When last The Young and the Restless viewers saw Cane Ashby, he had left Genoa City vowing to prove his innocence in taking Devon Hamilton’s inheritance away from him. That story is long gone and forgotten.

Not yet, 43% of you urge. The best time for Cane to come back would be right when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are just about to get married. Maybe even already at the altar. No soap wedding is complete without an interloper – especially an ex-husband. Maybe we’ll even get to see Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) again!

There’s more to Cane than just Lily, 32% of the audience would like it to be known. Remember when it looked like the show was flirting with the idea of hooking Cane up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)?
He’s also got a very complicated past with Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that could be revisited. Plus, the beauty of Cane is that he isn’t an Abbott or a Newman. Which means he’s got a lot more romantic prospects than most of the other male characters in his age group. And, well, then there is always Lily.
Citywide Chaos
Romance is nice, 25% of the voters agree. But mayhem is better. Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) has always had a soft spot for Cane – ever since he passed himself off as her son. What if she offers him a role at the company Lily and Billy are now running? Or how about teaming up with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)?
