The Bold and the Beautiful Comings And Goings: Missing Son Returning

Who’s coming, and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful? Are any of your favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the not-too-far-off future?

The Bold and the Beautiful C&G News

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring, or day-player roles? Are any well-remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Bold and the Beautiful fold in surprise new parts?  Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of September 26, 2022

Part two of CBS’ daytime crossover gets underway when Melody Thomas Scott brings The  Young and the Restless’ Nikki Newman to B&B. She’ll share scenes with her former TV husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Look for Thomas Scott to air on Monday, September 26 as Deacon and Nikki’s reunion continues.

The Talk’s Chi-Lan Lieu pops in as Child Protective Services Officer #1 on Tuesday, September 27, and Wednesday, September 28. Meanwhile, Johnny Rosales plays CPS Officer #2 on the same dates.

Steve Richard Harris portrays Walter Barnes on Thursday, September 29 and Friday, September 30. The actor has a daytime past. He previously played Zak Wilder on Another World (1997 to 1999), Seth Anderson on One Life to Live (2002 to 2003) and Aidan on The Young and the Restless (2009).

The Bold and the Beautiful History

B&B made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamor to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines with the backdrop of the fashion world setting the stage for epic romances have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From the first decades with Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that continues to this day, B&B knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.

A Critic’s Review Of The Young and the Restless: Running Hot and Cold

One thing is certain — there are sparks still flying between Deacon and Nikki.

The Young and the Restless Critic's Review for September 19 – September 23, 2022

When it comes to The Young and the Restless, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days, we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of Y&R’s week that was.

The Young and the Restless: A Critic’s Week In Review

There were two obvious highlights this week: visual conformation that Melody Thomas Scott and Sean Kanan still possess a palpable chemistry, and the selection of clips displaying the actors’ vivid, vibrant interplay as Nikki Newman and Deacon Sharpe.

There were obviously flaws as well:

Who am I supposed to be rooting for again? Is it Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) or Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)? The Young and the Restless really needs to reevaluate this story as it currently stands, because all I’m seeing is a mean girl consistently bullying a fellow femme.

I don’t find Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) parenting of their parents anywhere near as amusing as Y&R clearly expects me to.

And can someone explain to me how Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) new club is “art inspired” please? Did anyone see anything remotely artistic on/in that new — well, newish — set?

Further Y&R Musings

* I continue to enjoy Nate Hastings’s (Sean Dominic) walk on the dark side…and is it just me, or are there some sparks between the actor and Amelia Heinle? I could most certainly go for a Nate/Victoria Newman coupling. They could be the scheming power brokers that Victoria and Ashland Locke should have been.

* So, it took Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and Imani Benedict (temporary recast Denise Boutte) pointing out the obvious as well as Nate’s groveling to convince Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that maybe, just maybe he should put some stock into his cousin’s ideas? Now I want him to fail, even if it does come at everyone else’s expense.

* Welcome aboard The Young and the Restless Zuleyka Silver. Now, what is your purpose? I’m hoping it’s more than exposition about taking Chancellor-Winters public, but at this point and time, the stage is already primed for an Imani/Nate/Elena triangle if not a full-blown Imani/Nate/Elena/Devon/Amanda pentangle so adding you to that mess seems superfluous at best and ill-advised at worst.

Perhaps Josh Griffith will see fit to pair you opposite some singles who very much need to mingle. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) springs immediately to mind. Then again, there’s every possibility that your presence and potential will be squandered.

A Critic’s Review Of Days of our Lives: No Redemption And Predictable Ending

A predictable murder mystery has come to an end with…a predictable answer.

Days of our Lives Critic's Review for September 19 – September 23, 2022

When it comes to Days of our Lives, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the Days of our Lives week that was.

Days of our Lives: A Critic’s Week In Review

Well, Days of our Lives finally provided an answer to the question “Who Killed Abigail Deveraux DiMera,” and it wound up being the first person suspected and ultimately cleared — what a letdown.

This is why you don’t launch a whodunit storyline wherein all your viable suspects are peripheral, easily disposable characters. From the moment Abigail (Marci Miller) breathed her last I, you, we, and anyone else watching knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the mad stabber would be someone like a Clyde Weston (James Read), or a Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), or a Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) — and Clyde was truly the most disposable of the bad bunch.

