Celebrate The Soap Stars Who’ll Be Blowing Out The Candles In January

The holidays may soon be wrapping up, but some of your daytime soap stars still have reason to party. That’s because they’re celebrating birthdays in January. Soap Hub has compiled a list of all the dates, so you can send the actors and actresses you love best wishes on their special day via Twitter and Instagram. Or you could go the old-fashioned route and mail them an actual card. Also, find out more about those born under the two signs of January.

Soap Stars Celebrate In January

If you are a Capricorn (beginning on December 22 – January 19), here are some of your traits. Capricorns are Earth signs, grounded, ambitious, practical, and materialistic. They have the gift of sizing up other people very astutely, making the average goat a good business person and a pillar of the community, but they tend to keep a small group of friends around them who are loyal and supportive.

They like to build a “nest,” whether it be a home, savings, investments, or just their reputation, Caps like to live an enviable life. They may not be the life of the party but you most certainly want them in your corner. And while they may be overly concerned about how they are perceived, they hide a dirty little naughty side that often surprises others (the ones they choose to reveal this side to, anyway). Here are some of the soaps’ famous Capricorn soap stars.

The month kicks off with two daytime stars who are new year babies. The Bold and the Beautiful’s Diamond White (Paris Buckingham) turns 23 on January 1 while Eden Riegel from All My Children (ex-Bianca) and The Young and the Restless (ex-Heather) turns 41.

Next up on the revelry list is a veteran of all the soaps, Rick Hearst, on January 4. The beloved star will be turning 57 years old. Then comes The Young and the Restless star Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland). She turns 32 on January 7.

General Hospital’s Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) will be blowing out some cake candles, too. He celebrates birthday number 49 on January 8.

A pair of soap stars, past and present, call January 14 their natal day. Vernee Watson (Stella Henry, GH) turns 68, while Days of our Lives alum James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera) turns 43.

On January 16, GH alum Anders Hove turns 66 while the next day, GH vet Jane Elliot (ex-Tracy Quartermaine) gets into the party mode. The actress is turning 75 on January 17.

If you are an Aquarius (beginning on December 22 – January 19), here are some of your traits. Aquarius is one of the three Air signs in the zodiac, known for being a rebel, a revolutionary thinker, a natural psychologist, free-spirited, eccentric, and a non-conformist. Not a sign that likes to take orders, but a true humanitarian at heart.

Aquarius is ruled by the planet Uranus which governs innovation, technology, and surprising events. A typical Aquarian places friendship at the top of their relationship go-to list, and often chose to marry a best friend. Their first love will often haunt them throughout their lives in one way or another. Negative traits include being very stubborn, aloof, and distant in relationships, often stuck in their thought processes.

Celebrating as an Aquarius is DAYS leading lady Sal Stowers (Lani Price Grant) who will be turning 36 on January 20. That same day, Lorenzo Lamas (ex-Hector, The Bold and the Beautiful) turns 64.

On January 21, former GH star Garren Stitt (ex-Oscar Nero) turns 18.

DAYS alum Gilles Marini remembered as Ted Laurent will be toasting a special day of his own on January 26. He’s turning 46.

The month comes to a close with a pair of popular soap stars going the cake and candles route. Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux, DAYS) turns 62 and Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman, Y&R) turns 45 on January 29. And lastly, on January 31, Réal Andrews (Taggert, GH) will be turning 59 years old.

January 2022 Overview:

All of the signs may be feeling the itch to move forward but the stars and planets have other plans. Refrain from making drastic changes or making impulsive decisions while the two personal planets of Venus (Love, Relationships, Beauty) and Mercury (Communication, Transportation, Expression, Memory) are retrograde. Retrogrades get a bad rap. Instead of thinking it is negative, think of it as a time to take a beat before moving forward. Take care of business that you have been putting off, strategize, make a plan, or build a foundation for something you will launch in the future.

The first month of the year will be a good time to take classes, improve skills, implement a self-care plan, re-evaluate your relationships, and business contacts. Keywords during these transits are determination, assertiveness, and diligence. January 2022 will feel like the end of a long process and it is in many ways. This chapter will close in mid-February when 5 planets will be in direct motion giving us all a chance to move forward with real change and fresh plans this spring.
