Happy Birthday, Jacob Young
And that’s because he was born on September 10, 1979, in Renton, Washington, which means that this talented fan favorite is turning 43 years old today! In 2001, Young was tapped to replace Jonathan Jackson in the role of General Hospital’s Lucky Spencer, yet another legacy character. He remained in the part for three years. Soon after, he joined the cast of All My Children where he played JR Chandler, son of stalwart character Adam Chandler, from October 1, 2003, to September 23, 2011.
Young’s other acting credits include the episodes of the mini-series The Beach Boys: An American Family, Hope & Faith, One Life to Live (JR Chandler), Days of our Lives (Kinsey), The Young and the Restless (as Rick Forrester), and Beacon Hill.

Aside from his acting, Young is known for his singing ability. He released a self-titled CD on September 11, 2001, and in 2006, he combined his love of singing and acting by appearing in the Broadway production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. He played Lumiere, the candelabra/castle maître d’.