This was a man who raped his minor stepdaughter, who physically, emotionally, and mentally abused his son, ran drugs, and who killed people. I know that there was a large contingent of fans who adored the Clyde and Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) coupling, and I might have been able to get over the dealing and the murders. After all, I forgave and in a manner of speaking I forgot the spree that Ben Weston went on — and I could maybe, just maybe look past what he did to Ben — since I love Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and he did try to kill Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) out of pure jealously — but I draw the line at child rape, and let’s not quibble that Jordan might have been in her early teens or even as old as 16 when the abuse happened. It happened and that’s the end of it.

Further DAYS Musings

* Given the plethora of metaphorical slaps in the face that he’s delivered to her over the years, does Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) really think that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) would choose her over Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), or were those just the dolls talking?

* Not that I believe for one millisecond that such an event will transpire, but what would University Hospital do if Dr. Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) did succumb to her illness? She literally does it all, including attempting to find a cure for what ails her and her fellow poisoning victims. Is this why Days of our Lives is reintroducing Mike Horton (Roark Critchlow)?

A Critic’s Review Of The Bold and the Beautiful: That Rearview Mirror’s Looking A Bit Blurry

Sometimes new writers like to change what a previous writer has written — but when it’s that same writer who does it…well, that’s just so wrong.

The Bold and the Beautiful Critic's Review for September 19 – September 23, 2022

When it comes to The Bold and the Beautiful, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days, we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of B&B’s week that was.

The Bold and the Beautiful: A Critic’s Week In Review

Among my many duties here at Soap Hub is compiling the Weekly Recaps article for The Bold and the Beautiful. It’s an easy feat considering the repetitive and uninspired plotting.

Whether it’s a Monday, a Tuesday, a Wednesday, etc., etc. I find myself writing a variation of: Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) issues a plea for her father to reunite with her mother, [insert character name] and [insert character name] discuss Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) refusal to return Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) to Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) — usually one of those being Hope’s husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) wastes his time warning Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) not to pine for a life wherein she, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and wee Hayes are one big happy family, [insert character name] disparages Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and sings the praises of Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), and either Brooke and Taylor or Hope and Steffy have a set-to over [insert reason for set-to].

It’s all ridiculous, déjà vu, and nausea-inducing fluff made even more so by Brad Bell’s insistence on ignoring The Bold and the Beautiful’s cannon — a cannon to which he himself has been contributing for more than two decades. I can understand a novice head writer getting easily verifiable facts wrong, but I expect more from the man who came up with the story in the first place.

For instance, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) takes the blame for being a selfish jerk and failing to reunite his family when he had the chance. Um, granted Ridge is a selfish jerk, but anybody who was watching back when Taylor made her second return from the dead knows that Ridge CHOSE HER OVER BROOKE and it was the revelation that Taylor had devirginized James Warwick (Ian Buchanan) — not to mention her smoochy smooch with Hector Ramirez (Lorenzo Lamas) — that derailed their (re)union. [So I guess that Taylor would cheat on Ridge and break his heart. Maybe somebody should inform Steffy and Thomas.]

And I am so sick of hearing the position that Brooke pursued Ridge throughout his marriage(s) to Taylor, not the least of which is because I find myself having to defend Brooke who I frequently find to be so dense as to be undefendable.

Brooke involved herself with Connor Davis (Scott Thompson Baker) and James during Ridge’s first go around with Taylor, had a short-lived marriage to Grant Chambers (Charles Grant), then completely left Ridge in her rearview mirror to make a real go of it with Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon). Later on, there was Deacon (Sean Kanan)…and Nick Marone (Jack Wagner)… And sure, every time that Taylor supposedly died Brooke was right there to try again with her “destiny” but when Taylor would pop back up, it was always Doc whom Ridge chose.

I remember it, the majority of you Bold and the Beautiful fans remember it, and I’m sure that Brad Bell remembers it too — he did write it after all — it’s just that he clearly doesn’t care because that doesn’t fit the narrative that he wants to spin in the here and now. I can’t say that that is a quality that I would want in head writer.

Further B&B Musings

* Though Bridget (Ashley Jones), Rick (Jacob Young), and RJ (Anthony Turpel) got lip service, I couldn’t help but notice that Thomas didn’t include Jack in his list of Brooke’s offspring. Is Jack yet another thing that Brad Bell would like us to forget?

