Who Should Be Living In The Young and the Restless Chancellor Mansion?

Once upon a time on The Young and the Restless, Katherine Chancellor ruled her mansion with an iron fist, inviting various people to live there, some with great results, some with…less great ones.

The Young and the Restless Chancellor Mansion Residents

But now that she’s passed away and only her portrait remains, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Abby Newman-Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) live there. But should they? We asked over 2,000 viewers who truly deserves to dwell there:

The Golden Couple

Chance is Phillip Chancellor the Fourth, which means the place is rightfully his. And his wife, Abby is an Abbott and Newman. She is genetically predisposed to live in a mansion – and nowhere else. That’s why a majority 51% of you insist that Chance and Abby should continue living there on their own with baby Dominic. Anyone else who moves in just might lay a claim on the boy…in addition to all the other people who already do.

Back in the Young and the Restless Day

Forty years ago, Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) yearned to become the lady of the manor by having an affair with Phillip Chancellor the Second and giving birth to Phillip Chancellor the Third. She’s earned a place there, 34% of the audience insist and should be allowed her own room. Her own wing, actually.

Teen Years

Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) once lived in the Chancellor house, back when she was a runaway teen with her eyes on Phillip the Third. (It’s how we ended up with Phillip the Fourth.) She also earned her spot at the mansion. And would make a great babysitter for Dominic, 8% say.

Working Young and the Restless Class

Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) lived – and worked – at the mansion longer than anyone, so 7% figure not only should she, but her daughter, Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Chloe’s husband, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), and their kids, Bella and Miles, should move in, too. It’ll be a case of the more the merrier! And maybe even remind Chance of his days living in barracks. Only louder.
