’s Xander Cook To The Rescue

The DAYS spoilers for Monday, August 16, 2021, tease Xander Cook laying it all on the line for Gwen Rizczech, Paulina Price receiving an unwelcome guest, and a pair of love birds having to deal with party poopers.

DAYS Spoilers Highlights

When it appears that Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) role in Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) drug operation will be outed, Xander (Paul Telfer) makes a big sacrifice…he lies and says that it was all him! Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is floored by the development – if not dubious…especially since big brother Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) investigation pointed the finger at Gwen — and Gwen alone. Will Jack accept what Xander has to say and let his daughter stay protected?

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Fancy Seeing You Here

Paulina (Jackée Harry) is caught off-guard when her mother, Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs), shows up on her doorstep. It’s clear that there’s some serious tension between these two, so don’t be surprised when the reunion goes from awkward to full-blown battle royale.

Opposite this, DAYS spoilers tease that Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) explains to hubby Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) exactly why she’s finding it so difficult to forgive Paulina her lies about Horton Town Square. Will it finally all make sense or will everyone be more confused than ever?

DOOL Spoilers: Loser In Love

Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) have a joyous reunion – which is then promptly stymied by the arrivals of Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer)!

Theo is left broken-hearted when Ciara takes him aside and confesses that she’ll not be returning to Salem with him, that she’ll not be marrying him, and that they’ll no longer be a couple — awww. Guess he shouldn’t have pinned all his hopes on getting with a girl who wasn’t in possession of all her mental faculties. Funny that.

Soap Hub Performer of the Week for DAYS: Alison Sweeney

Sami Brady DiMera – played to pitch-perfect perfection by Alison Sweeney, the recipient of Soap Hub’s Performer of the Week Award for Days of our Lives – is an absolute conundrum. She’s a heroine….and a villainess. She can make you laugh, she can make you cry, and she can make you want to shake some sense into her; and gosh darn it if there aren’t times you just want to cheer her and her wicked ways on.

Alison Sweeney – Performer of the Week

Unfortunately for Sami, hubby EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is not currently one of her ardent admirers; he’s mighty miffed that she stepped out on their marriage – not once, but TWICE – with her ex-husband, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).

Try as she might, Sami couldn’t quite explain away those lapses in judgment…and her attempts to negate the circumstances surrounding them didn’t do much to help matters. But Sweeney deftly showed the cracks in Sami’s bravado — it was obvious it was killing her to have to break his heart.

And when it became painfully clear that forgiveness would not be forthcoming from EJ, Sami did what Sami is prone to do – she decided to lash out at others who she deems responsible for predicament…self-reflection isn’t really one of her strong suits!

So, off Sami stalked. She tracked down “that bitch” Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) and attempted to give her a piece of her mind. But Nicole gave as good as she got, and she insisted to Sami that she was merely in a hell of her own making. For a second, it appeared that Sami internalized the message…but she just as quickly reverted to form and warned her rival that their argument was far from finished.

Back to the DiMera mansion, Sami headed. Upon arrival, she had to contend with EJ, brandishing a letter opener, and Lucas. After breaking up the men’s confrontation, Sami had to crush Lucas’s reconciliatory spirits; and then it was Sami’s spirits that were crushed when EJ announced that he was sending her packing.

But Sami wasn’t about to give up hope of convincing EJ to forgive her. And she wasn’t about to accept being kicked out of the home they resided in…Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) would give her permission to stay if she asked nicely!

Before setting off for the Hernandez abode – where she would be abducted by a person unknown – Sami threatened EJ that he wouldn’t be getting rid of her that easy…and we, the audience, sure hope that that’s a promise from Alison Sweeney to us!