A Critic’s Review Of General Hospital: Head Scratching Retcons

This new wrinkle with Liz’s “storyline” has really got us wondering what they’re thinking.

General Hospital Critic's Review for September 19 – September 23, 2022

When it comes to General Hospital, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days, we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the GH week that was.

General Hospital: A Critic’s Week In Review

It has become more than apparent that when Chris and Dan/Dan and Chris are in doubt, their only recourse is to violate General Hospital’s cannon.

Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) storyline — and I’m doing the writing duo a major service by calling this a storyline — which has clearly been constructed via a “throw something at the wall and see what sticks” stratagem is now no longer hers exclusively but is instead a spotlight for widower Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Worst of all, nothing adds up. Reiko Finn was established as having died from Blackwood’s syndrome not all that previous to Finn’s introduction in March of 2016, and now the writers have added the wrinkle(s) that she and Finn were already a couple and practicing doctors in 1997 and that Elizabeth, who must now be a good 15-20 years younger than Finn, may or may not have pushed Reiko down a flight of stairs after catching her dallying with Jeff Webber, whom Finn apparently never met but Reiko did? Huh? What?

Equally head-scratching is the decision to kill off Johnny Wactor’s alter ego. At this point, I have to believe that Sofia Mattsson seriously pissed off some higher-up, and a directive to make Sasha Gilmore as miserable as possible was handed down.

Seriously, what do Chris and Dan/Dan and Chris hope to achieve here? Will General Hospital soon be divesting itself of Sasha? Are their plans to slot Sasha into a triangle with, say, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) or perhaps Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)?

Further GH Musings

* Jacksonville, Florida = Nixon Falls 2.0

* Once again Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has hinted of some great and terrible evil descending upon Port Charles; he’s been doing that for over a year now. Either get to it General Hospital or drop the idea completely. At this point, I don’t care which.

The week ahead is full of stunning news and a heartbreaking goodbye.

DAYS Spoilers Weekly Recap

This week things got crazy in Salem as the resident stabber was revealed. Finally, at long last, they know who killed Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) and stabbed Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker). And no, it wasn’t Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas). It seemed that good ole Clyde Weston (James Read) did the dirty deeds. Poor, poor Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo). She’s not had the greatest luck in love as of late.

In other news, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) won custody of Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), which, of course, means that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)…did not win. Shame. It seemed Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) had a little something to do with it, too, what with her little visit to the judge where she handed over incriminating video evidence of Kristen using a letter opener to threaten her. Shame.

The Days of our Lives Week Ahead

Coming up, you will see EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) relay some stunning news to Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison). Given their history, it might be something that really shakes things up. They desperately work to locate Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), but he’s out for blood, so it may not be so easy.

Later, Chad will say a tragic, heartbreaking goodbye to a vision of Abigail after he finds out all the details of what happened the night she was murdered. Ultimately, EJ comes to his rescue, and hopefully, it’s enough to help Chad cope with this week full of bad news.

Oh, and in between all that, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) finds herself absolutely distraught over Stefan O. DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) behavior. Be sure to check out the daily breakdown below.

Secret deals were hatched this past week while next week it looks like big plans come to fruition!

Y&R Spoilers Weekly Update

Y&R spoilers weekly update for September 26-September 30, 2022, tease the week ahead is full of painful decisions and surprise guests. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!

Y&R Spoilers Weekly Recap

This week things got wild on The Young and the Restless. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) approached Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about being her man on the inside when Chancellor-Winters goes public. She spoke with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and they decided it was worth the big risk (getting caught doing insider trading). Although Nate had quit his job, he quickly went and apologized and un-quit. He let Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) in on his plan, which he seemed to think could be a good thing for his family, and she wasn’t happy. Even though he begged for her support, Elena just couldn’t do it.

Also, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) finally lost it. She totally went off on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), which led to Diane admitting her misdeed to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier). She resigned, and Kyle and Summer noted that meant Phyllis had to leave too, which did not make Summer’s mom happy. Then, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) threw a party for Kyle and Summer to celebrate their upcoming vow renewal and decided to have Phyllis and Diane arrive in shifts. Of course, Phyllis happened upon the party, and she felt left out of things. She spiraled but managed to hold it together for Summer and Kyle. Diane received a text from a mysterious person headed to Genoa City, and Phyllis noticed her rival was upset.

