Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Chelsea Makes A Surprising Move

Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea Lawson’s imminent return to Genoa City. While Adam Newman thinks he has a place for her at Newman Media, we predict that Chelsea has surprising plans of her own.

Y&R Spoilers: Chelsea Takes A Chance

Although Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) hinted over video calls that she wants to revisit her relationship with Adam (Mark Grossman), she’s known for being a con woman, and we wonder if perhaps she’s trying to set up her ex.

While Victoria believes Newman Locke has a deal with Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) locked up (with Victor’s blessing, of course), we think Chelsea could use some of her late husband’s money and make a surprise bid for ChanceComm. But, of course, Jill’s the type who might just do it for the sake of shaking things up (as long as the money’s right).

Y&R: The Long Game

As for why Chelsea might want a media company, we think she will use it to entice Connor’s (Judah Mackey) father back into a relationship. Of course, we don’t feel that Chelsea’s motives for wanting a relationship with her ex are necessarily above board. We think she’s playing the long game.

If Chelsea manages to get ChanceComm, we think she’ll get Adam back by her side, and then ChanceComm will become part of Newman Media. Whether or not she teams up with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) remains to be seen, though. Y&R spoilers hint that he, too, has a big plan for Adam, so perhaps they’d work together against a common foe.

More Drama For This Momma

No matter how she does it, we’d love to see Chelsea end up taking the entire conglomeration away from Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She’s had plenty of time away to cook up this exciting scheme, and she has several reasons to want to take down her ex.

In the end, this scenario is a lot more drama than her returning to work with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at Newman Media’s fashion division and getting jealous of her ex and Sally’s budding relationship. Chelsea deserves better — and so do Y&R viewers, so here’s hoping!
