Hope Logan Spencer is a grown woman but her stepdad Ridge Forrester told her she needed to pack up her husband, kids, and stuff and get off Brooke’s property on The Bold and the Beautiful. The reason? Hope wants a relationship with birth dad, Deacon Sharpe, a man who Ridge simply cannot tolerate.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge Knows All
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has always had a certain sense of self-entitlement. He cheated on his bride-to-be Caroline Spencer (Joanna Johnson) before their wedding and has done pretty much whatever he’s felt like his whole life! Did he go too far with Hope (Annika Noelle) this time? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans.
A Ridge Too Far on B&B
Most of you, 60%, say that Ridge shouldn’t have meddled in Hope’s (Annika Noelle) life this way. Yes, Hope’s guest house is on Brooke’s property but it’s got its own separate entrance. Deacon could come and go and not even see Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) or Ridge. Ridge is Hope’s stepdad — not her landlord. And Hope’s not a teenager either.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Desperate Times
Yes. Ridge went too far, but many of you, about 30%, say that Ridge felt that he had to. Sooner or later, Deacon (Sean Kanan) is going to go too far — he’ll put Hope or her kids in jeopardy, and then there could be irreparable damage done. Ridge needed to intervene to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Might Makes Right
The rest of you, about 10%, say that Ridge did exactly the right thing. He’s a lion protecting his cubs. He’s the man. He can do no wrong. Ridge has been dealing with Deacon since before Hope was even born. Hope may not like it but Ridge is right in this case.