Oh, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) went to Los Angeles to confront Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). He tried to manipulate her a bit, but Nikki didn’t fall for his charm or his shenanigans.

The Young and the Restless Week Ahead

Coming up, expect to see Victoria and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) make a painful decision that’s likely related to Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) request that they tell Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) that she’s his birth mom. Victoria certainly didn’t want to do it, and Billy also tried to hold off Chelsea. However, now that Johnny and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) enjoyed a recent playdate together, it seems like they won’t be able to hold off Chelsea for too long.

Finally, before the week ends, you’ll see Diane get a surprise guest, and we suspect it has something to do with the unnamed character that Trevor St. John (ex-Victor Lord, Jr.; One Life to Live) will portray. It looks like we’ll finally learn a bit more about what Diane was doing all those years she was “dead” while living in Los Angeles.

This week, things got quite bad for Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) when her husband, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), succumbed to the injuries he sustained from the PC Hooker. Friends and family were shocked and heartbroken by the news, but it just might be the end of Sasha’s rope after losing her baby last year. His death was perplexing at first, but it turned out the hook used to stab him had been poisoned, and that’s how he died.

Then, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) caught a break when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) figured out where Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) really took her. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) tipped them off to the fact that Lucy wasn’t entirely thrilled to be with Victor, and then she shared the content of Lucy’s tweet, which tipped them off to her location — The Haunted Star. After a near disaster, they ended up successful — but after all that, Lucy didn’t want to be rescued!

The General Hospital Week Ahead

Young and the Restless Judge Not: Is Jack Being Fair To Phyllis?

Jack has been getting closer, or so it seems, to Diane Jenkins. She seems to get away with a lot more than Phyllis was ever allowed!

Young and the Restless Phyllis and Jack

Kyle Abbott and Jack Abbot keep finding themselves in the middle of the feud between Phyllis Summers and Diane Jenkins on The Young and the Restless. They tried treating the women like toddlers and telling them that it doesn’t matter who started it, the next time there is any kind of problem, they’re both getting fired – so play nice!

Young and the Restless Polling

But is Jack (Peter Bergman) prioritizing the mother of his son over the mother of his…daughter in law (who, for a period of time, was believed to be his…that’s not creepy at all)?

Young & Restless: Unfair Play

Jack is totally not being a fair broker, 75% of the audience scoffs. Whenever it comes down to the wire, Jack always chooses Diane (Susan Walters) over Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). It all started when Phyllis slept with Jack just so she could rub Diane’s face in their glorious, renewed love – and Jack felt used. Come on, dude, toughen up! Don’t you realize your role is to be there for Phyllis, no matter what? So she has lied to you, and cheated on you, and used you. At least she isn’t, you know…Diane.

Young and the Restless: Self Destruct

A much smaller 16% of you assert that Jack is – finally! – seeing Phyllis for who she truly is, and reacting accordingly. He gave her the benefit of the doubt time after time after time, and she proved to be her own worst enemy. It only makes sense that now Jack is giving Diane the same chance. In the hope that she will prove to be a better investment.

Y&R: What’s Next?

Only 9% are withholding judgment until you see how Jack reacts to the latest brouhaha. Diane played the victim and turned in her resignation first, which left Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) with no choice but to sack Phyllis, as well. Jack told Kyle to give both women some time to cool off. Let’s see how it all shakes out.

As all this goes on, Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) struggle with their mysterious illness. Their loved ones race against the clock to find a cure. Will a returned Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) be their saving grace?

Kyle Lowder is back for another visit as Rex Brady, too. The character returns to Salem to visit his ailing mother, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).

Among the other big returns will be Roark Critchlow, remembered as Mike Horton, later this month. And Lamon Archey is slated to make a special holiday visit as Eli Grant.

Soap Hub Performer Of The Week For DAYS: Cady McClain

Cady McClain has stolen our hearts as her Jennifer is a woman on the edge.

Soap Hub Performer of the Week for DAYS: Cady McClain

DAYS’ Cady McClain is deserving of Soap Hub’s Performer of the Week kudos merely for the deft way in which she’s made the character of Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux her own, but she’s actually receiving them for her powerhouse work as a woman on the edge.

