Upon returning to Genoa City, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) makes a beeline for the Newman ranch – a move which greatly surprises Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

The men are pleased to find Chelsea looking well and catching Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) up on the life she led while caring for Anita. When Nikki and Victor take their leave in order to give Chelsea and Adam some privacy, things do take a decided turn to the awkward – especially when Chelsea broaches the subject of there still being a ‘her and Adam’ in the romantic sense.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Common Ground

Nikki summons Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) to the ranch, with the claim that she’s dealing with a family emergency and is in need of support. But when Nick arrives, he finds everything copacetic, and Nikki reveals it was all a ruse to force a confrontation between him and Victor.

Though not in the least bit pleased at his mother’s tactics, Nick agrees to stay – especially when Victor expresses sincere interest in hearing Nick out and making things right between them.

Y&R Spoilers: Odds and Ends

Y&R spoilers tease that Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) has surprising news to share with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), rudderless Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) considers a new opportunity, and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) cooks up a surprise for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) – but are her efforts put forth in the kitchen…or the bedroom?

Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) continues with his endeavor to lull his enemies into a false sense of security; and while he makes headway where Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) is concerned, Billy had better watch his own back. Victor receives ammunition that he’ll soon use against an opponent, and it’s Billy who currently sits atop The Mustache’s seek-and-destroy list.

Finally, The Young and the Restless spoilers warn that with a confrontation with Chelsea imminent, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) sets about covering her tracks – but does Sally’s actions have to do with ensuring that Chelsea doesn’t get a whiff of the interest that she has in Adam or is something more sinister afoot?