Cady McClain — Performer Of The Week

Before her alter-ego popped a pill, McClain presented as a bundle of nerves. With Jennifer’s addiction satiated, McClain literally sighed with relief. Seconds later, when it appeared that her action had been rumbled, the actress shifted into self-preservation mode.

In want of a distracting action, McClain turned to a prop — in this case a framed photograph — straightened it and invoked the item’s subject. “Remember how [Abigail] always used to come over here and rearrange things?” she wondered to Matthew Ashford’s Jack Deveraux. He did. “A place for everything, and everything in its place.” he reminded.

“Yeah,” McClain retorted, now verging on tears. “Except our little girl is not in the place where she belongs.” The couple embraced. A ringing doorbell interrupted the scene. When Jack made a move to answer the call, Jennifer returned to her daughter’s picture and, in quiet desperation, hid her cache of drugs behind it.

Jennifer was not pleased to see that their visitor was Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien); McClain made that perfectly clear with the tone of voice she used to identify the young woman; her, “Gwen,” was not so much a “Gwen, how nice to see you,” but rather a “Gwen, what the Hell are you doing in my house?”

Still, Jennifer tried to play the perfect hostess. She even thanked Gwen, sincerely it seemed, for turning Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), Abigail’s supposed killer, into the police. And she didn’t even blanch when Gwen copped to doing so mostly out of spite for his previous treatment of her. But Jenn did balk at Gwen’s assumption that Leo is actually innocent, and that Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) is the mad stabber.

McClain was excellent in several subsequent scenes –scenes that included Jennifer trying to wrap her head around the story that Gwen was selling — but she truly shone during a fiery confrontation with O’Brien, triggered by Gwen’s having stumbled upon Jennifer about to self-medicate.

“You have no idea what I’m going through,” her Jennifer spat at Gwen, who’d taken the position that Jack should be informed before his wife’s condition worsened.

Grief and shame quickly gave way to not-so-righteous anger that was very unbecoming of Jennifer, but Cady McClain sold it — and when Jennifer warned Gwen that she could see to it that Jack turned his back on her, the audience was made to believe it.

Soap Hub Performer of the Week for Y&R: Michelle Stafford

Phyllis went all out this week trying to protect Summer from Diane.

Michelle Stafford The Young and the Restless

The Young and the Restless viewers know that Phyllis Summers will do whatever she can for her daughter, Summer Newman Abbott — up to, and including, ridding Genoa City of her evil mother-in-law. For her gutsy portrayal of a woman pushed to the edge, Soap Hub’s Performer of the Week honor for Y&R is presented to Phyllis’s portrayer, Michelle Stafford.

Michelle Stafford — Y&R Performer of the Week

This week, Phyllis tried her hardest to get rid of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) while staying on the good sides of Summer (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Many times throughout the week, the words she said didn’t quite match the expressions on Stafford’s face, which is how she conveyed Phyllis’s frustration at dealing with Diane while performing their respective jobs at Marchetti.

Of course, when Diane totally went off the rails, the look of triumph that Michelle Stafford gave Phyllis really showed a bit of what Phyllis felt inside, even though she managed to keep things mostly reasonable with her arch-nemesis. Sure, Phyllis said some catty things, but she kept her wits about her, unlike Diane.

When Diane confessed what she’d done to Kyle and Summer, Stafford’s barely contained happy body language and careful looks showed that Phyllis felt triumphant even though she tried to keep a lid on things in front of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Summer, and Kyle.

Of course, that all went sideways really quickly when Kyle and Summer announced Phyllis was out alongside Diane. The air literally went out of Phyllis, and the actress conveyed how disappointed, frustrated, and upset her on-screen alter ego was at the unexpected turn of events.

However, Michelle Stafford hit the true high note of this week’s performance when Phyllis crashed Summer and Kyle’s re-engagement party at the Glam club atop The Grand Phoenix. The actress showed Phyllis’s hurt and pain both with her tone of voice and slumping shoulders and hands that didn’t know what to do with themselves. Phyllis conveyed to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that she was losing it, and he managed to talk her off the ledge.

However, even though Phyllis said and did the right things, her pain still showed through as Stafford gave her a warbling voice when she gave her toast to the bride and groom. Congratulations on an excellent performance this week! Bravo.
